My husband and I worked very closely with Debby DeLeon, at New Horizons Travel, starting in December of 2015. She helped us thoroughly plan our travel to our destination wedding in February of 2017. She not only worked closely with us to successfully schedule airfare, hotels, transportation, resort stays and more, but she also helped nearly 50 other guests of ours do the same. We booked our wedding trip for a week in Mexico and travel to our honeymoon on a cruise just after that. I loved working with Debby because she always had our best interest in mind. She gave suggestions and advice where needed, but ultimately let us make all of the decisions. I would surely recommend Debby for ANY of your travel needs. She consistent, clear, professional and overall a great person to interact with. We will definitely be returning to her for future uses.

I used New Horizons Travel and worked with Lacey Veenstra-Gay to arrange travel for a destination wedding. Travel arrangements worked out smoothly. I felt like her communication was fairly poor. For example, if I were to send an email to ask a few questions, she would never reply to all of the questions I asked. I ended up emailing her one question at a time because that was the only way she would answer me. Also prior to choosing to book with her, I asked a few different times if we could please meet in person to discuss our thoughts and plans and she would never acknowledge it. I wish I would chose someone else who was more responsive. Multiple guests who reached out to her about travel arrangements expressed similar concerns and ultimately chose to book on their own or through another agent because of these same issues.

This company is amazing!!! Our flight was delayed and we were going to miss our connection out of JFK. We were going overseas for our mother's birthday and this delay would have lost us an entire day if not more. While we were trying fruitlessly to get this resolved at the gate, Shane came to the rescue! He was able to find a flight to an airport only 1 hour away and our delay is now only 4 hours instead of 24! Let me tell you, if Shane played Batman instead Christian Bale, he would have saved Rachel AND Commisioner Gordon. This guy is so fast, he makes the Flash looks slow! We didn't even tell them we were having issues, he just found the solution. I couldn't have dreamed of better service.

Nicole was so great! I contacted another agency first and they almost seemed bothered by my emails and request. So glad we found Nicole and New Horizons! She was extremely prompt and made sure we were 100% prepared for our trip. I could tell she was excited for us about our trip, which made us more excited! We had the best time in Akumal and we will definitely use these guys again in the future!

They are extremely helpful in answering all questions you may have, even odd questions say,, 'I always travel with a knife. At what size will they confiscate it?' (clearly not flying). They also plan to keep in touch with you by email until you leave, even after payment. They have plenty of staff to help you.

My wife and I contacted New Horizons travel to arrange our vacation to Thailand after being referred by a friend. We were contacted promptly by one of the agents and after a phone call discussing our plans it was decided that it would be best to meet in person to further discuss our travel plans. We arrived at our appointment and had (what we thought) was a very productive meeting with our agent Rebecca. She took notes and gave us tips on our plans since she had traveled to Thailand recently. At the end of the meeting she said she would need a week or so to put together a quote for us. After a week and a few days had passed my wife emailed her asking for an update and never received a response. After two and half weeks had passed I tried to contact her via email as well and never received a response. After this I called the office directly and asked to be transferred to her. When she answered the phone it became clear that she had either intentionally or out of laziness had not done any work towards putting a quote together and even said she "didn't have her notes" from our previous meeting. She then said she could "try to put something together for us by that night". I told her that if she could get us something within a day or two that would fine. After this phone call on 5/21/19 we have yet to receive an email, phone call or any communication whatsoever from her and it is now 6/12/19. Not only has this been a frustrating process but also the time wasted dealing with this agency has put us significantly behind in our travel planning. I would not recommend this travel agency to anyone.

I needed to go to Germany for spine surgery and had very specific requests for the flight and hotel accommodations. Karen was extremely understanding and helpful throughout the entire process. I was able to complete all arrangements with ease. She even called after I came home to ensure I was doing ok and had safe travels. I highly recommend New Horizons Travel for international travel.

Honeymoon Story: We were supposed to fly from DIA to DFW and then on to Montego Bay but because of some de-icing delays, missed our connecting flight. Fortunately, our incredible travel agent at New Horizons Travel Agency was Johnny-on-the-spot and got us re-routed through Miami to still make it to the resort by tonight. I cannot say enough good things about Shane at New Horizons Travel. From the beginning, he was very efficient and professional. My husband and I met him on a walk-in visit to the travel agency when we were in the very early phases of planning our trip. Shane was happy to meet with us on the spot (we had assumed we would need to make an appointment), he listened to what we had in mind, and after discussing a few different options, he quickly lined up our honeymoon vacation. All throughout our trip, as everything fell perfectly into place, my husband and I quietly thanked Shane. Thank god Shane thought of that. Thank god Shane told us this. He was very detailed oriented, asking us what airplane seats we preferred (window or aisle), provided us in advance with the phone number for the complementary hotel shuttle, little things we likely would not have thought of ourselves. We went on a cruise and Shane helped us choose Carnival after listening to our preferences. Neither of us had been on a cruise, so we were incredibly thankful for Shane's experience and recommendations. He helped us choose an ocean balcony room which was by far the best part of our trip. Also, our room was on the top floor and very close to the center of activity. We wondered several times if our room assignment was just good luck, or if it was Shane continuing to look out for us. We loved our room and its location! Thank you, Shane. Even before we left for the trip, John and I were saying that we would continue to use you in the future. The smoothness and hassle-free vacation only confirmed our previous thoughts. Thank you for answering all our questions in advance and for thinking of things we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. We will stop in and talk to you soon about our next vacation!
