I brought my child and cousin on a tour and they loved every minute of it. From the office staff to the pilot, all around a great team, knowledgeable about the helicopter and the local area and very friendly! Pilot has no issue flipping between explaining stuff at various age levels.

I booked the short trip for my husband and I. I am not fond of heights and have vertigo but wanted to give him a memorable experience during this vacation. He was very nervous when the helicopter lifted off. It took only a few minutes before he was enthusiastic about what he could see. I couldn't look down! Before the helicopter landed he was wanting a longer ride. I was going to let him go by himself but they have to charge for 2 people. I went. IT WAS FANTASTIC! We took the "Pike's Peak Tour". My vertigo went away and he was soaking up everything the pilot was telling us about the scenery below us. This is a must for a visitor to the area. You will see sites you would likely miss from the ground and it is a different view. I would go again. It is pricey, but we have gone online to check out prices of helicopter rides in DFW and this tour is reasonable. Scrape up your change! If you have never been over the Rocky's this is a fantastic trip.

Christmas Light Tour! Arrived on time as we arrived the helicopter instructor came in right away & got us all set for the ride ! The reason why I’m giving this a 4 stars out of 5 star is because front receptionist lady isn’t very social, & was starring at my wife & I as we grabbed coffee on our way out, kinda like a “really?!” Type of look I’m sure it was a long day for them but can’t beat a great customer service as I give a poor customer service here with receptionist we said thank you on our way out & no response kinda like if we were talking to the wall but it is what it is! My wife & I work in the medical field & well you can’t win everyone over right ! Anyways again thanks to the pilot & the instructor for an awesome customer service & night ! Will still recommend:)

Over the Christmas Holiday, my family and I were interested in a Christmas light helicopter tour, and decided to give Colorado Vertical a try. We were extremely happy with the friendly service we received from Will, and it was great that they were able to take a family of four! Every other helicopter tour we have done in the past only allowed up to 3 passengers, so someone always ended up left out. The tour was absolutely amazing! My Dad, being a huge helicopter nut he is, decided he wanted to take another tour, but this time he wanted to do it in the day time. Will accommodated that request, and helped us pick a day and time that worked for us. This daytime tour ended up being the greatest experience we ever had. On this second tour, Eli was our pilot, and out of the approximately 20 tours we have done over the years, this one topped all of them by leaps and bounds! Mind you we have taken tours in Las Vegas, Bahamas, California, France, Croatia, England and many other places, and this one topped them all! Eli arranged for extra time before the flight to allow us to take a bunch of photos in and around the helicopter. He even walked around the helicopter with my Dad and answered a ton of questions my Dad had about the aircraft. He showed him every part of the helicopter and explained what it does and how it works. He was so friendly to us, and I have never in my life seen my Dad happier. During the flight, Eli talked my dad through everything he was doing and explained so much information about the helicopter and flight in general. I found it amazing that Eli custom-tailored this flight to fit our unique needs as it was quite evident that my father was far more fascinated with the aircraft and how it works than he was in the sightseeing. During this entire experience, we sincerely felt like we received the absolute best customer service possible. This was not “just another tour” for Eli, he went above and beyond to make us happy. I’m sure Colorado Vertical flies thousands of people each year, but they still make each flight unique and memorable. Most other tours we did are just a bland sightseeing tour where the pilot points out a few attractions and doesn’t really answer many questions. In fact, as far as I can remember in previous flights, my Dad always remained silent during the whole flight and only asked a few questions at the end. With Colorado Vertical, my Dad was very involved with the whole process and got a lot out of it. We did not feel like “just another customer”, Will and Eli made us feel like family! In conclusion, Colorado Vertical really went above and beyond to make both flights very special for us, and I know it will be something my Dad talks about for many years to come. We will absolutely be flying with them again in the future!

My girlfriend and I recently took a tour of Colorado Springs. It was INCREDIBLE! We were just wrapping up a week-long trip and had seen most of the sights from the ground. But there's nothing quite like experiencing the city (especially Garden of the Gods and the Broadmoor) from a helicopter. This company did everything they promised to and more. In addition to taking us on the quick tour, we were able to learn so much about helicopters in general and even got a quick show of some of the parts. You can tell that the pilots aren't just doing this for a quick dollar, but actually love their job. It shows and it was a great opportunity to just ride with them. Would recommend and will definitely be using them again.

This was one of the greatest experiences I have had! I have flown with this pilot before in Colorado Springs and it was great too. He is wonderful and walks you through everything! All staff was great and they took my entire family in two different rides. The helicopter is fantastic and new. You can talk to the pilot the entire time too. Absolutely fantastic! Will and his pilots are totally professional and excellent pilots. They are also super fun and want you to have the very best experience. We have taken flights in the past over Downtown Colorado Springs and more recently over Royal Gorge. A great adventure and we cant wait to take our 2 young daughters to fly with them. The Helicopter was clean and comfy and Will did a great job of explaining what would happen during our tour. I'd recommend Colorado Vertical to anyone and we look forward to our next flight with them.

Just flew with these guys for the third time, and it once again was a blast! At this price point, there's no excuse. Cough up the hundred bucks and go for it. Take advantage of the December availability here in the Springs and the screaming deals, and spread the word! These guys are headed back to Canon City in January!

Great experience and quick way to explore the hidden areas around the Royal Gorge Bridge. Will, who used to fly for the Colorado State Patrol, is a very safe and experienced pilot flying in a stable work horse of a helicopter. Our 2 year old daughter sat up front next to Will and thoroughly enjoyed the ride.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! From booking, to calling before, to being so cool with the fact that I was 30 minutes late, this is a top notch place to go. It was almost 9pm when we got there and the pilot was the nicest and most welcoming guy there is. The whole time he was telling me everything about flying and how the helicopter works. I feel like I can be a pilot now! Seriously though, would not want anything different. Spot on Colorado Vertical thanks!

We stopped here on a whim after a day at the Royal Gorge. No appointments were necessary. We were able to walk right up and, after filling out some paperwork and going through the preflight safety training, we were ready to fly. We opted for the shorter (about 8 min) flight over the Royal Gorge. It was surprisingly affordable at only $49 per person. The flight was smooth and fun and the views were amazing. I would highly recommend this tour.
