Reasonably priced
Always yummy! They totally deserve a better location!!!
Nice way to kill some time and see the harbor take a little trip to Shelter Island and then dive into the bay
No good high price for nothing
Great way to see the harbor. The captains were funny and informative. Learned a lot about the area and had a great time with the family.
This was so awesome! Our tour guide was amazing. He provided alot of cool info about the city and the military. Definitely worth it!
Very fun súper good experience
Alot of fun!!!! Well worth it!!!
Very detailed tour with a lot to see by land and water. I think that the highlight was seeing the sea lions pose and kiss for the cameras.
Very exciting and informative. Definitely a most try for those visiting San Diego
Awsome place, beautiful view
I took my 5yr old daughter and we both had a wonderful time on the tour. My daughter especially enjoyed seeing the sea lions.
Wonderful adventure had by all! Great tour guide and captain. We saw lots is seals and had plenty of opportunities to take pictures and videos. Highly recommend this tour!
Most Beautiful thing I've ever seen
Very cool and worth the price of admission to see the bay. The bay is cold so be prepared to dress up a bit to stay warm. They offered blankets that did help take the edge off.
Our super awesome cousin showed us around San Diego. The water and the view never disappoint us. It was more than we we expected. Will come back soon
Great tour but the vehicle broke down and we were stuck on the broke down vehicle, my family and I had to call an Uber to make it back to the parking lot before our meter ran out, and we paid for our Uber
A fun experience,friendly staff
Great tour, worth the price... Kids had a blast!!!!
Our tour guide was great. The amphibious vehicle is awesome. We learned a lot about the history and culture.
Loved the tour! Worth the not so cheap tickets
I was out on the bay with my 2 young boys fishing yesterday. I had 3 lines in the water and had been at this spot for about 5 minutes. One of these seal tour boats came within 30 feet of my boat and had I not reeled in my line it would have run it over. The guests on the tour even felt uncomfortable as I recast my line directly in the wake about 5 feet behind the tour boat. I don’t understand why you would need to come that close to another boat when there is an entire bay to navigate in. I don’t care if that’s your designated route, you need to alter it if there are people using the space. That’s unprofessional navigation and unprofessional behavior.
Super fun. I live in San Diego and do a lot of tourist things. The ride is fun and then people give a really cool history of San diego
Good tour, friendly captain and tour guide.
The actual trip was a little boring 4 of us ( out of 6 ) fell asleep during the tour. The bus engine is very noisy and the lady's voice talking on the speaker so loud gave us such a headache. Also the guys at the booth were not polite at all and not willing to help or collaborate when we asked questions. So we didn't like it we don't suggest you spend over $40/each person to stay on a loud bus for 90 minutes having a lady yelling through a speaker
Great tours!
Great tour. The captain and guide were excellent. A lot of good and interesting information was shared. It was a little bit cold given the odd weather last week but blankets were available .
It's a wonderful time with the family. It just needs to fix their information about the Navy as there was multiple things they said was wrong.
Great tour on the water for any visitor to San Diego.
The tour was nice we had a drink and relaxed on the deck..was a 2 hour tour.We use are Groupon coupon and couldn't. Beat the prices.took. some nice pictures.very relaxing !
Very informative tour
Not really a lot for your money. Captain was great but the experience could have been better. Highlight was seeing the seals and some history of the area.
Always a fun tour. You will spend more time on the water than on land A definite plus!
When we were visiting San Diego in March, we did a lot of walking around seaport village. We sat down on a bench that was next to a tour bus boat. Although the price was about $35 per person it appears that it would have been worth it because this bus could go into the water. We did not take the tour. Back the people on board looked as if they were ready to have some fun.
Very nice I love to do this kind of tour when ever I visit a new city! We used a group on coupon. But you have to call Groupon to make a reservation..
Had a wonderful time in this tour. We really enjoyed touring mission bay! Would highly recommend this tour.
Cool amphibious tour with a nice bay area history lesson
Second time taking out of town guests on this tour both times were enjoyable
People upbeat weather's beautiful
Did the old town trolley tour. Great way to see the city and stop and explore your favorite attractions. The guides were all very friendly and knowledgeable.
The tour was fun and educational. The ride was 90 minutes and half the time you are on the ocean. It got pretty chilly but they hand out blankets. Beautiful views of the piers. Nice and relaxing. Good for families with young kids and for the elderly.
Never been here, Google thinks I was, maybe because it was close by ? Then it invaded my privacy and asked how I liked it ??? So I don't know... Never been there lol
Good to spend time with family
I bought the tickets online the night before and chose Embarcadero to board. A reason to choose this location is the first time is very crowded in Seaport Village. This is my second time with SEAL Tours, last time I boarded at Seaport Village. I found out the 2 locations are not that far apart and there is a 3 hour metered parking lot in between the 2 locations near the battleship. Checking in is easy. Captain Fozii and 1st Mate Bret for our ride are very friendly and funny. My kids love the experience. The tour itself is amazing. Parking is limited though, so make sure you give yourself enough time to find a parking before checking in and boarding.
We had a wonderful experience. The Seal tour guide and drivers were fun and the vehicle is cool. It goes in the water and drives on land. We recommend it. Also, plan to wear a sweater or jacket as it gets cold once you are on the water.
Its free for locals, with a buy 1 get 1 free deal. fun for kids or just to get out on the water for a little getaway.
Very fun experience.
Very nice place to visit for vacation
22 weeks pregnant me didn’t even get sea sick from this .. had a two year old on board with us and he really enjoyed it ..would definitely recommend the seal tour
Best sightseeing tour and San Diego
Very nice experience. Super professional.
It's a very Great to have a Walk to Seaport Village it's amazing in the afternoon the Sun down its very Fantastic i love going for walks there yup yup for sure ill go again
Loved it. Was the best tour ever...
Great way of go around to see San Diego water way.
A little hard to hear.
Good tour! Informative and enjoyable. Got some great pictures of sea lions.
I took both my daughters on this tour this weekend a 16 & 9 year old and we all had a great time
I took the tour last year, not knowing it's the same Duck Boat that sank in Missouri Table Rock Lake last week which killed 17 people. It's the same type of boat. How can the SEAL tour still in operation???? Stop this tour before another tragedy happens!
Super fun we had a blast on this
This was alot of fun the tour guide was very knowledgeable. It's worth checking in early to get good seats.
A novelty tour that does a quick road tour of the bay and an hour long trip in the bay via an amphibious vehicle. The guides were great and very knowledgeable. The seats were a bit uncomfortable and be sure to bringa jacket because it can get a bit chilly on the water. They do provide blankets but they're limited and pretty thin.
It was a must even on a cloudy day
Had a great time on the tour with our 5 and 7 year old. The crew was very friendly and fun. We learned a lot about the military goings ons in the area and the history of San Diego. I would definitely recommend booking.
Busy usually with a lineup.
Something like history and San Diego that gives you a chance to get the best stay at Our local areas for vacations
Wonderful tour our guide Frank was fun and very informative about the San Diego bay area.
Fortress I guess it would be okay I'm a local and have my own boat so I've seen all the sights looks like they're having fun though and they drive by at the launch ramp
Very informative and fun. Recommend
Super nice, beautiful views. It kind of smell weird, but it is normal since they are wild animals You can get close enough, but keep your distance just in case
I took an out-of-town friend on this tour. It was the first time I had ever been on the tour also. It was mostly enjoyable, but I think the tour guide had a few too many margaritas before starting the tour, which detracted from the experience.
I love SD PERIOD!! What's to dislike? Nada
Amazing train! Amazing workers! Amazing and must have stop for family's or anyone looking for some adventure.
Excellent tour, very fun, totally appreciated the resident discount.
Absolutely amazing and beautiful
Great tour. Captain and first mate were top notch. Friendly hosts. Scenery beautiful, water was friendly and with a nice breeze in s hot day. I highly recommend this tour
Great tour. Our tour guide was pleasantly entertaining and very knowledgeable.
Great way to get to know more about our beautiful city !
Great tour! Lasts about 90 min. There are blankets aboard if you get chilly. Capt George and 1st mate Tom were amazing tour guides. Had a great time
Great time for our whole family.
Great tour.
Fun tour of the city and bay. Had some trouble finding the place. You have to park and walk along the bay in order to find the ticket booth even on foot. But they were very accommodating when we asked to reschedule the tour since we couldn't find the place and missed our paid for scheduled time. When our boat broke down and we were stuck, Captain George worked quickly to keep us safe and get us back to land as quickly as possible. They offered a refund but we didn't take it. It was an adventure, hence the 4 stars.
It is a nice way to see some of the Down town area and the bay.
A decent experience. There were several sections missing commentary.
Good relaxing and educational tour of San Diego Bay. Very professional crew and amazing skills. The tour is on the north side of the bay which is the most interesting. Money worth.
The seals co operated w the tour!
It was beautiful
Very fun experience for the whole family.
Fun but it's short
If you’ve been on seal tours in other cities then this is not as good as you spend too much time in the water and there really isn’t much that’s interesting there. The trolley tour is much better as you get to see most of the city. With that said kids still love it and it was a good time.
Beautiful views and nice boutiques and shops.
Kids really liked it nice way to kill an hour and a half
the older gentleman that gives the tour is amazing!!!
Our tour guide was frank. Talk about a guy that knows and loves everything about San Diego. Our first time visiting the city and I wish I could move here. They even thought to have blankets for us because they knew we’d be cold. Perfect tour!
I love the tour you got to site see a little bit and you got to see sea lions even though they kind of smelly
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our tour guide, I believe his name was Frank, was funny and very informative. And our captain Danielle did a great job too.
I loved it. Something to surely see.
Our "captain" Daniel was a very nice guy. We had a blast on the tour... a bit expensive for locals like us.
This is a bus tour that can also go into the water. It's a lot of fun to do for torist or locals who have kids. Sit back enjoy the ride and see some of San Diego then go for a cruise through the bay. We really got to see some seals on the seal tour. It's a little pricey but worth it
The best
A great view
The San Diego seal tour was exhilarating, exciting and absolute FUN ! it was like a mini trip around San Diego, the weather was lovely that day, I remember feeling the ocean breeze. The conductor was great and entertaining and quite friendly as well. Is definitely say if its your first time to San Diego definitely do the tours and start off with the Seal tour. We got to see the seals up close (enough) and see how they live and a couple of dolphins. It was so amazing!! 5 stars!!
Super fun and cute trip! Great guides and funny!! Will do again!!!
Great experience! History of San Diego I''ve not heard plus how the Navy is using dolphins to protect our waters and much much more. The tour with friendly staff made everything super. Give it a go.
Fonzii and Devin were great guides and we had an excellent time. Worth doing if it's your first visit to San Diego!
Oh my gosh! First Mate Brett and Captain Diego were awesome!! The tour today was informative and funny!! I loved every minute of it and it was so relaxing to watch the other boats and sea lions in the San Diego Bay!! I highly recommend this tour...Keep your cameras ready folks!!
Fun tour in a unique multiple purpose vehicle that shows all of the unique aspects of the San Diego harbour as well as the wildlife. They were also very considerate about the weather and actually had blankets available for the passengers so they can stay warm in areas where the breeze could get cold. Overall it was a fantastic experience.
The tour is cute, they do cover some historical information which is interesting. It lasts about 1.5 hours and most of it is on the water. We saw lots of sea lions basking in the sun and some wild birds. They also hand out blankets and will go around taking your picture if you’re interested. Other than that, it’s a little pricey for what you get BUT if you’re from out of town and visiting San Diego for the first time, this would be a good experience
Such a fun experience! very informative on the history of the San Diego Bay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting or San Diego natives to enjoy.
Fun experience
Most fin had l a long time on a trolly...
Love this adventure!
Really had fun decided to go at last minute. Saw dolphins leading out a cruiseliner was amazing.
Really fun tour! The tour guide (Frank) was very knowledgeable and made us like San Diego even more. Got to see some seals and sea lions. Will note that you should probably bring a jacket as it is very windy and gets cold on the water.
I liked to smell the sea
This was a great out doors experience.. visit few new places in San Diego. Great view
Very interesting, and a lot of fun
This is a five star operation. I was there when the UPD authorized their operation on the Port District many years ago. They have operated safely. The voice tours are great. They are informative and fun.
I called for details on what we should do for a tour group that persons with special needs, and the operator was awesome. Then we arrived to the kiosl to myk and the women was rude and unprofessiona group, dont get me started on the nasty" Captain Steve" .who seemed to have a lack in patience for those who needed extra help with loading themselves up In the boat. The first mate Rudy saved the tour with his comedic skits during the tour, and it seems like the others attitude improved once I mentioned reporting our miss treatment to Yelp
Very fun
Great way to see the city in a lot of fun the only reason I give it a 4 * and not at 5 star rating is because the amenities aren't there. Such as food and drinks besides that I would definitely recommend taking this tour if you're visiting San Diego
We saw this option through old Town trolly. My family liked the idea of the amphibious vehicle that wasn't a WW2 duck boat. This modern vessel delivered a fun adventure on land and sea. Frank our guide was knowledgeable and funny (at one point looked exactly like Willie Nelson!).
A trip to SAN DIEGO isn't a trip without ridding the seal tour again we do it all the time lots of fun
Nice place to go with the family
What a great tour today. Ask for Captain George and 1st Mate Johnny.. super fun tour. Lots of humor. Lots of educational information. Lots of singing and dancing. I’m ready to go again with them.
The actual trip was good. The kids really enjoyed it. But the business side is terrible. The ad for trusted tours says guaranteed lowest price even after purchase. They did not honor their own ad. When I found it $10 cheaper per ticket. Their web site was hacked and my credit card was closed because the hacker tried to charge over $10000 on my card. I know it was trusted tours that was hacked because I was sent a letter about it. Tried to get a hold of their business office. But they never called back.
A fun and entertaining experience
Never been on that tour bus before, but that sounds fun
It was good. Saw alot of sea lions and some dolphins and some Navy ships & planes. It was very informative of San Diego History.
Great tour when the weather is good.
Good place to walk but not shop. Very pricy
The trip was great a lot of history they told and made it a fun ride, was my mother in laws first time she loved also, we will go back again
It was good experience recommend it for all ppl coming to san Diego
Interesting tour around San Diego Bay with points of interest described. Worth it for watch the seals!
Very enjoyable and informational tour. Well worth every penny. We were pleasantly surprised to sail past the new lateral ship, Navy SEAL training ships, and floating socks fill of seals. Then an F-18 took off right over our heads! Great alternative views of the city. We took tons of photos.
Great narrations and beautiful sceneries!
Very Fun!
The best tour I ever went to its amazing and the bus is amazing it looks like a seal this photo is from the guide becuse I forgot to take a photo of it
Tour the Harbor in Style, and have the cool Pics and experience with it. Not only is this vehicle cruising the streets but also the water too, like a boat, also get to learn alot of neat facts about the local military and surrounding areas. An experience like no other!! Definitely a must if in the Shelter Island area!!
It was fantastic. My little son really likes to go there one more time.
Cashier attendant was rude.
Our Captain, Fozii, and Claudia, our guide, gave us a wonderful amphibian experience. This is a very affordable value for touring San Diego Bay and seeing the Marine life.
My son loves that place. Very family oriented place and most importantly is very safe
Nice place to visit on a warmer day
This is a must do activity for any San Diego tourist! I loved it so much that I went again the same day and received an amazing discount. The guides are hilarious and extremely knowledgable about both seals and the entire San Diego area. The tour is 1.5 hours and you'll wish it was longer. The transition from land to sea is seamless and the sea lions are remarkable. We had the rare treat of seeing a live sea lion birth! Don't miss this one!
Awesome experience. Definitely an eye-opening tour of San Diego, Point Loma and Coronado island. Bret and Daniel were awesome.
Beautiful setting.
Brett was an excellent first mate. My wife and I had a lot of fun!
Very organized and fun
The crew was funny and informative.
Great tour, a must when coming to a San Diego. In fact, it’s a must weather you’re a resident or a visitor. The history and information is well worth the 90 minutes. Mike was our captain and Tom was our guide. Money well spent!
Didn't go on it
Great tour that allows your to explore land and sea. Guides diego and danny were very informative and fun. We saw some seals and birds. Great tour
It was a great tour of a part of San Diego.
Had a great time, knowledgeable and funny guide.
The guy was trying so hard to be funny...but he wasn’t lol, made me laugh how corny his jokes were. Very informational and fun to go in the water.
Very organized, great tour. Ty
If you come to San Diego this is a great tour. Add it too your list.
Captain George and 1st Mate Tom were great. Kids loved it. My wife hates boats and water, and even she enjoyed it. Tom was very informative as the guide and you can tell that he loves what he does.
