Amazing place. Well worth the $50 it costs.

My mom and I did the tour on September 11,2019 at 1:30pm and had Anthony B as our guide. He was phenomenal!! Very knowledgeable about the Canyon and area of Page, Arizona. After loading up into the very comfortable shuttle bus, it’s a short drive to the actual slot canyon. Once there, we walked into the canyon (which we were apprehensive about because my mother has some difficulties walking... she had absolutely no problems walking through the canyon at all!!!) and once inside we were in awe of its beauty!! Anthony B helped everyone in our group with taking pictures and which settings to use in order to capture the best pics. It was awesome!! Highly recommend!!

This tour was spectacular! The ride was in an air conditioned van with 14 people and 6 Van's in the tour. Each van had it's own guide. We had Irvin, and he was great. He was very informative and helped us get the right camera shot even down to our camera settings. The rocks are fabulous and even though there are many people moving thru the slot, there was plenty of time to enjoy the colors. I would highly recommend, and ask for Irvin!

HATED IT....We traveled from Connecticut to visit Grand Canyon and booked a package late March to visit both lower and upper antelope canyons. The registration was confirmed & payment was processed without any errors or warnings. We visited 'Upper Antelope tour by Cheif Tsosie' yesterday and at check in counter, I was told that my son cannot go on the tour (as per their so called Company Policy) as he was younger than 6 years. Although I paid for me and him, I had to stay with me AND wait in parking for 2 hours until my family completed the tour. During the tour, my family saw younger kid (less than 6 years). I went back to the office to ask the justification & to register a complaint (attached below). I was told that they go by whatever the parent tells about kid's age (I lost the opportunity to visit this just because I honestly said my kid is turning 5). Their judgement style was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I felt it VERY UNFAIR & felt like being cheated under the name of their corporate policy, as they rejected to issue refund. By the way, did I forget to mention, these staff needs to learn some basic manners to be polite & to apologies for the inconvenience. I will never ever take a trip with this. Here is the complaint I registered. (By now, it would be in their trash box I am sure).

The cathedral (coyote) canyon was fantastic, and our tour guide Tyler was amazing! This was a blast and i would do it again in a heart beat

Henry Tran

Great tour! Tour guide described each chamber of the canyon, the different formed shapes, and the history. She even helped each party of her tour photograph certain spots on their phones so that we got that perfect image. Our tour guide was scheduled for 3pm which we didn't the full overhead lighting as the 12pm tour slot, but still plenty of light to get beautiful shots. Our later time slot meant cooler temperatures and less people in a narrow pathway. Drive to/from the canyon = 20mins Walk through the canyon = ~40mins

Sherri Hildebrand

the slot canyon was awesome, our guide was fabulous, he showed us great picture shots through the whole canyon, but this is a business and there are TONS of people inside and they get you in and out!

David Widerhorn

Don't waste your time or money with this business. They care purely about your money and not about you as a customer, and take advantage of their Navajo laws to escape normal consumer policies that are everywhere else in the USA. I have done the Dixie Lower Antelope tour and it was beautiful with nice people who appreciated the business. These guys are totally insensitive. I called 24 hours before to let them know I had an emergency and could not make my travel plans. They told me that I would lose all of my money and I asked to talk to a manager who was not available. I called back the next day and the manager rudely told me that she has had to pay for hotels when her plans changed and didn't care about my emergency. I told her that it was not in my control and she said she could do a one time reschedule but I would have to give her an exact time and date today. I told her it wasn't reasonable because I can't reschedule a trip in the middle of an emergency and needed to call back later to reschedule. She acted like she didn't want to hear it and told me too bad - it was today or nothing. So I am supposed to not attend to an emergency that made me cancel my trip in order to plan an entire new trip and get an answer today. Ridiculous. I'm sorry Amber but as a business owner I know all about policies and I also know all about being a human being to your customers. I sure hope you never are in the same shoes that you put your customers in and I hope one day you grow up to not project your own resentments on your customers.

Great tour and tour guide.

Mohammed Anwar

This place is awesome, but the guide they provided us didn’t provide us with any information about this canyon. You better use some other company.

I did the combo tour Cathedral Canyon and Upper Antelope Canyon with Andy G. with Chief Tsosie’s Tours Thurs. Aug. 15. By doing the combo tour there were only 7 people in our group, which made it a very personal experience and we were in Antelope Canyon during the best time. The tours starts early Am with a tour of Cathedral Canyon and then a premium time tour of Antelope Canyon. Andy G. our guide added tremendous value to the tour. I consider myself to be a good amateur photographer. Andy knew all of the right spots from which to shoot pics in both canyons and showed us how to enhance our pics in Antelope Slot canyon. He also explained how the slot canyons form. Our group was in Cathedral Canyon all by ourselves riding in AC Ford Expedition over red rock sand dunes. I can’t say enough good things about the tours and Andy G.

Paul Mobley

Awesome tour, Anthony was our guide great setup for photos. Ford E350 Van's warm and comfortable drive to upper slot canyon.... back again soon!!!

Jon Fergenson

We took the Cathedral Canyon tour. Our guide, Nate, was friendly and knowledgeable. The Cathedral Canyon requires some moderate hiking skills and the drive through the desert to get there was bumpy. That was absolutely perfect for my group and we had a really great time! Someone looking for a gentler experience might prefer one of their other routes.

Richard Lee

The 6 of us enjoyed the tour very much. Special thanks to our guide Marisa since she knows a lot about photography and told us what settings to use on our cameras/phones. She helped each of the groups with her tour (14 people) to take group photos and pointed out the locations to take the photos, based on thr lighting. The enclosed bus is also a plus since the road leading up to the entrance was quite dusty.

Lynn Ventura

Unbelievably beautiful! Almost magical! Guide was excellent & very patient with us. Highly recommend!!

Nabarun Chakrabarty

Transportation to the canyon entrance from the pick up place is quite comfortable. The tour guides are very knowledgeable about the history of the canyon area. They also are very helpful in guiding people to take great photos, helping with best angles and shades. We took regular sightseeing tour to upper antelope canyon.

Francesca Bortoletto

Great experience! Arisa best guide ever♥️

Elijah Branson

Our experience with canyon slots tour was, frankly, a disappointment. We had booked the 6:30am tour and we were instructed to arrive at the latest by 6am to check in. We arrived 5:50am with numerous other tourists waiting at the door as they still were not there and the office was closed. One of the workers arrived at around 5:57am only to not acknowledge the many people waiting outside and went into the office. A few minutes have passed and around 6:10am we entered the office only to be rudely kicked out by the worker saying “I need a few minutes, come back later,” and as we were waiting outside we all parked our cars in front of the office and another worker came in and without greeting us whatsoever, she said to the group very loudly and rudely, “these spots are fifteen minute parking spots only, move your cars to the side.” The tour itself was okay, I should note that even though you book the tour of the canyon for an hour, the tour itself is only around 20 minutes whereas the rest of the time is spent traveling to and from the canyon. Overall, I feel that, for the amount we paid them for tour, I would expect friendlier staff and a more welcoming environment.

Noelle Barnes

We took the Sightseers’s tour through Upper Antelope with Debbie as our guide. She was knowledgeable and thorough and helped us set our phone settings to get the most out of our canyon photos. She also showed us the best places to get pictures and took pictures of us and for us. The canyon itself is gorgeous and definitely a must-see. You meet your guide in the town and they drive you on a nice heated van over to the canyon, and also take you back after you’re done. Upper Canyon is above ground, so you can just walk right in, and it’s easy to navigate through. Loved my experience!

Linda Berg

I loved this tour. Will do the other canyon next year.

Leo Klevens

Small tours, only 14 people. at a time. Great guide, took the best pictures I have ever taken.

Chris Bridges

We had a good experience and would use them again. However different tour groups go to different locations. If you do the upper canyon you can’t go wrong with this one but they also have other tour packages that I did not use so I can’t speak to those knowledgeably.

Kyle Slaugh

Best guided tour of the canyon!

Limin Cai

Due the rain shower ,my original lower antelope tour was cancelled. I didn't book the upper antelope tour because it was fully booked already. I came to the tour company to see if I can get a chance to join the tour, and I got it!! The tour was very well organized, our tour guy also gave us a lot of useful information. Our family were all very satisfied with the trip!

Tyler Lein

Absolutely stunning. Our guide was awesome too and helped us find great photo opportunities. Definitely recommended.

Anthony Kupelian

September 11, 2019 - we took the 6:30 a.m. tour and we’re the first tour in today! Our tour guide was Erwin and he was great! Being the first tour of the day, he had plenty of time to devote to us. He gave us photo tips including camera settings on our phones to let in more light so our photos looked great! He also showed us the best spots to take pictures. I was not excited about the tour time, but it turned out to be fantastic without being rushed through. The air conditioned very new vans are great! It seems like all of the other tours had people jammed into the back of pickup trucks on benches. The dusty ride in would have been brutal! Without a doubt, this tour company is the way to go!!!

Denis Rolain

Our boat captain and tour guide were excellent. Amazing sites.

Marjolein Restiau

Sóóó beautiful! OMG! We cannot describe in words! You have to see this natural wonder. Many, many ThanX to our very friendly and assisting tour operator on july 18th Antelope tour at 16:45 pm at number 4 jeep. I forgot his name...was it Nate??? ThanX Nate! Greetzz from the Netherlands ;-) ps the photos were awesome!

Jason Claiborne

Our truck was fine, little warm out on the way home but still so worth it. Our guide was a blast funny and helpful. he helped us get the best shots and would take pictures for you and set your cell phone up for the best shots they have to offer. Would be 4.5 stars little high on prcie and CC machine was down so had to go next door for beverages.

Jason Stiles

Amazing experience anyone can enjoy. Guides are full of knowledge and very helpful, assisting with photos, all while keeping track of wandering adults. Worth every penny

Kaitlyn Stokey

We had a really good time. Went on the early bird tour (630 am) and for me personally I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. It felt exclusive and even though we missed the cool light beams the canyon is still beautiful. Our tour guide was a really nice guy I think his name was Anthony but he was very knowledgeable and helped us get really cool pictures. He explained that the canyon requires tours because of flash flooding and the tour guides can help get people out of the canyon safely in the event of rain. I think that’s important to remember for those complaining about requiring tours. We were the only company out there that early with only two groups, ours was 6 people and another group of closer to 10. On our way out it started to get busier and there were more and larger groups coming in which I could see getting frustrating in such small areas. Great experience over all!

Run runrun Monroe

Unique sandstone stot canyon clearly a natural wonderful work of awesome art.

Michael Colvin

Worst experience eve! Booked tour well over a month in advance explained that my wife only has 5% of her vision and we would be bringing her Seeing Eye Dog. Drive all the way to Page spend the night, get up at 6am drive here, check in with her dog present, then about 10 mins later they come out in the parking lot and tell us we can’t go? Worst experience ever and my compassion for Native Americans has been greatly reduced when they are allowed to choose if they want to follow ADA guidelines. Will never give any of my $$ to anything Native American! Her dream to experience this before completely losing her vision ruined and they say sorry!

Helena Chong

Had a great experience on our tour guided by Anthony G. Gave us a little history of the place and how the canyon formed. Also, the tour bus is air-conditioned, which was very nice to have in the 100 degree heat. Highly recommend touring with them.

Miachel Lawson

Out your guide, Leonard, was absolutely wonderful. VERY knowledgeable and an expert with camera's. Plus, he's a darn good flute player. Loved his music.

Katie Dunn

It was super easy to book a tour and to check in. The shuttles were nice and air conditioned. We did the 6:30am tour of upper antelope canyon which was nice because there werent too many people trekking through the canyon or getting in our way. Our tour guide knew the perfect spots and angles to take pictures and told us some history and stories of the canyon. The canyon is a bit dark in some areas during this time but still beautiful.

Fanda McKinney

This was the most beautiful and photographic place I have ever seen!! The tour guide was amazing, extremely knowledgeable, helpful and passionate about her job!

Ana Sh

We paid a whole lot of money for being rushed all the time. Didn’t have a chance to take photos of us in the canyon. Too crowded and rushed.

Michelle Jordan

Had the good fortune to be with Anthony’s group this morning for the Cathedral Canyon and Antelope Slot Canyon tour. The views are stunning! Anthony was able to educate us on everything from the native people and their culture to the plants in the area. He is also a well rounded photographer and was able to assist with camera settings. Heated/air conditioned vehicles carry you comfortably to the canyon. In addition, he was well versed on the geology in the area. Even had demonstrations available to help you understand how the rocks & canyons were formed. We truly had a blast today! I highly recommend this tour company and Anthony.

Kenneth Eng

One hour tour , not cheap, lots of imagination about the shapes. Ones in the life time.

Lori Scarlett

We went on the first tour of the day and our tour guide Nate did an amazing job. He helped with cameras and educated us on the origins and history of the slot canyon. This is a must do- you will love it!

Claudia Lawson

Canyon tour was the highlight of our trip. Great photography opportunities! Important to make reservations several months in advance.

roxana gradinaru

My parents and I had such great experience with this company, very pleasant tour and out guide, Urban was excellent, he even offered us tips on how to take best pictures of the canyon. AMAZING

Lee Miller

We had the very best time with LELAND as our tour guide. He took the most beautiful pictures of my man and me in the canyon and was such a nice man to all the others on the bus. He made my birthday weekend!!!

Keli von Harz

Amazing Tour Company! Awesome guide, Leonard! Highly recommend!

Siyu Ren

1, More expensive than other Upper Antelope Tours; 2, My tour guide is completely untrained and unprofessional: while other tour guides in the Canyon were telling different stories about the Canyon to their group, our tour guide was almost silent and the only time you could hear him speak was when he was chatting with and taking photos for three beautiful ladies in the group. 3, Photos were pretty - but the tour was boring

Daniel Guerriero

My wife and I had an amazing time on this tour! The staff and the guides were great. Our guide Sandra really went out of her way to help us get really great photos. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed. Do make reservations in advance. This tour is very popular and can be really busy.

Gloria Wenstrand

We had an incredible tour with Erwin. He showed us the best picture shots and even took some for us. When we came out of the canyon he played his flute for us. This company is great to do business with. We'll use them again next time.

Chien-Yu Wang

I’ll say this is the best. Nice car awesome people

Alan .

Great experience and super friendly guide. Highly recommended!

Stefano Felli

You get to the canyon, probably a 5 minutes walk that lasts an hour due to the crowd and the photo stops. All guides do is setting you camera to get better photos. If what you are interested in is being told what to shoot and how to shoot it, wait in line and receive no explanation about the place than it is perfect. If not I would avoid it.

Brett D

Professional and fast moving, perfect for photos and a little history. Was not too crowded and tour guide was very knowledgeable

Casey Cockerham

Nate was a great guide by Chief Tsosie for the Upper Antelope Canyon today. He was very informative of the history, friendly and great photographer throughout the tour. He showed us the right position to capture all the shots and took great photos for us. Highly recommend a tour by him.

Xinyu Yuan

Awesome tour! Our guide knows how to take amazing photos and he helped us taking a lot!

Sheila Elstro

Such a great experience! We had Bryce as our tour guide and he was awesome! Very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting info with us. Took pics of each individual group that he was guiding (there were 14 of us in his group). And so thankful for the ENCLOSED air conditioned buses that we were transported in. Highly recommend!

Geoffrey Vera

Do it! It was a great experience! Our tour guide was Lenard, he was informative, funny, and helped us get the best photos. He was passionate on what he did and the environment.

Brian Kubala

Incredible views and experience. We were lucky enough to be the only ones on our tour of the Cathedral (Yanni) Canyon, and Tyler was very knowledgeable and personable. He made the experience even better with his knowledge of the area and geography. He also took photos of us with our phones. Wonderful experience, don't pass this one up.

Melissa Heselton

Awesome!! I would definitely take a tour with them again. Shuttles were air conditioned with comfortable seating. Other tours had open air seats in the beds of trucks. They had to be hot with sand in their eyes. Our tour guide was great!! He showed us all the best places for photos. Wonderful tour!!

Diana Belcher

Not sure this is the one but if so great team of guided it was grest

John Mainiero

Great time for kids and adults

Of the four available tour operators, We did the tour with Chief Tsosie Tours (Antelope Slot Canyon Tours). I would highly recommend that, because: as there is not much to tell about the canyon itself, the guides specialize in helping you with photos. All guides who were at the canyon took similar pictures. Some guides take the pictures for you, some help you with taking the picture itself. The reason I would always recommend Tsosie is the mean of transportation. All tours start in Page and it takes about a 15 minute ride to the canyon. Chief Tsosie uses normal vans, which can fit 15 People. At least two other operators use trucks for transportation and the tourists sit basically on the back of the truck in the best case covered up by a stout canvas , I suppose this means no air conditioning and poor shelter in case of rain.

Sanjay Gupta

Would recommend this tour I booked my 10:30 AM tour with Antelope Slot canyon tours. Antelope is protected by tribes (Navajo) and diff group of Navajo people operates tours as they found the canyons on their land. Book your tour in advance. Their office is right in downtown. At least 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled tour time start, park and check-in at their South Lake Powell Blvd headquarters, which has restrooms, and sells water and various souvenirs. After that van will take you to the rocks. Reception lady was very busy despite it was only winter. I went there in Feb and it was a bit chilly weather. Drive to rocks was covered in snow and our vehicle was kinda slipping. Tour operator said, wear layers cause it gonna be 15 degrees less down there. She was right. It was very cold ( and at places dark too) inside the rocks. Prime time is 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM when chances to spot sun beam is higher. They charge more of this time slot. Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons, just outside Page, Arizona, are the most visited of many narrow slot canyons carved into hard American Southwest sandstone by years of drought/flood cycles. Upper Antelope Canyon is more popular for two reasons. First, its entrance and entire length are at ground level, requiring no climbing. Second, beams or shafts of direct sunlight radiating down from openings at the top of the canyon are much more common in Upper than in Lower. Our group had 14 people. Inside the rocks, the guide will point out certain rock formations where it looks like Abraham Lincoln, a heart, or a flame when the light reflects on it. They’ll also let you know which filter to use on iPhone/Android to make pics more beautiful. At diff spots they’ll tell you how to take photos of rocks at the defined angle. And he was damn right. He’ll tell you stories from past about various things and stuff present in antelope. One thing is for sure, whatever picture you see on the internet is damn full of Photoshop. It's very dark inside and even you get the right picture you won't get the desired result. You have to edit it to satisfy your desire of good antelope photo. Also antelope gets crowded, so while coming back, the guide will ask you not to take photos. So take photos when you are going in. But again, guide will rush you, so either listen to guide, their stories or take your photos. Avoid this in rainy season. Flash flood can be very dangerous Amazing experience. No doubt about it. Only thing. Wasn’t $60 for 1 hr trip is a bit much?

LA Rohs

What an experience. Our guide was Native American and was so knowledgeable. The beauty of the canyon was more than pictures can take. Stunning is all I can say.

Buffi Robinson

A most breathtaking place! There are no words to accurately describe the beauty of this place. Our tour guide, Nate, was wonderful. So knowledgable and took great care to make sure we got the most beautiful photos. He told us the correct settings to ensure the best photos and even "borrowed" our cameras a couple times to get some fantastic shots!

Bonnie Comly

This is simply a natural wonder. Beautiful pics everywhere you turn. Chief Tsosie has the best vehicles - air conditioned buses instead of open air trucks.

Akanksha Singh

We visited canyon on a long weekend and every other tour service was booked but This particular canyon tour saved the day and managed to get seats for us.The tour guide was knowledgeable and good.I recommend their service for Grand canyon tour

Dustin Nelson

Tour Guide was fantastic. Helped take good photos for you on the Scenic Tour. Nice air conditioned shuttle vehicles. No complaints!

Qianling Lu

We had a very good experience with a guide name Nate. He is friendly and knows where we can shoot the best photons! We took dozens of nice photos without a digital camera! The view is amazing.

Paul Halford

Took the Upper Slot Canyon Tour with our driver Nate. We had an excellent experience. He was informative about slot canyon, took all my pictures for me so that I would have incredible and perfect photos. He was attentive to all of us on his tour. Of all the other tour groups we met in the slot canyon I feel that we made the best choice with Chief Tsosie tours and having Nate as our guide. Would highly recommend this tour group.

U'ilani Meskell

A must do! I wish it was longer and less crowded. Felt rushed a bit however I would go again. Breath taking! My friend could stop crying over such natural beauty. Pictures aren't even half of the experience

Rach L Robinson

Ala was an amazing guide. Very conscious of all her groups safety and helped us take amazing photos!

Anna Gargioni

f you have not seen the Antelope Upper Canyon, you have missed out. This place is amazing (even if you miss the famous light beans) The tour guide will drive your group to the entrance of the Canyon and guide you through it and also help you take the best pictures from various areas. You have to be prepared though, there is sand coming from the top so if you look up you better wear some eye protection and it can get windy and dusty. The only issue I have with it is that these Canyons are really busy so there are a lot of people in a little confined space. There are tours behind you, tours coming back and photography tours. Other than that, it's truly an amazing place that is worth visiting. Book in advance, everything sells out. A must see.

Wanda Chapman

8/23 6am tour with Leonard, he is the best tour guide I have encountered anywhere. Leonard is knowledgeable and impressed me whe, he greeted the french, speaking french and the the same with the Asian couple on our tour. Leonard's flute playing is so soothing, I felt like God controlled the breath needed to make such beautiful music

Mandy May

Loved it? It's so amazing and our tour guide was super nice

Lauraleeangella Mills

Loved it. Got on the 10:30 tour. Lighting was outstanding. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Page, AZ. Made my whole trip worth it!

Max Faust

This is a must see and should be in everyone’s bucket list. Not allowed without native tour guide. We went a five PM and it was beautiful!!! It’s about 200 meters long. Our guide was awesome and took lots of pictures for us with our phone. Two hours from the south rim of Grand Canyon. Check out lake Powel before your tour.

Pete Stevenson

Very interesting canyon. Our Navajo guide was great - he took the time to show us different sites and then took pictures with our cameras to insure good shots.

Alejandra Barrientos

We had so much fun on our tour!! Leonard was our tour guide, and he was great. He made sure to stop along the way and take pictures as well as share the history behind the logs found in the canyon. At the end of our tour, he shared a musical tidbit with us!! We did the 3:00 PM tour and while it was hot outside the cool sand inside of the canyon made for a great experience. Thank you so much for sharing your time and land with us!

Pat Baird

Fabulous!!! ***** five star experience, our tour guide was awesome, she shared "secrets" - things you wouldn't know to look for without her. Chief Tsosie (?) Tours out of Page, you want the tour of the canyon made famous by National Geographic

the Tanner cowboy

Been twice and great both times. Love these guys!!

BradJill Travels

We visited the Upper Antelope Canyon with Antelope Slot Canyon Tours by Chief Tsosie ($50 per visitor + $8 Navajo Park Permit) during spring 2017 and found them to be a sufficient tour operator for this popular activity in Page, Arizona. They have what felt like a good process of visits to the canyon. You meet up at their centre on Lake Powell Blvd. to check in. There, you are able to witness a Native American dance prior to be loaded up with 60-70 other guests in blue pickup trucks which are driven out to the canyon. Tour guides escort small groups of 10-12 each through the canyon. The walk takes approximately 60 minutes from start to finish, add an additional 10-15 minutes drive time to/from the canyons for total time spent on this activity. It seems tours run on the hour so you've plenty of opportunity to reserve place and visit. Our tour guide walked in front and did well to manage our group through the canyon and crowds. No information regarding geology, nature or wildlife was shared during our tour which we found to be somewhat surprisingly and perhaps disappointing. However, he did show us a couple famous spots for good photographs. The crowds encountered during our visit was surprising. It felt like the tour companies were herding too many visitors in and out of Upper Antelope Canyon. It was shoulder to shoulder through most of our walk. Regardless, the geology, canyon shapes and general scenery are simple incredible and have a way of helping you forget about the heavy crowds encountered. Overall, we were concerned about environmental toll of allowing so many visitors in and out of the Antelope slot canyons each day but we really enjoyed our time there. This dramatic land formation is stunningly beautiful and great for photography. Visitors will long remember their time spent walking through the Upper Antelope Canyon. Lastly, Antelope Slot Canyon Tours by Chief Tsosie seemed like an sufficient operator for visits to the Upper section of the canyon. Less informative than the Dixie Ellis tour operator we used to visit the Lower section of the Antelope Canyon, we found no reason to avoid booking slot canyon visits with this company.

Christy Wawrzynowicz

The tour was amazing!! The swirls in these canyons carved out by water leave such beauty. It truly is a sight you have to see. Be aware that many people sign up for these tours. You will need to exercise patience because the slot canyon is narrow and people are passing both ways, taking pics etc. The guides do a great job of keeping people together and on pace so everyone can enjoy this sacred ground. Our Native American guide Erwin knew all of the history, gave us photo tips, and showed us all the great shooting spots. He also adds in a special surprise for his tours at the end!! Thanks Erwin. : ) Oh and this tour company has closed vehicles (see pics) so you don’t eat a lot of desert sand on the drive out to the canyon like other tour companies.

Christine Nguyen

With the snow/inclement weather in Flagstaff, we were not able to make it to our tour, but we were about to reschedule it. Tour was a quick ride to and from. We spent an hour walking and snapping photos. Irwin/Erwin, our Navajo tour guide was very insightful with photo taking. He was very patient with helping us take the best photos. He was right with he said we will at least get back one good shot of the Canyon. He was gracious enough to play us a tune before we headed back. Highly recommended this your company.

Bryan Good

Amazing tour. Our guide Anthony was amazing and showed us how to take just the right picture. New enclosed trucks (which was nice in winter). Highly recommended!

Eric McKinley

This tour was well worth the money and time. The guides were fun and very organized. They knew where to take good photos and what the ideal settings were. Upper antelope canyon is a unique opportunity that is a must do at least once. It is extremely popular, so expect crowds. However, the guides did a great job at keeping people spread out in groups. I didnt feel like I couldn't get any photos due to people. The only wish I have is I want to go back and do the photography tour so I can bring a tripod.

Evan Shuster

The Antelope canyon is an incredible location in itself. The tour however is extremely rushed and crowded. It for sure ruined the experience for us and the magic behind this great place. If you want to see a slot canyon that is quite similar but not rushed and much more quiet, visit secret canyon (we did both). You won’t be missing much.

Allen Dela Cruz

Super easy business to reserve tours and easier communicate if you need to change things around. Would highly recommend!

Thom L

Super informative and interactive tour with even tutorials for your iphone and android phones for optimum light capturing and one gets to know the best camera angle shots of the aweinspiring curvatures carved walls by the flowing sands of time. Also they are first tour group into the canyon that beats the crowd!

Chrissy Brown

I did two tours today (7/15/19) with this company. The first tour was at 830am of the upper antelope canyon, supposedly not the best time. However, my group got some amazing pictures. the tour guides like to take your phone/camera and take pictures for you. Let them, they take the best pictures and know what they are doing!! Let's back up to the drive out to the canyon, you are in a little bus thing that is completely covered with air conditioned..why is this important.... because the other vehicles I saw were pick up trucks that was open on the sides. It was hot and dry, dust was going everywhere! This is a short tour that is very busy. There are several other little buses and tour companies there at the same time. I did not feel rushed but the tour guide did move you along. This is not personalized. If that's what you want, this isn't the tour for you. It met my requirements and then some l. Anthony was my tour guide and he was amazing! The tour guides assit you with the filters on your phone/camera, stay close to them and listen. Would totally recommend this company!

Leta Heinle

A+ a definite must. They are great.

Dennis Lewis

Very nice tour, a comfortable air conditioned mini bus takes you to the entrance. The driver & guide was informative and a keen photo guide. You spend around 1 hour in the canyon.

Yesica Antenen-Ziegler

Went on the Cathedral Tour with the best tour guide: Tyler! Sooo worth it. An amazing and unique experience!

Sharon Lundholm

They have the best transportation to the canyon. Brand new comfy shuttle busses, not seats in the back of a pick up. The canyon road is quite bumpy and I'm glad we weren't in the back of a pick up! Be sure to make reservations. Their wait list system helped us know that an earlier time spot opened up and we were able to change our reservation. Anthony was our driver and tour guide and he was very professional and helpful. He helped everyone get the correct photo settings on their phone cameras and gave great pointers for taking great pictures (stay in the shadow of the rocks when you click and try to keep the sky out of the picture). It became easier to just hand our phones to him to take the exact best photo in certain spots and he was happy to do it. Be prepared if it's a windy day, the sand rains down inside the canyon. Bring a bandana and either wear glasses or goggles (one tour guide wore clear ski goggles). I wish I had some on our windy day, it was hard to look up with the sand pouring in, but I also got some cool pictures. A very good overall experience.

We chose the 10:30am tour, it is very crowded but they do what they can to make it enjoyable. Our tour guide, Erwin, was super knowledge and showed us the best angles to take each shot. There were great sun beams and colors at this time.

Rory Kelley

It was really great! Leonard was our tour guide and he was fantastic. He showed us all of the best places to take pictures and was very knowledgeable. At the end he even played his wooden flute for us! I would highly recommend going on the tour if you are ever in the area!

Ron Battista

Well organised and knowledgeable guides who do a great job assisting with your photography.

Ori Vinokur

Great views Great organization Great guide rhat helped to get excelent puctures

David Green

Great tour with Anthony G.

Dylan LeSage

Great busses into the canyon. Our driver and guide Anthony G. was informative and entertaining. The canyons can get a little tight with all the people, but still an incredible experience.

Divya G. Nath

Must go tour! A wonderful experience...

Sandra Michael

The tour of the canyon was amazing. Our guide Nat was truly engaged in showing us the special points and gave great information along the way. He even took the time to take pictures for everyone of some of the most beautiful spots. The bus was super comfy to ride to the canyon. Highly recommend!

Richard Burgess

Stunning sight. Anthony was a great guide!

jan vandermeer

Breathtaking views and a well guided tour by a very knowledgeable and helpful lady. Worthwhile the time and money.

Lisa V

Great tour guides. Beautiful. Definitely need to go early in day for best light.

Ms Jay

Antelope is amazing place to visit. When you walked inside it unreal and like magic cave. However, the place was quite small + super popular, you cannot pay a visit by yourself. It's tours only - cost about $60-80 for 1-1.5 hr. It crowded and lot of sand falling in the cave. You will have very little chance to take a good pictures as it dark, limitation with time and space and tour condition (not allow to leave group or individual picture/ no video/ not allow any kind of bags doesn't matter how small it is/ no selfie stick) Guide will guide you how to set up the phone setting on the way, listen very carefully because it very important!

SANDRA V

Such an amazing place. I’ll do it again for sure

Tice T

Cool canyon, tour is fast paced and quick, have your camera on right settings before entering canyon, they have comfortable new vehicles to ride to and from the canyon.

Brian Llanos

Had a great experience with this tour company. Staff at the reception was courteous and professional. Aside from the actual slot canyon, the other highlight was our tour guide. Leonard was awesome! I somewhat think he's a part-time professional photographer with his crazy knowledge of taking photos in low light situations. Leonard was also a great guide and very knowledgeable of the history and nuances of the slot canyon. Definitely something you should check out!

Deb Bacorn

Fabulous tour with breathtaking views. Nate was our guide and he was phenomenal. Helped the group with pictures and happily took family shots.

Tammy Howard

Absolutely gorgeous! The truck ride to the canyon was bumpy, but it was fun. Views, photos and information from tour guides were nothing short of AMAZING!

Jake Lyon

We had an excellent tour with a fun, helpful man named Anthony. He went above and beyond to help us get good photos and help us appreciate the beauty. The only bad thing is the rough ride there and back, but it was well worth it and was not the fault of our driver. I would absolutely reccomend to anyone who has not been to the canyon yet.

Diane Askin

Spectacular. Be sure to book in advance. Midday is nice due to the height of the sun. Here's my photo of 'The Eye of the Dragon'

kay dillon

if you are lucky enough to have Anthony B as your guide this will be among the best places on earth to discover!

stephanie hunziker

Great canyon but TOO many people and for an 1.5h tour definitely too expensive. We were disappointed after the tour. You were under time pressure to walk through the canyon and it was just all about getting great pictures.

Stephanie Jugovich

You need to take this tour!!! My husband booked the tour a couple days in advance via telephone after chatting with someone at a National Park. The gal had raved about her tour, so we decided to try it. Boy, am I glad we did! We arrived 30 minuets early, which was more than enough time. They loaded us up in the back of the trucks and away we went. It was a little hot and dusty in the truck, but the ride to the canyon wasn’t long. Earnest was our guide and he was fantastic! Before we started our tour, he talked with us about respect and touched on the Native beliefs about the canyons and the land. We had 12 people in our little group. Earnest showed us so many cool angles and camera settings on our phones to get the best photos. He even took photos for us! At the end of the tour, the Chief played the triple flute. It was beautiful. The whole tour was fantastic. I’d highly recommend these guys! You won’t be disappointed.

Ken M

Waste of money now that they triple over charge with the tour companies. Purchase a photograph instead and the tour companies will RIP you a new one and make you wait much too long. Read the other poor reviews. When you get there it is cattle through a chute.

Julie J

My family and I took the 10:30am tour with Erwin and he was amazing! Not only did he give everyone helpful tips for taking photos at the beginning (set your phone camera to daylight setting, wipe off camera lens etc), but he helped me get the right settings for my DSLR camera so I didn't have to worry about messing with it while I was trying to focus on the canyon. Erwin also did not rush us at all, just every now and then encouraged us to stay together as a group, unlike another tour group guide when we left who literally yelled at us to get out of the canyon. After reading previous reviews, I don't know if the lady was with this company or not but it seems like most of the guys are good tour guides. 10:30 tour was great to see the sun beams!

Crystal Amo

Amazing... Wasn't sure the 6am tour was a great decision, but it was! Small group, noone else was in the canyon. Absolutely an amazing experience. Tyler, our guide was fantastic... Pointing out the spots for the perfect pics, helping even taking some for us. He would do pics of you in spots. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Prabhasa Kalkur

Not the best sightseeing service, I'd say. Definitely not worth the money. Our guide wasted an hour showing us faces of Presidents. In a natural canyon structure. And some people ACTUALLY bought it. Best visited in summer, as the light gives you great photos to live by.

Jackie

Excellent tour! I had read that the 11am time was the best light and was worried because we could only get spots at the 830am tour. However I thought this time was still excellent and we got some wonderful photos. Guide was very experienced and helped people take photos to make sure everyone left with at least a few decent shots.

Shy Nest

One of the coolest things to experience on this earth. Had a great tour guide who had a great personality.

Patrick K

Excellent guiding. Leland did a great job highlighting areas, taking perfect shots, and explaining the canyon's history and formation. I really liked the online system to easily reschedule when our travel changed. Highly recommend.

Richard J. Rodriguez-Toro

special attention to customers, they sure know where to find the right place to take a fantastic picture

Ken

We enjoyed our tour. Everybody was very friendly and our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the canyon and the land. Helped us with pictures and answered all our questions. They do keep you moving, when they say a certain tine, they mean it. If they tell you to load up at 11, you better be there and ready to load at 11. The canyon is tight and with a lot of people there from other tours you do and have to stop to wait for people to pass so you can get through.

Paulina Preciado

They "lost" our registration (which we made 3 months in advance). We asked them to search the records for our reservation number and the lady behind the counter argued that she did not have and internet connection, which was false. When asked to perform a system search, she replied: "I am doing it with my eyes" without even scrolling down . She was rude and passive aggressive. We travelled from far away to visit Antelope Canyon and almost missed our tour. The tour was nice, but incredibly crowded.

Carl Henderson

Our tour guide was very very good gave us lots of pointers on pictures we had an excellent time

Sandra Mautner

Thought was all Native American items. Be careful some from China. Disappointed

Jennifer Reed

This is a great tour and the tour company runs it top notch, from the nicely appointed waiting area to the vehicles that take you into the canyon, to the knowledgable tour guide. Once there the canyon speaks for itself and you'll get some awesome pictures. This one is much easier to navigate than lower canyon, but you get spectacular pictures there too. We did both and are so glad we did!

Stefan Passer

Great guide and amazing tour through the Upper Antelope Canyons.

Robert Wright

Great tour guide for Antelope Canyon. The most comfortable transportation of all the tour operators.

Flemming Elleboe

The place is spectacular, the patterns and curves and light are beyond explanation, simply have to see to believe. Only complain is that there are so many people that it can be rather cramped. The guide was very helpful with getting the white balance on the camera and phones setup correctly and also took some spectacular pictures for us since he knew some of the key places to do that.

natasha lockwood

Excellent experience. We did the 6:30 am tour which was great because it was less crowded. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, and helped us take fantastic pictures.

Paul Williams

This tour was worth every penny! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very helpful to point out photo opportunities and explain how the slot canyons were formed.

Anyen Chen

Wish the experience were more enjoyable but this tour group does what it can. We had a knowledgeable tour guide who gave us helpful tips to get nice pictures, but we were rushed and pushed and shoved the whole time that we couldn’t enjoy ourselves in the canyon. Oh well. At least we’ve got some nice pictures. I’d recommend coming during the 10:30 tour which is when the sunbeams hit just right into the canyon, but maybe during a month that’s not in such high demand.

Deni Oli

What a nice experience! Anthony was our tour guide and he was very informative and attentive. Anthony even guided us with our cellphones to take beautiful shots and which modes to have them set in. Our tour was at 8:30 a.m (less crowded), and we still had pretty lighting! If you take the tour, ask for Anthony.

Jaci Willis

Nate was our tour guide and I really can’t say enough good things about him. He was a gentle spirit with so much knowledge about the land, vegiation, geology, canyons, animals, the Navajo Tribe, just everything. He was amazing. It was just us and the tour guide. It was quiet, beautiful and an experience to remember. He took pictures of us, set up our cameras for optimal canyon shots and he stopped many places along the route to take pictures for us. If you are looking for a sweet memory take the tour and ask for Nate to be your guide!

Rixon Monteiro

Definitely expensive but our guide was just super amazing. He was a local and been doing it for years. Knew every crevice, was a great photographer and played a triple flute at the end! The canyon itself was nature's wonder!

Andrea Nolker

Although the tour company didn't accommodate a reschedule unless it was for next day do to the main road being closed and advised us to take an alternate route 190 extra miles in rainy weather out of the way. Many other tours were canceled and rescheduled to our upper antelope tour which made tour impersonal and extremely crowded. The tour jeep was opened during the rain making it at and muddy. The tour guide was extremely awesome and made the tour worth it and helped get the best photos and told canyons history. Would love to go back but will use a more customer service friendly company.

Jeff Malone

If you use their website, for instance in our case, a boat tour of Antelope Canyon, to book a tour, Antelope Slot Canyon Tours does not offer boat tours. The company does not inform you that they are a 3rd party booking on another company, they do not inform you that they don't do boat tours, they don't inform you that they levy a 60% fee on top of the cost of the 1 hour boat tour. The boat tour was $30, we and others in line had paid $48 each per adult through this company, a 60 % ticketing fee. The boat tour company said this was happening frequently. I emailed Antelope Slot Canyon Tours and as of today I have not heard back. Beware of this on their website. We are fully willing to pay a fee for a service, 60% is dishonest and their website is deceiving in regard to this tour.

Flora Previl

I booked a tour with my brother. We were told to check it at 12:30pm and we arrived on time. We were assigned to jeep #7 and were told to board at 12:45pm. A big bus group came around time. We boarded bus # 7 which containers some of the bus group. Then we were told by the lady who checked us in that we would have to ride in seperately jeeps because the bus group brought more than the amount they cited in their reservation. I told them I didn’t want to be separated from my brother. She told me “I’m sorry, but this is our high end client.” Uhm I’m sorry, but what is that suppose to mean? I was so offended! Your “high end client” should have given you the right number in the bus group. This company made me feel inferior as if I didn’t pay the same money for the same tour. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Ilka S

Just beautiful! An unforgettable experience

caryn schwartz

I went on the Upper Antelope Canyon tour with Brice as our guide. It was an incredible experience... just being in that canyon was amazing, but it also helped that Brice was knowledgeable, patient and happy to take pictures of us! Being from the East Coast, my entire trip was based around this one tour (it’s hard to get) but it was so worth it! I was on the 1pm tour and there were sun beams even though it was a cloudy day. Amazing day and very organized!

Marlene Vickery

This tour was...incredible!!! Our tour guide Leland was so resourceful and talented at taking great shots with the tourists' phones and he also took photos of us. The sites in the canyon are amazing!!!

Robin Rickman

Nate did a great job; very knowledgeable, and very skilled at keeping the group together. The beauty of the canyon in the evening is tremendous. Unfortunately, there are SO MANY PEOPLE from SO MANY DIFFERENT TOUR COMPANIES touring the canyon that it almost felt like herding cattle! It was packed inside the narrow canyon! I mean to the point of almost always bumping into the person next to you. This canyon is one-way into the canyon (about 500 yards) to come out the top end, and then turning around and returning the same way you came in. This in effect causes an almost steady stream of people going in two directions throughout the entire canyon tour. If not for the tour guides who are pretty keen on stopping the flow of traffic at times, photos would be almost impossible to get. To keep the people moving on schedule, tour guides have to actually take the pictures for you! Recommendation to Ken's: Have your tour guides provide a narration of the creation of the canyon on the long ride from downtown to the canyon and on the return trip, provide a narrative on the Navajo Nation. This would be much more useful than having the guides trying to do the same in the canyon.

Bonnie Barger

Spectacular! It was everything we imagined and more. Our tour guide was amazing. She spoke Navajo, Japanese and English. Great experience.

Amit Srivastava

We took the tour company for the Upper Antelope canyon on a Sunday in March (off season) and were on a photographers tour. Our tour guide Nate was very helpful in getting the setting right, showing us exactly what to take picture of and also managing the crowd so we can take pictures. While he was able to give us about 2 minutes (and some) per spot, it felt a little rushed. Nate was also helpful in taking some shots if needed. Our group was small (3, typically 6 in peak season) so that was very helpful as there was room for us to take picture. The total photo tour was around 2.5 hours (including about 45 minutes of driving time)

Angela Lemke

Leland was the best guide! Chief Tsosie Antelope Slot Canyon Tours was lots of fun and the beauty is indescribable. I will be back!

Linda Galle

Great service and super guide, taking perfect pictures for us! All closed vehicles with AC. Top experience!

Sharon Lucas

A wonderful tour of lower Antelope Canyon. Our guide was friendly and knowledgable. The canyon is beautiful - a photographer's dream. The tour, in my opinion, is a tad pricey but worth every dime. We will return - with a better camera.

Marlene Ferro

Loved our tour guide and Anyelope Canyon. This made a mark on my bucket list amazing to see nature's work.

Lora Ware

He knows the canyon like the back of his hand and it shows, it was a wonderful tour. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone, very nice sweet man.

David Graves

We did the 10:30 photo tour in early April. The 6 people in our group rode in a Chevy Suburban to the Canyon. Our guide, Nate gave us a briefing before we left and answered our questions. Then we hurried off to beat the crowds in the jeeps. Nate was fantastic, we got all the shots in the upper canyon. The photo guides worked together, But had to be quite forceful with the vast crowds of people so we could get our perfect shots. We got at least 2 minutes at all the spots, multiple light beams, sand falls, all the features without any people in our shots. I was not prepared for the crowds of people in such a narrow little space. Nice work Nate!

Douglas Terry

While a bit expensive at $78, we had a fantastic guide (Sandra) and the tour of upper antelope canyon was a 10:30 am but by the time we got there it was after 11 am and the perfect time to see the light beams coming through the Ceiling slots. Would definitely recommend this company as they took the time to explain things, allowed me to leave my fanny pack in the truck (they are very strict when when they say no bags).

Vincent Mercier

I strongly recommend this tout of upper Antelope Canyon. Our guide help us with pictures and good advices

Arati Kulkarni

We were late I agree it was our mistake. And we loose all our money that too not less it was over $400. Accept it as we were late by 6 min. When we called them as we were getting late the lady was super super rude and after we reached there she didn't even talk nice their was another girl who was try to find if she could do something for us and adjust us with another slot and 5 min before she mentioned she can put us in 10.30 slot but the rude lady let the tour go without us even their was a spot. So it clearly says they are seating there to take money from people who can't even enjoy tour. Horrible people super rude

Allison Spitzer

Amazing experience - highly recommend seeing upper antelope with them!! Our tour guide Anthony black was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable!!

Ralph Stan

Have been on three different slot canyon tours with them, they are super organized, great guides, and very knowledgeable about the slot canyons and area. Highly recommended tours and they are a must see if you are in the area. They will also help you with your camera, adjust settings, tell you the best spots for taking pictures, we can't say enough good things about them. The place is easy to get to, can't miss the place and the tours are all pretty close to their location.

Jimmy D

We took the 1030AM tour with Nate. I HIGHLY recommend this tour if you can get it. The lighting was awesome and NATE knows stuff! Not just the history around the Canyon, but all the features of the Canyon. AND, TOTALLY helps set up camera phones for getting the BEST shots, as well as helping TAKE the shots. He's no nonsense when it comes to keeping other tour groups together so everyone in his group can get the best shots. The canyon itself is AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL. And this tour was totally worth the money spent!
