Very friendly guide and good tour through the canyon.

sudipta sen

The guide was rude and denied to help us taking our pictures. She refused to click our picture in our phones where other guides were doing it. She was also hurrying us and couldn't see all properly. Overall I wes ill never recommend it to others.

Michael Jan

Amazing place! Our tour guide was friendly and the cave was awesome!

barbara Robin

Very nice tour into this wonderful canyon ! Lot of people here but the tour is well organized and you move Into small groups ! Our guide was very interesting and helped us to take the best pictures as possible. Highly recommended.

I really dont understand the negative reviews of this agency. This is the middle of a desert, of course it's hot with sand blowing and can only have portable toilets. The guides and checkin staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They set our camera settings for the best pictures and gave us a history of the canyon, navajo people, and numerous great photo locations. This really was the highlight of our southwest canyon tour. I would agree not to make reservations ahead of time. We planned this trip last minute and didnt have the required 5 months advanced notice to make reservations. There were plenty of times available for walkins throughout the day if you get there early in the morning (also before its 100 degrees), but you can only pay $60 cash. They also have signs saying they wont refund tickets in he event of flooding, and i wouldn't chance that 5 months out. The town is only 8 minutes away if you need time to kill and want to get food or drinks. Also, Navajo nation follows daylight savings time, unlike the state of Arizona, so make sure you're not an hour late in the summer!

Nice tour. Need better toilet.

JEERAYAPA ZHANG

Nice place, Miracle view, I got bueatiful pictures there

No words to describe the sheer beauty of this place. It's truly a spiritual experience. The native Indian tour guides are exceptional and go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable tour of the canyons.

We had a private "Photography Tour" that was well worth it. The regular tours are a frenzy of people scrambling to take photos, and it can feel claustrophobic. We were very fortunate to have Colby as our guide - he conceived of the Photo Tour years ago and he's a very skilled photographer himself. He was a wonderful guide. Highly recommend Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours (Upper Canyon / 11am) if taking photos is your reason for visiting.

Koki Mashita

The tour is okay. It is very crowded and expensive. We suggest going to the lower antelope canyon instead. It is less crowded, allowing you to take photos without others inside. But still, the view is beautiful. Kollab rating: 85/100, Good.

Scam. We were told to arrive an hour before and were 2 minutes late. Our tickets were resold. Fine, we’ll accept that as an extreme and draconian regulation (that by the way was NOT emphasized when we purchased tickets online). When we waited 2 hours and finally got off the waiting list, they told us they had to charge the FULL TICKET PRICE (60 dollars) AGAIN in GUESS WHAT, CASH ONLY WITH NO INVOICES ISSUED. This was NOT communicated to us before. Imagine my sheer horror when I come back after the tour and see them laughing and counting the money while pocketing some of the bills ON THE SPOT. My guess is that Navajo Tours cooperated with other third party platforms to devise this elaborate scheme that probably extracts 2-3 times the listed value of each ticket due to misinformation, cancellations and resale. Please use other tour operators.

Chuck McConnell

The guide was great. Helped with camera settings, told us what places provided the greatest pictures.

Sompong Chanchamrat

Very efficient check in. Toilets were so dirty without cleaning. This is very bad experience for customers.

One of the most popular tours to visit Antelope Canyon . First things first you have to visit there one and half hour before your slotted batch . Ours was 10 am in the morning and we had to reach there at 8 : 30 am . We were 30 minutes late and we were asked to come again at 4 45 pm in the afternoon . There is a separate 8 dollar per head fee that has to be paid via cash once you are there . Apart from this the tour is okayish . The guide will be somewhat informative . Upper canyon is almost similar to lower canyon . I personally do not thing one should do both .

I've gone on this tour twice: once in 2015, and again in 2019. Both times were a fantastic experience. The most recent time, our tour guide Bonnie went above and beyond to make sure we got great pictures and learned the history of the area and people. I've already referred my coworker here for her trip, and I'd recommend this company for anyone else looking for a great Antelope Canyon experience.

Alessandro

It's a wonderful place to see by it's completely ruined by the amount of people that's there. Tours are overbooked in August (we've been there the 11) and you can't enjoy the place since you have to move quickly to let the others pass. People is yelling and talking and it's really hard to listen your guide. That is suppose to talk about the canyon, instead is helping people taking some pictures. Does it worth 60 bucks? Definitely not. If you still wanna go remember to book in advance, and if you want to pay less buy tickets right at the canyon. But you have to come early in the morning

Jeff J

Great tour. Our guide was great. Dont forget your camera! Must see this place.

Amy Pomeroy

What an amazing experience. Our guide was the best!

Hong Qiu

We took the tour during our family’s spring break vacation. Our tour guide was an old gentleman named Abraham. He was very pleasant and helpful. He taught everyone how to take great pictures on our short drive over to the canyon, shared the Navajo history of the canyon, and took great pictures for us while inside the canyon. All of us in his group, 14 in total, all loved him. Thank you Mr. Abraham for making our visit so enjoyable!

kelsey bridgeford

The experience was awesome and a beautiful sight to see. I did the 1.5 hour tour to upper antelope but the half hour is contributed to them driving you back and forth there, giving just an hour to tour the actual canyon itself. It is crowded and you are extremely rushed, it is hard to get photos of yourself in the canyon or others you are with but you get awesome photos of the canyon itself with tips from your tour guide. **It is easier to find than the directions they email you and you do not have to print your ticket as long as you have it pulled up from your email.

Stephen Cann

Breathtaking. The upper canyon is the best one to see (IMHO) as it is narrower than the lower canyon, letting in less light and creating a moodier, more mystical setting. This is better for photography as long as you visit between 10 AM and 1 or 2 PM. To take a tour, you park in the dirt lot and pay $60 for a 15-minute ride in the back of a truck to the canyon entrance. Our tour guide, Zach, was incredibly knowledgable about the history of the canyon, photographers who made it famous, and the geography of the area. This is a must-see if you are in the Page area.

Yi Wen Chang

The tour guide shared with us a lot of pro tips about how to take amazing photos in the canyon. Besides, he also personally took professional photos for you. However, there were too many groups in the canyon so you really needed to manage your time well so you can get photos

bls txi

This place is breathtaking and fascinating in so many ways. The effect of wind and water on the sandstone has it's own unique style here as opposed to its bigger brother Grand Canyon. Definitely off the beaten path and well worth a visit. It's a shame 90% of the visitors are not from the US.

Chris Chan

Please request Bernice if you take this tour. She is the nicest, most pleasant tour guide. She takes your photos and gives you time to explore the canyon without rushing you. All the other tour guides looked miserable and seemed uninterested in the tours. But Bernice was incredible. Thank you for being sweet and friendly to our group. It made a huge difference!

Lisa Ramey

We had a great time Lori was awesome and took the most amazing pictures of us. It was a little busy but they keep things moving along nicely and keeps the experience amazing.

Feng Liu

We took the 2.5-hour photo tour at 11am on July 30 with antelope canyon Navajo tour. Our guide was Lejon E, he is the best photo tour guide I have ever had, extremely professional with a great customer service attitude. Unlike the other photo tours offered by the other tour companies, Navajo tour only has a maximum of 5 photographers in their photo tour. When you are in the slot canyon, 5 people is far easier and you get much more opportunities to get better shots than these in a 10 to 12 people group. You will see the HUGE difference when you get there. The weather was very cloudy on that day, so we were warned we wouldn't get any sun ray beam shots as the sun might not come out at noon. So we only had three photographers in our tour. When we got to the canyon, the other photographer realized he didn't bring a battery in his camera. Lejon asked him called his family to bring the battery to the check-in desk, then Lejon setup us inside the canyon and brought the guy back to pick up his battery. What a nice guide to ensure everyone has a great experience! Soon Lejon was back and we started our photo tour step by step in the slot canyon. Luckily, the sun came out at exactly when we need it. At each spot, Lejon will set up the spot for our tripods, helping us to frame the shots and adjust settings on our camera to ensure the best outcome (he is really familiar with DSLR settings), blocking people so we can get really good shot without people in our pictures (there are a lot of people in the slot canyon, the light also not good, without the photo tour and setting your camera on a tripod, you are not going to get any decent shots). Lejon also brought the dry sands for the sunray beam effects(there was a rain couple days ago, so the sand in the canyon was wet, could not used for the effect). Before he threw the sands, Lejon called us to get ready, then kept the count to tell us how much time we had left for the spot. he also blew the sand off from our lens periodically to ensure we get the clean pictures. He really made the day for us. We had such great experience at antelope canyon Navajo tour!!!

Michelle Royals

Took the tour a few days ago with Abraham as our guide. Incredibly beautiful tour, and Abraham made sure we took our time and that everyone had the opportunity to take the best photos...he even took my camera and took some photos for me, all of which I am printing and having framed. Worth every penny, and would definitely request Abraham!

Olga Shpigel

The canyon is amazing, but unfortunately the tour is overcrowded. It is impossible to stay for more than a few seconds in one place and enjoy the nature. There are a lot of groups in the canyon in the same time. And you feel like in photo lab, the guide stops in every interesting place and tells you to take pictures very quickly and then move to the next spot. You have a few seconds to take picture and then move forward. You walk in a narrow place where the groups that finished the tour come in the opposite direction and you always have to let them pass. That what you do most of the time.s. ..

Michael Luethmers

Amazing tour with lots of great photo suggestions! (Dragon's Eye)

Kuldeep Apradh

Fantastic Tour - Get ready to be stunned !! My two boys, my wife and her parents went on the tour and we all loved it. Our tour guide Presley was fabulous. It was perfect timing (12.30 pm) as the sun rays were hitting the ground through the canyon. After doing our breakfast, we went to horseshoe bend first which is 2 miles away and then reached the tour starting point by 11.30 am. Before the start of the tour, a little show was performed by a Navajo person. Later, the tour guide took us in the army-like truck to the upper canyon. The ride is about 5 minutes. And then we entered the canyon with our guide Presley. He set our phone camera to 'vivid warm' mode and took pictures for us and showed us different shapes that canyon is taking. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Thanks to Presley.

Michelle Mitton

The most amazing place! And the tour guide was so knowledgeable. I usually don't like having to listen to people talking on tours but this one was different and not boring at all.

Alan Y

Excellant, knowledgeable guide, helped us some excellant photos

jack powell

We had an incredible tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly as well as extremely patient. We are so glad we visited antelope Canyon while we were in the lake Powell area.

Malak Lopez

It was a decent experience, but definitely not worth the price. The rock formations are amazing, but the tour is quite boring after the first few photos. They do their best to make it less boring by offering facts, like how long a piece of wood has been there and how terrifying the storms can be, but it really doesn’t help much. Our tour guide also complained a lot about us not moving, but it’s super cramped in there and hard to hear the guide, so I feel like they need to create a more efficient guide system instead of telling us about how frustrated they are due to the thousands of people they have to guide each day. Just a thought.

durrell randle

I absolutely love the tours here they were really fun educational beautiful something I would definitely definitely go to do again when I come back out there and this is the company I would use to do that with it was absolutely great cool lots of fun I don't know how much more I could say but definitely check them out

ippon ippon

Worst customer service ever! I called because of a simple question and the person at the office was very rude to me. If I pay 160 $ I at least expect not to be yelled at.

Luke Love

Great everything. Our tour guide was super friendly and knowledgeable.

Simon Roth

The tour was awesome. And the guide was really great. He helped us with camera, taking pictures of the perfect spots and explained a lot about the canyon, his history and the culture of the people that live there. It was great. Take the morning tours, they have the best light.

Mengyi Zhou

Great experience walking through antelope canyon with guide and took a lot of good photos under guidance.

Oliver Henning

Quite expensive ($60 per adult) and still very crowded. Still it was worth visiting this canyon. Note that the most attractive tour times are 11:00 and 12:00 due to sun/light/shadow. But those tours seem to be sold out very early. No chance to get one for 'tomorrow'. So pre-plan this visit

Barbara Robin

We booked the 9 am tour and had the chance to be only 3 of us with our guide Sabrina ! We had the chance to ask a lot of questions about Navajos’ life and history, to meet a Navajo woman and explore monument valley through hidden ways. Wonderful tour and experience ! I highly recommend monument valley safari tour !

Sai Potukuchi

It was a very good tour. Worth it. The only improvement area I would say is that instructions on the ticket mention that we need to check in 60 min prior to the scheduled time. I took the first tour at 745 AM and the folks at the counter showed up 15 min late.

Victoria Dower

Such a great experience! Totally worth the money..felt like we had enough time on the tour and Dana, our guide, was amazing! Took lots of pictures for us like a pro without even having to ask and provided lots of information. The ride over was a blast too!

Aidan McLeod - Spec projects

Super great place to visit. All of the guides are part of the Navajo tribe, and tell fascinating stories from their culture. It’s best to have tickets in advance and at a good early time so you can avoid large crowds. Make sure to bring a good camera because every photo in there will be different. Endless opportunities, and you can even take a special photography tour.

Iván Castelló Serrano

A Natural Marvel. Our guide was very nice blocking the wave of turists to take some pictures.

DrJayDC

Ask for Lori as your guide. We took the upper tour in the afternoon, still had great sunlight shining through. A hat is a must, especially for falling sand and a bandana would be a great option. Pictures taken with HTC 10. Cannon T6 and iPhone Xr also amazing. Only downside was told to show an hour before and waiting outside with dust blowing...sign in and wait in the car with air. Actual drive out and tour 1hr. 20min..

Ange Wong

100% the worst. Don’t come here because there’s absolutely no organisation. Wrong information was given to us every single time we talked to someone. Reviews online used to be good but this place is no longer ran by the same kind people as before. This place is now serving big tour buses for $ and no longer friendly to individual visitors. Don’t come if you are not with those huge tour groups.

Sanida H

Tour was very nice. Based on reviews I've read I was a bit scared of overcrowding and was prepared for rude guides, but it was nothing like that. Guide was polite, went really slow and allowed everyone to take photos. She even helped everyone with camera settings and got us those famous reddish looking pretty photos (even though with naked eye canyon looked nothing like that and was pretty dark :D). Tours also work together to allow each group enough time at each section without other group getting into other's current spot. Parking is on the site. You have to leave everything in your car as explained by tour (except few allowed things). They will send you back to your car to leave it, if you try to go with your bag... I've been in April and it was really cold down there even. I was lucky that I had worn padded winter jacket, so make sure you're dressed accordingly since it's an hour of walking in lower temperature compared to upper ground. The one minus for me is price - I think this tour is a bit too expensive. Plus they seem to expect tips on top of that price, which was a bit too much for me. The second minus is the requirement to check in one hour before. This is waste of visitors time, since you can't do anything there and just have to pretty much sit in your car and wait for the tour after you finish check-in. And this is for the ones with the reservation. The walk ins can just come later and simply use empty spot and get in. All in all this was a lovely experience, I could get close to the canyon and can see all of the details. FYI, the time they use for their tours is the same as in Page or Flagstaff, so you don't have to worry about time zone change.

Wanderess Warrior

This was such a wonderful experience! Our guide was knowledgeable and kind. The vehicle ride was not too rough, for driving in the sandy trail. The views are breath taking and we loved the guides!

Lisa Zatarain

Have to arrive too early for tour (90 mins). Pd $80 on Viator, would have only been $60 to just walk up to entrance. Tour guide not loud enough for everyone in group to hear. Stunning views inside canyon so it was all worth it.

Kim Hudson

Great tour guides and well organized for how many people go through the canyon. Our tour guide showed us some awesome picture opportunities that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Steps going down into the canyon are a little scary but it’s well worth it!

Joyce Weaver

Not recommended. Disappointed in the crowds that are herded into the canyon. Herding people in to make money and not to enhance the experience of the people to enjoy the canyon. Unable to capture any pictures without strangers in the picture. Such a disappointment for for price.

Ana Jiménez González

Antelope Canyon is amazing, however, the experience was horrible given the guide tour (Rob), who didn't let us enjoy the views and made us all feel uncomfortable making us rush through the canyon. He didn't explain anything at all, whilst we saw how other guides did explain things about the canyon and were nice to tourists taking photos, smiling, taking the needed time to enjoy the visit. Not like ours. It was fully packed, destroying the charm a place like this has. In addition to this , we had to be there an hour and half early, for nothing, just waiting there.

Linda Freeman

Our Antelope Canyon tour was the best thanks to Bonnie! Bonnie took care of us and even showed us where to take the best pictures! The entire tour she showed us the best angles and history of the canyon, she’s the best, a safe driver and a good person. Thanks Bonnie for a great tour! - Giorgio

Heylittlegemma .

The canyon itself was amazing, but the tour and how they run it, im not a fan of. They packed the canyon with 100 people or so at one time so everything was chaotic and rushed. Barely have time to take a picture of yourself without anyone else on frame. There was another tour guide on the group behind us who was so rude and kept pushing us to go faster, she saw us taking picture and have no regards whatsoever, yet when her group still taking picture, she told us to go away. So freaking rude. Its more expensive than lower antelope, yet lower antelope has MUCH MUCH MORE TO OFFER.

James Hulse

This was a great tour which we thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend. Our guide, Ryan, took the time to show us how to take the best photos with our cell phone cameras.

Dori Hardoon

Omg! This place is beautiful. A must see! A world wonder for sure. So glad I got to see it with my family.

Vincenzo Tolone

Great Tour and a Fantastic Location. Our Tour guide was very Good - Thanks Ryan.

Phil Spence

Don't book through a tour company as we had disastrous experience. Once we spoke with the Navajo tour operators they were compassionate, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. This is a must visit place. Antelope Canyon is unlike any other visual experience that we have done. The native American guides are extremely helpful, and patient, telling you precisely where to stand and what direction to look for the best pics. They will even set up your camera or smart phone for the best settings for the photos. An absolute must see and it can all be done in a couple of hours.

Shao-ting Hong

Of course it is beautiful. But sand storm ruined it. After the tour, you may really want to go back to hotel to take a shower. I hope they could at least provide some masks for visitors in windy days.

Yolanda Wong

wonderful place. but one ticket staff there is quite unfriendly.

Cheryl Poe

Had an amazing tour and got loads of great pictures. Our guide, Leo, was very informative and was sure we all came away with several perfect pictures. We did the upper canyon tour and it was absolutely beautiful!! Definitely recommend!!

Patrick Chen

Stephanie was simply amazing!!! She's so chilled and knowledgeable on my photography tour. She's bossy enough to ensure we got good shots in the meantime not too angry. Navajo Tours is located at the entrance of the Upper Antelope so it would be your best bet!

Tanya T

I've had pictures of the canyon in my house for years, never thought I'd actually get a chance to see it in person. Canyon was absolutely stunning and it was better with Shan, our tour guide. She was great and helped us get some awesome photos. With reservation the check in process was super easy and the tour price was reasonable. So glad the Navajo have allowed us to view this beauty. A lifetime experience I will definitely never forget.

Marta R. Salvatella

We took their guided tour to the canyon (it’s the only way you can visit it). Our guide was awesome, she show us some photo tricks to get the best possible memories of the visit. Once there you realize that, being a magnificent place, there is a lot of camera filter and photo tricks.

Monica Camacho

Excellent!!! At must go place to visit.. . Mike was our guide he is fantastic he takes the time to help you with the pictures and with all the information you need.

Parimal Joshi

Great place to visit. This is very unique sight, I high recommend that visitors take the tour between 11 am or 12 noon. We felt that the tour company gave less time and the place was so crowded with other tourists. The tour company needs to reduce the number of tourist taken at each time. I feel like this a money making business for this tour company rather than allowing tourist to enjoy the beauty of this place, the place is crowded.

Chang Yoo

Googling about antelope upper canyon gives nothing but confusion and bunch of ads. Just drive to this place and purchase the tickets in this way you get to save some bucks over the tour companies and you can schedule your trip accordingly. You can either make a reservation for later the day or future or walk in if time is right. Most importantly, GET A MASK!! THERE IS WALMART NOT TOO FAR OR YIU WILL FIND YOURSELF UNPLEASANT TOUR IN THE CANYON.

Tina Ellenbecker

Thank you Navajo Tours for such a wonderful day. We had our family of 11 on the Upper Antelope Canyon tour. Ryan was the best guide we have ever experienced. So helpful and knowledgeable, we would recommend this tour to everyone. This is a must see. Ryan is top notch!!!

Timothy Wang

ZERO star !!! The worst organization ever. They canceled our tickets with no refund. Although we did arrive 15mins late (45mins before departure), but they didn’t mention the consequence in any forms before or after we purchased the tickets. Additionally, when does a native American’s land become a part of a Chinese organization ? They always overbook tickets and sell them in high prices in Chinese managed websites. If you really want to go, just walk in and buy the ticket on site, it’s cheaper than buying online but with cash ? We didn’t end up going because they cancelled our tickets and suggested us to buy tickets again on site. We will not come back here again.

Uriel Gonzalez Rosario

The place is stunning. The transportation is awful and they don’t tell you in advance you are going to be breathing dust and getting it all over you on the way to the cave. It gets extremely crowded and the tour is awfully organized. And it goes by too quick, giving you no time to take decent photography. For the price and for how far it is, they should improve absolutely everything.

AKELLA RAVI

Undi eget table experience

Susan Zdanowicz

Our tour guide’s name was Bonnie and I must say that she was the best ever. She should be a supervisor because she knew how to handle the people, especially people who did not speak the language.

Yash Agrawal

Well organized tours and amazing guides. Easy and quick check in is a plus.

S W

Wyatt, our driver and guide, nice guy, great guide! Thank you!!

Jay P

Wow! Amazing place. Be prepared to pay $60 cash per adult to Navajo guide companies, but man what an experience. I went later in afternoon so did not get the overhead light beams but still. Beautiful.

Emillie An

called information number and lady that answered was rude with attitude in answering tour questions for additional infor. She referred me to the website which didn't answer the questions I had was the reason I was calling. If this was their attitude for someone who wanted to give them business - I can only imagine what their attitude was at the time of the tour !!!!

Jennifer Snyder

Took my 13 yo and 10 yo here. Leon was our guide and was fantastic. He helped show everyone how to set their cameras to get the best picture possible...including my kids cameras. The slot canyon is incredible as is the story behind it. This was worth every penny!

Ellen Kim

Very rude and terrible service! The Canyon is beautiful but the people who work there are very mean and unprofessional. Also it was very crowded so hard to find family picture time. We were pushed to keep walking. So disappointed and was sorry for my children for what they had to go through to see the Canyon.

Brett Mitchell

Overpriced and overcrowded and rushed feeling with tours pushing from the back and rules such as no picture taking allowed on the return. Definitely a good example of how mass tourism has ruined a place of natural beauty. All focus is on the Instagramer crowd with quick photos looking upwards to avoid the crowds of people. Wouldn't recommend it at this price for these crowds. If they limited the number of people it would be worth it but profits rule over pleasure and experience.

Grace Kim

The tour guide makes all the difference. We had a tour guide named Ryan who was superb! He was so knowledgeable, cordial, and friendly. We had a tour at 8:45 am on a day when it was 34 degree outside. We were supposed to be on an open ended tour van, but our guide got another vehicle so we can sit inside. Once we got to the canyon, he showed us how to fix our camera settings so pictures would come out similar to what you see online. He, himself being a photographer, knew exactly where and how to take pictures. I ended up paying for the tour $10/per more because I reserved it through Tours4Fun, a third party vendor, so try to reserve directly to the tour company if you can.

JAY KUMAR

Antelope canyon breathtaking beauty. Wear a mask while on the Navajo truck from visitors center to the canyon entrance. Dusty ride

Makenzie Rose

Called and asked about some of the pricing fees when arriving to the park. The woman on the phone was downright nasty and extremely rude. When I double check before I embark on a 28 hour drive, I just would like to make sure that I have my finances in order, due to never being in the area before and seeing some conflicting information on my confirmation of booking. She repeated the same sentence over and over, speaking slowly and harshly and treating me as though I had a mental deficiency. As someone that works in the customer service industry, I can definitely say this woman belongs in a maintenance position or anything other than customer facing. You answer the phone, you're gonna get questions.

Rick Rhay

We booked a photographer tour with Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours, and it was awesome. You should know that you can't bring a tripod into the canyon unless you book a photographer tour. It's much more expensive, but it's a much longer tour, and it's worth every penny. But if you book a photographer tour, you must have an SLR or mirror-less camera and a real tripod for every member of your party (two people = two cameras and two tripods). They will inspect your gear before you can even check in for your tour, so don't think you can skirt it. If you're not a photographer, you can't take the photographer tour. Our guide was Lejon, and I can't emphasize enough how helpful he was, and what a great experience we had, largely due to Lejon's efforts. You should also know that Antelope Canyon was for us (and is every day) PACKED with people, what seemed like 6 other tour groups of 15 or 20 people each. The whole canyon was practically full of people, wall to wall and end to end. Lejon made sure that the rooms we wanted to photograph were clear of people by working with the other guides to ensure we had a few minutes in each spot, uninterrupted. He had detailed knowledge of the canyon, and knew which rooms would have light beams at what times (it's constantly changing). He knew just the right angles from which to shoot, and even provided skilled advice about camera settings and composition. He worked very hard to ensure we had a great experience. And we did. I highly recommend Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours, and if you're lucky enough to have Lejon as your guide, rest assured, you will have an excellent experience.

Amani Romaïssa Djail

The tour was okey , the spot a bit darker than Expected, there were too many people in my opinion, not confortable to take pictures, you have to see it quickly because others are going in, otherwise the rock sand is beautiful

Ernesto Cuevas

I wanna make things clear I am not speaking of the tour I was just disappointed that they do not take card. Any form of card, debit, credit card is not accepted ONLY CASH! I drove from Phoenix to experience the horseshoe bend and this tour as I drove up for the last tour of the day (with no cash) only my debit card, I realized it was the last tour and it was gonna be in 10min so I searched for the fastest way to get cash and it was driving back to the town and coming back which would've took way too long and because of that I didn't get to experience this tour since I had to drive back home that night. So my advice carry cash!!!

Crystal Federspiel

Great guide....awesome tour!!! Would recommend. Insta-worthy for sure!!

Dominic Jacobo

Such a great experience! This is the easier of the 2 slot canyons in the area. No strenuous hiking or climbing once you are transported by the guides to the entrance. The canyon cannot be visited on your own, you must book a scheduled guide as it is on Navajo lands. Our guide Leo, was great, showing us all of the great vantage points to take the best pictures. His knowledge of the area and the history made for a wonderful experience that even our teenage kids enjoyed. Definitely book these well in advance to get the better mid day time slots.

Beverley Boudreau

It was a very windy day. Didn't have a scarf or mask to wear. Sand blowing was biting. Inside canyon it was beautiful but because of wind was coming down like rain. We were covered in red sand when we finished. Our guide wasn't as informative as the others, I picked up more information by listening to other guides. Suggest you try to visit on a less windy day it would be more enjoyable.

feroz khan

Nice guide - Dana. She even helped take good pictures with the right angles

The tour guides were extremely rude to us and even other people who didnt belong to their team. They didnt give us much time to explorw the canyon and charged us with $77.00 each which is completely worthless with that kind of service. I hope you guys treat your customers with a lil respect and be worth of our money.

Joey K.

You can't go wrong with this tour group. They are highly professional, courteous, and informative. Upper Antelope Canyon is a sight to behold and it is worth it!

Mark Bibby

Fabulous, one off the bucket list. Got on a earlier tour when we arrive which was a result due to the heat. Our guide was informative, knowledgeable and friendly. Impossible to fault. Ahéhee’.

Jay Ryder

This was the highlight of my trip to Arizona. I booked the photography tour and could have gone home happy with the shots I got. The guide was vary knowledgeable, helpful, and a joy to talk to. There was plenty of time for each of us to get our shots in, before moving on to the next location. He did a terrific job of handling the other groups, so we could get our shots. Don't pass this one up!

Sanil Bhaskaran

Right next to highway. Be there on time for tour. Guides are friendly. Our guide Leo was a nice person. He helped everyone with foto tips and even helped all by taking some nice shots. Tour guide will drive us from tour point to upper antelope canyon and take us through the canyon and drive back to tour starting point.Just carry some water and leave everything else in your vehicle. Tour is easy for everyone. We had good time at the canyon. Make sure to enjoy the canyon with your eyes along with your camera. Phone camera will do a good job.

Karoline Bowman

Not inexpensive, but the photos we got were so worth it! The canyon is just breathtaking. Our guide was great, super informative and kind, and he really helped us get better photos. He even took our phones and took some pics for us to show us the right settings, etc. and was also willing to take tons of family pics. He was very patient with everyone in our group, including the kids. It IS very crowded and tight spaces, and the ride to the canyon is long and dusty, but if you are prepared going in, the photos you take will be worth the visit!

Shoba Jenifer

Best tours. Guides are so helpful to take a photo. The guides are in the best way to take photos in phone and camera. The travel takes places around 2:30 hrs.15mins travel in a jeep. And 1:30hrs in the canyon.Very best time take photo from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.Wiyh sunlight photos will be good. Guides will help you to take the best photos. No restrooms and no eatable foods are allowed inside canyon.Everything has to be done in starting place.

Vicki Reynolds

Loved the tour of Antelope canyon. Knowledgeable tour guide.

Marta S

Amazing place. Tour was great, we really enjoyed it. This is something you need to see once in your life. It’s not cheap but it’s totally worth it. Personnel was great and very kind, they helped us park and guided us perfectly.

Kelly Nelson

3 of my girl friends and I took this tour as part of a weekend hiking trip in Page and the canyon is truly unique and beautiful. Our tour guide was all business and you feel a bit like cattle being herded onto the trucks and through the canyon in a very strict and rushed fashion. That being said, our guide definitely knew what she was talking about and helped everyone get great photos. Unfortunately you can't go through without a tour, and in my opinion they crowd way too many people in there at once to get as much money as they can out of it, but that isn't necessarily this tour company's fault so I didn't dock any stars. Just know that it will not be a very relaxed or private experience. I'm glad we did it!

Sarah McMahon

It hailed right before our tour was supposed to start. The guides were super nice and made the best of the bad weather. Dont worry it stopped snowing before they took us anywhere. Guides helped take photos and accommodated everyone. Definitely worth the drive.

Suresh Raj

Our tour guide kayle was so friendly and helpful

Anar Dadashov

They are calling you couple hours early for no reason! uncompleted terms because of it is running by private company, they would do whatever they want. Road is sandy and wind will blow all the sand to your eyes and ear, because of the pickup trucks built without covers. And you will have to seat on those pickups for 10-15 minutes. Make sure to bring something that covers you and you can breath at the same time :))

Michael Stillwagon

Outstanding! Illisa was a great guide.

Christy Daughtry

Our guide, Ryan, was phenomenal!!! The slot canyon was busy but well organized and ran smoothly. Our family was able to see the beauty of the slot canyon and take some phenomenal photos in the process. It was a great experience!!!

Pamela Coulter

I highly recommend this company. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, had great respect for the site, was polite, and was an excellent leader who kept us in line so we would not interfere with other visitors' enjoyment (e.g., by keeping to the correct side, etc.). He also helped us all to take wonderful photos.

Simone Siconolfi

Great tour. Guide was very good with explaination and helpful with camera setting. Choose them.

tory asfahani

Beautiful canyon, but horrible customer service when checking in. We got there just in time to meet their requirement of arriving 1 hour in advance of our tour. Unfortunately, our friends who were also scheduled for the same tour drove to lower canyon instead of upper canyon and missed the deadline by only a couple of minutes. I tried to reason with the staff to just give our friends a minute to drive across the street, insisting they were on their way as I had them on the phone at the time of the deadline, but they wouldn't budge. They had already sold our friends reservation to someone else waiting in line and claimed they were sold out for that tour time. When it was time to board the jeeps for the tour it was clear they were NOT full, and in fact our jeep was delayed while they charged another family who may have been a walk up and put them in our jeep just so they'd have a full vehicle. Bottom line is the two women at the check in desk are only interested in making money and couldn't care less about the experience they provide their customers. As others have mentioned, the tour was extremely crowded which only helps to verify that they only care about herding as many people as possible through the canyon. That said, one one star in our review is for our tour guide who was very kind and did help us get some good photos and took a few family pictures for us.

bhrugen patel

Amazing tour! I enjoyed it way more than lower antelope Canyon

Kevin McCandlish

What a great experience! This is definitely an awesome natural wonder and our guide, Lorita, was the best. She knew all the best photo spots and had all the answers about this formation. Buy your tickets directly from their website to avoid confusion. There are third party sites that sell tickets and I had some issues when our desired time slot was full. Book as soon as you can to get the time you want. Despite the number od trucks parked at the entrance the canyon was not crowded and they keep it flowing.

Steve Girard

Excellent Tour! Our guide was Mike and he was very knowledgeable about the Canyon and showed us the best ways to take photos of it. He was very helpful!

Mackensie Henderson

Did the photography tour and it was well worth the money. Our guide was super helpful, telling us the best settings to use on our cameras in the canyons and pointing out great photo op shots. I heard the regular tour was just as incredible!

Алена Салынская

It was great tour. It was cost $60, but I like it.

Cameron Nicholas

Antelope Canyon is a must see landmark in Arizona. Often it seems to be overlooked by the Grand Canyons, but everyone needs to make there way over to these Canyons too. The tour is led by Navajos and they play their flute at times while you walk through and the views are simply amazing. 100% would reccomend taking a trip to Antelope Canyons.

Troy

I've saw a one-star comment of the tour guide Rob. Unfortunately, we were on that car. The tour guide was helpless, useless and rude. The canyon was amazing but the group tour was awful. The tips are compulsory as well.

Kingsley Sim

If you booked from Chinese tour agency, you need arrive 1-1.5 hours earlier before your actual visiting time. No backpack, no tripod or selfie stick allowed to bring in unless you are in the photo shooting tour. The tour guide is awesome, he is nice and funny and even take awesome photos for us. Great experience.

Steve Kennedy

Great tour. Ray was a terrific guide.

Eyal Lilach

Overcrowded to the very extreme. This is a case of an over-commercialized attraction. While the natural beauty of the slot canyon is truly amazing - the experience itself wasn’t. The canyon was literally flooded with people to the point that it was hard to walk inside. Our guide was very nice and tried her best to somehow make this experience nice. She explained that due to tourist demand and organized tours they are moving 500 people per hour in and out of this canyon. So imagine a canyon of about 400 meters packed with hundreds and hundreds of people walking in and out in parallel packed like sardines.

Gary Purinton

This was a great tour. We were expecting a high volume low quality tour and couldn’t have been more wrong. Our guide was incredible showing us how to take great photos with our iPhones. Showed us the best filter to use and where to stand when taking the best shot in each section of the canyon. His knowledge and the information he conveyed to us was very in depth about the geology and the history of the area. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone. The ride to the entrance was comfortable and the walking is minimal. Check this one out if you are in Northern Arizona.

Duncan W Fraser

Words will not do this justice, you HAVE to go and experience it yourself. Our guide, Vere, was fantastic, giving us the history of the canyon as relating to the Navajo or Dine`. No other words, just GO!

Hemil Shah

Really nice and cool! Yours were great. I felt they were pricey but it's pretty worth it and a good stop on your vacation

James Baczewski

Amazing place to see. Inside the canyons is an experience like no other. Makes you remember just how powerful water can be.

Stan Levenger

Amazing views and great photo opportunities. Very unique experience that everyone should make every effort to see. Well organized four staff keeps the things moving. Now for the practical and less than ideal issues. They are moving large masses of sightseers through the narrow slot canyon every day. On my visit day the same narrow path was being used for both ingress and egress. Not sure why they were not exiting and transporting the tours from end location back to the visitors staging area at road. Very hectic with all the bodies going both ways. Worked very hard to get pics due to the rapid tour pace and crowds. Regardless of the situation this is a once in a lifetime opportunity so take the tour if you can.

Tina Szczech

Our trip to Antelope Canyon was awesome, thanks to Leo Jr., who was a great tour guide. He shared his extensive knowledge on the canyon. He also helped us take some pretty awesome photos of the canyon. Definitely worth it!

Phil Richardson

I wish I could give 3 different reviews: one for the canyon itself, one for our tour guide, and one for the organization that provided the tour. The canyon itself is breathtaking. What an amazing place! However, the tour we took was extremely crowded, and I would guess that not very many people enjoyed the experience. Our tour guide, Ty, did the best she could. My kids and I were the only English-speaking tourists in our group , so Ty spent most of her time yelling instructions in Chinese at the other guests, then would explain to us in English what was happening. She did a great job showing us where and how to get some great shots. If I was only reviewing the canyon and our tour guide, this would be a five star review. Unfortunately, the organization itself is a disaster. They readily admit that they overbook every tour, and will cancel a reservation if you are even a minute late. And by late, I mean less than an hour early for your tour. That’s right, their policy requires you to arrive one hour early for check-in. If you arrive 59 minutes early, your reservation (and your money) is gone. The printed materials for the tour advises that tripods, monopods, bags, and backpacks are not permitted. That’s fine. When we were about five minutes away from departing for the tour, I was advised that my camcorder was not allowed. All the printed materials said that cameras were permitted! However, because my camera looks like a video camera , I was not allowed to bring it into the canyon. News alert, it is 2019, every camera made will shoot video and stills! This organization needs to be more specific in advising their customers that video is not permitted, ahead of time. Generally speaking, everyone from the organization whom I dealt with, aside from our tour guide, was incredibly rude. I have seen other reviews from people who had great experiences with everyone they dealt with. I guess I caught this organization on a bad day, or perhaps the other reviewers caught them on a good day.

Rebeccah Martin

great staff and loved that their guards helped shoot photos for us. but it's an overwhelming experience with all of rhe people so be prepared. It's because of the landscape and popularity, not the fault of the tour program itself. I wish they advised bringing a scarf or coverup shawl because of all of the dust in the air, especially on the ride to the canyon entrance. Might be helpful to raise prices to accommodate smaller groups and take turns coming through and leaving the canyon. I understand the cash only portion, but I wish you could mail in or drop off payment beforehand.

Anthony Deotto

The Canyon was incredible and the tour guide was very informative, but way too crowded.

Paul Murphy

The people here were amazing and very helpful!! We had tour scheduled for 2:00PM and the lady at the office asked if we wanted to do the 12:45 tour instead since it was only ten minutes away, plus, better lighting! The guide we had, Rob, was absolutely great to have. He helped with the locations and took pictures of my fiance and I and helped change our phone settings as well. Very informative and tried to keep the group in line. People, do your guides a favor and listen to them and follow directions. Too many people think it's their right to be there and do what they feel. They have rules for a reason!! And for the love, tip your guide. We felt bad because we had large denomination bills and could only tip 7.00, and he appreciated it and said we were the only ones who did that. If you can afford four of you for 60 a pop you can afford to tip too!! We went back to the office and broke our bill and gave him an additional twenty. HR was well worth it because if you pay attention and follow directions he will return the favor to you!!

Jacek Antoszewski

To short but wonderful! Thanks!

Jane Scarbrough

This was well worth the money. We had a wonderful, knowledgeable Navajo tour guide. And based on the other tours that went through the canyon at the same time we clearly had a smaller group. Book your tour soon!!

Ádám Srej

The canyon is beautiful, however I had the feeling they just try to squeeze you out as much money as possible. Reservation is a must.

Bryan R

Very useful and friendly staff that are willing to take pictures and give advice for how to get your iPhone to take the best pics! Very nice tour and certainly worth it if in the area!

Q Zhou

Antelope canyon is amazing. We meet rain when we arrived. But it was also beautiful

Sarah Olson

We had done the lower canyon tours first so had pretty high expectations for this one. First we made our reservation for 11am and the next day got an email that there wasn’t room for that time after already booking it so we had to switch times, that wasn’t a huge deal. But, they require you to check in an hour and a half early (check in takes 5 minutes) so you’re just sitting in your car waiting. There were a ton of people as our groups were of 14 and about 10 groups go in at a time so it was very crowded. I recommend the lower canyon (with kens tour), our pictures turned out better and the groups were much smaller!

Nomado Alvarez

Great excursion. I had a really good time.

Katie Fletcher

We did the photography tour, and Leon was fantastic! We got some amazing shots of the canyon thanks to his guidance, and we couldn't be happier.

Emanuele Blicchi

Rob did a great job as guide and made every second of the tour interesting!

Emily Hills

NOTE TO DIABETICS OR OTHERS WITH MEDICAL ISSUES: No bags are allowed; not even a small fanny pack with glucometer or fast glucose. They refuse to let you keep your lifesaving equipment on hand. While a few people working said it was okay for me to bring my fanny pack, when I was on the truck on the way to the canyon, they shouted that no bags were allowed. I told the guide I would leave it in the truck during the tour. However, on the way to the canyon, they dropped me off at the parking lot and demanded I return my small bag to the car. It was humiliating and scary to get back in the truck with the possibility of having a medical crisis and not having items with me to treat the situation. At one point in the canyon on the tour, our guide said that they're all trained to assist in a medical or flash flood situation. I found this incredibly laughable as she herself did not have a bag or backpack with water or supplies to help anyone, and especially not a diabetic. When exiting the canyon, we passed several people with camera bags and purses. I asked the guide why they were allowed and she said it was a different tour company. This is not okay. Keep the rules the same for everyone! Why should one company be okay and another not? Especially when the tourists tell you that it's medically necessary. Finally, when we spoke with upper management, the woman could not have cared less about the situation. She found our explanation and complaint of the poor process inconvenient. She kept repeating that if I had come to her, she could have given me a ziplock bag for my medical things. I explained that none of the 5 people who I told that it was medical said anything about her or the option of a ziplock. The employees are not trained and communication from upper management down seems to be incredibly lacking. Really awful company and experience. I would not recommend it. The tour itself is completely commercialized and you can't properly take in the natural beauty that you're there to see because they're bastardized the canyon to be nothing more than a cool instagram post. The guide didn't seem to care about the canyon in an authentic way and droned through facts and mostly just told us what settings to have our phones on to take photos. You have to arrive far in advance to ensure your tickets and they do not care if you have a serious concern about the way things are managed.

Danielle Flores

Even with the crazy number of people the tour guides make this an incredible experience. They will make sure you get several quality pictures! Tip them well!

Christopher Bernholdt

I visited Antelope Canyon as part of my family's trip to the Southwest. This location has been on my bucket list of places to photograph for some time. We booked way in advance, at least a month ahead of time as I heard that they would often sell out quickly and I wanted to secure my spot. My guide was Stephanie and she was outstanding as a guide but also her knowledge of photography was exceptional. I lucked out only having three people in our tour group which made it super personal and enjoyable. Apparently, they changed the maximum from 8 to 5 because a photo tour with 8 would be pretty cramped. I appreciated the way she would set up our tripod locations, give us direction, but most of all, keep the crowds out of our shots. If you're there to take the best pictures, I highly suggest you pay for the photography tour as it was worth every penny, I heard many other guests who were just there for the tour complain that tripods weren't allowed but apparently, they didn't read past the one experience. Make sure if you go for the photography tour that you use a tripod and DSLR camera that has adjustable settings. Stephanie also answered all of our questions and was a great conversationalist and personable guide who could take control when needed. THe canyon can feel very narrow with groups coming and going the entire hour and a half that we shot the location. I felt with her that I definitely had the experience I was hoping for. The beauty here is unparalleled and the end resulting shots are inspiring. On a hot day, 84 degrees and sunny, it was cool in the canyon but not cold. You could get away with a long sleeve shirt and shorts. The ground is sandy so wear appropriate footwear. I also would suggest a bandana or buff for covering your nose and mouth as during the photoshoot, to make the beams of light stand out, the sand is thrown into the air.

Daniel Hearn

This is a must see. Tour was very good - will organized - went the extra mile to accommodate everyone. We had a 4:00 pm reservation and put us on the 1:00 pm tour - looked like they added vehicles. Walk-ins with no reservations were accommodated, but this may not be the case all the time. Lots of parking, be sure to bring a bottle of water. Plenty of time to take pictures and our guide was very helpful getting us positioned for some very good photos.

Madhumita Srinivasan

The company has rudest customer service. The agent who answered my call not only gave rude responses, she failed to hear me out while I tried to ask them a question regarding their infant policy and hung up on me mid way through the call. Terrible experience. Do not recommend them.

Andrea Carlantuono

No words to describe this beautiful place!

Giriraj VG

Book the canyon tour around noon time to be able to see the light coming in and creating magic.

Jean-Philippe Dahan

Unique. Worth every dollar out of the 60 charged.

esha singh

Amazing tour Great guide and they give u tips for pictures and take care of whole group.. It's was great experience

William Owens

We had a great tour with a great tour guide. She also helped us take some great pictures.

Gianluca Tomat

Tour was nice, though very crowded. It is mandatory to arrive more than 1 hour before the tour starting time even if you have a prepaid reservation. They will give away your reservation immediately (we arrived 50 minutes before due to wrong address and had to postpone our tour to the next available -3h later- since they had already given away our spots - unacceptable behaviour IMHO)

aradhana

Very unfriendly and unhelpful service. We phoned in advance and the agent told us that no bookings were possible in advance, and we should show up at 8am to be placed on a tour. She did not mention that tour dates could normally be reserved in advance, and that they just happened to be booked on the day we were planning to visit. We made the several hour journey, leaving very early in the morning and braved icy roads to find the tours sold out for the day. This was disappointing since I had phoned from the car to make sure that they were indeed operating on schedule in the bad weather (some roads were closed) and the agent did not mention that there might be a chance the tours would be all filled up. When we asked for suggestions of other tour operators we may try, the agents/tour guides were not even willing to spell out the names of a couple of options. They insisted that telling us to ‘drive up the road 2 miles’ would be sufficient information, and at a certain point just stopped talking to us. Had we known sooner perhaps we could have booked another tour. At this point we tried phoning several different tour operators, but all were sold out for the day — however none were so rude and unfriendly in their way of letting us know! I hope to have another opportunity to see Antelope Canyon, and will be sure to book in advance...with a different tour operator!

Just wanted to say that our guide for the PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR, Stephanie, was PHENOMENAL. She was super informative on what settings to use to get the right shot and CLEARED OUT each section we took photos at. It was a super busy day (like they all are, I’m sure), but Stephanie handled the crowds with ease. Not rude to the other visitors, but firm in letting them know they needed to clear the area for us. She was amazing and fun to talk with, too! By far the best experience I’ve had with a guide ANYWHERE. Highly recommend these guys if you’re checking out Antelope Canyon!

Arthur Stoetzner

Caution rip-off!!! It's always fully booked on the website. When you come there, you find plenty of free opportunities and it's so much cheaper to come there directly. Without reservation you pay around 60$ with reservation it's much more. We paid totally 90$. The place is really hot and they told us to wait for 1,5h. Happily there are so less people that we could enter early just after 30min waiting in 104°F. Restrooms are a complete mess there!! At least the tour guides are really cool. They show you some good places for taking photos and help you with it. They are really kind! But all in all not recommendable

Dasha Mikic

Great tour! There are a ton of tourists but antelope canyon tour does a great job managing everyone on smaller groups. The sight exceeded our expectations! Make sure to book a spot in advance.

Diane Pearson

The tour guide, Lavena(?) was awesome and helped us take some fabulous pictures. .highly recommend this tour from this group!

Sarah Anderson

While the canyon is incredibly busy with so many tourists visiting, Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours did an incredible job managing the chaos. The guided photography tour was absolutely worth the cost. Our guide, Liam was so knowledgeable and helpful with camera settings, places for the best photos and when the canyon became too busy he lead us to another section. He was approachable and very welcoming of questions. I was constantly impressed by how helpful he was and his knowledge of the best spots for photos.

Kathy Fencik

Our guide KJ was great! What an awesome place to visit.

Christine Song

It is just wow.... you can't justify with picture. We also had an awesome guide who knew where to even take a picture and how to set up. Lower part is definitely recommended

Sung Oh

Very enjoyable experience. Our guide Tom was very knowledgeable computer science studying student not only about his cultural background but also photograph :). He also was multilingual for international team of ours.
