This place is great. If you're into kayaking or canoeing on the lazy Flint River they will take good care of you with friendly service. I think these people enjoy what they're doing.

My cousins and I take all the kids canoeing/kayaking at the end of each Summer before they go back to school. We chose NACK this year and had a great time. The staff was friendly, shop was cool, and Flint River was perfect for us. We will definitely be going back.

Literally just walked up last Saturday and asked to rent a kayak without never going before. Super easy process. Sign a slip, pay for the rental and they do all the rest. Everything was provided and they even let me use a little sunscreen. It couldnt of been easier. Floated down for about 3 and a half hours and had a van waiting to pick you up at about McMullan Cove. Definitely will do this again with them. It was a great time!

Excellent outfitters. We had our own kayaks, so we were put in and picked up. They were awesome. Loaded our yaks up, we did nothing but paddle and have fun.

I would have put 5 stars but someone had to go and mess it up for the rest of us. I wanted to do their wild tour but due to some issues with a previous tour they are no longer a owing the wild tour to go on. This was extremely disappointing because that's the best part of the cave. I never got a chance to go to the end and thanks to whoever you are no one ever will now.

The people here are extremely friendly and helpful. You cannot help but be excited about floating down the Flint River when you're around them. The only downside is the price... "Single Kayaks" - are $45 per person which I find to be moderately reasonable. However, "Canoes, canoe-kayak hybrid, Tandem Kayaks" are $35 per person, which works out to $70 / tandem which feels like a complete rip-off. "Shuttle Service" Only is $25 per person. This used to be lower ($15 I believe) which seemed much more reasonable as it is not a far drive to the take in/out points. The biggest turn off (and the reason I do not go anymore) is because they do not take credit cards. So you end up (potentially) having to pay an ATM fee or bring a ton of cash for any group outing.

I went kayaking for the first time and also camped by myself. The staff at NACK was friendly and very helpful. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Scott was friendly and professional. I had a great time and highly recommend NACK to guide you on a relaxing fun time, either solo or with a group.

NACK easily helped me add Alabama to kayaking all 50 states! Very pleasant and helpful staff. Except for paddling, which I love, I never had to lift a finger. The overcast weather was perfect for an enjoyable morning on the river. The takeout point is well marked. The absolute highlight of the trip was watching a large buck jump in, cross the river and scamper up the steep riverbank.

I have LOVED coming here once a year with my family over the last couple years. However, we went kayaking today (7/22/17) and when we got done, we waited to the side for a while because some of my group had their own kayaks, others borrowed from NACK. They weren't loading the owned kayaks so we asked if we could move them up. They were super friendly and easily moved the kayaks forward for us. Even with the kayaks moved forward, other kayaks were being loaded before them. There was no system whatsoever to loading the buses. My family waited an hour and a half to be carried back because other people that had used NACK equipment just hopped on while our owned kayaks weren't being loaded. Very disappointed in the lack of organization for the end of the adventure. The river itself is lovely to travel down though.

Great place and pricing is good for a fun day, NACK provides ride to launch point unloads you’re gear that they provide and help put you in water. They pick you up when done and have timed just right. They have to cut off at certain times because there is only so much daylight to negate a post I saw. Have options on how long you would like to do a paddle and nothing is needed except anything to eat or drink so worth every penny. Unless you like paddling up current. A++ or wanna paddle at night and coast guard has to rescue. Jk

Sooo much fun! Been twice now, each time it gets better. There are some rope swings we tried on the river. You gotta try as well you will love it. It takes 5 to 7 hours for the trip usually, but that's due to many breaks and taking in the beautiful scenery. It's worth doing at least once in your life.

This is one of the best things to do in the area. Go rent a canoe or a kayak, grab your dog, some lunch, and a cooler and have a 3-4 hour float. They'll drop you off and fish you out at the end. Enjoy

This is the kind of place that will take great care of you, and make sure you have a good, safe, fun, trip. They are on an awesome stretch of the FlInt River. I have great times there making memories with my kids, and wish them all the best!

Went with a group of 4. 2 of us had kayaks, 2 of us didnt. This is my favourite stretch of river in the Huntsville area. Lots of wildlife (mainly turtles), a cave, and plenty of rope swings. Overall we had an amazing time and NACK was very speedy with pickup and loading the kayaks back up. Taking off one star because NACK is a little pricey if you already own a kayak ($25 pick up and drop off fee/person) and the paddles that NACK provides are very heavy and awkward. I wish they were aluminium instead of the dense plastic material. Lastly remember to bring plenty of cash!!! NACK does not accept any type of card.

The NACK is the shiznit! Great folks, great float. Plenty of places to stop along the way to park and swim, eat lunch etc...there are a few places to stop and camp if you are so inclined.

We love NACK! You rent a kayak from them for $45 per person and they drop you off at the Flint River and then pick you up about 3.5 hours down the river. You can borrow dry boxes for free (just leave your keys as collateral). Along the river, you’ll see multiple ropes swings and you can find a cool cave to explore. The cave is about 1.5 hours down the river on the right bank. Make sure you bring a cooler with drinks and snacks!

Such a friendly and fun place! Make sure to call a few days in advanced to check their open hours. $45 a person for a kayak and being dropped off and picked up after you are done. Look out for a hidden cave after about 1.5 hours on the right side of a cliff. Super cool sight to see! Remember to bring sunscreen, snacks, and water!

They left us stranded on the water! We self parked and accidentally left our keys in the car. We stopped at the Nack exit point and offered to pay them $40 dollars to drive us 8 miles to our car. They said they would only take us to their place and we would have to walk the other five miles. I've never been treated like this before in my life. We needed help and offered to pay above and beyond and they flat out refused. If you have your own kayaks there are ton's of spots you can park for free and not support these heartless people.
