I’ve been on several cruises and this was the most organized port we’ve ever gone out of. I loved it as it lessened my anxiety big time! Lol! Friendly staff and we were on that ship in no time. The parking lot is mainly a parking garage which we loved and you paid by an app which was convenient. My favorite port so far and we went out of this port two years ago.

Parking for a cruise is from 12:30 to 3pm. We had 12:30 appointment, but the terminal was already full on the first 4 levels. We had to park at the very top. They shouldn't allow people to park before their allotted time. Also huge hassle having to put your license plate tag number in a machine to pay. There were 5 oversized vehicles parked over the line, taking up 2 spaces. Will not go back again. New Orleans cruise terminal is much superior.

Our family has sailed out of Port Canaveral and Miami but we liked this cruise terminal best mostly because it's small and simple. With just one ship and cruise line sailing out of here right now there's no traffic mess and the people are very friendly. Only complaint is the cost of parking and limited competitive options.

The food was bad and there wasn't a lot of entertainment. I got bored and I shouldn't have. We didn't get to go to the beach in cozumel because it rain. They should have taken us to another island where there was no rain. If the forecast says rain they should have given us another option, so I was disappointed. I want go out of mobile again unless they get a bigger ship with good entertainment and better places to go. They need to please the customer and not worry about just making money.

Went on carnival cruise out of mobile port was able to get through customs and bag checks fairly quick considering how many people were also there. When we got back my kids and I had trouble getting a hold of out right and several of the porters tried their best to help us one gentleman actually called for and paid for myself and 3 teenagers a uber to take us where we needed

The overall process of getting on the cruise ship was good...wished we didn't have to wait in the cold in a very long line. The reruns was clean and well organized. Majority of the staff were pretty cool. Would definitely leave out of that port again.

There was a delay due to fog...not having terminal access was an extreme inconvenience to those who were stuck outdoors...There should be a convenience location for the customers prior to boarding. Additionally, the parking was VERY complicated and confusing...the process could be streamlined. The employees were amazing!

They've done a nice job at renovations to bring Carnival back. Place is clean, people friendly, and they move the masses through quickly to the ship. They also handle debarkation nicely getting the luggage back to travelers with minimum delays. Easy in and out

Cruise terminal is in good condition. However, there is not good directions to get into parking deck. Train always comes just prior to arrival time at port for the first group to process at the terminal. DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY. Train usually leaves close to 11:00 AM.

We got in and out pretty quickly. It was a little chaotic initially getting out of the car. Maybe because it was our first time and we didn't know what to do or what to expect. They have people ushering you in and grabbing your bags. The lines we're a bit long but they moved along quickly. Everyone was very friendly. My advice is to just please have your paperwork already out and in hand and you will move through quicker. Keep it out until you get on the ship.

I heard it is not normally like this but I can only give a review on what I experienced. Terrible from the moment I arrived! First off I took a cruise which used this terminal to board. The cruise line give you a fake oss boarding time, which means nothing (yeah Iam venting) Traffic was crazy, we had to sit there in traffic for about an hour hungry waiting to park, held up by the railroad system. Even if it was not the terminal that cause this disaster, staff should do better to coordinate rail work and cruise departures/arrivals . The terminal aint nothing fancy just a building with space where staff use ropes to guide you where you need to go.

This is a great terminal, there were of course lines to board & depart the boat, but they moved very quickly & were very organized. The employees were very friendly and helpful. This was our first cruise and the lady checking our documents gave us some advice and tips about our specific boat (Carnival Fantasy). When we returned from our cruise the lines through customs moved very quickly & efficiently. They had ample employees to get everyone through the terminal quickly & in an organized fashion. The man who helped us with our bags was OUTSTANDING! He was very friendly & took our luggage & (numerous) bags on a cart, guided us through the crowded terminal & quickly found a shuttle for all of us to board while making sure our bags were all accounted for & on the shuttle with us. I highly recommend this terminal to cruisers!

The port was user friendly and easy to navigate. The app they used made paying for parking a breeze. The cost was $70 plus for 4 days, this could have been cheaper. The parking spacing are tight, so I wouldn't recommend parking your best vehicle here due to the closeness of the vehicles. The staff members were incredibly accommodating and polite. The proximity to the entrance to board the ship was just a short walk, very convenient.

Worst Port ever!!! DO NOT PORT OUT OF HERE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!!! We were leaving out of Mobile for cruise to progresso and Cozumel and this port is terrible. Traffic was terrible going into the port. It took us over 30 minutes to get a mile down the road. It is a cluster f@&k. No traffic lights to keep traffic moving and they have trains that run all times of day that block entrance into the port. We will never leave out of here again. It was our FIRST and LAST time porting out of Mobile!!!

The cruise terminal and employees were wonderful. The parking is a $hit show. Total disaster. On top of poor management, there is construction with no signs. I got an email at 9am stating "Your parking at P2603 has started." Drove around and around, found my way to garage at 9:45am and was told it didn't open until 10am. To be fair, that's what the web site said also. Came back at 10:10am and then was told it didn't open until 10:15am. At 10:20am we were allowed in. The porters were great and not greedy and aggressive like Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, and Jacksonville. Terminal had really good a/c, unlike Miami. Got right on the ship. Nice job Carnival

This was my families 3rd cruise and the first one out of this port. I have to day they are streamedlined and so quick to get you from your parking spot to the ship in a safe manner! I highly recommend prepaying for parking prior to leaving for this port as it made this experience so much better.

Our cruise was delayed due to fog, but the staff was ready and prepared despite the massive amount of people they had to get on the boat in what became a very short amount of time. They were friendly and quick, the building clean, and the layout was very organized. They were very accommodating with my mom's wheelchair bound friend.

Fast and efficient processing once inside. Parking garage was easy to use, but a bit of a wait. We did not check our bags and were carrying on all our luggage. I didn't like that there wasn't a separate line for that. But the quickness inside more than made up for it. Car was secure while we cruised. Leaving was a lot easier than I thought because the cruise line staggers departures so not evryone at once is trying to get out of the parking garage.

The absolute worst cruise port I have ever left from. My arrival time was 12 noon. When I got there were Very few parking places. They let people in to park, no matter when they're reliable time supposed to be. I counted at least six oversized vehicles that were taking up 2 spaces and only paid for 1 space. Evidently it's okay with this cruise terminal for some to park way over the lines. They had no well thought of way to pay for parking. YOU had to take a picture of YOUR TAG go to a kiosk, put in your information and pay there. Really long lines and a waste of time. It was very chaotic and disorganized when I finally got inside the terminal. I will never, never, ever go back to Mobile. The inmates are running the asylum....

Getting to the terminal was easy and parking was more than adequate. There were parking attendants everywhere with smiles and on point directions if you needed it. Police presence was great, friendly, extremely helpful...it put my mind at ease. I wish every port was like this one

Unfortunately when we were there they were running behind due to a train blocking the terminal but I think they could have been better prepared for the issue. We waited almost 2 hours to enter the parking garage while others who drove up were directed almost straight in, this was mostly due to local law enforcement but the terminal traffic people weren't any better. Otherwise the terminal was nice, they have an easy to use parking app and we were processed in pretty quickly.

I had an incredibly bad experience when we were boarding. Very rude staff that blamed my daughter for one of their staff not getting her info typed into their system properly. On the other hand. The customs agents were very polite and courteous. So, I guess it is luck of the draw.

This is probably the nicest cruise terminal that I've ever frequented, and I am a seasoned cruiser. I am knocking off one star because the cruise facility really needs to fix the parking situation. Unless you contact Carnival early enough to get an early check-in time, you WILL be parking off-site and will be bussed over to the terminal. Wait times are ridiculously slow and given the age demographic of typical cruisers, it is even slower because of the added hassle of the transportation. If you're reading this Cruise Terminal Adminstration: please build more on-site parking.

Cruise Port Parking Lot gets full very quick! Prices are a little on the Steep side, but it's the only game in town. The process of getting on the Ship was quick, and the immigration process once you get off the boat was quick as well!

Of all the ports and terminals Ive boarded from, this is undoubtably the worst. Officials bark orders at drivers passengers and pedestrians with impunity. They forced my four year old granddaughter and family to leave the terminal, because they were not allowed to wait for me to pick them up. The boarding process was chaotic at best.

I was very impressed with this terminal! First, we arrived and we're in the ship in less than 30 minutes. That never happens in New Orleans. It was almost as smooth on the return!! The stewards were helpful, informative and exceptionally friendly. They offered assistance but for the act of kindness not for a tip, except for one. Their process was clean and precise rather than cumbersome. Everyone seemed to work together. Can't wait to go out of Mobile again.

They have further streamlined the process. The biggest holdup now is that people won't follow instructions. Everyone wants to be the next one in every line. Parking a car seems simple enough but when three cars are trying to park in consecutive spots at the same time, you can imagine the chaos. Inside, there are many customs kiosks, all staffed and each with an electronic reader. Pics are taken, paperwork/passports checked, and you're headed to the Lido deck for your first gorging session. Sail and sign cards are waiting for you on your cabin door. That line has been completely eliminated. From arrival to full of food in half an hour. When I left from this same port in 2010, this process took over two hours.

For departures it seemed a bit slow, but I'm sure it was the excitement of the cruise. Coming back through arrivals was quick. I had no problems with the alcohol I bought while in Mexico. I was pleased to find my vehicle in the same shape as I left it.

This is one of the smallest cruise ports I have been to; but the staff was very nice. The port would never be able to handle a larger ship unless it were to undergo ahuge rebuild. The parking garage is barely big enough to house all the cars for one ship (and honestly I think it has overflow parking too). The traffic on the roads around it is atrocious, though well directed by police/security, on embarkation days. The terminal itself is clean enough, but I have seen security have random issues with the checkpoint hardware. The Carnival Fantasy currently in port has finally changed to the get-your-stateroom-key-at-your-room format, which makes the boarding process much faster (and less confusing).
