*Surf Side Shores 2803 (June 2019)* Our vacation was wonderful from beginning to end. This condo was perfect for our family of three with cute decor & all that we needed. I really appreciated the building had a designated area to leave beach chairs, etc. vs. hauling them up & back to unit. So convenient! Our weather was nice & the water felt great. We’ve been vacationing in Gulf Shores for years & we really enjoyed this stay, this condo & this rental agency. Gulf Shores Rental was refreshing to deal with from our late check-in to anything we could have needed. The “Stay and Play” was a nice perk too as my husband played golf 2 days & he didn’t spend a dime (which is not how it usually goes). Will we do it again? Stay in GS, rent this condo & use this rental agency? Yes. Definitely. ✅

We were longterm renters, snowbirds. This 3 bedroom condo was perfect for a long stay. Very well equipped kitchen which was important to us. The condo has been well maintained and very clean upon our arrival. The beds were comfortable and the decor pleasant. Plenty of seating in the living and dining area. There were a few issues that required attention and Gulf Shores Rentals had excellent response times and satisfactorily addressed them. They were very easy and pleasant to deal with. Very much customer oriented. Will be back again next year!

Cute house and great location. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Our only two items were: The basement bedroom area was a bit musty but that could easily be resolved with a humidifier. Also The stairs from basement laundry, shower bathroom ^ bedroom were a bit steep at the top to step into the main level. Would rent this home again though for another vacation. Stayed in Legacy room 702 and loved it. The beachy decor is perfect! The biggest problem with 702 was the second bedroom having two windows to the elevator corridor. It was lit up like daylight at night and the couple using that room couldn't sleep well. There should be room darkening shades installed or the elevator corridor should have motion lights installed so they only come on if someone comes off the elevator and then shut back off after a couple of minutes. Reservations and check in through Gulf Shores Rentals went very smoothly and we would definitely rent with them again.

Our family had a wonderful time in Gulf Shores! Beachfront condo 603 was perfect for our family of 5. The condo was very clean, in a great location and just steps from the beach. Full kitchen and washer/dryer were a plus! We will definitely be back!

My family and I stayed at this condo in July 2018 and I was so upset that this condo is in terrible shape. The air did not work in the master bedroom, the master bath shower nozzle is hanging from the wall, the master bed is broken, and it was just dirty. It was so unclean that I took a shower with shower shoes and would not walk on the floor at all barefoot. I would've have left but after paying I said lets just hack it out and stay busy. After a couple of days we were all out and came back to a major flood in the kitchen/dining room. The air conditioner had some issues and I called the number for emergencies and someone came and tried to fix it and stayed until 12:00 AM. According to him looking at it this is something that has been going on for a while. They had to bring in professional dryers just to get all the water up which he had to leave overnight for it to dry. (it was super loud) I have stayed in this condo for a long time but not this particular room. I have never rated anyone low but as I look back at one post already I feel like something should be done so this does not happen to anyone else.

Everything was clean and as advertised, except they didn’t inform us that the only elevator in the condo (the westwind) was scheduled to be out of order for two months, starting on our last day. Thankfully A couple that own one of the condos at the west wind informed us, so we were able to load up our stuff the night before. Six flights of stairs with a four-year-old and all of our luggage (which we overpacked of course) would’ve been very aggravating. I feel like they should have disclosed that information, because chances are I would’ve picked a different condo complex.

My family and myself checked into Island Tower 1903, 521 West Beach Blvd., Gulf Shores, AL 36542 on Saturday, June 24th and stayed for a week. We rented this property through Gulf Shores Rentals. This was our first time using Gulf Shores Rentals and it will be our last. Upon getting all of our luggage to the condo and getting all settled I submitted a request online regarding the condition of our room. Basically it was filthy. After submitting the request we continued to find more and more things wrong or not cleaned. On Sunday the 25th a woman from Gulf Shores Rentals called my husband regarding the request and we were informed that the room was cleaned prior to our arrival and the things were complaining about were deep clean issues. She said someone could come out again to clean but we would need to move all of our stuff and basically it would be cleaned in the same fashion it was cleaned prior to our arrival. We said never mind and she made a point to say that we were refusing service. It wasn't that we were refusing service...we were refusing to have our time wasted if they were not going to clean anything. I wish I would have taken more pictures before we cleaned some things ourselves like of the hair hanging from the smoke alarm and the clumps of hair behind all the doors but we had to vacuum and do some cleaning in order to be able to stay here for the entire week. I don't know about most people but for me to be able to relax I like things to be clean and in order. I can not relax in a dirty filthy atmosphere especially when I am paying over $3,200 a week to relax. The furnishings were very nice in the condo although they were dirty and not taken care of. The bed spreads were disgusting. The pictures online do a good job of making them look warm and welcoming but anything that was white or cream colored was gray and dingy. There are tons of throw pillows but no actual pillows to sleep on. In the master bedroom we pulled the covers back and the bed was not even made. The sheet was there but not even on the bed. In the bedroom with the queen bed the sheet came off the bed and we found blood on the mattress pad cover which obviously hadn't been washed. I opened up the master closet to put my clothes away and there were mattresses in the closet with visible stains on them. Basically every where you sat or looked it was gross. I could not relax at all unless I was out of the unit. The pictures online of the unit make the unit look amazing but it is not amazing when it is disgusting!!!!!!!! This was the dirtiest condo I have ever stayed in and would never never recommend Gulf Shores Rental if this is what they consider clean.

Worst property I've stayed in (2797 W. Beach Blvd - Steve's Rolled Tider. Filthy, mattresses with urine, dirty underwear in drawer of in-laws room, floors had to be mopped, furniture falling apart, washer broke on the second day and cabinet doors falling off. It is not well maintained. Owner needs to find a new management company asap. Donna basically accused us of urinating on mattresses and making floors dirty when I brought this to her attention.She stated that it had a deep clean in January and no tenants since December 2017. This is not possible with the state this property was in. The cleaning lady said their were back to back tenants. So I don't know which one was lying. I have a son with DS who doesn't like to wear shoes due to sensitivity, within minutes of arrival his feet were so dirty, I had to bath him. He had to have several baths or foot washes daily until I could stand no more and called to have the floor mopped. My husband's parents were done when they found the dirty women's underwear in the nightstand of their room. They left at 1am to go back home because it just wasn't up to their standards. I didn't find out they were gone until the next morning and when I spoke with them later on they informed me why they left. The next day my niece asked me to come figure out what the smell was in her room. I realized her bed smelled like urine. When I pulled back the sheets, you could see the stains that had obviously been there for quite some time and it smelled of urine. Donna's response: a mattress cover and pad. I'm sorry. but that doesn't help. Because no matter what, you are asking us to sleep in someone else's urine. When I checked out, showed Beverly pictures....I was told management would call. i haven't heard a word. I've stayed in many VRBOs and never had any issues. This was really disgusting. If we could have gone somewhere else, we would have. We couldn't even go home because our home was being renovated so we were stuck! No way this is worth $700 per night. I will never rent from them again. Overpriced and unclean pretty much sums it up. I feel that I've been cheated. Response : I explained in my post that I didn't call til I couldn't take the dirty floors any longer. Ask your cleaning service how dirty the towels were that she used!!! They were black. Absolutely filthy. I didn't demand compensation, I just don't feel that what I paid was worth it. I was trying to juggle children and making sure my home was being repaired so I called when I needed too. I was given a late check out because we woke up late. That has nothing to do with the fact that the condo is falling apart and you had a sleeping on a pissy mattress which you tried to accuse us of urinating on indirectly. You stated that you had a deep clean in January. There is no way that is possible with the filth that we encountered. I am not the only review that discusses the filthy conditions. I also asked for another unit which you didn't have. So just because you are wording your response in a way that makes it seem like you did so much, your customer service, Donna was horrible. Beverly and Carly were so much better than you were in understanding the problems.

Nothing but good things to say about the agency. Check-in was efficient and provided all the info we'd need for our 6 week stay. The condo was tidy and well stocked on our arrival. We had a few minor issues during the stay (dead batteries in one of the TV remotes and 2 light bulbs that burnt out and we got replacements from the office.) The phone stopped working and the clothes drier took forever to dry (pinched dryer exhaust) and handyman responded within a few hours.Highly recommended.

Our 2 month stay @ unit 2401 Surfside was wonderful and very enjoyable. The unit is very well appointed and decorated. We experienced & reported 2 minor problems during our stay and they were fixed the very next morning by the very pleasant and efficient Glen. The building itself is cleaned by an efficient large staff of ladies and also the maintenance crew that came by with a contractor to check and correct any problems with the sliding patio doors, and who replace the furnace/air conditioner filters on a regular monthly basis. We appreciate the great office staff, and cleaning and maintenance crew. Please extend our thanks to the owner for making this particular unit for rental. We have already reserved the unit for next winter and left our deposit with you.

We stayed at The Cove in unit 212A July 3-7 2018, it is very clean and can sleep 6 comfortably. It's across the street from the beach. We loved the fact that Pier 33, a grocery store/beach shop is right next door. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

The unit was very clean. However, the beds were not good. Both mattress' need replaced. The king mattress caused you to roll off the edges while the queen caused you to roll to the center. The unit appears to have never been updated since it was built, possibly in the 80's or 90's. That didn't bother us, but something everyone should know. We had to turn the hot water valve on under the sink to get the dishwasher to work, something that everyone might not know to look for. The unit does not have a balcony in case that is important. We enjoyed our stay, except for the beds.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the birdcage! The unique design of the house provided an exceptional view from every room. The home was clean & comfortable. The "pet friendly" aspect appealed to us as well. It was the perfect getaway for my husband, our dogs and me! We were looking for a relaxing vacation & it's location was far enough away from the main part of town to provide just that. GSR made every aspect of the of the trip a pleasure. Prior to booking, all my questions were answered via email in a timely fashion. Checking in was a breeze. And mobile "check out" couldn't have been easier! I am so thoroughly pleased with Gulf Shores Rentals. Michael, Linda, Beverly, Rachel, and even the office mascot, "Lucky", have been more than helpful in any situation. Everyone is easily accessible and have made me feel, on several occasions, that I am their number one priority! They truly care about customer satisfaction! More specifically, the cleaning/housekeeping crew is meticulous! We recently stayed in Island Tower 802 for the Thanksgiving holiday week and there were more than enough towels, every surface was spotless and dust free, and there was not a single grain of sand on the tile floor. I don't know how they do it with a condo right on the beach but it was sparkling clean and had a pleasant, fresh smell! I'll definitely come back to Island Tower 802 and use Gulf Shores Rentals to book it. 100% satisfaction!!

We stayed at lagoon run unit 3 it was great until the 4th night we had issues with the ac it took 3 phone call to finally have some one come out to fix it and said it was good until the 5th night we had to sleep in 83 degree house which was miserable and they could care less they just said thanks for letting them know so I will never rent from this company again all they care about is money not the renters they didnt say sorry or refund some of our money or nothing they was just wondering if we left yet so they could clean the house I feel sorry for who ever was coming in after that so yes they suck

I would rate my rental less than 5 stars! When we arrived at the condo at 6:00 pm, the elevator was broken, and we had to lug our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The elevator has been sketchy the entire week, sometimes it works sometimes not! The entire condo was filthy, mold in the fridge, and the entire side was dirty. The cold air return was clogged with dirt and dust, lamps that did not light, broken tile, doors that did not lock, and the baseboards were black! The dishwasher was not anchored into the cabinet, so tipped forward every time it was opened, the light over the table so dirty we could write our name on the glass. The list goes on and on. I will say that when we did report the problems to the office, they did send out people to TRY to fix the problems, and some were addressed, however you cannot fix that many problems in 20 mins. There were not even enough parking spaces, so we were addressed to park in the owners covered parking, but had to move the vehicle by 10:00 am. The entire condo needs refurbished, the pictures published were very misleading, and I cannot stress how dirty it was. Others in our building were also complaining about the condition of their rentals, one lady even said her dishes were dirty. I would NOT recommend renting this condo, however the beach was very nice, and enjoyed to location.

They offer great rates, free night specials and a great amenities package for those who want to be active; fishing, golfing , taking the kids to Waterville or the Track. Terrible management company! We had booked a rental property with Gulf Shores rentals 2 months prior to our trip over fall break and they called me the Monday evening before we were supposed to leave on Saturday to cancel our trip. Supposedly the owner of the condo had some sort of family illness and blocked out booking availability of the condo from October2018- March 2019. Doesn’t really make sense, my guess is some snowbirds wanted to rent the condo through the winter and they canceled on us last minute. They offered to reserve another unit for us that was in Gulf Shores instead of Orange Beach where we were booked, but that unit was much older, not updated and only had a queen in the master bedroom. The reason we booked the original condo in Orange Beach is because it was next door to our uncle’s condo. They also tried to call other management companies to see if they had any oceanfront 3 bedroom units, but they weren’t able to find any this close to the date of the trip. We ended up finding one on our own, but had to pay $1000 more for a unit that wasn’t nearly as nice! They should have offered to pay the difference in price since the reservation was cancelled inside of their cancellation policy! If we had canceled on them we wouldn’t have gotten our money back! When I asked what they could do to help us out I was told that we were getting the money we already paid back. No kidding!!!! We weren’t the ones who cancelled!!! Be ware!!! They will let owners cancel on you at the last minute and you will be left scrambling to find a place to stay!!!

Gulf Shores Rentals has been our management company for years now. We have worked with other management companies in the past, but believe me, Gulf Shores Rentals is by far the best in our book. Their management fees are in line with those of others, but where they really shine is in making you feel like you are a member of the family. Here are some of the positives: *They stay on top of the maintenance needs that arise and the maintenance fees are very reasonable, much more so than other companies we used in the past. Example: need a light bulb changed? You will get charged about $2 or less for the light bulb and NO show-up fee! Need new batteries in the remote? Same story. Now THAT'S good service! *They don't 'nickle and dime' you to death with unexpected fees. They do what needs to be done to keep your unit in tip top shape but don't dream up ways to charge you for things you don't need. *They have very talented staff and will do absolutely ANYthing for you that comes up as a need in your unit, big or small. They will schedule a major repair, suggest ways to make your unit more appealing to guests if you ask them to, and help you achieve that look. If need be, they will scour their favorite decor stores, find the perfect piece for you, and get it into your unit, all with no fuss and in speedy fashion. *Housekeeping is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I think they must have a magic wand to keep the units so clean, even at the peak times. Read the reviews! People are always commenting on how clean the units are. The guest forms an impression of your unit in the first few minutes of arriving and housekeeping is a huge part of that. *They give us peace of mind. We know they are there to handle whatever comes up with aplomb and in a timely manner. We live miles away. I am so glad I have them representing us for whatever might come up that needs attention. *Behind the scenes, Gulf Shores Rentals is wonderful as well. The staff knows us by name and they genuinely welcome us each time we walk in the door. More than just business partners, they are our friends. I just can't think of a nicer compliment than that, and I can't recommend them enough.

It is spacious, neat & clean, has been kept updated over the years, and is a great price. Smaller condominium building, so not so crowded on the beach.

We really enjoyed our time in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. The Bluewater Condos were very nice and comfortable. Gulf Shores Rentals made it easy to book and enjoy our time at the Shore.
