Traveling home to Canada from our Texas Vacation. We try to stop at all Welcome centers to record our trip. This one was extremely interesting, love the theme "Sweet Home Alabama" ! The sweet ladies Mary & Elizabeth were wonderful to talk to. Everything you need is there. It was early April with Easter approaching , decorations everywhere..so neat. I bought Sweet Home Alabama sweatshirt...love it. On to the facilities..restrooms were clean as were the grounds. Keep up the good work...Tourism ambassadors!! C & D

My husbands Semi was broken into (April 26th 2017 at 2:30 am) while he was sleeping in it! The person broke the driver side window and stole his jeans right off the seat before he could even sit all the way up.

This Alabama rest area is a good p(L)ace to re(S)t and catch some m(U)ch needed zzzz's on a very long drive. Bathrooms are clean, area is kept up nicely. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I'm not a Bama fan

Unlike Biloxi MS Welcome center, No coffee to offer visitors. It had plenty of people working/there( 2women behind counter, 1 man seated talking about things going on in neighborhood(guns) with the 2 women and on other side by rr 1 woman behind counter). It is clean and one side of restrooms was closed off. The men's rr was ok in appearance.

It's really nice. Hard to see from the interstate. It's clean, beautiful trees. If they would cut out some of the trees, it would be great view from the interstate and great place to stop on your travels. Be sure to go in and visit with the ladies (Gerlena & Belinda) inside.
