Many positive experiences with DSU! However, I have a caution to share. They have on a number of jobs confirmed my assignment, then shortly afterwards they send a "disregard assignment" email canceling my services. The reason stated is the assignment has "recently been filled or changed". This complicates my reply to other agencies requesting services. However, I want to be fair and state that I have made some significant “goofs” in scheduling with DSU. To their lasting credit they have always been very understanding and gracious in their responses. I wish them continued success!

I initially requested service online and did not receive a response. I called and once I got somebody on the phone things got moving. The day of the event the second interpreter did not show up. It has been 2 weeks and I have not received any follow up or an invoice, other than repeated requests to submit a review. Perhaps they are very busy because I'm not sure how many places provide this service, but the communication has not been as good as I would have hoped.

As an IC, I have had only positive experiences working with DSU They have always been easily accessible by phone to respond quickly when questions or issues come up at the last minute, and they have consistently responded quickly to email messages as well. They provide all of the information I like to have about the assignments I accept, they are very organized, their billing system is easy to use, and I have never had a problem with late payments. So far I have nothing negative to say about this agency.
