This is place that has forgotten the customer courtesy, maybe because of the new personal which I doubt. It is hard to identify the root of the issue with certainty without misjudging. Terefore in an effort to be objective, I can definitely attest that there is much that can be done to protect the customers. I can understand they have a great product, but still there much to improve. I also understand that not always the meet an easygoing clientele. We are talking about well prepared individuals, whom might come asking for their product with the most demanding aptitude and some without a truly appreciation of the fact that they have to proof their talents in this new country. Despite all the above, I cannot understand how come there is no a sense of customer courtesy in their website instructions or from their front window personnel. Although I do recognize their thoroughness and magnificent work during the verification process and the final product I suggest they start working on improving the way they treat their customers. Make us feel that you are helping us be successful in this country without a cold talk or rudeness. Thank you, for your great product.

I am completely dissatisfied and disagree with evaluation this company provides, and I explain why. First, I already have a job in higher education institution in the United States on the level of research associate (PhD level) and am a permanent resident of USA. In fact, evaluation made by these people was not required for my current job and per se could not make harm for me. In particular, I paid them to evaluate my Lomonosov Moscow State University specialist diploma (5 years full course of higher education) and my candidate of science diploma (PhD equivalent). I graduated in 2000 with diploma with honors (75% and more excellent marks). Lomonosov Moscow State University is the best university in Russia. In my transcript I had 7784 hours including 4857 classroom hours. Although they were informed that the year I entered the university (1995) and graduated from it (2000), the Russian educational system only started to apply master/bachelor degree programs, and the Chemistry Department of Moscow State University awarded that time ONLY specialist degree, these people ignored the reality of the Russian educational system from that time and told me that my degree was equivalent to a bachelor, and to get master I needed an additional year of study that was not possible (not in accordance with the Russian Law) because that time the specialist degree was the highest higher education degree in any Russian university, with the next higher step being a doctoral (candidate of chemical sciences) program. In other words, that time any additional one year program simply did NOT exist (I have an email letter from evaluator Alexandra Lopez, approved by her supervisor Polina Lippman, in which they write that I had to complete additional year, which is not true according to the Russian Education Law). Moreover, because Ms. Lopez decided to evaluate my degree as a bachelor, she proportionally recalculated my classroom hours (4857) in credits (ca. 160-170) without providing any official document to make this decrease in credits. They assigned arbitrary that amount of credits just to make them corresponding to their incorrect bachelor evaluation!!! In her evaluation, Ms Lopez writes: "In order to be accepted into the doctoral program at Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, applicants must have completed a FOUR or five-year undergraduate degree program at an accredited institution of higher education in Russia. This is the equivalent of US bachelor's degree..." This is NOT true, because in order to be accepted into the doctoral program at Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, applicants must have completed FIVE years of education which might be done only by successful completion of specialist degree (in 2000, in particular), or specialist or master degree now (much latter than in 2000, now 6 years are required, but the law is NOT retroactive, and this norm is NOT applicable to my case). If an individual completed now (after implementation of bachelor/master system in Russia, which happened in any case after my graduation in 2000) only bachelor program (4 years), this individual will never be accepted to doctoral program in Russia. So theses people evaluated my credentials as bachelor and PhD instead of bachelor+master+PhD. They also did not return immediately $40 that I paid them for graduate GPA. I needed to remind them to do this. I submitted my documents on 6/4/2019, and only today (7/5/2019) after writing them, I got message that I will be refunded. Russian immigrants be very careful and use appropriate evaluating service because this company will evaluate the best Russian universities 5-year specialist degrees (awarded before introduction of bachelor/master programs in Russia) as a bachelor degree in US. Do NOT use their "service", you were warned!

I went to their office to submit my documents and the waiting time was just about 15 min, the receptionist was very nice and the whole process was quick. Just for a reference, the evaluation took the full 10 business days and it took 4 calendar days for the mail to arrive. They did a very good job at researching my college. First I will suggest do not go with this associates for Evaluation. They have zero knowledge on international certificate evaluation. I have done my British degree evaluation. I have Upper second class (2:1) on my bachelor degree and they have assessed USA grades equivalent 60-69%. She listed USA equivalent 60-69% grades is B+. And then they assessed my CGPA 2.75. in USA standard CGPA comes to B-. I am surprised :) how poorly they evaluate grades. **** I will recommend any officials should take this company out of their list for educational evaluation companies since they are clearly incapable and have NO experience evaluating a professional degree.

DO NOT CHOOSE JS&A FOR YOUR DOCUMENTS EVALUATION! I should had researched better this company before hiring them to perform an evaluation of my academic credentials. Unless you have extra money in you pocket to pay for fees over fees, and time to argue with them, DO NOT choose to use their service. On December 2018 I hired them to evaluate my high school credentials since the college I was transferring to requested it to be done. Because I was running short of time, I went with the least expensive one that they recommended. The contract is long, but I took the time (that I did not really have) to read it through, and make sure this would satisfy my need at the moment. After reading it, I made the payment to get a High School Document by document ($90,00), and an Extra Evaluation Report ($20,00) done. The next day I mailed them my original and only documents I had for the evaluation. After a while, I got the evaluation back, but I noticed that my originals were not in the envelope. I contacted them, and the response was that i had not paid another $20,00 fee to a Secure Return of documents. I went back to read the contract again, and it does not say that this is mandatory otherwise I won't get my documents back. What is bizarre is that to send my the evaluation document, they didn't need to send in a Secure method - meaning, if the post office lost it, they wouldn't be responsible for it. Which they make it very clear in the contract that they hold no liability in the case of lost or damaged academic credentials EVEN if you pay the $20,00 fee. I emailed them again and explained that it is not made clear about the whole Secure means of mailing documents, and the response I got was unprofessional to say the least. My documents are international and that's why I needed the evaluation. I cannot simply go back to my high school in my Home Country and get a copy of it. Unreliable, unprofessional, and untrustworthy company!

Plz staying away from them especially evaluator Gian M. Inchauspe a horrible one he is totally unprofessional. They just had your money for nothing. refusing to communicate with you especially their supervisors if you tried to submit a complaint they just ignoring it. Their evaluators are unprofessional and very rude. Their costumer service useless. After they took 220 $ from me they never finished the report I missed my application deadline and paid double the amount to get it ready by another institution they refused to refund my money. I wasted one month trying to communicate with them in order to solve the issue but no way. When I told my university admission representative about my experience with them he mentioned that they already stopped dealing with them because of negative feedbacks.

If there was an option to give them 0, I WILL DO IT. If you have the option to do the evaluation with another company, do it. I did my course evaluation back in 2015. In the same year I give them a call because other friends from different career, received more credits than me. Their explanation seemed reasonable: "different career, program may differ" I continue my studies, and UCF brought to my attention that they had found some discrepancies between the work of Josef Silny & Associates. I am in a unique case, were UCF took the classes but didn't give me full amount of credits since this company determined that I only had 2 credits per hour and my classes are 3-4 credits. I have 20 credits hours (2 semesters to make in electives classes in an engineering program) I made a post in Facebook to tried to take information, and I got pictures from people that was in my same class, same calendar year in Industrial Engineering, they receive 2.25 , 2.50 and 3 credits per class while I only received 2. I contacted this institution and they deleted my file because by contract they can do it after 3 years. I offered to send them a copy of what they send me and even send a transcript directly from UCF and the second in charge Polina Lippman send me a final response of only one email in discussion that my file can't be review and the conversation was over. IT DOESN'T MATTER, IF THE MISTAKE WAS MADE IN ONE YEAR OR TWENTY YEARS AGO, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE IT RIGHT!!!! This is not an entity reliable at all!!! and sooner than latter the universities will stop taking their work. I don't recommend them!!!! YOU ARE AFFECTING THE FUTURE OF THE PEOPLE AND YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!!

They did my commercial evaluation. When I went to Broward college they didn’t transfer the credits because of their fault. They don’t know how to convert them. And when I spoke with some advisors and the ones in charge of transfer the credits at BC, they told me that this company was literally trash!!!! I wish I had known this before trusting in this company! Don’t do it with them!! It’s cheaper than others but you will have to do it again.

Payed hundreds of dollars for evaluations, sealed envelop and GPA. When I arrived to claim my evaluations they gave me the sealed envelope without a copy of my original transcripts. Since it was a sealed envelope I didn't know they were missing until my university contacted me telling my transcripts were incomplete. This caused me time and money since I live about an hour away from their office. Plus the people at the front desk are kinda rude, you just feel they don't want to speak with you. I know im not the only one that feels this way because almost everyone that goes there and waits in the lobby expresses their frustration with this company. If you can, take your money and time to another location. By the way they charged $15!!! to pick my evaluated papers at their offices. edit: Two stars because they resolved my issue the same day I called.

If I would have read review before I would have never use their services. I did my evaluation back in 2008, after asking them for revised copy they said they don't keep the records over 3 yrs. but they have my old email ID with them. so I have to do reevaluation which is fine. but they didn't bother to inform me about missing information and not even ready to tell the eligibility, and also not providing any information before they charge you . one of the worst agency.

Paid for expedited service weeks later nothing came so I contacted them and come to find out they mailed it to the wrong address. This is the second time I use their service. Everything was perfect. The staff is very accommodating and they answered all my emails almost immediately. The documents were ready on time and I was satisfied. I have read the reviews and I didn't have any issues. As an immigrant you need to adapt to the rules of your new country, don't expect the opposite. So yes, your 5 and 6 years degrees from your countries will be evaluated as bachelor degrees. It maybe doesn't seem fair, giving that the classroom hours and complexities are not even comparable with an US bachelor degree, but those are the rules and we need to adapt. I believe J&S are doing a great job and I'm grateful they are here, available to us, the immigrants.

When showed it was completed at 5th day, I went to see if they can give it time before they mail it and they told that I have to pay $15 more to pickup or wait it at home two business days later since they will mail it today. I was then told that I needed the originals. I then got the originals and return to the office where I waited over an hour. A young spanish speaking man took my papers in the back for about 30 minutes. He then return and told me that they were ok and for me to fill out the payment forms. I asked him if they were ok. He reply yes, "I had an evaluator checked them". I proceeded to pay the $320.00 he told me for a job evaluation and a college transcript evaluation. I would take 9 day to processed. I checked their website for any activity by the evaluator. NOTHING until the morning of the 9th day. she entered some update that it was ready. The information was confusing and misleading. I then called the office to speak to my evaluator and was told I could only email her. I finally was told that my credentials were did not meet the standard. I made two trips to the office and WAS told that they meet the necessary standards. I drove to the officer where I waited 1 hour to be told that I could not speak to the evaluator. I asked for a manager, a spanish gentleman came to the window to speak to me. He was not a manager. I again asked for a manager, finally a spanish lady came out. She was the customer service supervisor. I asked to speak with a manager or the evaluator for my case. She argued with me for 15 minute. I again asked for a manager of Mr. Silny who's car was parked in his assigned spot. She told me that I would have to send an email to my evaluator. At this time I was getting frustrated and left the facility. I then receive my copy in the mail the next day. After reviewing the evaluation, it was riddled with mistakes. I then send them an email with all the issued. I was told that it was the final evaluation and that I will not be changed. WORSE BUSINESS TO DEAL WITH. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THATS IT. THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENT COUNTRY SCHOOL SYSTEM. THEY DO NOT ACCEPT THEIR MISTAKES. I LOST MY MONEY AND JOB..

PUBLIC TAKE NOTE: I evaluated my foreign transcript in 2014, when i requested for a copy of this transcript sent to a college for admission purposes i was told that my evaluated transcript can only be available for three years only after which, i will have to get a new (raw) transcript from my college being sent to them. Is this not ridiculous? i was told that my original transcript will be sent to achieve after one year. I don't have any from with this; but my Evaluated Transcript should should be available for me at least for ten (10) years not 3 years. INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION EVALUATION INC, will hold your transcript as long as you needed it. And this Agency's Evaluation, is accepted both in the government and any College in the United State. If this review is not true, let any of Josef Silny team come out publicly to address this fact. After three years of evaluating my foreign transcript, why should i go back again to get a new transcript from the same College for you to evaluate again? Does that make sense? Let some one explain!! If it is a different college is understandable. This is a very serious issue for those who schooled in abroad.

I would give them zero stars if I could. They said my 4 year undergrad degree is only equivalent to an associates in the USA. They don’t reply to my emails nor do they care about their clients. If you have ANY other choice for an evaluation company, choose them. They’ll say their owner is very knowledgeable , wrote books blah blah blah. But in my opinion that’s incorrect! I read the comments and I must truly say my experience was completely opposite from most of the things I'm reading here. Hopefully and I'd like to believe my review won't change in the next few days while I wait for my university to get my results but I had a pretty smooth visit there. To add to it I went on a Friday and I'm pretty sure I spent less than 30 minutes there. I went on their website, read everything fully, been communicating with my school so I had a very good idea of what I needed to get from Silny, I filled out all the paper and the employees at Silny even pointed out places I filled out wrong that I corrected before I submitted my forms. I suppose all I can say is that it might probably help to read the site beforehand, speak with your university, find out exactly what you need to get, what other people before you did to get through the process and such(multiple sources because everyone's pool of information may vary) and then go to Silny to finalize everything. I am waiting for the completion of the service I request in this place. So this review will be temporary. So far now, the on site service was great, they helped me to complete the paperwork and explain some doubts that I had. Update Hello again, after 3 weeks I received my documents, I consider that was faster than what I expected, on the down side the envelope was damage an open when I received it.(It is not their fault, was the postal service). I wrote them and they offered me to replace them, I just had to send it back or take it back. My only suggestion, they should use larger envelopes because in the small one the documents must be bent. Overall I think I would keep the 5 stars.

Not reasonable; all about ridiculous fees and chargers. I had my transcripts translated already and only needed them to be evaluated but they have tried to charge me for translation and evaluation. I just have requested a copy of my evaluations sent sealed to the university and was told I have to start the whole process over because it has been 3 years and apparently evaluating the same document has an expiration date... don’t waste your time and money; their services are barely accepted anymore

If you can avoid doing business with this company, at any cost do so!!! I've got charged for a 12 days translation and evaluation $500, it's been a month and I haven't received it, my evaluator doesn't reply, I had to call the company 5 times for someone to actually pick up the phone...and nobody knows what's happening to my paperwork
