The management sucks, some employees have ability to interpret certain calls in medical, legal, or immigration etc. But these employees are treated unfairly, because they need to interpret more calls than others but still get the same pay. This company doesn't care how hard the employees work at this kind of company as long as the management people get lots of money in their own pockets. Spanish interpreters need to answer more calls than others language interpreters, but they only earn a little bit over $11 per hour while others are earning $15. Plus, don't show how much and how good you can do because this company loves to abuse your abilities till you realize that you are such a fool. You work so much harder than others but you still earn as little as others! Trust me, you will end up answering so many calls than others since the company found out you can do so much! They would love you do more but "don't want" to pay you more!!!! All the good interpreters already left long time ago for other better interpreting companies. Don't even waste your time to think about working for this kind company. You will have regret if you are that desperate to choose this company!

Great company concept, poor management. Great on the surface, but behind the scenes definitely needs improvement.

Worked as full-time interpreter. First supervisor was good. Second one was awful, always snooping and walking around to remind you to read her unimportant emails. Cheap! Upon my resignation, they sent me an exit survey with a promise to reward me $5 Starbucks gift-card in exchange. I filled the survey and sent back, no Starbucks gift card. I emailed the HR to ask, she ignored that email. I wrote her another email later to ask about fob and headset, she answered.

Google the company name and you'll read lawsuits amongst the owners of Transperfect. It's poorly managed which explains the very high employee turnover. If you want a stable career, positive work environment and benefits, stay away from Transperfect. I wish I could give it 0 star but google won't let me post without clicking at least 1. Do not believe the positive reviews on Indeed or Glassdoor. They are all fake! Some of the employees were asked to write something positive about the company as they are struggling to salvage their image to attract bilingual jobseekers.

I learned a lot in interpreting with the company and I had the chance to meet good people, different cultures, great benefit … only, they should increase their salary a little as a big company

Worked the JND program for equifax, easy job just basic Q&A but extremely unstable and unprofessional. When I started we just sat there for literally 3 days while we waited to get our emails. Training was a joke. Lasted 2 days with four, hour long breaks, our "script" is the FAQ section of the website. They make anyone a lead so I suggest you find the smartest one and only ask them when you have questions. And then the lay offs. They let a good 100+ people go. The first round they made it seem like some badges werent working and the door was just broke. And then oh nevermind you're all fired. THAT was wrong, some people carpool, take the bus, or drive far to be there. And then after that I think they sent emails, called a few people, and then finally just started walking around picking people during work to sign off and go home.

I work as a freelance interpreter. Among the other 17 agencies I work with, this is the worst. They have faulty equipment that disconnects you during the interpretation session, they are not able to track accurately the time of the interpretation and because of that they cut from your pay. Another issue is with the SCHEDULED phone calls. The purpose of the SCHEDULED is to secure an interpreter for a certain day and time. The interpreter who commits to this assignment MUST be prepared to take the call at the scheduled time. THE CLOCK STARTS RUNNING at the scheduled time. If the client calls later, the clock started at the scheduled time, not later! They are the ONLY LSP in the entire USA that does it otherwise. I think that it is the time to take them to court.

Bad experience all around

Every company for which I've ever worked followed the same principal: "When in doubt, ask your supervisor." That is, until I worked at Transperfect. My boss was absolutely beligerent and condescending, always acted as though you were bothering him if you had a question, or that your question was a stupid one. And so, I was often left to perform my job duties to the best of my ability with little to no concise direction, just to avoid conflict. The turnover rate is quite remarkable; The training is subpar and new hires are often were left waiting around before even taught how to log into their emails or how to work on the projects. I have witnessed fairly competent new employees resign after only a day or 2 of employment. What does that tell you about this environment here? If you are looking to apply your skills at a successful and growing company, avoid Transperfect like the plague!

Terrible company to work for, they just laid off over 100 employees because of a campaign they thought was going to need a lot more people. They make you think you have a stable income, and just let you go without notice. They send you an email with the names of who's been fired, and then deny you access to everything. That's a terrible thing to do to people.

No training they expect you to take calls without training. At all they just let u sit and do side by sides then next day you are on the phone and even if you ask a question I haven't worked that project or trying to find a manger to help. And guess what everyone is on a smoke break all day long but yet I'm taking lunch later than eberyone. I will say this not a good call center to work at at all fast hiring but no benefits you work every HOLIDAY AND NO PAID HOLIDAYS REGULAR PAY THEY DID NOT MENTION THAT. Also payday is on Mondays guess what still waiting for my paycheck and no one can tell me when they sent me a check even though. I signed up for direct deposit so now I wait for a paycheck to arrive from somewhere luckily I had something or I would be screwed!!!!! Big time I have never in my life have to go there so much to get paid. And I have never been to a center without proper training.........
