Here you will be able to see the reviews of real people who are using the products of National Historic Trails Interpretive Center (Tourist Attraction) in Wyoming area.
Nowadays the firm has a score of 4.9 stars out of 5 and the rating was based on 326 reviews.
As you can see it reaches an reviews average is practically the best, and it's based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can say that the rating is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to leave their review when they are happy with the business, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to place tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Tourist Attraction is classified in the category of History museum.
This is a MUST SEE place when visiting Casper WY! You can tell a lot of thought, research and planning went into every display. We loved how many interactive displays were there. The stories and history from all the different perspectives was so interesting and we really enjoyed learning so much about the historical trails and the region.
Very interesting place for adults and children
This is a must see!!
Keeping history alive! Interesting information and displays about and how the first adventurous people traveled the treacherous trails to the Wild West. Beautiful facility with awesome view of Casper and Casper Mountain.
Great place to visit if you're in to history
This is a MUST see if you are near Casper, Wyoming!! It is very "hands on" and best of all, free!! Donations are allowed and I hope those visiting will leave a contribution! I could have stayed longer! Very informative!!
Very well done and good information.
Great history n people in Casper, WYOMING
This is fantastic for a school trip. Jason does an excellent job and it really rounded out our Wyoming history unit.
Very informative for the entire family. Admission was free!!
Fantastic and informative (and free!)
Excellent!! Worth coming to Casper for!
Cool place to take the kids
Really fantastic museum. Very glad we stopped by. Very very well done!
It is very interesting & the kids love it!
Best Visitors Center ever. Highly entertaining and interesting for adults and kiddos alike.
Much more interesting than expected, so it is something that we were glad to stop in and visit. We learned a lot about the tens of thousands of settlers who traveled west. The hardships they encountered in six months on the 2,000 mile trail were amazing to read about. We come to respect more about both sides of the story -- including that of the Native Americans and how their land was taken.
Interesting side of history that isn't taught in school.
Interesting history of the pioneers
A modern interpretive center about our pioneers.
Great history. How our past settlers endured the hard ships of travel. Great historical artifacts and inter-active struggles of overland travel. Very informative and helpful staff. Great place for field trip.
Very interesting and well put together. Worth stopping for.
Fun and informative would definitely recommend to anyone who loves history and the Oregon trail.
Very interesting center- very informative! Definitely recommend
It was a wonderful place to take my kids. There was lots for them to do and there was great customer service. My kids loved it so much they want to go back. I especially love the exhibit about the Mormon pioneers. They were very friendly there and they had fun activities for the kids to do.
It was very educational and fun it was free to get in spent all day and their kids love playing at the museum.
Great place. A must see on your way through Casper
Fantastic Casper Gem! Free entrance, wonderful staff and volunteers, and tons of interactive options for young ones plus those young at heart. Endless learning with beautiful views of Casper!
History and educational
Beautiful facility maintained superbly. The staff is helpful and friendly too.
Very helpful staff, interesting history, especially about the Oregon trail
It was a great experience, especially for our son who just learned about the Oregon Trail in 4th grade.
Very informative! Interesting place to visit and a great place to learn about things that you might have not known about history. We are very fortunate to be living this day in age. (Great look out point also)
Best place I have visited to learn about the overland pioneers of the Mid 19th century. I found the wagon river-crossing simulator quite fun. For how much info and displays they have, there free admission is a great deal. You could spend a morning afternoon or evening at this place.
If you like history then you've come to the right place... Lots of great pictures and artifacts, great staff that treat you like family. Definitely a great place to look around and enjoy
Worth a walk through. Hard to imagine walking across the country with everything you own in a covered wagon. Great movie.
Great experience. Very helpful young man. Thankful we found this place. Loved the movie...made you feel like you were there.
We were there from Sheridan for a field trip. So entertaining that we are going back as a family. Staff was great and informative. So fun for everyone.
This place is awesome. Most go if you're visiting with kids
Spectacular! A must visit (and revisit) attraction.
Awesome exhibits! It covers the 4 trails - Oregon, California, Pony Express, and the Mormon Pioneer trails.
Well worth your time.
An interesting, fun and educational place to learn about American history and the trails that led through the area for Mormon pioneers, those heading west for the "Gold Rush", native Americans, trappers, etc. They have helpful, knowledgeable staff to answer questions. The experience is interactive through many displays. This is an awesome place for children.
my mom lives in Casper, and when we were coming to visit from out of state. she said she wanted to bring us here. We absolutely loved this place!! And if you're a history buff like me, you definitely will to!! It's basically a museum that teaches you about what the settlers went through. While travelling, if I remember correctly, mostly from St Louis to California. Which was the reason that the city of Casper was founded. They have many interesting and entertaining exhibits, showing you not only the difficulties that they went through each day. but also the hostel attitudes that many native Americans had towards them.. I really liked how they showed things from both the settlers and the native Americans points of view! it's definitely a great place to learn about the history of the area and the trails for both adults and kids alike!
A very animated park ranger introduced a short video summarizing the various westward migrations. The exhibits are organized in a circular fashion. Many are interactive. The exhibits are beautifully conceived and presented. Everybody in our group of 45 loved it.
We had honestly stopped here to get suggestions on where to eat in town, and were pleasantly surprised by all this visitors center had to offer. Our whole family enjoyed this great learning opportunity. Our kids really liked the hands on things to do, especially the "wagon ride" across the river.
Fantastic coverage of the various trails that the emigrants followed to settle the West. Worth at least three hours and I am not a history buff.
This was a random stop in our journey west and we didn't realize how historic of an area we were in until we stopped here. Several early treks west went through this area. The museum pays homage to each of them. You come away with a new appreciation for what it must have been like to make this trip in a covered wagon. The views are very pretty. Don't miss it!
Exelent exhibits
We took my 4 yr old and she absolutely loved it, it is a very amazing experience
EXCELLENT MUSEUM!!! Lots of interactive exhibits which makes it interesting to young and old alike, while still being very informative. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Park School students had a great tour. Guides very knowledgeable.
Great rendition of the historic trails our ancestors made to come west.
Great place for the family so much to learn and see simply amazing the patio talks are great
Interactive and multimedia exhibits that starts well before you’re in the building. Stop by the Pony Express buildings on the edge of the parking lots. With young kids, it was helpful that each of the exhibit area has things to keep young kids occupied while I was reading. Super friendly staff, free, and a large book selection in the gift shop.
Had an awesome time!! Such a cool place
Great experience for all ages. The folks are very knowledgeable & friendly. The Saturday kid's club is awesome too!!

Very informative about the early settlers.
A neat little museum, lots of interactive displays and things to see. Not only wheelchair friendly but they actually have wheelchairs on hand to borrow. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to pass some time in Casper. The view is amazing as well.
It's groovy! But the employees must be burnt out or something because they were extremely rude and dismissive
Excellent
A great place to learn about the area's past. They have sections about the area's native American tribes, mountain men ( my dream job as a child), and the pioneers. They also have an area with special displays they are always worth a visit. The employees are knowledgeable and there to answer questions. I go every few months.
A great spot in Casper, WY. My 6 and 9 year olds both really enjoyed it.
Very cool Museum and you can't beat the free price
Great museum depecting the settlers going west.
Awesome place and very knowledgeable staff.
Interesting and informative. Good for the whole family.
A family-oriented museum that retells the hardships of getting to the west in the 1800's. A lot of fun, with lots of things to see and touch. Definitely stay to watch the stagecoach movies (both of them) and the introductory movie in the center of the museum!
Fabulous!!! Definitely going back.

An oasis we did not expect to find. Pulled off I-25 for a pit stop and discovered this wonderful museum. Tells the story of the many pioneer trails that passed through Wyoming, Oregon, Mormon, Gold Rush, even the Pony Express and more. Free! Great hill top setting and a well designed building operated by the US Bureau of Land Management. You can spend minutes or an hour or two there.
This is a great interactive museum, nice place for kids.
I helped build the place. Very enjoyable for the family. A definite must see.

A site one should not miss. What a great museum informing US migration history and conflicts with aboriginal people.

Very clean...no charge to go here....very nice displays and a lot of information staff very nice and helpful if you have questions
We loved the trail museum. Our 3 grandsons ages 8, 9, and 10 stayed busy with the interactive displays. It was interesting and informative. The one thing that was annoying was, that the handicapped parking was a little to far for great grandma to walk. Wheel chairs were provided inside but we didnt know that at the time .
Great interactive and informative museum with the best view of Casper to boot!
Great presentation of the history of the 5 trails going through this area.
Interesting setup "in the round" that guides you along all trails passing through Casper. Knowledgeable rangers, daily lectures, beautiful site overlooking Casper.
I have visited the center many times over the years. The importance of the historical record can be sen, touched and recounted as soon as you enter.
a wonderful place to stop. outdoor exhibits, indoor interpretive displays, very friendly guides and a good view of Casper. Kids, adults, whomever, all should stop and spend time here.
Outstanding museum and interpretive programs. Very impressed with the young docents presenting to other kids! The staff and volunteers are awesome.
A great place to stop and visit. Amazing insight into the hardships settlers faced on the Oregon and Mormon trails. The staff is equally amazing, they can answer any questions one may have.
Chris has a great Museum! Love how clean and organized it is! Thanks! A must visit Montana Historical site!
Fantastic center. They do a great job presenting the history of the "trail movement" to the west. Stop here first, then explore Casper, WY. You won't be disappointed. P.S. We were in Casper for the 2017 eclipse and they were wonderfully organized for the large influx of tourists. I definitely plan to eventually return and explore further.
Very good museum to learn all about the pioneer days. They have high quality displays that are quite informative and some are also interactive too. They we're very nice
This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the journey that over 400,000 pioneers took across the frontier of the 1800s. Wonderful interpretive devices allow young and old to experience for a moment what it might have been like for those brave souls that set out with dreams for the future. It also depicts the impact that the travelers had on the native peoples that populated the plains and mountains of the West. There is a small charge to enter, but it is worth the time and money to see this exhibit.
Enjoyed this venue. A nice get off the road break.
What a beautiful museum. The history is breathtakingly presented. A must stop on the Oregon and Mormon trail.
