The mud volcano and dragons mouth spring were very awesome to see. Something a little different than the geysers and thermal vents. Worth the drive there to view.

This one is really awesome. It’s more like a gas geyser or mud volcano erupts out of the hole and you can hear the sounds through it. They give it a really good name: dragon mouth which describe this really well. It’s very close to the parking lot so you should stop by here first.

Good place. Just near the boardwalk from Mud Volcano is Dragon’s Mouth Spring. From deep cave, gasses and steam are released. A different experience to watch this place. Sometimes sound of gas release is also heard from the cave. It seem that sound is coming from an animal's mouth.

Nature is amazing and beautiful. The deep throaty noises that come from the cave almost make it seem like a dragon lives deep inside. It's definitely worth stopping to see this!

Different that most of the other sites in the park. Huge, boiling, mud holes that hiss and spue gas. Not a great smell but cool to see.

Easy to navigate and very interesting place. It's illegal to leave the walkway and walk on the ground, its very fragile, delicate and dangerous. Follow all the instructions and make yourself aware of all potential hazards.

Another great spot in Yellowstone. Parking is close by and it isn't a very far walk at all to the Dragons Mouth Spring. There's a small loop and a much larger/steeper loop.
