REVIEWS OF Biscuit Basin IN Wyoming

This was another very small basin, that I felt could be skipped if you are short on time. I visited all of the stopping points because we had plenty of time, but just trying to help out others who might be shorter on time.

Debrae Farley

Pretty pools

Anne Horner

The walk to Morning Glory across the street from the Biscuit Basin parking lot is great! These pictures are from the walk.

Patricia Houston

First snowmobile experience and Carl was the bomb! He knew his animals, hot springs history and then some. Would do this again tomorrow if I could!!!

Cynthia LeBaron

A must see on your way to Old Faithful

Daniel Fuller

Best board walk in Yellowstone. You can get so close to several active geysers that erupt every 5 minutes or so. That turquoise pool is incredible. Parking lot is a bit small.

Logan Chugg

Great small walk to see awesome pools and geysers that go off every couple minutes.

Anne Wenger

It's interesting.

Laura Saunders

Kelli Campbell

Needs a platform so you can see better, but what you can see, is very pretty

Chelsea Huber

There is a trail off this basin called the Mystic Falls trail, which I recommend (west bug spray though!) For a great bird's eye view of geysers. This basin is not as crowded as others in the park.

Lars Uyttersprot

Pete Morgan

A beautiful and tranquil walk around different types of pools, springs and small geysers. The shortish walk around Biscuit Basin is way more impressive than Old Faithful in my opinion.

Rebekka Rán Guðmundsdóttir

Fun easy walk around the basin and some of the geyser basins are so clear. Definitely a good stop and if you're lucky you might see some fish jumping out of the river.

Elizabeth Evans

Short walk on a beautiful boardwalk. The pools were stunning and there was an amazingly knowledgeable park ranger walking through ready to answer questions. Small parking area. For sure worth a stop!

Jason Daughenbaugh

The Basin itself isn't worth fighting for parking, but the hike to Mystic Falls and the Biscuit Basin overlook are great.

Shulom Ben Ruban

Don’t bring your drone here.

Cliff A nator

Natural beauty at its finest

I can’t say one bad thing about this place. It’s a must see. All the vibrant colors and complete awe of nature. I was just completely mesmerized by these thermal waters. Everything in Yellowstone is beautiful. Just see as many places as you can. You won’t be disappointed. I promise!!!

Richard Cochran

Got to check it out if you are in Yellowstone.

So pretty

Neil Riddoch

A simple beauty. Not the exciting gysers the teenagers are looking for, just some smelly colored pots for a more refined palate.

Alan Lohrke

Always spectacular!

Dwight Amstutz

We loved this area as we stopped for the hike and to reach Mystic Falls. Over 2 miles round trip to view a spectacular waterfall. I enjoy the reward for the hike. Crowded area for parking and visitors as most of the park areas are in this part of the park. Put our feet in the river after the walk and it was icy cold but refreshing. Kids loved that part.

Lauren McDonough

A must see. Great way to get up close with the hot springs! Parking is tough

Christina Hinrickson

Beautiful!!!

PRUTHVI SALVI

If you have some free time. Then this is the place.

schjoeke S.

For our hike to 'Mystic Falls' we had to go through Biscuit Basin as the trailhead is at the end of it. Sooo definitely worth seeing as "Sapphire Pool" is located at Biscuit Basin. WOW, wow and WOW! Simply beyond beauty and so amazing to see!! I thouroughly enjoyed Biscuit Basin overall with several stunning hot springs. Bear in mind that it's a very warm place to visit as are all geyser and hot spring basins. Bring plenty of water with you! Dogs not allowed on here.

Heather Chasten

Megan Caille

Such beautiful colors!

Josh Onyango

Stop here. It's worth it

Melissa Ash

This is a bit of a quieter place in the park. Everyone's heads for Old Faithful and misses these beautiful pools. They had to be my my favorite pools in the park. The contrast in the first three big pools, to each other and against the natural river next to them is stunning. The colors were the prettiest blues. I loved Biscuit Basin.

Angela Shanken

So much to see...the wonders of nature!

Nadine Mossman

Beautiful hot springs to see along a great boardwalk. The river flowing by is an added beauty. The buffalo hanging out in the nearby grassland was great!

ashwini ashu

Biscuit basin 4eally didn't get why it is named like that. But everything in Yellowstone is interesting. I have tried to name all the pool names in picture details not sure if it will be visible to all

J Johnson

Very nice area and great trail to enjoy hiking. End of May to mid June not so crowded as weather can change quickly. Great views at top of cliffs while hiking.

Mukteswar sahu

Parking lot is small however it’s a nice place to visit if you are in yellow stone. We enjoyed as a family and have some mesmerized memories of this beautiful basin which rare to find nearby neighborhood. Be cautious with kids.

This is a seemingly unadvertised part of Yellowstone but we really loved it. A must see. Many small and active geysers with lots of character. Very few visitors when we were there and when places like Old Faithful and Grand Prismatic were crowded. Easy to park and walk around. Highly recommended!
