It was fun I guess but the man was a complete jerk at moments. Me and my cousin were trying to have fun and he cept telling us to pay attention to the game. At one part my cousin was flossing and he to me to floss too but the man yelled at me so I did not. I would not go unless you can handle that. I gave it 3 stars because it was a fun experience. I understand the man had a lot to do though so I will give him another chance. And to people that say the graphics were bad well they wernt. I think he would be a very nice man If there wernt as many people to mange. I still want to say thank you for letting us have a fun vr experience.

This was our first time at a VR place. My son, his friend and me all played for a half hour and it was a blast. Staff was great, I would definitely go back next time we're in town.

The game selection and game play itself was very fun. What affected the fun was the gentleman running the place. We have a 6 and 9 year old that are generally pretty tech savy and pick up on things easily, but this gentlemen just rambled off what all the buttons do all at once and became frustrated when the kids did not immediately remember all the directions. A little more patience is needed with children and one step at a time would have been more effective rather than saying what these 10 buttons do quickly and expecting kids to remember them all. He put headphones on and sat at the computer the rest of the time and when the game froze up and needed to be restarted we had to wave our arms to get his attention. Since it was by reservation only it felt like we were causing an inconvenience for him to come on site for 1 group of customers. All in all the games were fun but the way we felt ruined it. We will not be returning.

VR Universe is well worth the trip. Fun for everyone from the advanced gamer to older newb - we all had a great time. Make sure you listen carefully to the instructions and get ready for some surprisingly intense VR gaming. Good selection of games in a decent range of genres mean everyone should find at least one or two games they like. We will be back!

All the good comments here are from their friends and family who own the place. The place is a joke, over priced and a bunch of clowns running the place with little manners. There are way better places in the Dells. Stay in your car and go down the road. Save a trip.

Went with my husband on our honeymoon . I highly recommend the full hour. We played the zombie game coop. Very good graphics . I jumped back at one point when a zombie jumped at me . Worth the money we want to go back for sure .And the guy in there is very helpful and really nice .

Arrives at 1:30 on a Monday. We were the only group there. They accepted the BOGO 50% off coupon. Very good explanation how everything works. We played for 30 minutes. WIth the coupon the total was around $35 for the two of us. Worth every penny since I had never experienced VR before. Exceptional and unique entertainment. VR Universe was very fun to say the least. Quivr, Endless Night, and Richie’s Plank Experience are all games I would recommended\\.

So i was there with michael anfang (im the cousin) and he was very mean he keepd yelling and keeps repeting the controls and it keepd distracting me but the game was fun it was called arizona sunshine it a zombie game but i just hate that he was mean it just ticked me off because if he was not so mean i would give a 5 star rating give me feed back on why you were just so mean to me and i dont know why im just playing a game nothing to be mean about but for him yes he is mean i was not remembering the controls and just screamed its the center but i did click it then told him i did then he screamed click it again then i knew i had the wrong ammo an then he screamed again the told him i had the wrong ammo then he screamed again and then keepd screaming then i just got done with it had fun game play but in mood not good.

This place was beyond fun. Words can not describe how awesome this was. Everyone that goes should expect to be tired by the time you are done. Bring water to drink as there are no water fountains. And a n Snack wouldn't hurt either.

My boyfriend and I had a ton of fun playing games with and against each other. When we went there was only one other family there so it worked out well, the attendant was able to help us out along the way when we needed it. It was a little pricey, but it was one of our favorite attractions.

Not bad. Kids had fun. Can't say the staff was overly friendly. Our kids had a game malfunction for 10 min and they didn't give them that extra time. $75 for 3 kids you'd think they would. It was so so.

We came in with 4 people to play and paid $100 for 30 min of play for everyone. That's $3.33 per minute. The owner or the coordinator took 12 minutes to set up the game and apparently set up time counts as "play" time. So we got swindled out of $40 ($3.33 *12). That is absolutely NOT ok. Play time should be actual play time not set up time however long it's going to take. Will NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone.

The gentlemen that runs this place is awesome and patient! My son has returned here everytime we come up to the Dell's! The place has multiple couches for family and friends to sit and relax whilst you wait for your gamer. It is well air conditioned and bathrooms are always clean!! Pricing is very fair and reasonable! We love it here!

A little pricey for what it is. But a super cool idea! The guy running the shop was really nice and super helpful and I give him alot of props for keeping cool with the screaming idiots some of these parents bring in. Great experience!

It was a fun experience to start the Wisconsin downtown tourism with. Was quiet when me and my boyfriend went. Pros: 1) You can make reservations ahead of time online via debit/credit card. 2) You have the option at hand (literally), to choose various VR games within your session. 3) They have a really relaxing and comfy lounging area for customers accompanied guest(s). 4) Very fairly reasonable price. Cons: The employee was alone so could not tend to me an another customer’s station at the same time. So I would say understaffed and lacks giving all customers attention, as well as on hands lessons. -Joycena M. Crump

Awesome place, guy that owns it seems like a great guy. Helpful, I think he may have even given me an extra 15 minutes with it! If you have no experience with VR, just want to try it but not buy it, or just looking for an easy way to play VR with friends, I highly recommend it!

Spent more time in the menu with the attendant, who was both somehow condescending AND incorrect in his directions. There are other VR experiences in town that are far more fun and better value. I personally recommend Kalahari indoor park, they have an area in the back with much better rates.

My boyfriend and I tried this for the 1st time during our vacation. We chose to play the Arizona Sunshine Zombie game which was really cool. We did the 1 where the horde came after us. I kept dying because I wasn't as coordinated as my boyfriend was, but it was an absolute blast! The gentlemen that helped us was so polite and friendly. I wish I had gotten his name to put it in the review because he was helpful to me when I couldn't figure the controller out. I enjoyed the entire experience. 15 minutes was more than enough for that game. If we have time to visit again before we leave, I will definitely return.

This place is amazing. I will warn you that when you walk in you might feel like you should turn & run. Don't. The equipment and personal is top notch. Spent an afternoon with large group. I hurt so bad the next day from the continual up and down dodging arrows...so funny.

I went to VR universe with a friend a few times this year, because we wanted to check it out and see how the technology was progressing, and what kind of games there were. I was surprised by how thoroughly I enjoyed myself! You pay by time, but you can change games as often as you want. We started with a beginner VR game - plank experience, a shooter game, Nature Trek, a carnival (lots of mini games), Downward Spiral (a space explorer game), and Beat Saber. I was a little concerned it would be awkward - playing a game with someone else there seeing my clumsy mistakes a etc. But I was relieved to find out that the staff, was kind, funny, encouraging, and didn't make me feel embarrassed for my mistakes. The staff knew when to give a hint, but didn't give me all the answers and let me figure things out on my own. The first time I went, I did experience some nausea, but I think it was more related to what I ate that day. They even gave me a coupon for the time I didn't use for next time I came - and when I forgot the coupon (I didn't even mention it) he remembered us and gave me the time! I was very pleased with our whole experience.

Loved this find in the middle of winter. Great to kill time and try something totally new. This is not like the VR experience you have tried before...it's entirely immersive and the games are all unique. The owner was very knowledgeable and friendly. He knew everything about each game and was able to help us newbies out when we got stuck. Would certainly go back. They are always switching up games and have something for everyone. You won't get sick or dizzy. The camera for each eye helps your sense of equilibrium and the guy in your group with Vertigo was fine. Definitely check them out!
