Our Lady is very much present here. Sit in the crypt until she tells you to leave. You will know. Please go. I traveled 3 hrs from Chicago. It was well worth the pilgrimage (and more).

GPS took me off the interstate way too soon! Then, I lost the signal. Should have stayed on the highway and gotten off at Dykesville. Plenty of parking, restrooms, and a cafe. An outdoor area for reflection. A chapel. A gift store. My friend traveling with me is Catholic, so for her, it had deeper meaning. However, I had injured my hand weeks before and it did start to feel better after our visit.

Really enjoyed the time spent there to pray and walk the churchgrounds. It's all beautifully well taken care of. I appreciated the prayers at 3 p.m. in the church. The gift shop has a nice selection of anything you could want.

Unbelievable experience! The shrine, church, and grounds are peaceful beyond belief... A place where a person can commune with Mary, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and feel at one with all. The history of the site is amazing as well. This is truly a place that all must visit at least once in their lifetime. We were in Green Bay for five days and visited almost every day...I will miss being able to attend daily mass and talking with the Blessed Virgin Mary in the shrine. We will absolutely return again in the future!

The *ONLY* approved Marian apparition site in the United States. It is a MUST SEE. The miracles occurring at this shrine are memorable and numerous! It is the in the middle of nowhere - farm land/rural area - so quiet and peaceful on most days.

This is a beautiful little shrine in Wisconsin. The story of the fire which burned the surrounding area but did not touch the property was amazing! A lovely place for prayer and contemplation.

The Shrine takes you out into the Wisconsin countryside where you get a real glimpse of a farming community with devout Catholics and strong religious beliefs. The Shrine is beautiful in its simplicity. I love the main Church as well as the more intimate chapel shrine in the basement (this is where you can see some of the crutches). Both are super looking

Great place to visit. Although it is the only approved Marian apparition site in North America, it is not well known. There is a visitor center which explains about the place well. It has a good size gift shop. It is about an hour driving from Sturgeon Bay area. You can enjoy beautiful scenery.

Mass is offered at the Shrine in the Novus Ordo, but retains many aspects of the Tridentine Mass. I am very thankful to the Priests for their profound reverence for the Eucharist. Communion is received at the rail, and the Body and Blood are handled with the utmost respect. Confessions are available regularly, and there were 2 Priests hearing confessions on a Saturday. The Priests remind everyone about needing to be a practicing Catholic in the state of grace in order to receive Communion. This is the perfect place for quiet prayer and renewing your faith. You can feel the indescribable presence of Our Blessed Mother throughout the Shrine grounds.

It was about 20 years ago, I went to the outdoor Mass with my Mother and George. After that I would visit the Shrine alot. I made friends with Sister Germaine. One day I just wanted a tour of the buildings. She asked me if I wanted to be a Nun, I explained to her that I had two teenage boys, however could you give me a tour, she showed me everything... We were in the rootcellarrand i saw a crucifix hanging on a nail, oh Sister Germaine look a crucifix and she did not hesitate but told me to take it, I said no, she'took it off the wall and with sterdy hands placed in my hand and said i was ment to have it. I will write more later, alot More has happened through my life..

Bring your family, a picnic and your rosary. New parking lot and Mother of Mercy Hall just built. Very accessible including outside Stations of the Cross and Rosary walk. Benches are everywhere! Daily 11:00 am Mass/Reconciliation before and after. Check website for schedule of other Devotional Prayer.

After receiving an email from an individual asking for clarity regarding my previous review of this facility I have been so inclined to edit my review since it was rather vague. Since then I went to the facilities website and clicked on the "Make A Gift" button and was rather impressed that the Sprite can I was drinking from overflowed upon they keys of the laptop. I called Pete to tell him since sprites have a way of enshrining apparitions in the world of computer graphics. That being said I sincerely believe that the town of New Franken, Wisconsin will bear witness to an aurora of the sacred nature this season. In fact I find it quite remarkable that when looking at the map that Doris road and "K" seem to lead right to the shrine, this in itself is what a term a "road Home" shrine sine my Mom's name and initial is Doris K.

Great place that surprisingly isn't too well known yet despite being the only approved Marian apparition site in North America. Plus it is also within or very close to Door County. Aside from the church, the grounds and basement chapel are quiet and well suited to reflection and prayer. They also have a good-sized gift shop.

A very peaceful and serene place. Mary is supposed to have appeared here to a tertiary nun in 1859. A lot of pilgrims visit this place to pray and intercede with Mary for various blessings. Many healings have been reported through the intercession of Mary.

The shrine is incredibly peaceful. Its simple, elegant beauty leaves a lasting impression. The chapel is lovely, and the oratory is a must-visit. There is a small gift shop that could use expansion; it was pretty crowded. This is a good place for individuals or families to visit, pray, picnic, and enjoy.

A beautiful facility located in rural New Franken. The grounds are extremely well kept, and the beauty and reverence of the place speak for themselves. I highly recommend going if you're in the Green Bay/Door County areas.
