Great family-run farm. Prices are reasonable. Opportunities to bottle feed goats and throw corn down the livestock's throats. Very hands on!
Go early to be able to feed the baby animals. We missed that because we got there too late. Fun and hands on for the kids.
I visited the Farm this past Saturday with my adult daughter and want to start by saying it's a very cute farm. Staff was friendly, everything nice and clean, entrance price was decent. We do however have a strong concern and hope this will shed some light on an issue I pray in unknown to the facility. We arrived around 9:30am and immediately saw two teen girls each sitting with an adorable kitten. We made our way around the farm, stopping to the enjoy and feed the animals. We got back to the front of the farm around 12:30pm and saw the same two kittens with another group of teens. We made our way over and someone handed us one of the kittens. She was super tiny and at first we thought she was just cuddly but quickly realized the kitten was lethargic, she couldn’t keep her tiny head up or eyes open and she was 'crying'. She was exhausted from being in the sun for over 2 hours and being handled by so many people. We quickly made our way to the stable and to the kitten enclosure and put her in, where she quickly went to eat and drink and fell fast asleep. We went back for the second kitten and saw a man with a crutch trying to push it away, some young girls went and grabbed the kitten before we could and thankfully they too realized the tiny kitten was lethargic and took her to the kitten enclosure. I have not been able to stop thinking of the kittens on the farm especially those two tiny beauties since I left the farm. I emailed the farm in hopes shedding light on this the owners/staff who I pray are not aware of the toll having those poor kittens out in the sun all day being handled by people take on them. I hope the farm makes changes to protect the wellbeing of the kittens on the farm. I pray staff start looking out for the kittens and ensuring that they are not being over held and are allowed to get to their ‘safe’ place to eat, drink or rest when they need it. The farm was adorable but I left with a sickening feeling and worry for those kittens, I would have brought them home with me had they been up for adoption so they would not have to suffer this type of exhausting for the entertainment of the people who visit the farm.
I love this place, 25 cent feed to feed their animals for you. this place was amazing because it was such a nice walk and all of the animals were happy amd engaging. It wasn't like a zoo at all, this place respects their animals, or at least it felt like that. I would highly recommend going to this place because the farm is differently family friendly. I will be going here again.
The farm is a great place for the kiddos to get to know nature in a fun and safe environment. It's one of the few places I take my 3 year olds on my own with confidence
Pricey but fun
Cool place
A great place to take the family
Excellent place! My 2 year old grandson really enjoyed this farm! So many things and animals you see. We really enjoyed feeding the animals and watching the chicks hatch.
It was cool and all with the goats, pigs, sheep, etc. But i feel some of the animals were over held like the kittens being passed from kid to kid being, and even some being dropped and not being given a chance to relax and drink some water on a hot day like it was to today other then that it was a cool experience. They even have some historical features to it as well. In the end its cool for the family.
Very clean place, lots of fun for the whole family.
My kids love exploring this place and there's lots to do and look at. The animals are very well cared for. We can't wait to go again!
Best family/kid friendly place with farm animals and farm buildings/machinery. Highly recommend!
A wonderful place for people of all ages! They have cows, goats, pigs, and kittens! Tickets are $8.50 for adults and they have a small gift shop section. The animals are fun and you can get corn to feed them for $0.25 and milk for the kids to feed the goats. We have been coming here for close to 20 years.
I didn't feel the animals were properly taken care of. In comparison to other petting farms I wouldn't go back. The staff was extremely nice though.
Beautiful and charming. The goats are so much fun.....as well as the piglets!
Love feeding and petting the friendly animals
Extraordinary place for kids. Amazing
Very family friendly atmosphere! Went here with my boyfriend today and my experience was amazing as per usual. The animals are adorable, the service is kind and the place is clean. Making it a tradition to go here whenever we go to door county!
Fantastic idea on how to get people to pay to feed your animals and you don't have to feed them! Watching all of the people run around trying to feed the animals was fun. Those animals sure are trained to know how to get food. The animals have figured out how to appease the people to get the food they want. It is fun to go to, but it isn't really how farm animals act on a regular farm. But hey, if you got kids, they will have fun.
Great experience! You get to pet goats, piglets, cows and other animals, who roam around freely (larger animals are fenced). You can also learn about history of the farm, plants/crops grown in Wisconsin through time.
Very fun for kids
Loved it but wish it had more animals
Good kid spot. Feed the animals with grains and carrots. Horses, goats, pigs, foul, and other farm animals. They have a pretty fun kid play area. My only issue was one of the staff, who was a bit harsh at my 2-year old. The little guy was excited and broke free from my hand, then rushed in through the gate before we finished talking to the front desk person. No harm was done and he was no where near anything dangerous or fragile, and he only made it about 10 ft before I grabbed him again. The staff was notably upset, lectured me a bit about the situation and was kinda demeaning about this minor situation with the 2 year old. Despite that odd occurrence, I would probably go back with the kids.
Great place for families!
We love the farm, visit every year. Great place to bring the family.
Cute place to take children. You get to bottle feed the kids (baby goats), hold a baby chick, etc. The people who run it are supet nice:)
Great morning activity for our 2 year old with plenty of space to safely roam. Fed goats (by bottle!) and pet cows, horses, and kittens. Well-maintained and friendly, attentive staff. A must with kids of all ages.
Been going here for generations... my kids even visited when in college. And returned with their kids a few years later. Wonderful place, gentle animals and great experiences including walking in the woods!
2 and 5 yr old had a blast, not too crowded, cute place.
Very fun animals
Amazing fun everytime we go. The goats and cats are always fun to play with. Can't visit Sturgeon Bay without a trip to the farm.
Nice place cute animals
What a great place to take your kids my kids especially enjoyed feeding the animals but I love the antique vehicles and farming equipment
Such a great place to bring the kids. They loved being able to feed bottles to ask the baby animals
None of these stars are for the chicken wonderful place to look at baby cats Little Pigs goats that are ready to pop and an EMO COW he had the best emo swoop that I've seen in a long time better than the waitress at Shipwrecked don't go to Shipwrecked but anyway is an awesome place for the family lots of fun stuff for children to do and adults
Fun good adventure for kids..
This place was amazing. So many things to do with the kids there. You can give baby goats and pigs bottles of milk, feed the cows some corn, and take a walk a little nature trail. Would highly recommend anyone to visit!
Really nice
Cute baby farm animals to interact with.
This place was perfect. My wife (who was away from her pets for 9 days) loved it. It was a great place to connect with the animals and experience the farm life I grew up with. Make sure you allow plenty of time for this trip as there is so much fun stuff to do and see. The people were great and the animals were too. My highlight was feeding Jerry, the bull. And hers was feeding the baby goats (kids) and loving on the kittens.
The kids favorite
Perfect place for kids that love farm animals.
Really fun place. Kids and kids at heart, as well as animal lovers, will really enjoy their time on the farm.
amazing spot! the little goats come right up to you for food and the other ones eat right out of your hands! my kid loved this place! they've also got some really cool historical artifacts here like an old ford, super old tractors, kilns, other old farm equipment and tools. Staff was great and occasionally they'd let two little piglets out to run around. they were super cute. I'd go here again for sure.
Plan on going to this place once a year! Feeding the goats and the little pigs was super cheap! They love seeing you with the little bottle in your hand. I had a baby goat follow me the whole time he was so adorable. They also have kittens you can hold and they will sleep right in your arms. This place is super relaxing and a nice walk. I loved it.
It was a cute farm with lots of cute and friendly animals. Some staff were unhappy with questions but others were very friendly.
Very clean, very fun for adults and kids
This place is amazing. We don't even live here and have already need twice in the last year. My daughter is obsessed and still won't go to sleep at night without her stuffed goat. Many wonderful memories were made here and I could not recommend this enough to anyone with kids especially.
Great fun we go every year!
It‘s a great place for families who love animals. You can play with and hold tiny cute kittens for as long as you want.
If you're in the area you have to come here. Family owned and operated best $9 I've spent in a long time
Great place awesome setup friendly employees
So much fun for the whole family!
We would like to see animals and feed it. And there was a huge cow!
A great place to go for a couple of hours of fun for the kids.
Loved it!! Made me feel like I was a kid again on our farm when I was growing up.
Awesome experience feeding the goats, sheep and cows. A must visit
Great place to take the kids and explore farm history in this amazing place. If you want to feed the goats, try and get there early, especially in season. You can also feed select other farm animals with the 25 cent feed bags (summer 2019 prices).
This place is great fun for all ages. The baby goats are adorable. Jerry is something special to see. My kids loved it. We will be back again.
Enjoy the calming effects of being on a farm by holding a chick and petting a goat. Go back in time and see the history of little farms and how they worked. Great staff, affordable and time well spent.
Brings back memories from when i was a kid. Was fortunate to make more memories with my kid. A great cheap way to visit the farm without all the work!
Must go, if you are in the door county. My kids loved this place. You can buy milk and feed the baby goat. And milking the goat. Also there are kittens that so cute that my kids love to play with them
Get up close to small and large farm animals.
Awesome to see kids holding goats and cats. Great interactive experience and if you like farm history you can catch a little thrill visiting the many small farming shrines to local history placed along a relaxing stroll around the farm. Pet a horse and watch some newborn goats a day old. Scratch a piglet behind the ears and feed some corn to the chickens and hold a little peeper (cute little chick).
Baby goats you can hold. What more is there!
I love love love this place! So relaxing and fun! Great for kids and adults of any ages. I even went on a rainy day and it was a great time!
Had fun with Sawyer
A must go to place for families in Door County. Ani as to pet and beautiful grounds and plenty of Wisconsin history.
This was a great time with my grandson. He loved feeding the goats and sheep.
Beautiful place , we went there during the fall of 2017, lovely farm enjoyed every bit of it , unfortunately we couldn’t get the milk to feed the goats (we reached there late) but still it is a five star experience , the team was courteous and nice to us , the experience of petting the goats , the kittens, the chickens etc was lovely , they also teach kids how to milk the goats which was fun . Amazing place to visit with family
As far as petting zoos go, very clean and airy. Nice grounds. Kids enjoyed it. Lots of potential.
This place is amazing. So much to see and do here. Fun for all ages. So many animals for the kids to pet and feed. Some animals roam around to greet you throughout your stop. Cost was inexpensive for what you can do. Small extra cost to feed baby goats and the other farm animals. The kids loved sitting on the red tractor. Adults can see tons of old farm equipment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We spent hours there and could stay longer. Our 17 month and 2 year old loved every minute of it. Worth the stop. Will be back again.
We make an annual trip here every summer. From toddler to adult everyone has a great time
I'm not sure how it took us so long to get to this place, but it's a must if you have toddlers or older children! Kids get to feed baby goats, hold kittens, and pet other animals as well as seeing how aspects of a farm operate. Admission isn't too expensive but it's worth getting the season pass as it only costs as much as 2 admissions and you'll want to go back.
There is so much to see at this farm. While it is mainly a petting zoo for farm animals, it is also a trip through time with antique farm equipment, and ways of life from the times of yore. Jerry the Brahman bull will even let you throw corn in his mouth. We saw a chick hatch from an egg, baby kittens, milked a goat, bunnies, flowers, a 200 year old tree, etc. Amazing.
Kids were begging to go back for days. It's actually rather impressive with the amount of activities they have: feed goat's milk, feed cows / pigs / sheep / goats feed, hike on a trail, learn about sugar houses. Worth a pit stop for an hour or two. Note there is another business similar to this one about 15min north that's also worth checking out.
Definitely a must visit if you're in Door County!
Free roaming baby goats and kittens you can pet and pick up, awesome place!
Loved the goats! Also really fun for the kids to be able to bottle feed the babies
Great place for kids. My daughter loved it.
Great place for younger families. Our boys love feeding the baby goats and getting to see all the animals.
My husband and I visited the Farm because our rental boat was cancelled due to the weather. I have to tell you I could not have been happier! This place is awesome!!! The staff was absolutely wonderful! The animals were adorable and you get to interact with them so closely! You have to take your kids, they will love it! Go visit the Farm, you won't be disappointed! But you'll have to wait for next year's because today was their last day for the season.
We went with a group of 4 adults and 3 kids (3, 6, and 12). They all had a lot of fun. We're from a rural are and farms are not really that exciting for us...usually. We had a great time! I liked how much we were able to interact with the variety of animals. The flowers were also beautiful. It was fun, interesting, and we will end up going again!
Great place for kids to see animals amd learn while having fun
The farm was a fun experience. The animals were super cute and mostly all friendly. Overall a super great experience for anyone who loves hanging out farm animals. Would for sure go back. It was nice to be able to feed the animals (both milk for the babies and corn for the larger animals).
Fun kid friendly stop in Door County. Feed and pet all types of animals.
Absolutely loved this place!!!
So fun! I was worried our 4 year old would get bored quickly but they have so much to see and do. Very well set up and run. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.
Nice place!
Awesome place! We have been there 2 times in a week
The Farm is legendary around these parts. We visited in August so it was hot, but we had a blast feeding the baby goats and holding kittens. Feeding the cows is probably a highlight. They are so funny as the beg for food. Walk the grounds and you will get a lesson on old world farming. They have everything from the basic farm animals to doves. The garden with the different wheats, barleys, and oats was interesting. I would recommend this for fun time for the whole family.
The whole family loves to visit the farm, feed the anilmals, hike the grounds and see the historical farm implements.
The good thing was that this place was an amazing place where your family can visit. The only bad thing was the Belgian horse really need her feet done. Her hooves are really unhealthy.
We all loved feeding the baby goats. Family friendly place to visit and staff was fantastic. We visit every Girls Weekend. Even though it was cold and rainy/snowy we all had a great time. Highly recommend this cute place while visiting Door County.
Surprised at how much animal interaction there was. Guaranteed to be a hit with your kiddos.
Love the farm! Kids get to see the animals they don't normally see and the staff is very polite
Love stopping here on the way into Door County. You can feed and pet lots of animals including baby goats, kittens, and chicks. There are cows, horses, roosters, and more. Beautiful grounds with a large garden too. Lots to do & see, perfect for little ones.
Awesome family destination! Feed and pet farm animals. Historic outbuildings with antique machinery. Nature walk. Terrific place for kids of all ages.
The Farm is a wonderful place for the young and young at heart. It is an immersive historic view of farming in the Door County Peninsula.
My girls had a blast here. We spent about 3 hours feeding the goats, sheep, pigs, cows and chickens. We got to see horses and donkeys too. We took a stroll through the trails and ate cherry tomatoes from their garden (don't know if that was ok or not...oops!) The prices are fantastic! Loved the cute gift shop as well. We will be back in the future for more fun on this farm!
The grandkids loved farm!
My partner and I visited Sturgeon Bay about a week ago and stopped here along the way. The animals that we saw were super cute! We loved handling the kittens and enjoyed feeding the goats. We spent about an hour and a half here before leaving. Great little stop along the way, will be back if we visit the area again.
Fun memories with my husband! Feeding the piglets was interesting, different (I'm a city girl), and fun. Liked learning about the history, and seeing the animals up close.
This place has always been a favorite of mine ever since I was little & now I love bringing my kids here to enjoy all the animals
Great family fun
Went with my 1.5 year old. This was the main attraction of our trip. Although she was scared but totally worth introducing kids to farm animals.
Best petting farm we have been. Baby goats, cats, chicks. Very friendly staff. Well designed and documented for reading about animals and farm history. The girls loved giving milk to the goats
I love this place! Great for kids!
Our 1st time. A fun place for kids. Friendly staff answers your questions.
Great place to bring the family! My kids always love feeding the baby goats and feeding corn to the older goats. Lots of fun and very educational with historic information. Will continue to keep coming back!
loved feeding the goats milk bottles. nice farm
There is NOTHING in the world like being greeted by baby goats in the morning, trust me. Obviously very kid friendly, lots to do and fun for the adults too!
Cute place. The kids working there are a bit in your face though. Location is awesome cool historical buildings.
The Farm is a cool place to visit with your kids. The goats are very friendly and you get to feed them with a bottle and/or corn. They also have cute baby goats and chickens for you to pet or see. Lots of room to roam around too so it's not too crowded. They also have small buildings with lots of information inside as well as old farm equipment they used to use. Plus they have restrooms and a gift shop too :)
Absolute hidden gem on the drive up to door county from Green Bay, affordable pricing, beutiful space, a wonderful experience and super friendly staff
So cool! You can feed bottled milk to goats and sheep, buy a bag of corn kernels for 25 cents a bag to feed to cows and other animals, you can see the giant cow Jerry, hold some kittens and so much more!
Fun place for kids to interact with farm animals, interesting for adults too
Well known locally, with friendly staff. The Farm is a great place to bring children. Animals are roaming free within a selected area for you to interact with and feed.
Awesome place to go. I went with my girlfriend and we got to handfeed/bottlefeed cows, goats, pigs, and more! The place also has lots of exhibits regarding historical farming in the area.
Fun for the whole family. Many animals to see as well as some great historical information.
Good for the family! Owners are great people..kind, friendly.
I remember going to this place as a kid and love being able to come back with my family now. A great Door County tradition
A great place to take the kids! You can feed all the animals and see lots of old time farm stuff.
Very clean, lots of animals, great little nature trail.
Our kids love this place for the goat milking, the chicks, and of course feeding the baby goats milk. A must see for any Door County trip with kids
Great for young kids to interact with lots of small animals. Also some great museum like buildings with artifacts and information. Best part is feeding goats milk... (however can only feed goats 1 bottle per kid which only last about 2 minutes.) If you go during the week you may have a chance to feed a bit more, however it depends on the number of visitors for the day as the baby goats can only have so much milk. There are also a lot of great historical buildings and tools used from many previous generations. They are quite interesting and spread over the property in many different buildings, which have many of the unique artifacts and samples of history!
Kids love this place and the staff is fabulous. Glad to see they have expanded.
We love the baby goats.
A little pricey considering it's basically a small scale petting zoo but fun family place! You can bottle feed baby goats and they have some short nature trails on the property.
Cool place for kids, lots to do, kittens, goats, milk the goats, hiking trails, gardens and more kittens... fun afternoon for the kiddos
Fun for the kids animals were active and hungry
We come every week grandkids beg to go. Love this place !
Great place for children to have direct contact with a variety of animals.
My friend Andy suggested I go here because he went and he told me I'd love it. When I got back to work I told him my experience and how people were so kind when I asked them what I should see I was very pleased by the kindness I got. I would definitely come back here the next time I'm in green bay. Great service from every employee there
Love feeding the animals and exploring the farm. The kittens are definitely a favorite too. It is a great experience for kids. I wish people were more watchful of their children and kept them from being to aggressive with the animals (ex. There were two kids throwing corn at the cows like throwing over hand while their parents stood there talk and said nothing). Despite that we had a great experience and the prices are very reasonable too.
We were there in the driving rain and still had a good time. The farm is well-maintained and the animals are numerous and appear well-cared for. Our kids loved holding the kittens and feeding the animals. We enjoyed talking with the kids about the things on exhibit. There were employees everywhere and they were all friendly. We were asked several times if we'd like a rain check to come back a different day due to the weather, which was nice. I'd recommend this place for people with middle school children and younger.
This is my favorite place to go to in Door County! I'm not sure who loves it more, me or my kids! Love those baby goats!
Amazing gem for children and adults alike!
Great place
Stopped here on a whim and was not impressed with the care of the animals. There was no staff member in sight to ensure the animals were ok. The kittens and goats were being tossed around from kid to kid in hot weather with no chance to rest. The rabbit, pigeon and dove cages were atrocious. Stayed less than half an hour and am mortified to have given my money to this place.
Lots of fun for the family.
Went with our 3 grandchildren ages 3, 5 & 7. They loved petting the farm animals & holding the kittens. I loved the flower & vegetable gardens. Oh, feeding the animals wad great too. We spent about 2 hours there. Lots of fun for all.
Nice place for the any kids to get close to the farm animals
Such a cute place. The kids enjoyed feeding the goats bottles and giving corn to all the animals.
fun place to visit
This place is such a fun afternoon activity! We got to hold kittens, and baby goats. We had fun feeding the goats and larger animals! Loved it!!!
From the minute we walked through the door, our kids were engaged. We had a ton of fun and the staff was super friendly. I highly suggest milking the goat! Thanks for the fun!
LOVE this place, I'm an adult with no kids who grew up on a farm...and still come here every time I'm in Door County!
Great place to bring your young 'uns. There are a number of small trails to take through the woods, and of course the animals are always cute. Don't forget to feed the core some corn... It's an experience!
Had a really great time feeding the animals and learning about the history.
We've visited The Farm every year for 15 years. My kids as teens still ask to go!
Beautiful setting , love the history that is being kept preserved... baby goats are so adorable even when trying to eat your hair, definitely going to plan a return visit
Fun for the kids. Very clean. Well worth the admission.
Generations of fun My mom took us as kids, I took my daughter and now my grandkids. Even my cousins from outta town come to enjoy it.
Awesome place for kiddos. Lots of friendly hungry animals.
We brought our 14mo old here and he had a blast running with all the baby goats and pigs. Great place to bring little ones. The staff was all very friendly and the facilities were well maintained.
Its great place to take children of all ages to feed goats and see other animals birds etc.. Walk trails and learn about how they made syrups of birth and maple trees...
