When you're in Fountain City you have to stop by and see it. A huge rock broke loose from the hillside and crashed into the house. Must see to believe. Self guided tour on the honor system.

The coolest thing in Fountain City, WI. A huge rock, 55 tons, rolled down a steep hill into a house. $2 admission, walk in and look around.

The rock in the house is a unique point of interest. Although I was uncomfortable entering the house with no attendant there. There is a $2.00 charge which works on the honor system. I thought the property could have been kept up a little better for being an attraction. Interesting but boring.

The rock was a boulder that smashed into the house. It was a sight to behold. No one was at the house. The house has not been maintained and looks like it. There are exhibits with photos and newspaper articles.

Very cool, especially the notes and newspaper clippings. Worth a visit!

You've most likely never seen anything like this before. A part of the bluff broke, rolled down the huge bluff into the house, snapping off big trees on the way down. Go inside they have details and newspaper articles from when it happened.
