DESCRIPTION

You will see the opinions of people who bought the products and services of Mary Nohl House (Tourist Attraction) in the state of Wisconsin.

Nowadays the business has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 and the score has been calculated on 38 reviews.

As you can see the average score it has is practically the best one, and it's based on a very large number of scores, so we may say that the assessment is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the service, is that it works.

As you know, we don't usually stop to set evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

This Tourist Attraction corresponds to the category of Historical landmark.

REVIEWS OF Mary Nohl House IN Wisconsin

Lori Nashban

Interesting locale honring the avant garde artist and her unusual works of art. Beautiful location on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Rumor was that she lost her family in a boating accident and went crazy and made a ton of sculptures and put them in her yard....The Witch House urban legend. We used to sneak in here at night back in the 1980s, get all creeped out. I never knew it was a museum until recently. I kinda forgot all about this place

Melissa Broberg

I grew up here and Mary was a wonderful woman. Her art work is doing exactly what she always wanted, bringing people to look. Enjoy the art.

Only could view through the chain link fence. Hoping in the future they have tours.

Known to local kids as "the witch's house", a lady gone crazy when her husband and son went out fishing on the lake and never returned, or so the story goes. Best viewed in the twilight hours. Drive by slowly, or take a chance parking your car to get out for a closer look (it's private property and there's posted no parking signs on the street).

Neat to see, but you can only visit from the road. It is a private residence.

Gary Blaine Golding

Maryknoll has unusual art sculptures

Nikki Brown

Very different-kinda creepy driving by the place at night with fog from the lake adding a spooky touch. In the day light, it looks like a place where only someone with a screw loose could live. I'd have to say it's rather bizarre.

This place is an amazing piece of Milwaukee art history. If you go, beware of the neighbors. They will call the cops on you immediately. Even though it is listed as a Historic Landmark, it is fenced off. Also, there is no parking for you to enjoy it. I don't know how they can do that, but it has been that way for 30+ years. Enjoy at your own risk!

Jon Kopps

Definitely something to put on your Milwaukee bucket list.

Christina Clark

It was something different to see. The only thing I wish was there is the story behind the house.

Kavita Mahendra

What a gorgeous place! It should be opened for the public!

J. Mattes

This place is a true treasure, well worth the effort to find it. Great sculpture

Britney Rosa

Garrett Mcintosh

Great to see a landmark preserved.

Ольга Демидова

No opportunity to park anywhere around and a large fence. These sculptures don’t really deserve risk parking in the restricted areas. But I would appreciate if it would be open at least once a year or so.

Jeffrey Martin

A lovely little artistic gem hidden away along the lakefront.

Laurel Stieg

One of Milwaukee's absolute treasures

Thomas K Schmitt

Delightfully quirky and awesomely restored.

R H

Great piece of milwaukee history!

The Truth

A lovely area. You are not allowed to park anywhere along the street. All viewing must be by driving past the house, or you know someone in the area that will let you park your vehicle on their private driveway.
