Great place to enjoy yourself for a day. If you have kids, even better for them. The little gift shop is quite reasonable in prices as well as the food court. My only issue is that the train only goes back then forth, there is no round circle for a straight ride. Literally goes in reverse.

Clint Hendricks

Awesome ride on steam train. Descent family time. Information provided is definitely skewed towards paper industry.

A great way to spend an afternoon with the whole family! Take a 10-15 minute ride from the station to the museum camp with all sorts of exhibits for kids and adults alike. Explore the logging museum and visit the blacksmith working his forge, and then go see all of the animals at the petting zoo before exploring the maze! Fun for a quick visit or a full afternoon.

It was great

Jason Wightman

Excellent place for late 19th century history. The train ride is very short and pretty below but still fun for all. The museum was very cool as many of the artifacts you could use or touch. The two 16 year old blacksmiths were very disappointing though. They clearly wanted to be else where with thier faces in third phones while sipping coffee.

Cowboy reenactment was awesome, was a little overwhelmed with the huge crowd, hard to navigate between the people. Loved the demonstrations though. Very enjoyable. If mobility is an issue I highly recommend traveling in the cattle car.

Travis Eisch

Pretty cool place.

What a super cool experience. A walk into the past. I have taken the family several times. I recommend taking a earlier ride as there is enough to do for a good couple hours. My kids 7 and 11 love it.

Alex Wolf

Michael Walton

Great fun day for old and young alike! It's well geared to all ages, with interesting museum presentations and activities for the kids alike. The black smith demonstration was really good, but the train ride captivated all most of all! I look forward to visiting again.

Kenneth Eisenmann

Great place to visit and bring the family. You get to ride an old time steam train were people are dressed in period correct clothes to a logging camp museum. You get to learn all about the early logging industry also watch a blacksmith at work. There is an old time general store to shop at.

Eric H

Great place to take the family!

Mario B

Sally Kaehn

Great when we were kids and great to be back for another visit.

Clifford Shifflett

Great little trip on a steamtrain. You get off where there is concession stand, museum, gift shop with candy and ice cream, and a barn where you can feed the animals and get up close and personal with the goats, miniature horse, donkey, rabbits, ducks and more. Be orepared though. If you take the forest tour, bring your bug spray. Mosquitoes are awful. But other than that, a great time, especially for kids.

David Dahlke

Robert Manske

Great show very entertaining

Darrell Karl

Mathew u Cooku

Lots of fun, great staff

Garth Luebke

Been coming here my whole life. Never disappoints. Definitely worth the ticket price! Great photo opps, live animals to pet and feed, and an impressive nature center. Skip the slaughterhouse.

Jonathan Brewer

Travis Maciejewski

Steam train was neat. Camp 5 was staffed mostly by younger not vey excited college age kids. The "blacksmith" for exmaple was friendly but just seemed like that was his job of the day not his passion.

Robert Gerbig

Jordan weber

Vicki Delaski

It was cold but the "robbery" going to the lumber camp and the "robber rescue" on the way back to the depot was awesome! The Lumberjack museum was more extensive and better than expected. Lots to do and see on the grounds. We will definitely be going back!

Mackenzie Faith

Somehow we usually end up coming to Camp 5 once a year and always have a blast. The kids really love it. End of the year train robbery and fall fest is worth the trip.

rebecca tershner

lacqureshia hall

Loved riding the train. The museum takes about 2 hours to enjoy every part but worth the time and money ($20). Buy souvenirs in the old Cracker Barrel store, check out the slaughter house, and the wide variety of logging tools and information was interesting to see. Petting zoo and concession stand available as well.

Jeremy Chiamulera

Pamela Kissner

I work on the lumberjack train and it's an awesome family experience

Jonathan Fischer

Very nice folks with a cute railroad and interesting museum

Theresa Connors

Good family adventure

Tony Novinska

Went there during the "Great Train Robbery". The little 8 year old Cowboy that saved us with the dual six-shooters will forever by our hero! A fun experience and worth the time.

Susan Lukaszewski

Great place for kids to learn about old ways the jobs were done and able to go into pens with animals and feed them

Jason Anatole

Train ride is short but fun. Heritage buildings to learn about logging. Wagon ride through the woods. Food available.

Brian Kohlmann

Julie Phillips

Our family loved this place! Our kids liked riding up high in the caboose seats, petting the animals at Camp 5, and running though the corn maze. Informative museum, fun & friendly staff, good burgers at the Choo-Choo Cafe, and of course an awesome steam engine. Just a great place to visit!
