We had a blast! Nicole was our game master and Derek also stepped in to help facilitate. All staff were super friendly and welcoming. It was my family's first time doing an escape room. Staff were patient and you could tell they loved hosting. The room was amazingly detailed; it felt like we stepped right into a movie. Definitely recommend this place for first-timers and veterans of escape rooms. We already can't wait to go back.

So much fun! Although we lost it was super enjoyable, challenging, and exciting. It was definitely a rush. My group did the butcher and it was so fun and action packed.

I live in the area and I thought this would just be another awful tourist trap. I was very wrong. This place was very well thought out. I've done multiple rooms, only 4 of us in a group, and we've come close or made it out every time. The potion room was probably the best and the rest I can't remember the names and I will say the butcher was awesome but when they say you have to be a little more aggressive on this one, they mean it. The normal rule of if you can't move it with two fingers doesn't always apply in this room. But it does in all the others, so remember that. No matter the difficulty level, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I've done easy ones I didn't finish and harder ones that I did finish. Keep an open mind when going into the rooms, you need to think creatively to get out.

Went here for my bachlerete party last night and the staff was super friendly, they explained the room to us in great detail. Andy was our game master he was wonderful. The room itself i thought would be dumb but over all it was EXCITING and fun to do. I most definitely recommend trying the butcher's room. I will be back!!!!!

This place was awesome! It was my first time doing an escape room and I loved it. They were able to get us in without a reservation to the Missing Starlet's room which is their easiest room but is by no means easy. The staff was friendly and our game master was awesome, giving us help when we needed it but not too much help. This was a great experience!

Had a blast! Erika did a great job as game master and gave us just enough of a hint when we needed it. The puzzles were hard but not impossible and we had so much fun. I think even if we hadbt escaped it was so much fun and totally worth it!! Check em out if you love puzzles!

We did Great Outdoors and came back to do Olympus. Olympus was super challenging but incredibly satisfying to complete!! Tony was so helpful with booking and Stewart was an absolutely perfect Game Master. Highly recommend Olympus (with Stewart) if you’re into more difficult rooms!

The room we had felt like you were in a closet and looked like a closet but the room wasn't a closet theme. It doesn't take you to another world or submerge you in a theme. It's thrown together in a tourist town as a tourist trap. If you go with low expectations to take up time you'll be thrilled

He provided us with a second attempt at an escape room. The rooms are very well thought out & our second game master was very friendly and outgoing.

This is my favorite place to go on my way through the Dells. Their staff is always nice and polite. The rooms are great for a party of 4 or more. The difficulty of the rooms is challenging but all have logical sequences once you find a rhythem. Everything is clean and they take precausiouns for the cold and flu season. I can not recommend this place enough.

Came here and booked an appointment for later that same day! 7 challenging rooms to choose from, as well as difficulty levels posted! $30 a person, and you can also buy out the other players spots for $10 each (ex. If you have 2 people in your party, but your room is for 4 people, you can buy the other two-person slots for $20 so your party can play alone) Overall, definitely a fun experience and would come back again!

The woman who assisted us had a strong accent and spoke way to fast and the room wasnt as scary as anticipated. If you are a true horror fanatic this will be more fun than suspensful. The props should be more realistic. Other than that staff was friendly lots of clues given and had an all around fun time

The owner is super nice, but the staff weren’t that helpful or courteous after the game. We’re used to discussing what was confusing in the room and the employee didn’t explain where those combinations came from or where we could have found them. If you like rooms with a lot of red herrings then these rooms are definitely for you. This is the first time I’ve ever played a game with sooo many so I was a little confused and frustrated. On the other hand, their room design and props matched really well with the theme. (Enchanted Potions Room) The last door to unlock could have matched the theme a little more, but overall good decor.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had!!! I went with my aunt and uncle who have never done an escape room before. We did the Olympus one, with a 3% escape rate, and they recommend 14 people to go into the room! Josh was a great helper and walked us through what we still had to do. I wish I could give it a 10/5!!!!

Had so much fun doing the Enchanted Potion room with my husband. Dean-Paul was our game master and was very interactive and funny. We already knew we'd have a great time but he made it much better. We definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for something to do. We can't wait to come again and try a different room next time we come to the Dells!

Elusive escape rooms are amazing!!!! The detail that the owner and staff put into each room is unbelievable! My 9yr old daughter wanted to try one and afterwards, we were hooked! We've done almost all the different escape rooms in the Dells area now but elusive is honestly the best! I would 100% recommend them especially the great outdoors room, the detail in there is remarkable! Only have a couple rooms left to do but I guarantee we'll be back to finish them all.

We came to tge Dells for a bachelorette party weekend and could not have asked for a better experience for our first escape room! We managed to escape The Butcher with a minute and 3 seconds left and we had a blast! Our Game Master, Morgan, made sure we knew all the rules and helped us get the heck out of there before the killer returned! Cannot wait to come back to try the other rooms!

First time doing an Escape Room. It was fun, we did the secret double agent room. There were 6 of us and it kept us all engaged the whole hour. We made it to the very last clue before time ran out. The host was very nice and he helped us push through that very last step and complete the puzzle. Definitely more fun when you've had a few drinks with a fun group. The price seems a little high but its definitely something different to do on a date night!

We did The Great Outdoors room and almost escaped but did not lol. The puzzles are definitely medium difficulty. We had so much fun we can't wait to go back and try another adventure room!

Did the Wellington Manor escape room. Very well thought out escape room. Did not escape but it was really really fun. Highly recommend doing an escape room with Elusive escape rooms. Staff was super friendly, and the puzzles in the room were quite challenging. With a few hints we escaped with 49 seconds remaining. Awesome fun, we were able to book the room just with our group, which was really nice. Puzzles varied quite a bit from clue to clue. Definitely will be doing this again.

We went for a bachelorette party and it was sooo much fun! Blake our game master did a great job and I highly recommend requesting him. The rooms were really fun and kept us guessing. Blake kept us on track and we did two rooms in one day because they were so interesting. If your on vacation or want something fun to do this is definitely a place to go!

What to do when raining in the Dells? For sure, the Elusive Escape Room! the 5 of us tried it one rainy morning and absolutely had a blast! We would recommend it even when it's not a rainy day, go anyway and you will have a great experience! Staff was really fun to be with.

We chose to do the most difficult room. It was an hour long, and we ran out of time. I think we would have needed at least an additional half hour. The employee stated she personally has never had a group escape that room. Despite not escaping were had a great time and would recommend. Maybe just would have done a slightly easier room to increase likelihood of getting out.

We had an amazing time. If you are looking for something to do, look no further. The rooms are challenging but not impossible. The story lines are fantastic. Our host, Sarah, was well prepared and made it fun. Even though we failed it was definitely worth the time. I will he visiting again when I am in the Dells again!!

We did our first escape room as a family here and had a blast! It was myself, my husband and our 8 and 11 year old kids and we did The Missing Starlet room. This room is classified as medium difficulty but I’d say it was easy since solved the case with 9 minutes to spare. We loved it so much we came back two days later, with my mom instead of my husband, and did The Great Outdoors room (medium difficulty). I would classify this room as hard because it has one part that is impossible to figure out on your own so you have to use a clue for it, if you have any left at that point. It was definitely a challenge but really fun and creative. We missed solving it by one step but got some extra help on a couple parts because my kids were afraid and the adults are disabled. Since I don’t want to give any details away about the room, if you have these or any other issues, let the game master know before you choose a room. You always get three clues but may be able to get more depending on your game master, but you will have to work for them! We actually decided to stay and do one more room and chose The Enchanted Potion Room which is medium difficulty. We were also just one step away from solving this one which seemed impossible at first. Escape rooms are great for team work and problem solving and Elusive Escape rooms are fun and exciting with great game masters! You also get a digital picture of your group at the end of every room. After your first visit, you will get a coupon for future visits.

THE BEST THING TO DO AT THE DELLS PERIOD! I brought my girlfriend to the dells for her first time here as a 21st birthday gift. Elusive came up as the #1 fun thing to do so we decided to check it out and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! The staff was welcoming and it felt like home as soon as you walked in. Our game masters name was Amanda and she was great. Funny as ever and extremely helpful with clues without giving the whole game away. She was amazing. The games are fun and really makes you think. We played crazy cat lady and it was so fun we even came back to try potions the next night. This is definitely a place we will be playing at every year we come back to the dells. I highly recommend it. Well worth the cost of the game. Team Beautician And The Barber escaped both rooms and we are proud of it!

Disclaimer: I work at an escape room in the Twin Cities and have no connection with this place. We had an awesome experience here. We had two people and escaped the Crazy Cat Lady and Missing Starlet rooms. The staff (Jasmine, Bailey, and Derek) were super awesome and friendly. The clues and nudges were great! They even recommended when we should use clues since we were way off track on our thinking. I enjoyed all of the different puzzles. A good challenge level. Nothing felt too easy or too hard. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that all of the locks were physical pad locks. The room lacked technology. With that being said it was an extremely fun room and the lack of technology did not take away from it. I've been there before and will definitely be going back next time I'm in the Dells.

Absolutely incredible staff and rooms. The staff really care about your experience. We went through the cabin experience called “the great outdoors” and also “the butcher”. Both were incredibly well done and managed by the host. The clues were not too specific and not too broad. A really hard thing to do. We chose this location because the rooms and themes seemed better than nearby competitors. It did not disappoint.

I’m from Chicago, and this was my partner and I’s first escape room. IT WAS AMAZING!!!! The room selection is phenomenal, from easy to hard, it is sure to be a hit with anyone. The staff is amazing! From the owner, to the Game Masters, without this staff, it would be like any other escape room. I highly recommend that EVERYBODY try it. It was so good, that we will be back in a couple weeks, JUST to come here and do more rooms!

I had never attempted an escape room. No particular reason, just had not. My wife suggested we try as a date. We signed up for "Serial Killer - The Butcher". I could not believe how much detail was put into the scenario. I won't provide any spoilers, but I can't rave enough about how much fun we had. It was an amazing experience, and I couldn't stop talking about it after I got back from my vacation. Don't get me wrong, this one is difficult with a 17% success rate, but we were able to conquer it with the help of their amazing game master. We had so much fun we tried another room a little later "Olympus Under Siege". This was the hardest room and designed for up to 14. Well, suffice to say, the 2 of us were not able to escape, but it was still a lot of fun. Once again, the details in the scenarios are great. I highly recommend checking out Elusive Escape Rooms.

We did the most difficult room. After an hour of standing my legs hurt. Some pieces were easy to figure out, some were near impossible. We had 12 people and that was too many for one room. I suggest 6 and wear good shoes for standing.

Our family did the enchanted potions room, and it was a lot of fun with being just the right difficulty for the kids. I don't know how much fun it would be for kids under 10 at a higher difficulty than medium (unless they really enjoy puzzles and finding clues), but it was perfect for our family. The staff is amazing and super helpful, and the room really gave the feel of the task at hand! We definitely want to go back again sooner than later!

The only thing I would recommend is the room can get a little warm at times so dress appropriately. But all in all well worth the money and we all would definitely go again.

My family and I (6 of us ranging from 70 to 15) did the serial killer room. It was awesome and a bit frightening for the younger ones. I highly recommend. Dwayne was our guide and he was awesome as well. This specific room will definitely get the blood flowing.

My family and I are new to the Dells area and decided to try the escape room. We picked the Great Outdoors room and absolutely loved it. Tony and Dan did a great job instructing us and ensuring that we had a good time. I will 100% be coming back!

Ophelia at elusive escape rooms was a very positive and fun room commander. The great outdoor room was well thought out and challenging for our first time but also a blast!!!! This was one of our favorite attractions at the dells. We will definitely do this again!!!

First time wife and I did a escape room, were SUPER NERVOUS!!!! Have to say the experience was totally amazing! The puzzles are not "easy" but also not "hard" if that makes sense. The actual "room" was awesome, you really feel the panic and drama of your situation. We were able to escape the room which only had a 20% success rate but our team worked so well together. If you do not play well with others or have issues with teamwork then this isnt for you. If you enjoy challenging puzzles, and working as a team to logically think through and solve your situation while immersed in a awesome, realistic, fantasy, just cool game then you have to do this!

Wow! My first escape room experience might have ruined all future rooms because this was mind blowing fun! It was so exciting to have secret after secret revealed. We tried a difficult room with only 2 people and we saw how it would have been beneficial to have several more people to observe the mechanisms being tripped in each space. It went on and on and on. The 60 minutes felt like it could have been days and I started feeling desperate to escape in time! I loved it. Fun atmosphere with lots of details and awesome clues/help from the game master. Andrew was excellent and very professional and personable. He was not in the room with us but watching and listening for us to call out for clues and very responsive with putting hints on the screens to keep us going when we felt stuck. Not escaping didn't detract from the experience at all. 10/10 would not escape again!

We enjoyed the serial killer room, which was a good challenge for us! Lots of different styles of rooms and levels of difficulties. Would be fun for families or friend groups. Staff there are really friendly as well. 10/10 would come back to try another room!

This place was amazing. It was our first escape room and they made it such an amazing experience. Challenging and scary, but so entertaining and fun. Tony was a great game room guide, along with his accomplice. He was very funny and he even made us do the chicken dance for an extra clue. I would recommend this to anyone. They have so many different rooms and different levels of difficulty. We did the butcher room and I highly recommend as a first room.

Decent escape room. Variety of puzzles is not very high and it is fairly low tech. I have been in much more interesting and high production value rooms. I've tried 3 of their rooms and they were fairly simple, but the puzzles were hard. Limited hints and I think they are nessecary to solve the rooms which often have unintuitive puzzles. Overall worth going once or twice to try out if you're in the area but not extremely impressive.

This place was awesome! We went 2 weekends in a row!!! Both Katie and Sky, were amazing game masters! Rooms were challenging but not impossible! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time in the dells!!!

Thank you Derek and all your gamemasters for a great experience. Your rooms were fantastic and your staff made the experience fun. I'm glad we booked out all 5 of your rooms because each was different but all were immersive and fun. I loved the Butcher. We've done almost 200 rooms at this point and that room was really unique. I would say it is easily in my top 10 favorites of all time. Andrea loved the Crazy Cat Lady and surprisingly, so did I. It was quirky, silly and fun with some really creative reveals we've never experienced before. You are definitely the destination in the Dells for enthusiasts and novice as you represent the genre well.

It was fun. We had5 people in our group and we had to combine with another group that had 8 people. The spaces are small and pretty much you tripped over each other. Both groups worked together and we were able to escape.
