This is one of the most incredible places in the Midwest, and the whole world for that matter. Detail in the art and the scope of what has been made is incredible. I highly recommend it.
Great and sometimes strange sculptures from a scrap metal.
Wonderful and fascinating. Teenagers liked it. So did their parents. So did the grandparents. How many places are there where three generations are fascinated?
This place is creepy and bizarre feels like you're in a crack dream
Interesting place!!! A must see
Amazing hidden gem of metal art! If you are in Wisconsin this is a must see.
Very interesting!
This place is out of this World! A must see! Good health to Dr. Evermor!
This place is a somewhat hidden but unique and amazing experience. Don't get discouraged by missing a few turns to find it, it is worth a visit. If you're out this way the big cat rescue is only a few miles down the road, and is also worth visiting.
Awesome place huge sculptures
It is absolutely worth stopping. You will not regret it. If it's open and I'm in that area I have to stop.
One of a kind place. Once you go, you'll know!
Highly recommend stopping for a visit if they're open
Such a cool stop!
Awesome art. Had a wonderful time.
One of Wisconsin's greatest treasures of creativity, the Forevertron is pure magic. It's a great experience for adults to feel like kids again, and for kids to see the outer limits of imagination. A special one-of-a-kind place that everyone should visit.
Worth a trip. Amazing metal sculptures unlike anything I've seen
This is a rare and magical place for the right kind of person. It's weird, huge, intricate, and serves no practical purpose other than making you feel a surreal sense of wonder. I am so grateful that places like this exist in the world.
Anyone who is interested in Steampunk or just enjoys "odd stuff" should visit this place at least once in their lifetime! The amount of time that was spent here as well as the creativity of Dr. Evermor is simply amazing!!!
One of the best art parks in America!
Dr. Evermore's Sculpture Park, the Forevertron is one of the coolest things in the world! It's a free art Park Northwest of Madison in Sumpter Wisconsin. Please remember it is a private parts you have to follow their rules. No drones. No video photography. No professional photography without written permission. It was started before the word steampunk even existed but it is a very steampunk place!
This place is amazing.
This place is a trip.... Really neat and fascinating sculptures.
I was super excited to make a pit stop along my way to see the Worlds Largest Scrap Metal Sculpture...pulled up to a gate and quickly saw it was a life that once was...for curiosity sake I took a peek through the fence and was able to capture it from afar. What looked to be a great piece in time has now become a piece of history that once was...not much else remained on the premises for a sight to see but glad I was able to see yes I saw it....even if it was through closed gates
Steampunk sculpture heaven! The artists seem to be especially fond of wading birds. It's really worth a stop by here on the way southeast from the Dells. I can't really anunciate how fun this place is. It needs a little pruning and weed whacking, but it's free, so no complaints. Maybe do them a favor and bring a little clipper to help keep the weeds down and out of the sculptures.
Fun place to visit although it's a little difficult to find . It could use some cleaning up and yard work just a lot of high-grass and weeds all around the property . It's just south of Delaney's surplus sales on highway 12 , just outside of Baraboo Wisconsin . I was lucky enough to find Eleanor Every there in an old Tommy Bartlett's water show shuttle bus . I believe that some of the sculptures on the property are also created by her there's a work station set up among the sculptures that you can find if you look close . I was able to purchase a souvenir coin from her and I hope the money can help her continue her endeavors in the park .
Kinda interesting road trip stop. Looks like it could've been really cool back in its prime but things have rusted since then. It was free though so can't complain too much.
Super cool and creative scrap metal sculptures. Free to get in. You'll spend between a half hour and an hour looking at stuff. Whoever built these things clearly had a passion for their craft. Check it out!
What an incredible collection/work of art! Dr. Evermor is a creative genius. This place could easily charge an entrance fee, but I love that he allows his art to be accessible to all. Definitely one of the most interesting places I've seen in the Midwest. Certainly worth a stop if you appreciate art and are near the area!
One of the most unique art exhibitions you will ever have the opportunity to experience.
How cool
Awesome art. Smaller kids really enjoyed it
I love sculptures and all they represent
This is a very amazing place to go. The fact that this man made all of those metal sculptures just blows my mind. As a matter of fact it was so engaging that I didn't even take a picture. Things that were just so large and shiny and sculptures of everything you could imagine made from all of this different metal that was just scrap. The kids loved it I loved it my husband loved it we want to go back just because we know we have missed so many things.
Interesting place. It was pouring rain when we were there so we didn't stay too long.
We very much enjoyed the art!
A lot of work here.
Amazing! Definitely worth a stop! A few tiny sculptures for sale next to the bus n sign in book. There isn’t signs but if you talk w the people they will give you the info on what’s for sale. Tip though being bug spray and water. You’ll be there at least an hour looking at everything.
Sculpture garden full of strangely fascinating mechanical contraptions, some designed with hopes of time travel, others possibly more whimsical. There are entire orchestras and audiences of metallic bird like creatures.
Be nice if it was a loop, instead of walking down the same way I just came.
I've been visiting Dr. Evermor's since I was a child, and can't recommend it more highly. The sculptures are some of the most unique I've ever seen, and I feel like I notice something new on every visit. It's a fabulous place to go on a weekend trip to Devil's Lake or to take visitors to town. Go before it's too late! The place certainly doesn't make much if any money, and many of the structures seem to be going back to nature, either rusting or becoming overgrown, which only seems to add to its mystique.
Fascinating use of scrap metal for art!
Quirky and fun!
Such a cool and unique attraction. I would highly recommend going here if you're in the area.
Very interesting.
If you ever consider a road side stop, then this is the one that will change your life. Park the car. Get the kids out and walk in. You will be amazed at the sheer extraneous of the entire park. The workmanship will over everwhelm the sesenes of a mortal human. Detail, creativity, and extravaganza overwhelmed my mere mortal senes. Even after a few years have passed my family still talks of the moment that we stopped here. It costs you nothing to stop here for a few moments, so please do and appreciate the work. It is a thing of momentous beauty. Blessed be the adventurous!
A MUST Go! Usually open except Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Absolutely amazing. I've been two or three times, and plan to go more.
This place is strange but really cool to see! I love the unique sculptures & props. Make sure u wear mosquito spray cuz its very wooded!
This is such a wonderful place to visit! Family fun and great picture oppurtunities!
Absolutely amazing!! Such a pretty place!!
Whimsical and weird, it is a fairytale of bizarre bolts, spiderweb glass and rust blossoms.
Dr. Evermore's sculpture park is a truly awesome place. It's here to believe Troy Every did all that - remarkable! His wife Eleanor is there and you can buy some of the items. This is a bucket-list place. You just gotta see it in person!
Words can't describe the wonders of art here. You must visit it.
Impressive outsider folk art installation. Great place to stop by on the way to the Dells or Baraboo.
Awesome! The kids got into seeing all the connections between the sculptures and real life animals or even stories!
Very interesting unique place. Dr. Evermore is a man with a singular vision and this sculpture park reflects it. This place is a bit off the beaten path but worth the effort to see.
Amazing. Inspiring. Just wow. I can stare at his pieces for hours. Soaking into the detail of each sculpture.
What a unique place. Amazing what some people can create.
WELL WORTH THE TRIP! Amazing whimsical metal sculptures. Such an incredible imagination. Plan an hour or so for a good walk through and to see everything :-)
Most enchanting roadside exhibit I've come across - if you like surplus stuff made into steampunk art objects. I could have spent hours looking more carefully at all the details of the individual creations.
Very glad we went out of the way to see the sculptures, well worth it. The man's vision was phenomenal
Pretty awesome place - Sculptures are really interesting.
Well worth diverging from I-90/I-94 on your travels to visit this one of a kind place.
Cool place. Could use a good clean up.
Dr is in the nursing home, but staff still there. Bought the 27 dollar book and donated at the metal donation station. There is, a little shop next door with hobby items but sculptures not for sale
Quite whimsical!
A great stop to stretch your legs and look around! Beautiful art.
Absolutely fractal, the layers of interesting things to find here are endless.
Very easy to drive past. Look for a sign for Delaney's Surplus. Dr Evermore's is next door. Sculptures were very cool.
This place is a must see! So many beautiful and wonderous sculptures. I plan to go back as often as I can!
Pretty unique place to visit! Amazing talent!
Very unique
Lots and lots a sculptures to see. Some kids might find it interesting while other not so much. It is free so a quick walk thru would be fine. They sell very limited merchandise but it is pretty pricey.
A great place for Wisconsin art culture, a must stop. Lady Elanor is very sweet. As seen on American Pickers. Very impressive sculptures around the property. And idems for sale also.
Well worth going out of your way to see! We had a but of trouble finding an open entrance, but once we did it was a perfect place to stretch our legs during our road trip!
One of the coolest art installations I have ever seen. This lot is a whole world of the incredible and the bizarre. I would highly recommend it for every adventurer.
I haven't been there for a couple of years but if you like welded art it is really something to see.
Awesome place to visit if you like art and steampunk type art. We have been there twice and discovered new things both times. Lady Elanor even signed our book we purchased.
My favorite part was seeing the circa 1980s Wheel of Fortune-esqe ceramic dalmatian.
Weird and perfect. I miss the days when you could visit with Dr. ever more. But it’s still a one-of-a-kind attraction
Great place close to the highway. If you have the chance you should definitely stop by. It's very different and really cool.
This place is amazing and the Lady Eleanor is such a gracious host! Will be visiting often.
Displays of insanely creative sculptures created with the most random scrap imaginable. I can't possibly imagine how many hours were spent crafting these things.
Anyone with sense of creativity will find this outstanding. The volume and complexity of works is impressive. The works have a futuristic/Dr.Who-like feel. Lazy folks can do the quick driving loop, but walking through the park will give you the real appreciation. The art is set in an outside park. The entrance is a bit confusing and looks like you are entering junk yard. There are no clear entrance signs. There was no entrance fee, but donations are accepted. (If not sure how much to donate, ask yourself - if this was not here, how much are you willing to pay to bring this.) Highly recommended if you are within half an hour away.
Such a cool and creative place.
Great place to stop and walk around. The art here is seriously amazing. If you love old metal things, this place is your dream stop. The amount of effort and love that was put into these sculptures is unreal
We try and go here once every year...Itvreally it an amazing sight ...I recommend this place to friends and family often..Staff are wonderful to be around also. Also, it has a surplus, with tons of amazing finds..Delaneys is great! Highly recommend!
This place is incredible. What an amazing imagination the artist had.
Great for all. Awesome sculptures. Must go
Top 3 favorite stops on coaster tour 2018. A must MUST stop if in area
It was simply amazing, the itricusy of each sculpture and the multitude of them. This is a must see and worth driving off route.
For people who don't like art, you will get this! It's fun!
Awesome place!
Very interesting and intriguing, well worth the time to stop
If you're ever in the area you have to stop by and check it out!
Amazing sculpture garden. Sure to inspire
This place is a hidden treasure. It's eerie in an awesome way.
This is a fantastic and unique place.
Amazing and creative sculptures! Your imagination can go wild.
When you are first looking for the place it's easy to drive by, but when you are entering it feels almost secretive! It really gives you a interesting vibe like no one knows about the place. Then once you enter you are pleasantly overwhelmed by all of the sculptures. You immediately can see the vision he has; he is a true artist! I look forward to visiting again!
A place to ride to if you have nothing else to do. If you are in the area I would stop by, interesting place.
One of the most amazing hidden gems in Wisconsin! Definitely worth checking out.
This place is SO worth a visit. It is one of the most magical and impressive sculpture gardens I've ever seen. One mans trash truly is another mans treasure. We had the pleasure of running into Lady Eleanore who gave us a little back story while we were enjoying the Forevertron.
Super weird, bring tin foil and ask about the hat press!
Wow, is all I can say - just an absolutely amazing experience tucked behind a surplus warehouse in the middle of nowhere WI. This is definitely worth the detour to see some amazing sculpture made out of the craziest stuff. Plus, admission is free - can't beat that!
Loved this place!!!!! Was so much more than I ever expected!!
Great for pictures. Giant sculpture made by a doctor back in the 80s. Donations accepted.
Such an amazing work of art a magical place
Lots to see. If you by food check experation date.
Amazing sculptures and a fun way to spend few hours. Definitely would recommend visiting this place. One thing other thing I would say is to take the bug spray. It wasn't too bad but got bit a couple of times
This is such a neat side trip adventure for those that appreciate a little whimsy. The sculptures are so unique and creative, and it's fun to see them and recognize in other places in Wisconsin. Also a great spot for Pokémon GO players.
Awesome design work! Fun walk around!
What a hidden treasure. Our ages ranged from 6-68 years old and we were all excited, impressed and in awe of the wonderful things this artist has created. Amazing and so much fun. I highly recommend making a stop here.
Very cool the see this guys art work.
One of the best road trip stops in the state. A very strange place that needs to be Experienced.
This is a massive art installation unlike anything I have seen. Worth a drive. Family ran. I think they had a donation box for support.
Dr. Evermore may have gone to his evermore, but the sculpture park remains. It does seem as if the weeds have started reclaiming the edges, but it is definitely worth a visit. Home to some of the world's largest and weirdest scrap sculptures, including an orchestra of birds made from musical instruments.
This outdoor place is unlike anything you've ever been to in your life. Amazing giant and smaller welded metal sculptures that are whimsical and genius. It'll just blow you away! And it's free!
Really great place. All the work is really wondrous.
Way larger and cooler than I expected. Glad I finally got to make it out there!
As a photographer its a good place for pictures other than that not much to do here.
Very cool place, some really neat sculptures.
Great pleace for the family, to view art.
I loved this place, its full of sculptures welded from everything Dr. Evermore collected over time working as a demolitions man thru the years.....check them out on youtube. I went in and looked all around this place. The story behind this place is great. I then sat and visited with Lady Eleanor, she answered any questions I had. I spent 3 hours there and I am sure I didn't see everything.
Rare but cool
Yet another truly inspired artist doing his own thing. There is some real cool stuff here. When I was there it was free.
Something very different
I didn't have an experience at the park- it is closed during the winter. Very nice lady on the phone told me- "Oh, no, those internet hours start in April."
Beautiful and unique, it's like walking through a science fiction novel
I have been in love with his work for years. Would love to work with him. But I hear that he's been quite ill.
Best tourist attraction in the Madison area. It’s a must visit.
Loved it. Worth every penny.
Very cool and a must in these parts of Wisconsin. Randomly stumbled upon it while looking for things to do on our trip to Green Bay from Iowa and surprisingly pleased. Great for every age, but if with children I would for sure be more careful. Don’t forget to give a donation!
Made by just a couple of people, this sculpture park is a special place. Such a creative use if surplus material and waste.
It was interesting to see the imagination at work. My husband really liked the little bug sculptures and I said to bad there wasn't someone to talk to about getting two that he liked for like maybe 20 bucks. Then we walked around a little more when we found a lady that was selling t-shirts for 25.00 dollars!!!! Then my husband asked if you were able to buy the sculptures and she said yes and he pointed to the tiny bug ones and she replied 120 dollars!!!!! Yeah no thanks!! Overall it was just something to get out and stretch the legs but we don't know what she was thinking of wanting to charge so outrageous prices that she is never going to get. Should have just said no nothing is for sale
Very unique, must see if visiting the area!!!
Unique and fun to look around
We went when it was technically closed, but Delaney's allowed us access via their side of things. Amazing and fun sculptures. Very creative and imaginative.
Definitely worth a visit! We always see something new and different. It is free but a donation is much appreciated to keep it going. There is a movie in the works that will be filmed here. Watch for it in theatres around 2021.
What is there to say? Its a must see for sauk county.
Went with my wife and daughter who very much enjoyed all the sculptures. Should note though -- dogs are not welcome. My wife had read online that they are, but it's clearly indicated they aren't on signs there, and the lady monitoring things mentioned as much as well.
Weird and wonderful!
Great place to visit to see imagination turned reality. Sculptures of all shapes and sizes are made from found objects. If you’re in the Devil’s Lake area, this is a worthwhile detour.
If your tastes run somewhat quirky or whimsical, this place is for you! It's also free to stop and look around. They are open to contributions of course, but they don't pressure you at all. The story behind Dr. Evermore's art is fascinating.
Doesnt exist.
Dr Evermore has a great eye for creating art.. and he had taken junk and created some interesting things.. While in the Dells, my wife and me came here and explored, it has a small sign outside the park, so you might miss it driving by, but it is well worth spending a couple of hours wandering around this place.
