You have all the feddbacks of people who bought the services of Cave Point County Park (Tourist Attraction) in the state of Wisconsin.
Now this firm has a score of 4.8 stars out of 5 and this rating was based on 1416 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is almost the best, and it's based on a very high number of reviews, so we can say that the assessment is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they are happy with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to set opinions when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Tourist Attraction belongs to the category of Park.
We made a day trip of Door County and stopped here for our first stop. The views and scenery and absolutely beautiful. The park is well kept and a must see if in this area. If you bring kids, be mindful of where they are at all times as there are many locations that have ledges they could fall from. Nice walking paths and plenty of parking close by. I would recommend you bring a good walking shoe and possibly a sweatshirt or light jacket as you are going to be walking along the shoreline area and it could bring cooler temps. No fee to gain entry that we were aware of.
We were here in the summer for our first visit, now we got to experience this place in the winter. Both times of the year are truly a time to go. Seeing the beauty in each season is spectacular. Be extra cautious of the edges in the winter time.
Always spectacular. Waves were crashing. Awesome. A must stop in Door County.
Beautiful hiking trails and swimming spots! Fun family daytrip to see Wisconsin's beauty in nature!
Cold, windy day! The waves were crashing against the rocks and it sounded the thunder. Loved it!
Beautiful place to visit!
This is one of those places that only exists in Door County. It is on the lake side so it is a bit cooler, but worth seeing. There are hiking trails along the lake and in the interior.
Lovely location, pleasant shaded stroll along the coast.
Need to be really brave to swim in such choppy waters
This is a very scenic area. There are hiking/biking trails on both sides of the picnic area. There are incredible (to borrow an expression from Donald Trump) overlooks of Lake Michigan.
It's a nice place. Not so great. But this is a must to visit place in door county in summer because you jump into water, take a short walk. Can see spending about a couple of hours during warm weather. If you bring food, you can spend some more time with your family.
Great place to hike. Beautiful.
Love this place any time of year. Its especially gorgeous in the winter time. Not an intense hike but well worth it.
Very nice county park
Want to feel like you’re standing on a cliff side, overlooking the ocean but live in the Midwest? Drive up to Door County, WI and visit CavePoint! Then hang out at the beach at Whitefish Dunes. You’re welcome!
Can do short cliff dives and hike. Great place to visit and have a picnic.
The maps they have up are not clear on where you are, you have to watch closely where your walking otherwise you will fall twist of possibly brake an ankle. The beach they have ISN'T a beach at all its a park with a drop off to the water. Not at all what we drove 2 and half hours for.
Beautiful place!! Go here if you are in the area, you won't be disappointed.
Beauty at its finest that's all I can say it's just Beauty at its finest
Beautiful hiking trail down the beach
Nice spot. Some jump from the wall to the water. Can be dangerous at times.
This park is beautiful! It was more crowded than I have seen before but still plenty of room to hike or climb.
LOVE Devil's Bathtub!! Enjoy the views at the park but was even more impressed by the views from the water. Such a cool experience getting to paddle into Devil's Bathtub and THE CAVE!!
Waves were wumping the rocks, so cool!
Water erosion of the shoreline leaves you 30 feet directly above the undercut rocks! Beautiful pastel colors in the sky as the sun sets...perfect time of year is September
THE place to go in Door County. Absolutely stunning.
The views are beautiful and when the waves crash against the tocks its gorgeous
Nice place to take a walk
Beautiful little gem to visit. Great hiking paths and plenty of picnic space. Great place to sit back and relax or get in your steps
Cave Point is a delightful county park in Door County. Ine can visit it over and over, and no two experiences will be quite the same.
Beautiful colors and formations.
Used to be better. Teens violate the beauty of this place, using the cliffs to jump into the lake.
The most beautiful colorful waters.
One of my favorite places ! Tranquil. Most recommend! You will love it !
Cave point park was one of the top highlights of our visit to Door County Wisconsin!
Always a good place to go and relax
Beautiful views and easy access trails.
The views are impressive and free (unlike other parks) I assume because it is a county Park instead of state. We found the hikes very doable strapping in a 1.5 year old. I can see why the views would be amazing at sunset. I think the best part is the sound of the waves crashing the rocks while walking through one of the trails.
Best hike I ever took in my life. Dogs welcome on a leash.
This park never disappoints!
The waves today were more like that on the Pacific Ocean! I love going here at all different times of the year as it’s always different and always beautiful!
One of my favorite places in Door County. Beautiful! Nice trails, but watch your step!
Free and beautiful views. Adjacent to the state park
A very nice park with no entrance fee
It was gorgeous! Lots of mosquitoes, so wear some repellant. Door county is fun!
This was a great park, with fun scenic hike along the shore. The terrain was a bit tricky with exposed roots, wobbly rocks, and fallen trees, but very rewarding.
We visited this place during spring fall and it was awesome. must visit place in Wisconsin
A beautiful place to visit. The rock formations are so cool!
We we're here twice 24 hours apart. The first time the water was crystal clear and calm. You could see to the bottom of the lake. There was a family jumping into the water. The second time we visited a strong wind had been blowing from the south east for hours and the waves were pounding the shore. The spray was shooting a good thirty plus feet in the air. The deep boom from the waves hitting some of the small caves at water level was amazing. This is a must see when in Door County.
Beautiful place to hike and spend some time by the water. Definitely wear good shoes or hiking boots because there are lots of rocks and tree roots. Great stop on our Door County trip
This place rocks. Beautiful views. Relaxing to just chill out.
A Door county must see. Located just North of Whitefish Dunes State Park, this is a free park with beautiful rock cliffs that manh summer visitors jump into the water from. You can even rent a kayak North of the park and paddle along Lake Michigan to see the cliffs and caves. Do watch your step, there are some holes that can be hiding under leaves. Definitely worth the trip to see this place!
We loved our visit here, and it was free to visit and park. Beautiful rocks and cliffs line the shore, and there is a nice trail as well. We saw lots of kayakers down below. Didn’t see a good map and the layout didn’t seem intuitive at first, but we didn’t stay long enough to check it all out. We brought our dog too and she had a great time walking with us.
A lot of cool paths to walk on. Nice picnic area
Fantastic! Great little lagoon rock jumping spot, another rock ledge was equally fun for smaller ones. Don't miss it!
The park was beautiful and temperatures were cooler than the surrounding area.
Who doesn’t love this place! I prefer tobgo on a desolate quiet day in winter. Be careful, many people have fallen in and died here or kayaked out and dumped. Respect the park and you will live to see another day!
Nice scenic place to take photos.. keep jackets handy.. sometimes it gets too cold unexpectedly
Excellent state park that is enjoyable year round, but especially in the summer. There are small grills if you want to picnic.
Spectacular. Words just are inadequate to describe how the lake had been transformed into something magical. The Lily pad shaped ice formations were specific to that area only. Lots of waves crashing into the caves. Surreal sights and sounds. A must see!
Stunning scenery and nice trails in the area. This park directly adjoins White Dunes State Park so you’re walking on a mix on county and state trails. If you close your eyes when you’re at the shore it sounds like a ocean. Such a gem! My only regret is not coming on a warmer day.
This is my favorite Door County free park. It's small, but has ample parking. The walk along the shore of Lake Michigan is like nowhere else. The caves are created by the water erosion and are impressive to stand above. There are also walking trails through the woods across the parking lot.
Great view of the lake, the caves were under the water as the water is higher than normal this year. Beautiful park!
Massive waves crashing in! Thought I was at the ocean.
The park is beautiful with fantastic views. The picnic area is nice. It does have pit toilets.
Great place all kinds of hidden gems if you get out and hike around it.
A must-stop on the door county bucket list. Great place to jump in the lake and get refreshed after a long hike!
What a gem...beautiful views of Lake Michigan, rugged lakeshore giving way to awesome stone covered beach.
Great views and a nice little walk. Pretty dangerous for little ones, so not a place to take a little bolter or daredevil. If you want good views and hikes with them I recommend going to the state park on the northern end of the peninsula. Glad we went, but couldn't spend a lot of time here.
A beautiful place , nice spot to stop and have a lunch On a site seeing drive
One of the best hiking trail in the midwest. You would love the sound of nature, waves hitting the underground caves.
Really a great place to visit if the wind is coming from the east. If it is, the waves breaking on the shore are awesome.
Always clean. Water is clear. Parking is great.
A wonderful state park in the Door County, WI, along the Michigan lake. Best time to visit is the summer. Must visit if you love the nature and the outdoor. The blue coloured water, big waves and the rocky cliffs make the place picturesque. You can try cliff diving. If you are here around 12-1 pm, you might able to see the rainbow formation in the mist of the lake water near the cliff.
Absolutely amazing views!! Need hiking boots and need to be careful as there are dangerous drop-offs. No unsupervised kids or unleased dogs.
Beautiful park with breathtaking views and trails. Some parts are dangerous for young children as there are sudden and sharp drop offs to the water.
The waves and caves make a very satisfying "thump" that reverberates throughout the ground beneath your feet. And watching people getting unexpectedly drenched while taking their selfies is also very satisfying.
A very beautiful place to spend a day with friends and family, and having a little picnic maybe while enjoying the lake breeze and sunshine. Be careful with going too close to the ledge, though!
Would highly recommend coming here! It was free if you parked at the Cave Point County Park lot, but it was BUSY! However, I'd not see a nothing quite like the park. The waves coming in from Lake Michigan were amazing and it was gorgeous.
Cave Point is such a beautiful, classic place to go. Although it was cold, the views were worth it. They do a great job of keeping the place clean and gorgeous.
Make sure and take your swim clothes and a towel, and a little guts. When you see everyone having so much fun jumping off the rocks, you will be tempted to try. Several people in our party did it. It is very safe. They aren't too high - I'm guessing 15 ft. And kids and families are doing it. The trails take you to some nice exploring on the rocks. You can really get a feel for the rock formations that make this coast so unique.
Clean water and nice scenic view of Michigan lake. Best place to visit in Fall to get the most of it.
Amazing cliff and view!
Exploring on the trails and climbing the rocks was simply amazing!
AWESOME place to take scenic photos! Highly recommend!!
Pretty scenery, quiet. Enjoyed this trip.
First time visiting this wonderful park. Loved the veiws, well maintained.
Awesome place to visit have a picnic bring the kiddos, bring the dog. But be very aware of where you are walking there are tree roots n some holes you can easily trip on ! Enjoy your visit
Beautiful area. Probably my favorite in door county.
Fun for young adults. Whitefish dunes with a beach.
Always a nice walk along some pristine shoreline. Awsome place for taking pictures and a picinic.
On a windy wavy day this place is really spectacular!
Great experience. Was able to go into the cave.
Ridiculously beautiful and awe-inspiring
Really neat place to visit
It's the one spot I visit every time I make the visit to Door County. I recommend taking a dip off the bluffs if weather permits
Awesome place, so big you can get easily lost. Best for kayaking, hiking, and cliff diving
One of the most beautiful parks in Door County. Picturesque lake views, amazing rocks
Very nice park..
Watching the waves crash into the rugged coast is exciting.
Nice fall colors and good view of lake Michigan
What a beautiful park to hike in. Everytime we visit Door County we stop at Cave Point County Park. We have been doing this for the last 20 years.
Such wonderful views to be enjoyed! Not to be missed. The hiking trails were well maintained and the park clean with seating. Parking available near trails, with additional lot for overflow and busses.
Im so happy we decided to come check cave point out. Its such a beautiful place. We did some cliff diving.. And went to the beach in white dunes. The whole family had a great time. We will definitely come back. I defineitely recommend this place!
The park is beautiful! It was pretty foggy when we went, but you were still able to see the cliffs and I’m glad we didn’t skip this stop. We walked along the short trail, but next time I go back I definitely want to kayak - I’m sure it would be a great way to see the caves.
Beautiful sunrise spot! We set up our hammocks and enjoyed the start of a new day.
Can get super busy here in the summer, but always a beautiful place to be. Winter is just as cool too. Lots of cool ice formations!
Wow, such a beautiful place for a hike!
Such a cool park, lots of trails near the waters edge! We jumped off the cliff into the water and it was amazing!! Not for everyone, but it was quite the thrill! Bring a swimsuit just in case you dare! Great location for birdwatching, biking, trail hiking, photography, or a picnic. Nice gazebo near parking for lunch after a hike! Port o potties available for use. Pavement parking, and plenty of it! Caution trails are full of tree roots and can trip up even the most experienced hiker! The flat rocks on the water are fun to climb, but be careful they are extremely slick! Kayaking thru this area is common and several local companies have tours for hire! Beautiful spot to watch sunset! Absolutely amazing to see in the winter after a big snow storm!!
Loved this place!! Nature was excellent! The views, trees, smells, and breeze were awesome. However, trails are not accessible for all (lots of tree roots to trip on trails and potentially treacherous falls into the lake--none of which can be helped but should be noted for folks who are older or less mobile and folks with young kids)! The park properly warns of these conditions though! Also, if you expect to come for a swim, be warned that you will be jumping or slipping into unpredictable strong waves that could cause injury on the rocks. Swimming here is not for the faint heart... Cliff-diving adventurers are welcome!!
Beauty and power. Awesome on a westward windy day!
Whenever I go to Door County this is a must stop place for me. Love the hiking trails and I get a chance to climb down on the Rocks and cool my feet Lake Michigan.
Such a great little walk (light hike) along the shoreline with an awesome view of Lake Michigan!
It's a pretty beautiful place. Especially at sunrise. But when the weather is cold and rainy, it takes a more sad, dark, and dramatic feel. (If your a photographer, it has some good composition as well.) Very good for any mood you want to convey.
A great place to hike no matter the season! Take your family, take the pups! There are two great paths, one that stays in the county park and the other that transitions into a state park.
Beautiful, free pit stop that is good for photos & nice place to stretch your legs.
Such a beautiful County Park. The park is rather busy even during the week however parking lots are large. There are RV spaces available. Restrooms are available on site. Walking pads are well groomed and connected to the State Park trails. There are some trails along the cliffs but if children are well-behaved they are not dangerous. Fun places to climb on rocks and stack them into formations on the shore.
I will be back again to catch the sunrise. Beautiful surroundings to say the least.
Nature at her best ..land , water , untamed woods ..
Great place to kayak and make sure and visit the cliffs
Viewers who live in Wisconsin, go see cave point. Viewers who love to travel, reserve a reservation at the nearest resort. Must see.
This park is absolutely beautiful during the summer with crystal clear water and cliffs lining the water. There are places to get down by the water on the rocks and also some places that are a little less safe to maneuver around to get down. There is a location to jump into the water from the cliffs and overall i had a great time here.
Must see for Lake Michigan. Rocks, waves, caves and great hiking trails.
Great waves on a windy day!
Amazing! Never knew such beauty was right here in my own backyard!
Well worth the side trip
Very interesting rock formations nice peaceful place Just to sit and listen is nice
Most exciting place in Door County! Cliff jumping :)
This was such a neat place walking along the cliffs. The water was pretty lovely. We went later day and didn't have a problem with parking. The trails were pretty easy to walk through. The cave layers were really awesome to look at. Some were jumping from them into the water. Not sure if that is normal but someone mention the water levels were higher than normal when we went. Great place to stop for a picnic with the family.
Really really cool, big waves!!!
Awesome. We jumped off the cliffs, the water was gorgeous (and COLD.) The bathrooms were really gross, but it is the end of the season, and the natural features more than made up for that.
This is the one park you need to go to if you are going to Door County. You would swear you are in the ocean! The water is clear, there is swimming, cliff jumping and so many other fun things to do here! Cave Point is breathtaking!
Lot's to see, fun watching people jump off the one cliff in the water, good walking trail for our dog. Love the way the water looks.
the ground shook when the waves crashed against the shore. Simply amazing.
Cave Point County Park is the most scenic spot on the Door County peninsula. Don't miss the "unofficial" path north along the shoreline to Whitefish Dunes State Park.
Beautiful location. Get there early before all the crowds and selfie takers.
Loved it. Beautiful lake shore along the park
Great views, clean, walking along the shore line has lots of tree roots. Wear supportive shoes
Very interesting location for some natural lake shoreline.
Such a beautiful place. So peaceful.
Beautiful view of Lk Michigan on overlook, picnic tables and short walking trails (up to 1 mile)
This is a hidden gem in Door County. We went their with low expectations but was so thrilled by the waves crashing to the bluff and showering us with cold lake Michigan water!!
A beautiful place to visit.
Well worth stopping at this county park. The view is worth it.
The views! On a windy day the sounds! A small or long hike. If you like nature you should stop! When the water is low you can go down and out on the rocks safely. One of our groups must do's on our Door County Trips!
Absolutely beautiful place. The views are breathtaking. The trails are a bit more challenging due to the number of exposed roots and rocks. However, despite this the paths don’t have a great deal of change in elevation. We easily walked from the parking lot of Cave Point down to the beach at Whitefish Dunes and back. This is a must see spot if you are in Door County.
Lots of people but very cool place to see especially when it’s windy and has big waves
Beautiful trails, beautiful views. It's amazing and we'll definitely be back!
And exhale! This is my favorite spot in door county. Just need a good bottle of your favorite drink, a snack from the local towns visited earlier and watch the most beautiful scenery display before your eyes. It's an area that when you see it you don't feel like you're in Wisconsin anymore. It just takes away any stress, or the feeling of "gotta keep moving". Most importantly it makes you stop waiting to exhale.
Incredible. Must see while your in Wisconsin
Wind, waves, and Nature's power & beauty!
Beautiful spot on Lake Michigan!
This is very interesting park. The signage is kind of confusing, but it appears that there's a county park on the inside of a state park. We have a state park pass, but appears you don't need one to get into the park, as long as you park in the county park area. The caves along lake Michigan are really need to see, and they were even some kids jumping into them. Highly recommend, one of the most beautiful places in all door county
If you are travelling to door county for fall colors you have to visit this park...it had the most vibrant colors throughout the drive to the parking lot...also the bluffs are very accessible and pretty ....if you do kayaking a summer trip is definitely recommended....even if you dont kayak..walking through the trails is awesome . The parking lot has picnic benches too for a family picnic...overall a must see in the door county trip.
Great view of lake and caves
Great spot. I always make a stop here when in door county.
We had great time here! Definitely worth the visit! Our kids are still talking about it how fun it was to jump from the cliffs, months later!
Located right next to Whitefish Dunes State Park this County Park’s main draw is the stone mini-cliffs that skirt along the Lake Michigan shoreline. At several points the water has carved into the stone and created “caves”, hence the name. Decent parking although summer and fall weekends can get crowded.
