This Tourist Attraction belongs to the category of Sculpture.
every time I see the bronze Fonz it brings back memories of me and my mom when she was still alive going to the restaurant right next to it and taking pictures I love it
Really cool downtown Milwaukee vibes.
Great view of the river, fun photo opportunity, map of all the other sculptures close by. A Milwaukee must if you enjoy photos and kitsch.
Cool photo op with the Fonz. He's right on the river. Don't know if it's because of the construction on the adjacent bridge, but it seems they could put him in a more prominent spot.
Nice to take a walk on the river walk.
Great food. Great prices.
Heeeyyyyyy! Sit on it!
Fun spot. Hard to find free parking though.
Fun bronze sculpture of the Fonz from Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley fame. Great place for fun photos near the river.
Hppy days was not shot in Milwaukee and this was a great disappointment. Fonzies statue is nothing but a single figure on the corner of the terrace, and there is literally nothing more. Not worth the money you put into the parking meter.
The Fonz was a little disappointing. He's just life size and I was expecting a large statue. The river walk however is very neat a worth visiting. Many nice looking restaurants and bars and great views of old Milwaukee architecture.
Best site in Milwaukee. Ayyyy!
The entire river walk is nice. One of the comments from our group was that in 3 days we had not been harassed for change. I grew up watching the Happy Days and this was on our list to go visit. We achieved our goal. Check out all the art on the river walk if your every up this way
The TEETH! LOL
Easy to get to. Right on riverwalk
Walked down by the river to see Bronze Fonz. Was great to check this off list. Smaller than I thought. Beware of seagulls, they tried to grab our coffees when we put down to get pictures.
Who doesnt want their Pic taken with the Bronze Fonz. This is a must when visiting Milwaukee.
Cool statue nice view of lake
It was nice to see Fonzie. Great walk along the river too.
Loved it.
Great for a few photos.
Historical and Milwaukee at it's finest.
Took a little while to find since this part of the Riverwalk was closed but we did get to it. Not a very strong resemblance to Fonzy but an interesting statue. Would not really go out of my way to see it however the Riverwalk is very nice so you will most likely come upon it.
Very unique piece of architecture on the beautiful River Walk!
When I was there, there was a TON of construction on nearby roads so I had to walk way out of the way, but its Fonz, so I did it. He gets hot since he's right in the sun so be careful touching him if it's a warm day. It's a nice area to get some pics though!
In Milwaukee. Great statue. Brings back memories of the " Fonz."
It's a statue of Henry Winkler. Aaaaaaaaay.
Very fun to see!
Always great to get out and walk atoind downtown
I did not know about the Bronze Fonz statue until I got to play the song Milwaukee on my Rock Band game. So I had to get some photo with the legend Arthur Fonzerelli!! Epic!!!
Go Bucks! Milwaukee staple here make sure you see it!
It's a fun piece of pop culture history. It's a statue just standing there along the river. Of course I'm old enough to have immediately recognized the Fonz, and Wikipedia has a great article on the statue, to refresh those of us who grew up watching "Happy Days" (I'm old enough to have seen some of the original series, and then watched a lot on syndication), and to explain it to those too young to know the Fonz. Milwaukee is a very comfortable city. I ran across Bronze Fonz while simply walking at lunch time (I was in town on business), then later some coworkers and I were walking after dinner and took pix with Fonz. It was good silly fun. Kudos to Mr Sawyer (the sculpter), the city, and Mr Winkler (the Fonz himself).
Pretty kitchy and might have passed it up since it's just on the patio of a Chinese restaurant, but it made for some fun pics!
The area is very relaxing. Parking can be an issue but it all worked out
The fonz is iconic to Milwaukee, it was cool to see and be a part of that.
Great photo op along the river walk.
This is great way to remember the “Happy Days”. The statue is a great photo opportunity to take and pose next to. The location of the Bronze Fonz is right on the river walk, conveniently close to restaurants and pubs. It’s a perfect excuse after a dinner to go for a walk and take some pictures.
Great spot enjoyed it very much.
The Bronze Fonz is located along the river walk. When we saw him, he was decorated for St Patrick's Day. The kids thought we were strange. But then again they don't know 'These Happy Days are yours and mine.'
If you are on a local tour of all things MKE, it's important to add taking a selfie or a few group pics with the Bronze Fonz! He was very willing to take tons of pictures with us! The great things is he's close to places to grab a bite or a cocktail. MKE must to check off your tourist list. Locals dig him too!
Great photo opportunity.
Remembering the good old days!
Great location right on the river walk..a must see for any Happy Days and Henry Winkler fan..
If you're on a photo tour of Milwaukee...
Was difficult to find, but when did, fun to see!!
Seems a little cheap for such an iconic figure of Milwaukee. Its not terrible but expected better. If it wasn't for the clothes or thumbs up gesture we wouldn't have been able to tell who it was. Nice views from the location though.
A must photo OP when in milwaukee
Gotta check it out if your close and loved Happy Days. Typical Fonz pose except you get to pose with him. Sure is short though. Wonder if it's life size?
Brought back fun memories!
I heard of this by researching places to see in Milwaukee since we flew here on our Chicago trip (short drive to Chicago). We got our pic taken happy to say!
We went for my birthday and everything was delicious. Mario and Paula were both exceptionally nice. I would go again in a heartbeat.
So cool for someone like me that grew up watching Happy Days! Henry Winkler is a pretty short guy and his statue is life size.
A definite photo op. Easy to get to on river walk. Visit Gertie too - she's not far from the Fonz!
The Bronze Fonz gives that end of the beautiful riverwalk a fun lighthearted feeling. It's a great tourist destination and photo-op, but even as a life-long resident of Milwaukee I visit whenever I'm on the Riverwalk. I love that it gives a shout-out to Happy Days set here in Milwaukee.
Milwaukee's homage to the great Henry Winkler...ehhh....
Unique will be the right word for it... A must visit monument for all the Happy Days fans... It's a shame that the Chinese restaurant next to it must be replaced with something more according to the Happy Days theme.
Always fun to visit!!
Strolling along the Milwaukee River, you have to stop and visit the Fonz statute. A great part of Milwaukee!
If you love bronze and The Fonz...well, I hope you're sitting down. Because , your life is about to change.
Fun stop. Good location.
It's a bronze statue not that exciting
Fonz is much shorter in person. His jeans are tight like on Happy Days. It's chilly and windy out here by the water but couldn't pass up this opportunity.
Great to see the Fonz. Though I got hustled by a guy to get bus fare....then he sat there waiting for the next victim.
You have to go see the Fonz. Enjoy the scenery around it.
Just like the TV show
Very cool.
It was a 9 degree dusk. Drove up from Rockford, IL just to say I was in Milwaukee. Did a search, what is there to do in Milwaukee? Museums and other things came up but it was past five on a Sunday so no Pabst Mansion. What to do, what to do. I mean I don't just want to go there, step outside of the car, and get back in. So I thought...Milwaukee... Milwaukee!!! Happy Days!!! Low and behold, the Bronze Fonz. Plugged it into the Garmin and away we went. Parked a block away, walked down the hill. Got to the bridge and saw it across the street on the opposite side of the river from Rock Bottom. Stood next to it, got my picture. It's life size and boy is the Fonz tiny. I still wouldn't want to upset him because he could Carmine Ragusa my butt. So, I can say I've been to Milwaukee.
Another great photo op on the river front. 2nd time here. (last was 2015) the Fonz need a makeover. Needs a paint job or something. In the 3 years we were here, he has really let him self go. Still a great spot. Hard to find right now with the construction of the Well St. Bridge. Thanks to locals directed us there, come up from the south on Mason Street.
Fun photo op
Nice replica of the Fonz on the river walk.
Fonzie very cool attitude. Like he always says ; balls are pretty dry today !
Pretty cool. Take your pic with the Fonz
Nice homage to a piece of Milwaukee culture. It was humorous to watch a family take a picture with the sculpture and hear one of the kids ask," who is this guy anyway? "
Ugliest bronze fonze I've ever seen.
Exactly what youd expect, worth every zero pennies to visit.
Horrible. A small dwarf. Milwaukee doesn't deserve such an horrible sculpture
It was pretty cool to see.
Great photo location
Came all the way from Norwich UK to Milwaukee to meet my idol albeit in bronze, nonetheless everything I wanted it to be and more. 10/10 would recommend.
I've traveled all over the land and can tell you that this is the best Bronze Fonz you will find!
It's the Fonze! Can't beat it while walking in the pleasant and relaxing River Walk. Lots of fun little surprised along the way as well.
Beautiful walk along the river. Took a picture with him.
Quick stop along the riverfront walkway.
Awesome statue in a great location on the river. A historical part of Milwaukee that envokes pictures from locals and those visiting.
Two thumbs hey!
The price in the value were great which / Waze the slowness of the service and the unnecessary standing around with getting nothing done or having to have this done in that time because of her so-called rules and regulations
Very cool roadside attraction.
Sick a fun party of Milwaukee 414 !!!!!!
Most awesome!!
All I can say is ayyyy! Happy Days!
You gotta stop and see just because he’s the Fonz. It’s really great opportunity to laugh with others and take pictures for them. What a fun conversation starter!
One of the iconic photo ops along the Riverwalk
A classic stop along the water front while in Milwaukee. Henry Winkler is frozen in Carbonite.
The Fonz is much smaller than you you would expect it to be. He is not even on a pedestal.
There was tons of construction at the time and road closures which made it super hard to find. When we eventually found the statue it was pretty underwhelming but hey we finally saw it
It's the Fonz!!! How can you go wrong!!
It needs polishing...but cool picture oportunity
Just, so, cool
IM 2ND COOLEST IN MKE,FACTS KIDS,LOL,
The Fonz is a little weathered now. Much shorter than I expected too. Worth stopping by though. Hopefully, you won't get yelled at by teens picking trash out the water. That was my only negative view. Other than that the area is a nice walk.
Great seeing the fonz
It was a fun trip downtown yesterday. We went with our pug group. It's a neat thing to see. Smaller than I thought. Downtown Milwaukee is a very unique place. Go check it out. #Riverwalk
My friends and I took a stroll on this dynamic Boardwalk... Must see if your into music, fun and social enterprising.. Best time weekends
Easy to find
It's a good resemblance
Easy to find...great views
Fun to see a piece of TV history.
Always a fantastic & quintessential Milwaukee thing to see!
Loved happy days as a child. Ayyy in my fonzie voice
This sculpture looks intimidatingly for me
MKE icon. Bronze blue jeans, too.
Nice but too small, he was a small statured person, no reason to go 2/3's scale, it just makes a fun bit of Milwaukee dissipointing.
Bronze statue of Fonzi on the Riverwalk.
He's kind of a let-down. First, he's super- short- maybe 5' tall max. His face looks more like the Joker from batman than Henry Winkler. Fine for a laugh.
There isn't really a lot to the Bronze Fonz. It's a statue, of Fonzie, from Happy Days. Alright for a quick photo while you stroll along the beautiful Milwaukee Riverwalk.
Nice and peaceful but chilly.
It's Fonzie. Everybody loves the Fonz! Somebody had been taking a picture every time we've walked by this week.
It was cool. Smaller than I expected. It was snowing when we were trying to take a picture so didn't stick around long.
Love the Fonz.
Neat statue. Milwaukee icon. If visiting you have to get your picture with it.
Fonzy is a nice addition to the art walk along the river. Odd but Aaay, it's cool.
I dont knwo fonz, but my boyfriend wanted to take a look, so we took a selfie with him in the rain, hahaha
Ayyyy It's exactly what it says it is
Super cool
On the water. Near a couple bars.
He wasn't a great conversationalist, nevertheless I did enjoy meeting him.
All I can say is 'Aaaaaaaaaaay'! That should be enough. :)
Nice tribute on the river walk. Make sure to try out the new Hop, Free transit trolley.
Growing up in Milwaukee makes this a must stop whenever I have out of town guests. It's a fun stop along the river walk.
Even the don's likes Brit Floyd
Fun part of walking the "River Walk."
If you want a picture with the Fonz than this is the place. He's actually quite short.
It's a statue fun to take a pic with but it's a statue
I mean, ayyyyy ... two thumbs up!
Great experience! Took my kids here on the way to S Dakota. This park is really nice. My cousin even got pooped on by a seagul. The statue is really nice and bears a really good likeness to Henry Winkler. Its even close to his real height! Definitely will be coming back. I love Milwaukee and Wisconsin!
OK Took a few pics. Since he got there after I moved and never went there before.
One of the stops along the river walk. If you were a “Happy Days” fan, worth stopping by and taking a snap.
Great bit of nostalgia for Milwaukee city. Spend five minutes over by the bridge and to do the Riverwalk. Definitely worth it. Fonzie could be repainted but it’s a little bit of trivia and great nostalgia for all of us old enough to remember happy days. Kool five min stop for a pic.
Ahhhhh, it's alright, just take a picture and move along
Very cool to visit this piece of art. I went during the evening. While the night offers a different perspective to the area, I am willing to bet that the view is even better in the daytime. I recommend stopping by the Safehouse if you're in the area
A little piece of quirky Americana history.
A quick, fun and free activity on the beautiful riverwalk. Pretty great selfie opportunity.
neat man.
Looks weird, but fun in a kitschy way
The view is fabulous
Cool 70s memory of "the Fonz" played by Henry Winkler in the television series Happy Days! Stands on the Milwaukee downtown riverwalk with nice restaurants with a view of tour boats going by and under draw bridges.
We went in the evening and it is not well constructed... I'm not an artist but I felt like they could have done a better job at this. It's right by the river walk and, I guess the best part, it's free to see!
No hate it's cool place
