Betty Brinn is an awesome place for kids and there families they have somany activities for kids to get into and everything is safe and its a very good environment for everyone

Kelly R

I'm trying to get information on the ASTC program since I have a membership with another ASTC museum. Their website states to call. Their phone options state to view the website. Their phone menu takes you in circles and their mailbox is full so you can't leave a message. I'm not driving 3+ hours one way just for information. How disappointing.

Todd Ogren

Very educational and so much for kids to do.

Kahlise Reed

It's so exciting, fun, and kid friendly!

Emelis Santiago

Its ok. But not interesting there is not much for the kids to do. Years ago they had alot of things kids couldve done even scientific things.

Kelly Mech

So fun for my 18 month old! Got crowded by noon on a Saturday but it was a good time to leave for lunch and nap anyway. We'll be back soon!!

Sami Garza-Nagel

This place is amazing! I took my son and his cousins and they had the best time. From playing in the shopping/work area, to the nature area, to the big like factory-esque area, to the ramps with the golf balls, and the big play place. They were just thrilled. We went on a free night but the prices are so reasonable that we are planning on doing a day trip as well. Great for kids to be active and learn indoors on crummy days. Loved it!

S Gray

Great for small children who still enjoy pretending. My 14 month old enjoyed all the activities. I’d guess that children over the age of 10 are going to lose interest in the place very quickly or find the toys inaccessible.

Blake Foster

Very crowded, lots or broken exhibits and pretty much every exhibit had missing pieces. Not a terrible place but definitely a one time only place

Daniel Malsch

Excellent stuff for the kids, however the staff was very rude and started forcing everyone out at 4:40 and we're complaining about kids making a mess at a CHILDRENS museum. Some serious improvements need to be made

Ashley Barrett

So much fun and learning for the kids!! Highly recommend!

Barbara Holzmann

Extremely interactive with dozens of activities.

Steve Murawski

Lots of activities to encourage the kids imaginations, as well as science and maker activities.

Ashley Rodriguez

What a great children's museum! Lots of space - not too crowded. Was lucky enough to have the place almost to ourselves during a midweek visit. Lots of actovotoes and subjects to entertain and teach children.

Nicole Herriges

We've been coming to the Betty Brinn Children's Museum since my son was 2. He's now 5 and still loves it. And the employees have never been nothing but kind!

Sheila Lair

This place is a germaphobes nightmare... Its a building full of things to touch with 100s of kids running around. Only way to clean your hands is on the lower level.

J Bethea

All my grandchildren love the place

Antony Woolmer

The grandkids love the place

Shatorya Jones

The pricing is deceptive. Clearly states 1yr and under is free, my daughter is only 15 months old and they charged $9. What it should say is 12 months and under. Other than that it was a lot of fun for my daughter.

Nayda Balasch

So much fun for the kids.

Bobby Schmidt

What happened here? Place was in disarray: staff would just walk by and not clean up/put things away so everything was out of place. Didn’t see a staff member smile once. Really a shame and definitely not going back.

Yolamda Perez

It's really Kool my grandson enjoyed it

Jeanette Iacono

Tons of engaging exhibits, really neat and interactive.

Jim Bach

This is a great place for your young child to learn and explore... Lots of well crafted hands-on exhibits to use and enjoy.

Leanna Ostrowski

I love bringing my daughter! So many activities and items for kids to play with!

T Foru

The children love it! It's a Hands-On Museum with activities for children. Even if we stay 6 hours they aren't ready to leave. Even my thirteen-year-old continues to ask when will we go back again.

Teri Grubbs

Displays need maintenance. Everythingbshould operate properly

Jessica Sciborski

I only gave them one star because zero wasn't an option. We got there when they opened on a Sunday, and within an hour there were so many kids my son couldn't do anything. There were big kids in the toddler room and unsupervised kids everywhere with parents on the phone. Kids were running and screaming. My son was hit in the face. Nobody was enforcing the rules because the kids working there were playing scrabble, dancing, and yelling to each other. One of them used inappropriate language while yelling to another one about what they got each other for Christmas. This place definitely needs to cap their admission or sell hourly tickets like trampoline parks do. It was not fun and not safe. We will never go back.

Darkgamer 1.0

Nice place to bring your children to have fun with the activities they provide.

Jason Eiting

Such a wonderful place for children. Something for kids ranging from 2 years to 10 years. Hands on learning activities. Most exhibits are changed out evwry few months. Other are long term and always provide constant learning opportunities for kids. Prices are reasonable and many if not most exhibuts are sponsored by local corporations. Views of downtown, art museum, discovery world, and the lakfront are beautiful from this location.

Rachael Bush

Another successful trip to Betty Brinn! My boys and I had a great time. The staff was friendly and the museum was in tip top shape.

Todd M Kuikka

Fantastic interactive family fun!

Rob Woods

Spent the afternoon here and it was a fine experience for the kids. It is however very small (maybe a dozen areas?) and most importantly it wasn’t a museum because they dont teach anything there. It is an occupational playground with many missed lessons: a grocery store that doesnt teach about weights and measures, a tv studio and green screen that doesnt teach about signal transmissions or how anything works, an auto shop that doesnt teAch about engines. If they would insert even a tiny bit of education it could be considered a museum, but as said, its an occupational playground.

Indica Salazar

Great place to take the kids! They always have a lot of fun! It's cheap and affordable for single parents or low-income parents! kids get in free and a lot of great restaurants nearby great view of the lake and the Art Museum and just a wonderful place for the kids to learn and use their imagination!!

Caroline Brown

We went here for a class field trip. My daughter and her friends had a ton of fun!

J W

Always enjoy exploring this children's museum and love attending the various event offered throughout the year.

Hellava Doit2DeathRidersMC

The children loves it but its not for adults at all!!!!

ben miller

Are 2.5 year old had a lot of fun playing in the different areas. Lots to see so will go back.

Danielle Tolzmann

As Gumma to a busy running 3 yr old, I really appreciate the toddler zone. Fun area for the older kids too - easy to miss tho, it's behind the gift shop! Enjoyed our visit.

Rhegan Stansbury

We love children's museums and I appreciate how this one had some different things we aren't used to seeing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Brianna Williams

Always love the children's museum. Keeps the kids engaged

Marcelle Baker

A great place to take the little ones! Watching your child learn and explore while creating positive memories. What could be better.

Sneha Chandrika

Best option for hosting a children's event or party. Organized my nephew's birthday party. The kids enjoyed the amphitheatre set up of the room and even though hosting the event for a certain time period, guests in the party have free access to the museum all day long. Interesting and educative options for the kids to learn and grasp new things. Highly recommended for all parents and also for organizing affordable events.

Elizabeth Charland

We went today when children got in free (and adults had to pay) during Milwaukee Museum week. We brought 1 and 3 year olds. It was my second time visiting and I wasn’t very impressed. The baby/toddler area was overrun with large kids. The “town/city” area was fun, but given that it was a discounted day, it was very crowded. The Kohl’s Science exhibit (with the big play structure in it) was underwhelming to say the least. It was aimed for older children, but none of the activities were very interesting. Then there was the word factory exhibit, which was the most enjoyable for my kids. I was left wondering if there were more exhibits or a second floor....but there was not. The entire center of the museum was empty and closed off and didn’t look like much was being done in a hurry to set up a new exhibit. Many items in all exhibits were worn out or broken. I could see how the place could be more enjoyable if you got lucky and it was a low crowd day, but it’s hard to predict when a not-very-well-supervised daycare or school group will come by. Having just gone to the Milwaukee Public Museum the day before, I can say that museum is much more enjoyable for my kids and also as a parent.

omfghaxes

Creative fun for the kids. They can't wait to return!

Dawn Sherwood

We love this place. It's very interactive and well put together. The kids have the best time here. Kids can touch and play with everything. They especially enjoy the Sendiks market!

Nicholas LaBonte

Favorite place to bring the kiddos

Paul Sites

Great place for kids to release some energy and learn at the same time

Brian Verwoerd

Wonderfully interactive, lots of areas to learn about and explore. This is the type of children's museum Blippi would go to check out if he was in the area.

S Sheikh

My 5 & 8 yr old loved, but my 12 yr old was a little bored. I would love if they had a cafeteria & more comfy seating for parents. Overall we had great family fun.

Kayla Peterson

Always have a great time here! Staff is great with kids!

chorizo

Best place to take toddlers, always fun, clean and there's always parking.

Tracy Berginz

This place is amazing for children of all ages. My grandson absolutely loves it and he's not even 2 years old yet.

Bhuvaneswari Muralitharan

Fun place for younger kids, they can experience being a shopkeeper or a shopper, they can see how a post office works... Good time pass for kids up to 7 years

Anita

Love bringing my kids here. They like to play and imitate adult things like working on a car or working in a television studio aka newscaster.

Evelyn Berg

Love the concept of the museum, some use some improvements. Some toys are broken, very old. But, perfect for kids between 1 and 12, my son is almost 2 and loves to go. Membership is worth it if you plan on going more than three times a year.

Angela Sue

Fun place for kiddos!! The admission price was very reasonable too! My kids spent all afternoon there! Very sweet little place!

Will Hempel

The museum is a delightful way to entertain a 2 yr grandchild. Just let her explore on her own timeline. Many exhibits are "geared" to her age level and development. She consumed her time in the children's park. She was just delighted to play by herself, while we sat and watch her learn different ways to approach things. A great place to observe her learn how to discover herself. There are many other areas focused on different age levels, and it will be nice to watch her grow into theses areas of discovery.

Kevin O'Connor

Dedicated section for toddlers is wonderful

Christy Neckvatal

We always have a ton of interactive fun with our kids. Science, art, kitchens, buses, cars, a bank and much more.

Jennifer Robinson

Excellent place to bring your kids.Children love to have fun and learn , and hence this is the best place for children.

Robbin Featherston

We brought our almost one year old and even though it is geared for a little bit older kids he loved the under 4 area. It was nice and clean and quiet. Definitely recommend.

Eric Heintz

A fun place to take your kids and entertain them for hours! I even had a blast as well! A nice get away from the daily grind of work and life. Definitely recommend you stop by and visit! It is located downtown so parking may be an issue, but there is a garage located there if you so choose.

mikeinkaptenemo

It was fun for my kids. The vast majority of the activities there seem to be focused around the preschool/kindergarten school age kids, with some exhibits for older kids. The science area was pretty cool. Both of my kids really enjoyed the computer "coding" station. I would definitely recommend this place if your children are between 4-10. Anything older and the kids might get kind of bored.

Michele Thielke

An amazing and super fun place for kids!

Christine Fuller

I love the hands on experience for my niece

Rebecca Acton

Great place to take your kids to let them explore all kinds of amazing things. They even have a toddler section. My kids loved it. My only caveat is that you have to keep a close eye on your kids because there are winding hallways and lots of other kids. They can be out of your sight in seconds.

Ada Hanson

It turns out our ASTC reciprocal memberships from home were valid here and we wanted our 18 month old to get some activity in before nap time so we dropped in. This is a pretty cool little museum on the upper floors of the Miller Pavilion. It's not super large but it makes excellent use of the space. There are a few regions in the museum (science, language, town, and a "maker" space), all of which were getting pretty good use when we were there. The thing we appreciated was the "Pocket Park", which was a 4 and under specific area where we could let our toddler explore and have fun as well as interact with a number of other kids who also seemed to be in the pre-nap-time crazies. Really excellent if you are traveling with small children for this area, and probably even better for the larger kids

Dj Diym

My kid had fun. So no worries from me.

Amanda Conway

We've been looking for fun, poor weather friendly place for our toddler, this is perfect!!

Mary R.

Needs a major reno.

Ryan Ulm

This place has a decent blend of staple, static exhibits: motorcycles, bus, grocery store, construction zone, tube and tunnel system, and a regularly rotating array of seasonal activities (the baseball exhibits were great over summer of '19). Depending on when you go, sometimes the seasonal setup is a little light, but kids love it, it's usually clean and organized, and parking is cheap with museum admission (just remember to pay for parking when paying for admission).

teresita arias

Awesome place for kids to explore and learn new thing. BaM workshops are awesome also

Megan Wilson

It was really a neat place for the kids we went on a field trip today and the kids made art robots with makers that moved and made circle pictures on the paper on the table they had a great time my son asked if we could go back with out school on the bus we will be back for sure!!

Chris Powalisz

It's a great place for kids to do interactive things and learning it's fun informative and awesome learning and all the kids fun

Der VVarchild

Great place to take the kids in downtown Milwaukee. Lots of fun exhibits for the kids. Museum is right by lake Michigan and the art museum. So you have other activities before or after

Amber Raflik

A place for parents to bring their children and let them run rampid while they sit on their phone. There is no method or supervision to how the children play. If you want your child to try an exhibit, be ready to wait for at least half an hour while the other child takes their turn since no one emphasizes sharing or taking turns. The available exhibits are pretty neat, and there could be some strong learning if there was any supervision or guidance to the play.

Amanda Richardson-Meyer

This is by far the best children's museum I've been to. There are so many activities using various methods of engaging the children. I really appreciate how they have all the labeling and questions in both English and Spanish. They are part of the ASTC passport program, which allowed for us to use our membership from our local children's museum when visiting Milwaukee.

Jovan Walker

My baby loves this place.Wehad a wonderful time..

Raymond Pagliari

One of the best museums we have visited. The kids had a blast

Favian Sanchez

Great location. Nice lake view. Not to crowded.

Gina Langridge-Marlowe

Love the opportunities for children and families

Katie Wenger

My kids loved this place, so many things to do. Cant wait to go back.

Kristina Kuehl

Definitely for kids younger than mine but a nice place to spend a little time. We still had fun. Smaller than I expected for Milwaukee.

Russ Brown

Great place to take kids for an on hands experience to learn about science in a fun way. Our Grandkids had a ball as we did watching them going from one area of the building to the next. Two hours went by very quickly. Recommend that a visit is well worth the time.

Neshea Lucas

The kids always have a great time!

nakasha dukes

As always Betty Brinn was fun and not to mention my Lil Cousin Jackson's "1"St birthday a success!!!

Paul Wemlinger

Fun place to hang with your grandkids

Letrell Jefferson

My son loves to come here

Dan Gnadt

Great place for the kids. New year's day countdown to noon was super fun

Timmothy Calloway

Not bad, I wish there was a way to make each station not opened to other people distributing the one that's doing the activity.

Nitra J_Live

Great place to take kids to have fun. There a lot of hands on activities

Michelle LaFrombois

Great place for your young children or grandchildren to learn through play. Love this pkce

R A Seethaler

Cute interactive museum. It's a shame the parents of older children there are barely supervised. It makes it harder on the toddlers to have fun.

Lina P

Took my grandson, best time ever. WE had fun!!

Mike Stelzner

It is nice for little ones, the first time you go....but don't expect much 2nd time...it is small.

Laura Kuehl

I can’t give this 1 star, because my kids had a blast, but we were seriously frustrated with the service and how run down the place was. First, we looked into whether or not our museum membership would transfer and this would be free. They are a program participant - so it should have been. They couldn’t figure it out, so we had to pay. It wasn’t a huge deal. They told us they’d email the tech people since “so many people have been complaining.” We were completely respectful - $20 isn’t a problem. When we showed them why we knew they were program participants the manager gave us a ton of attitude (she was already working the front desk). We had already paid without complaint, there was no need for attitude. The building itself was run down. Many of the exhibits were not working or partially not working. Many had missing pieces. While we certainly won’t be back the next time we’re down in the area, (Discovery World is MUCH bigger and much better run) my kids all enjoyed their time there and didn’t notice the same things we did.

Sara Arendt

Our girls just love this place! So many different things to keep them active and engaged.

Tom Forness

Great place for kids to explore and have fun

Brad Schimian

Great place. Kids had fun. Starting to look a bit dated, and several of the stations were out of order.

Tina Hansen

My 4 year old loves to play here. He's learning while he plays, it's a win win.

PIPTomato Jennette Stevenson

A great place for kids of any age! My three month old loved all the colors, lights, and ‘big kids’ running around while my two year old enjoyed every single station he could get his hands on. We arrived right after they opened on a Wednesday morning and found it easy to enjoy the museum, even with a local school’s field trip being there too. We really enjoyed the little toddler section. All in all, we spent about 4 hours and had only gone through around 60% of the whole museum. We will definitely be returning to Betty Brinn Children’s Museum the next time we visit Wisconsin.

n c

Too many ppl. But nice n cool place for kids. Rlly fun!!

Bryan Cook

Excellent place to bring your kids. Lots of fun exhibits that are kept in pretty good condition. Easy to get to and the kids love it.

Carolyn Walker

Nice place to take children to learn

Jon Valcq

Fun place with a lot of things for kids to explore.

Mariam Cass

My 4 year old loved it. Nice way to spend a couple hours with your little one.

nick thompson

Great place for the kids to be kids and make new friends totally worth the money which is not a lot. Make sure u validate the parking tho saves u a lot. Great staff as well.

Sandra Torres

Because children learn a lot by playing.

Brianna Wallace

My kids and I really enjoyed this museum. I’ve been to a few children’s museums here and there but I think this one was the best. We were here for a couple hours and still didn’t get a chance to see everything. I think there’s things for every single age (from 1 year up)! My daughter is 18 months and my son is almost 4 and both of them had a blast. The entire place is well taken care of and there is such a variety of things to learn/do. Plus, I’ve found there’s really not too much kid-friendly things to do in Milwaukee so I’m so thankful we found this. Thank you for a great time!

Latisha Brown

This is a really cool place I brought my 2 year old and my 8 year old. They both had a great time

Ruth Piper

This is a great place to take young kids. They can try a lot of different things. They can "go grocery shopping," drive a train or bus, and many other things. Unfortunately the price of admission for children is higher than I would have expected.

Stingy

The managers are so rude. I won't be going back here ever again.

Samantha L

I've taken my oldest daughter... Of which is now 17.. many times yrs ago n had a awesome time.. took my 9 yr old there n it just isn't what it use to be.. the place was packed.. messy with random toys all over.. loud.. my daughter grew bored pretty fast .. won't be going back

Barry Karpinski

Wonderful activities for kids. Spent hours here and the kids had a blast. Very clean and creative activities.

Michael Harris

Why call this a museum when it is a place for kids to learn about how terrible their life will be! Emphasis on hourly jobs like bus drivers, bankers, realtors. Nothing wrong with the job, I thought when you say museum, I think history, artifacts etc...not pretend jobs....

Ryan Marqui

My children loved it here. There is so much to do. The little village set up in there is amazing it let's the kids get a feel for all different types of grownup jobs. Even a little supermarket for them to pretend shop.

Alice Baker

We had an awesome time. Tina at the front desk was so cool and really helpful on info about the museum and surrounding city area. The museum is amazing and the kids had so much fun. Hands down the best children's museum ever.

Marisa Milner

I have a membership here so we have been going quite often. My children love it here! There are so many different things for children of all ages to do. My son has ASD and SPD so this is a great place for him to learn and it's very sensory friendly. My daughter is 9 and she also finds activities here that interest her and teach her as well. It's very inclusive. They're also open on the weekends which is a huge plus since my daughter goes to school and cannot always go on a school night since they are only opened until 5pm.

Rob Wagner

Such a fun experience, the kids all love this place!

Jessica Lynn Mould

Be prepared for a lot of school groups that visit. They come through in large batches and sort of take over different sections so we try to move around opposit of what they do. Absolutely love going there I would say the oldest age would be somewhere around six.

Kitty High

It was a wonderful event me & my family were invited to children as well as myself enjoyed the activities and staff

Amanda Wagner

Love taking my 3 year old here. So much for him to do and everything he touched is educational in some way. Not to mention he can touch everything. No chasing after him yelling to put that down or don't touch that. I can let him just be his curious 3 year old self and really dive into the learning.

Cookie MonstA

Good place for little kids, very hands on.

Cindy Cutler

Loved this place. Very reasonably priced. My grandson had a great time.

Lee Evans

We were very impressed by the staff and facilities! I wish I would have had something like this when I was a kid.

Michael Rodriguez

Perfect place to go with the kids on a rainy or cold day. Hours actually work out well considering other common options are closed. It can get very crowded but overall it's a great experience for the kids.

TT Lynn

We have been here several times in the past. This time the kids were less than impressed. Most of the exhibits were either not working or not working correctly. The few employees we saw seemed less than happy to be there.

Lataivia Taylor

Very clean facility, my 21 month old enjoyed himself. They do military discounts and I only paid 13$ for myself and son.

Lisa K

Was great family fun. Hands on education. Lots of fun

Shelby LovesIreland

Their heart is in the right place, and I guess I shouldn't be too picky, since it is a place for kids, but it's always so messy and 90% of the equipment is broken. I hate walking up to something I want to show my kids, only to have to tell them "Oops, sorry kids. This one is broken too." And have to quickly find them something else to keep their interests before they associate science and learning with broken and not fun. Just wish they were more on their game about maintenance.

Lego master

What an awesome children’s museum. My son loves coming here, still at the age of 6. He loves the little town, especially the grocery store. And the factory area with the letters is so cool too. Great place to take little ones

Jessica Sachs

It's a great place to visit at least once, but I think that some of the exhibits could benefit from an update. The day we were there the museum wasn't very busy but yet many items seemed out of place in the exhibit or missing from the area all together. My daughter was looking forward to going into the craft area, which did not open during our visit despite hours being posted on the door suggesting that it should be open.

Candace Carter

I loved this museum and so did my kids. They had an awesome time exploring each of the areas (next time we'll go earlier so they have more time to play). I like the set up and how the kids can learn about different topics in a hands-on way.

Bruce Heilbrun

Nice changes recently, my grandchildren love it, and I liked the new state oriented presentations.

MaryAlecia Briggs

Lots of non-functional exhibits, screaming children, over flowing water fountain, and $20 for admission? Closed exhibits? The entrance alone should have been a good enough clue to avoid this place: difficult to find, unwelcoming, cold, etc. This place needs a serious upgrade!

Brian Berg

Was treated very disrespectfully by Cathy at the front desk. If she is still employed here when it's time for us to renew, I doubt we will!

Angela Homburg

So much fun! My 7yr old had a blast! I definitely recommend getting in early before the rush though!

Ashley Smith

Awesome place. Highly recommend. Areas that are suitable for a wide range of kids. Also great that it doesn't break the bank! Also yay science!!

Jenny Skrenes

Good variety of educational activities and play areas. Great view of the lake.

Ross Schultz

Always a great time for young kids!

Tiffany Lucas

Definitely for quite younger children.

meg sprecksel

Such a wonderful time! I took my niece (3) and my son (10) and they played for 2 hours without getting bored. There is so much for them to play with and explore! Admission is $9/ea, but I felt it was worth it.

Dana Williams

Great place for kids to challenge themselves

Placido Martinez III

My kids love this place and as do I. There always changing and adding something new. My kids really like the crafts they get to make and take home. They really get excited about the fact “we get to make AND take it home.” Thank you guys for always making it a fun and memorable time for us.

Kristina Moore

This is such a great place to take the kids. My 2yr old had so much fun running around from exhibit to exhibit. There is so much to do and see.

Mary Ellen Olson

Lovely place whether you're 5 or 55. Very innovative hands-on exhibits and activities for children. Would be a great field trip spot for school children!

Kay Hogan

Free every 3rd Thursday! Like the fact that they change up the theme to keep you learning something new. The theme now it's all about the baseball. Sometimes they have lots and lots of free book for the kids!

John Ramthun

Fun place for children and parents to learn and plan. Had a hard time leaving. Just wanted to stay longer.

Noel Bettinger

We got a membership here because it's the best value and we plan on coming back!

Joe H

Half the stuff doesn't work here. Have to explain to kids why things don't work here. Items are full of germs and filthy. Half of the stuff was blocked off and said do not enter. I wouldn't waste your time here go to Discovery World instead better yet plan a trip to go to the Museum of Science and industry in Chicago

Sinn TCSMOBB

Very fun, my son loved it.

Allen Blair

My 8 and 6 year old girls absolutely loved this place!!! The play grocery store kept them entertained literally for hours.

Judy LaPlante

So, so cool. The student made it

Jessie King

Great place for my little children. They love coming here..

Anne Stadler

Had a wonderful time at the Betty Brinn Museum. My 4 year old nephew played and ran around for hours. Will definitely be taking him back .
