Really fun place! It was our first time and loved it. They have tons of rides and they have a lot of people working there to help and guide you. Lockers are also all over but add to the overall cost of the trip. Food options are pretty good and not too expensive for the portion size you get. The showers are also clean and spacious.

This is the first time we've gone to Water Country. I must say we had a great time! The wait times for most of the rides were very long but considering it is a holiday weekend, I won't complain. The staff was helpful and the food was good! My only complaint, the women's bathrooms!! Someone needs to check them every hour, at least! Other than that, great family place. Rides for kids of all ages. Go, you'll enjoy yourself!!

This place is great for the family. We have 2 kids ages 4&7 and there is plenty for them to do. They have several water areas/slides for little kids in addition to the big water slides. The park was very clean and the prices are very reasonable. It's a great family place!

Great place for family outing of water fun. They even offer healthy dining options. Food is a little on the expensive side. Better to plan your own meals to be eaten back at your vehicle then re-enter the park. Try to plan your trip on a dry day (thunderstorm free), otherwise you will spend time waiting for attractions to open.

Well this is one of the better water parks out there in a very large size park with a lot of things to do. I highly recommend it if you're in the Virginia area looking to cool off and go to a water park and the brand new cutback water coaster is a lot of fun. This water park is across the street from Busch Gardens Williamsburg and it's a great day to spend half the day in both.

The staff was extremely helpful. Had an issue with me losing tickets and their staff was courteous and patient when dealing with me. They quickly resolved the issue. The overall atmosphere was fantastic and very family friendly.

Was cool place to take the family and hang out. The wave pool was nice, but the slides were really fun. There are some exhilarating rides that are a blast. Only downside is a lot of walking, including taking many steps to get to the tops of slides. It wasn't super crowded but definitely felt it on certain slides.

Decent size park. Not too big. Had fun walking around some of the rides waits were long and they had the fans on in lines and it made everyone cold :( paid $13 for 4 small tenders and literally 8 waffle fries. It's super expensive. But fun to come and swim around. I'd pack your own food.

This water park was so fun. I'm from New Jersey and came to Virginia just for Water Country USA and Busch Gardens with my children. The rides are great and the lines moved so fast. Will definitely be returning again.

Great park! Clean, well laid out, lines aren't usually too bad and the food is fairly good with a decent variety took choose from. Has since great slides and an overall great number of different rides to keep you busy throughout the day. Plus entry really isn't awful compared to a lot of parks, especially with a membership or a fun card. Remember to bring some water shoes though as the pathways get HOT!

This is a great place to come with family and/or friends. I suggest coming with it first opens to avoid the crowd food can get expensive so maybe pack a lunch. Buy the big soda collectible cup for I think free or .99 refills, can be worth it. Friendly staff and very clean. I love it every time I go!

Come in the morning leave in the afternoon cause this place gets full quick! Splash parks are strategically placed about the park so don't hesitate to split kid duty with your partner and actually enjoy the awesome rides.

The family and I love this place a lot. Been to Water Country USA several times over the years. The ticket prices of course have went up over the years since we have been going and that is to be expected. Food prices I would say are a bit pricey for the amount of food that you get. They also have a alcohol bar for adults by the wave pool. We have always had no problems, only lots of fun on the rides. Bathrooms, showers & locker areas are pretty much clearer and nicer for the most part. My only real complaint is the people working for Water Country, the people that working always look extremely unhappy no matter who you see, which ride you are riding or which stand you visit to grab a bit to eat or drink. The atmosphere for this place doesn't even compare to the Disneyland parks and that's what really doesn't do it for me. People are what really set the tone & the mood for the rest of the park, even if it is just a water park and that's what really bothers me about this place. They could do so much better if they had better training.

We enjoyed most of our time here. I advise wearing shoes when moving from one attraction to another. We loved the wave pool! I advise renting lounges or a cabana. Four stars because the wave pool was shutdown without explanation.

Our family had a great time. The only thing I would suggest is cleaning and maintain the bathrooms, the receptacles in the bathroom stalls, and the trash cans throughout the park. I understand this is a waterpark and you have thousands of people strolling in throughout the day. However, the bathrooms were disgusting, out of toilet paper, and smelled awful.

Amazing! The only thing it lacks is a regular adult swimming pools They do have a wave pool and small kiddie pools though. But the water rides are all great!! Very good selection of rides. They always have specials on their website for discounted tickets, just check it regularly. Either way it's worth the money.

Always so much fun!! I have a 3 yo, 4 yo and 6 yo and there is something for all of us to do!! They can even ride some of the bigger water slides as long as they have a vest on so it's fun for all of us and I am not stuck at the kiddie pool the whole time!! Always have so much fun here!!

I would probably come here again. I came with my sister and my brother - in - law. The only issues I had while we were there was a lot of walking and hills which I didn’t complain too much about. I counted it as good exercise lol but the lines were super long and that became frustrating at times and I wanted the shrimp but they were too expensive in my opinion for the amount that you get so I passed.

Only reason I went here is because of my kids, they love all the water rides which are fun for them. Please be warned that if you use a wheelchair or have a hard time walking due to medical conditions this place is not for you. They have hills everywhere you turn, and steep ones. I have pretty good upper body strength to push my wheelchair but I seen where parents had a hard time pushing strollers up those hills. It was a good work out for me.

Remains my favorite waterpark to this day. They have a wide selection of water slides that can appeal to all. The lines are usually pretty long but it's worth it compared to other waterparks. A bit pricier than some, but you can see why. Even the food is good.

It was a nice experience. It was quite crowded though and way too easy to lose your little one. General parking $17.00...whew Food a bit pricey, but my burger and fries were tasty. My peach vanilla swirl ice cream was good, too. I was able to use my souvenir cup from Busch Gardens at Water Country so that helped our expenses.

The first part of our vacation here in the Water Country was amazing! With so many rides ad so little time we had to quickly get on the family rides and with our mother and brother finally going on them for the first time we knew it was going to be a blast! There are plenty of places to relax and chill with the family and while some rides may shut down due to riders not following rules or faulty machinery it was still a worthwhile experience.

Absolutely awesome. I haven't had that much fun at a theme park in years. The staff were friendly and the rides were diverse enough for kids and adults to enjoy. Word to the wise, bring a decent set of water shoes or sneakers that can get wet. You will do some walking.

Great water park! Its a must if your visiting in the summer. Four areas for kids, i loved that they had kid size water slides for my son who wasn't quite tall enough for some of the bigger water slides with the tubes. Life vests are located in every part of the park in case you need to grab one. I would highly recommend getting the cashless wrist band, you only need to scan your wrist when paying for anything. Tons of chairs in all the area and there a quite a few chairs that are in the shade.

It was my kid's first time here and they were not disappointed. They enjoyed the water rides and spent half of their time in the wave pool. We found great loungers under a huge umbrella right next to a snack shack and wave pool. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and we loved spending our day here!

We were only able to ride one ride before the thunder and lightning came and the park was shut down. My first time visiting and didn't get to partake in all of the activities but the time we were there was decent. I'll have to plan another visit to be able to rate accordingly.

I always enjoy spending time at this park. The rides are very fun to ride. Especially Vanish Point. Not many people are brave enough to ride it so the lines are very short. Right next to it is cutback. Cool ride. Long lines and the quick q option further lengthens the amount of time spent waiting to ride it. But all in all is fun to ride. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful throughout the park. There are places to eat all through the park. All in all an enjoyable experience for all ages.

Long lines from trying to get into the parking lot to getting on every single ride. If you can’t afford their “easy pass” I suggest not even bothering going unless you and your family can withstand the hour + waits to ride a 30 second water slide. You’ll spend most your time in the floating river or wave pool since their aren’t lines for them. Great park and the rides we went on were fun but the time spent waiting was just ridiculous.

The kids loved the wave pool and stayed in there all day. The kiddie pools are nice and enjoyable for little ones. In order to combat the sun one must get in the water or find a shady area, otherwise you'll be on the hot concrete all day.

I love this place. Bring water shoes or flip flops. Get the cashless wristband and you can just charge what you want without having to take your wallet or credit card around. Quick pass is worth it on Saturdays. Strawberry Daiquiris are on point!

Very well kept and clean park. The lines during peak season are very long and can take up to 2 hours. Food was good but what you would expect from a theme park. The rides themselves were very fun and safe, plenty of rides for all ages! Each ride is unique and will give an experience for any level of thrill seeker. I highly recommend this park for any water lover but try to go during a weekday when it'll be less busy.

So much fun! Admission prices aren't too bad, But the season pass is worth it if you want to go to Busch Gardens as well, or bring a friend along. Depending on the date the lines can be long, so Quick Queue could be worth it. Love the new water coaster!

Always a great place to go if you have the time and willing to swim. Now the food is great but I would love if they had more fruits/vegetables for sale at the vendors. Greasy food while swimming is a little harsh on the stomach. Sunscreen is needed and water. But all in all having a season pass will save on all the parks Busch Gardens has to offer.

We love this water park. It is very easy to navigate and find your way around. We have learned to arrive early to ride the rides, break for lunch then do the wave pool in the afternoon! The locker system at Water Country is so easy and the clerks assist you with the rental.

Been taking two boys here for two years and it is family friendly. We usually pack lunch (bring a blanket and camping chairs) and eat dinner on the way home. Bring your water bottles but be sure to read the policy.

Very fun place to take your family. Things for all but the wave pool was definitely a family favorite. If your family doesn't like water slides and water costers there really isn't much to do unless you have little ones. The lazy river was a disappointment.O would definitely encourage your kids, who may be hesitant, to try the water slides they were all very fun and not scary at all.

First time I have ever been here. I ended up getting season passes for both water country and Bush Gardens. It's fun on a hot day. If you go on a weekend you may have to wait in line for some rides but if you go on a school day or middle of the week, it's not bad at all.

First time there: Arrived at 3:00 pm, Saturday. Parking lot almost full. Too be expected. Checking in went smoothly and fast. Lines for most water rides were 30-45 minutes wait, as anticipated. Pathways were clean and clearly marked. Several rides were closed, but you didn't know until you made the journey with two grandchildren. Restrooms were wet but clean and well stocked. There were plenty of lounge chairs at most of the preteen rides. Could use a few more benches between areas. Crowds started to thin out around 5:30 pm. Caution: A bottle of coke was $4.50 before pass discount. Shaved ices medium was around $5.00. Didn't eat any meals but assume the same as Busch Gardens. Recommendations : be prepared to wait in line. (Not as long as Disney) Be prepared to be able to climb many steps to great heights. Drink plenty of water. Have fun.

Very pretty and well kept park. Staff and lifeguards are very nice and courteous . It's a decent size park so you will deff be there all day. They have a good amount of water slides and kids slides. Loved how the water was not too cold or too warm. Overall very nice park and did I mention the food was phenomenal.

The park was very clean, the rides were run efficiently, and there is something for people of all ages! We had such a fun time! Parking and locker rentals are a little pricey, but since we were able to save money on our tickets by buying them on Groupon, it wasn't too expensive.

Fun, but not worth it at all when there are a lot of people. The wait is just too much. Waited an 30mins to an hour to ride things that lasted maybe a minute. Plus not as many rides and such as I thought for something people rave about.

Water country was great.... it seem like early June is the perfect time to go. There was probably only 100 people there and we were able to ride multiple times on all the rides pretty much all day! There was no lines and the kids had a blast..... the adults had a great time to..... will definitely come back this time of year ever year! Thanks Water County and Bush Gardens for a great two wonderful days with family and friends. What a great experience at both places to take a family friend trip. Hotels are close to both parks. Williamsburg is a great place to visit you could easily make it a week trip. Hope you enjoy your trip as much as we did!

What a blast! Plenty of "rides" for all accommodations and levels of thrill seeking or relaxing. Plenty of snack and beverage locations along the routes in between features. Food options were plentiful at restaurants and prices were not too outrages. Do expect an additional charge ($17) upon arriving for parking. I was more than disappointed by that. The only reason we're there is because we paid to get in, now we have to pay to park there? For the charge it should be valet, ha! Include it when we purchase the ticket so we know upfront, don't sneak it in like a trap. Other than That it was a fantastic time.

Our visit was 11 July 2019. I had not been here in quite a while since the kids are grown now, but I do have the grandkids to play with now. We had a great time. The lines were not bad, we could talk while we waited, so other lines were much quicker than others and the staff were pleasant and professional. The park is kept up and clean. I like the variety of water rides. One thing they need to do, is they don’t want folks to put the life jackets on backward which several times in the wave pool they had to stop it so the lifeguards had to tell grown folks to not do this. Across the front where the timer is, they should put this in big letters for all to read. This might help that small problem. They might want to consider swim noodles for rent for a small price in this pool. Just some food for thought. But over all we had a great time and we will definitely be back.

We took our 2 year old today and really enjoyed it. He loved going down the slides, even the bigger ones he could do. The kid play areas are great for little ones and the water is very shallow so ours didnt wear his vest while playing.

The park closes due to weather and it takes two hours to get out of the parking lot. There should be a form of traffic control, especially from such an prestigious theme park. The water rides are spaced out too far, and paths set up in a way that makes it challenging for anyone with a disability to get around. Our family had fun, but not enough to bring us back; we expected more from a Busch Gardens attraction, with regard to cleanliness and upkeep.

Great place for all ages. Be mindful of parking expenses and if you can, purchase tickets ahead of time for the lowest price. The water is crystal clear and rides are a thrill to go down. Be prepared to walk up lots of stairs especially if there's not a lot of lines. It's definitely a great place to hang out with friends or family for the day.

Had a great time here! General parking was $17 or you can take your chances and park at the Target next door. Food was $11-13 for a meal, kids meals are about $8 and sides are $4.50. Drinks are $3.50. Ride wait times were short, I think the longest we waited was 30 min for one ride but everything else was less than 10 min. The park was very clean and we'll maintained!

Very busy and expensive, with very long lines. The Quick Pass would have been required for real fun, but it is limited use and very expensive itself. Probably better to find a smaller water park. I had more fun at the water park within Great Wolf Lodge. The slides were not worth the wait for me.

Very fun, but go on a cloudy day or weekday to avoid crowds and bring a cooler with stuff for lunch. They have food there but it's cheaper to bring your own lunch since they allow you to leave and come back as long as it's the same day. Parking is plentiful, but not free.

Our family had a full day of fun here. We rented four loungers in the lazy river area which came with two lockers and four lunch vouchers which made it worth the money. We liked how it was in a quiet, uncrowded area. We ate at the Mexican bowl area and the food was passable, but later got wraps and pizza which wasn't very good. American cheese and cheap looking Turkey on the wrap. I do wish there was better quality food at these type places and at a reasonable price. The prices on the food and drink are astronomical which would be okay if the quality was there. At least they vegetarian offerings. We will definitely rent the loungers again as we felt that was a good value.

I've been to better water parks. They have only 1 life guard at bottom of rides when they can have 2 or more in some rides ,making the wait in lines rides longer. The food selection isn't that great either.

We loved it! Ride wait lines weren't bad especially the last few hours at the end of the day. Recommend getting free Quick Pay wristband to link your credit/debit card to so you don't have to carry around your wallet. Glad you don't have to move your stuff to a different locker every 2 hours like in Busch Gardens. Plenty of shaded areas to sit and eat. Restrooms were really clean. They also provide free ice water in paper cups to keep you hydrated even when on a tight budget.

Had so much fun. I loved the fact they had options on allowing younger kids to ride the bigger slides as long as they had on life vest because my little 4 year old risk taker got on all that he could most parks he is to short and it difficult trying to explain to a 4 year old boy why he can't ride yet

Best water park in Virginia. There are mature trees throughout the park so that there is plenty of shade in lines and walking around so you don't get sunburn. Rides are fun and there are many for inexperienced to thrill seekers

Fun rides. The lines are long depending on which weekend you go and unfortunately a lot of the lines are not covered (#sunburned). There is a good lazy river that's pretty fun. Prepare to take our your wallet, you still need to pay for parking (which is maybe a little cheaper than Busch gardens) and the lockers will cost you 10-30$ for the day depending on the size you need. Overall I'd rather go to Busch Gardens 9/10 times, but if water parks are your thing then go for it.

I've been to a handful of different water parks. This had the simplest and yet most green and lush layout. So attractive and easy to walk. However if you're a thrill seeker there are only a couple water rides which have that status. Most are casual even if appearing large is size. Great for a mix of family ages and place very 6 mos. or older kids too. But not worth full price admission being one of the highest priced water parks I have seen. Although it seems that there are several sales to be had most days to get good prices. Also not for thrills.

It is one of the best water parks we have gone too. Love the way they do their wave pool 10 minutes on then 10 minutes off. With a countdown clock and they keep the restrooms clean which I dont think is easy.

Many kid/toddler friendly areas. All day food deal is worth it. Get a full meal every 1hr and a half. Ask for right plan. They provide life jackets. Open at 10 and close at 6pm. Rides and water for all sizes

It was a great water park there was a lot of things to do. They had everything for everybody. The weather went garbage so we had to leave an hour early but it still good. Lines moved very quick they get an a plus it was great.

Went about two weeks ago. Enjoyed it. I like that it's not really (crazy) big. The wave pool was fun. Of course lots of cool water rides etc. for folks of different activity/skill levels. Lots of life vests of different sizes. Parking was kinda of weird. Was directed to what seemed an auxiliary lot. All in all good experience.

Very clean. Lines during peak season are astonishingly long. They have some good areas for the younger kids as well, which is nice. The main attractions are all pretty fun. The pool water in the various attractions is cleaner than the water in my HOA's pool. Expect a lot of walking as things are far apt.

Great park with great attractions and rides. Expect to spend a lot of time standing in lines. Also the life guards are usually rude teenagers. Still I had a fun time I will definitely be coming back.

I've been coming here since 2003. Every year! Before and after having kids! Great place to come and plus, bush gardens is literally right next to it! Great rides! The pool waves, hubba hubba highway are my absolute favorites!

The kids love it. Go early and leave early or you'll spend most of your time in lines and in crowds. A lot to do for most any age including small children. There are three or four different areas for small kids and the parks a good place to cool down

This place has been the best water park ever! I got to watch my kids for hours have nothing but a great time! Order tickets online combined with Busche Gardens and save! The adults are able to kick back and relax while kids have fun.

I am not a water park fan which is probably because i have never been to a park that just has water slides. I had a lot of fun at Water Country. The weather was grey so it wasnt overly crowded. We were able to do every slide without much of a wait. The water coaster is realy cool and i think it was worth the wait. I would definitely come back again.
