Cool spot to check out if you are passing thru Vermont. A cool little airport too, if you’re lucky you may see them launch a glider. The museum is full of gems.

Sweet little spot at the old Post Mills Airport. It's been turned into a bit of a museum of old stuff, and a bunch of wooden dinosaur sculptures. The owner Brian is a renown hot air baloonist and always has a minute to chat with a stranger. Fun place to check out.

Noah King

Weird and wonderful art piece, a community effort to build a monument.

I'm so glad I went to the vermontosarus! We came to participate in the Audi world cup of ski and some folks from the swedish team mentioned this attraction and said we shouldn't miss it. Good we listened to them. Is an spectacular attraction, it really shows what 100 people with hammers can do in 10 days. Is one of vermonts best attractions and I'm honestly surprised why isn't it more crowded every day. Really easy to spot it from the road and lots of space around for a quick picnic or BBQ. Bring extra memory cards or film because you'll be taking a lot of pictures, and never drink and drive.

Fun, entertaining, imaginative... if you are in the area definitely stop to play and take pics.

We battled dragons and we're victorious! We shall return again to battle more.

Worth the trip! A great way to spend an afternoon just visiting the dinosaurs and museum. If you're lucky maybe you'll get to see a balloon launch or glider take off.

I mile from me. I can't tell you how many times I have ran or biked past it. Significant piece of recent Vermont history. Don't forget to go the the Post Mills Balloon Festival every May, it will be there.

Brian Boland (the owner of Post Mills Airport) has always been a sort of inventor. He has always been very good with his hands, as well as his mind! The Vermontasaurus is just another example of this! Unfortunately, time has taken its toll on the Vermontasaurus and the wood has begun to sag a bit, making the rugged Vermont dinosaur a little..."belly-hung", if you will lol still, a great attraction to behold, nonetheless! Plus, if you go there on an afternoon when the wind is calm and the skies are clear, you can watch a single engine Cessna airplane tow a beautiful glider up into the sky ♡

Strange and unique. Worth stopping by if you are driving past.

Pretty awesome to see a community come together to help build something like this, was a beautiful little stop during our Vermont adventures!

Neat to see, not much more to it. Great little roadside stop to stretch your legs!

Griffin Stotland

Such an odd thing has never made me happier.

Seth Itzkan

I was happy to name this creation of sculptor and balloonist, Brian Boland. Other Vermont themed words and oddities of the area are Vermonumental and Vermonticello.
