Great place!!! But locals and tourist let their dog poop EVERYWHERE! !! They need stricter laws ....it's really vile and extremely unsanitary! !! ...especially after the winter thaw....

This is a local treasure all year long. Walk, run, skate, bike, whatever... This roughly 5 1/2 mile long path meanders through farm fields, and wooded areas along the West Branch River into Stowe Village. Well maintained, pet friendly.

There is a farmers market right off the path on some Sundays so was a nice treat for us. It made the path nicer as we were able to get a little local taste and souvenirs! There are many places to eat right off path but make sure you rent a lock if you rented a bike and want to stop and eat. Best on a bike for visitors. My wife and I stopped at the farmers market and took pictures throughout so it took 1.5 hours out. It was only 30 min back because it's downhill if you start from downtown Stowe for your trip.

Super awesome to go for a walk, bike ride, skateboard, longboard, or rollerblade. Really long, well maintained trail. Also check out some of the cool river spots along the way.

The Rec Path is one of the best features of Stowe. Perfect for running, biking, or walking, the scenic path takes you from Stowe's town center up towards the ski mountain. There's even a separate quiet path as well.

There are a lot of torn up patches between the nail and Stoweflake ATM. No bueno for blading, had to keep stopping when I was really getting into my groove.
