I was the one who was chosen to be the general mgr in 1955 by Tom the owner of Santa land and over see the building and development but I chose Pratt and Whitney sorry to say my friend Tom only lived about 4 years he also owned the motel across the street where I was to live while building I have visited with my kids a few times and enjoyed I hope that who ever owned it will continue to improve it yearly to have future grandchildren visit and enjoy with grand parents if I remember rite Mr popilie managed and built for Tom best wishes for long term success Wilfred paquette

Really quaint and cute. Feels like stepping back in time, definitely recommend to anyone who loves Christmas.

I am giving Santa’s Land 2 stars because I believe the owner is trying to continue the updates and work out the kinks, otherwise I probably would’ve given it 1 star. When we arrived, there were 3 small childrens rides that were unattended and gated closed. It was very disappointing considering that was the first place we went. It was a beautiful day and after paying almost $13/person you would expect someone to be there operating the rides. No one should have to go hunt down an employee so their kids can ride. However, the kids did enjoy the other rides which consisted of a train ride, large alpine slide (also unattended) and carousel. I do have to say the operator of the train and carousel were very nice. The place still needs a lot of updating and maybe more employees. Lastly, if you are going there to see Santa, do not get your hopes up. He was not there when we went. He was “sleeping” in his house.

I would not take me family here. Save your money and take your kids to Santa's Village in Jefferson, NH.

Was VERY Happy and Excited to see Santa's Land re-open! Checked Your schedule a few weeks ago to see when You were open and set up a Family re-union there on Sunday the 22nd.Took time off from work.Had relatives coming in from as far as New Jersey.Imagine our shock to find Santa's Land CLOSED! The Open sign was even out front.Several other Families also showed up and left after realizing You were closed. We had MANY,Happy Memories there and it looked like You did a Great job restoring everything-too bad we won't be back.If You have a set schedule-stick to it! Even if You only have a skeleton crew!People plan their vacation around Your schedule! This is no way to run a business. To anyone planning to go there, call ahead to make sure they aren't closed on a "whim".

Today we went to visit santas land. My granddaughter loved it. It's small but great. She loved all the animated scenes. All of them were her favorites. We visited all the little areas several times. It started raining at one, thankfully, or we would of never got out of there. She had a blast. The kids also enjoyed the big train. Big slides, merry go round, and the three small carnival rides they had.

Staff was great. Friendly and happy to be there. Great place to take little ones for a few hours. The new owner has done a good job so far and has plans for more improvements.

Danielle Owen

A beautiful day outside! It's the perfect place for small children. My 4 and 5 year old played for hours, and loved seeing Santa! I didn't mind paying the reasonable prices, and everyone was so friendly and patient with my children. If there was ever a local business to support , this is it! I wish I had known about this place sooner.

Adrian Dix

We had a wonderful time, they are just starting to get back to up and going. The employees.

Pleasant new paint job by local artist Will Parmelee, cute ducks and fun rides for the kids. The new Santa's land is definitely worth checking out and bringing the kids.

My favorite place in the world! Has rides (carousel, train, potato sack slide, etc.). Great Christmas theme. Have been going since I was 2. The potato sack slide (its long and for all ages) is my favorite.

We are so happy this place has new owners. Opened November, 2017. Santa's land is back! Support these small mom and pop places. This is what Christmas is like through the eyes of children at Christmas!

I brought my 2 year old grandaughter here for a visit on a Saturday. She was so excited to get to see Santa. How disappointing it was that Santa wasnt there. If you are open only Froday, Saturday andd Sunday, what is the excuse that Santa would not be there on those days? I am hopeful with new owners that things will be improving but even small things make a difference; for instance, in the school house there was mouse poop all over one of the counters that the kids were to draw on, thats a health hazard. Start with cleaning up the little things and then work on the big ones. There is so much potential for that place, I really hope they put the time and effort into improving it. The guys who were running the rides and the guy running the train were very personable. I will bring my grandaughter back at some point, I do hope Santa is there to greet her when I do.

Solid Connection

In serious need of a major overhaul. Pretty disappointed after paying for 4 adults and 3 kids. Left after 10 minutes. And saw everything

What a beautiful CHRISTMAS adventure! We had an awesome time! All the staff were super nice and the park was really clean. Some things need updating, but they are working feverishly on just that! It is amazing to see that vision coming to life right before your eyes! I have a five year old and she still can't stop talking about it! Great job guys!

Josh Stockwell

Great to see it up and running again. Can't wait till they get animals again. My kids already want to go back. Hours on the website are not correct. Best to call.

Amanda Marino

We went with a group of six and everyone had a great time. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There were no waits for any of the rides so the kids were able to go on as much as they wanted. Everything was also very reasonably priced. Overall it was a great experience and we can't wait to go back!

GRAND RE-OPENING OF SANTA'S LAND NOV 25, 2017 With new attractions including a Carousel from Coney Island and displays with moving animatronic figures.

Loved it. Simple fun for young kids. It's not Disney Land, but it's perfect for little ones!

Endless Treasures

What a great time we had. The price is very Reasonable!!! $12.95 per person gets the kiddos on all the rides Santa was walking through the yard through out the day. This is a must visit for all ages.

Danielle Jackson

I think during its hay day this place was great. I understand that it was purchased last year and is under going renovations but it needs a lot of love. We went in November and you would think there would be activities and things to do. However the place was a ghost town. It took 2 hours to get there and we walked through in an hour. Maybe its better during the summer because there were pens for animals and such but when we went it was kinda depressing. I hope it changes. Plus the kids didn't get to interact with santa or take any pictures with him because he was running the merry go round.

I visited Santa’s Land this past weekend with my shy three year old grandchild. These folks are making a great effort to provide a low key , fun place for families to bring their children. Especially nice for young children. The staff are great and a wonderful very sweet Santa who is great with the kids. While it is still a work in progress, they have come a long way in putting this place back on the map again.I feel it is an especially nice place for grandparents to bring their young grandkids, low - tech!!

I remember going when I was a kid and I found out on Christmas Eve that my dad went for the first time a couple of years after the park originally opened back in the late '50s. When my niece was born I was disappointed to learn that Santa's land had closed down as it was something everyone, myself, her maternal grandparents, her aunt, and her mother, wanted to take her to. Then this year as her folks were planning on coming out for Christmas we learned that the park had been reopened under new ownership. Plans that had been made for a Christmas event in NH on the 23rd had fallen though due to the weather and we hoped Santa's Land would still be open on Christmas Eve. Thankfully it was. The broad smile on that little two year old face just made the trip worth it to begin with, but the fact that Santa took time to play with her was such a delight. She had seen Santa before they came out so no one was all too worried about her maybe not getting to see Santa this year, but her getting to spend a little time with him on Christmas Eve just was a special thing to me at least. What was there to do on Christmas Eve may have been a little limited due to the weather on the 23rd. The merry-go-round, the iceberg slide, and the train were about the only rides I saw open. Other rides such as a larger slide than the iceberg slide seem more seasonal, or more likely to be closed down due to snow and ice on the ground. Santa's house, the school house, the outdoor church, the model of the little engine that could, the train station, and an igloo were all open for folks to either go through or look into. Both the sweets shop and the snack stand were open, though we really didn't try either. Aside from my niece getting to see Santa the two biggest attractions for me were seeing the anamatronic display in Santa's house and the train ride. The train ride may be one of the few rides open to adults, though judging from comments made by some of the adults around me it may be enough to make one feel a little younger. For my niece the merry-go-round was probably her favorite part as she had to ride it a couple of times before she was willing to leave it. They may be having a few growing pains having just reopened. But the current owner appears to be trying to bring it back to what it once was, a place where folks can go and b able to enjoy a little bit of Christmastime. I hope they remain open and my niece not only can visit them a number of times more in the years to come but that she is able to come back with her own son or daughter and share with them what she got to experience.

Even though if was so cold, it was a very good place to spend the day. Is basically a village with lots of Xmas scenarios, including a real Merry go round and Santa.

When I was growing up in the Boston area my parents used to take my brothers and sister to Santa’s Land. It was a tradition growing up and now that I have a son, I can continue that tradition and create more lifetime memories. The park is an excellent value and has totally exceeded my expectations in keeping its core values of enchantment, fun and providing the ultimate Christmas experience. The train, rides and grounds make you feel like your in a Christmas Wonderland no matter what time of the year you visit. The staff is wonderful and my family will be coming back several times a year! Thank you Santa’s Land for creating a place where I can create memories to last a lifetime with my family!

The worth place to go,there is absolutely nothing to do.no even Christmas light at Santa land?weird but true!!!!

Nancy Moffett

Took my 6 year old granddaughter on opening day. Honestly, I should have waited till all the kinks were worked out. I felt for $12.95, the experience could have been better. Train was broke, couldn't ride, Santa Claus was walking around the whole time we were there, should have had a building where children could sit and talk to him so pictures could be taken. I felt it was NOT worth the money to just see buildings. Drove almost 2 hours for a very disappointing experience. They should have only charged $6.00 till everything was up to par. Will not recommend!!!

A magical place for all ages! We went here in 1989 when our kids were young! Now they have kids of there own! How time flies! Take your loved ones here as they will forever remember!

Jaclyn Belli

I grew up coming here as a kid with my whole family but it had been about 25 years since I had been back! I've been twice now since they reopened and plan to go again this coming holiday season with my son! I had wonderful memories visiting as a kid but honestly it's even better now than I had remembered it! The owner has done a beautiful job restoring everything and you can tell how much heart and dedication has gone into it! The staff are very friendly and seem very happy to be there. I highly recommend visiting whether you have kids or are nostalgic like me and just haven't been back in a while!

Julie Colegrove

We visited last year and our grandson has been asking to go back again. We returned this weekend and we had a magical time. Where in the world can you ride the giant slide with Santa next to you. Not just one time, but over and over again. Santa even held hands with the children to walk up the hill. He was amazing!!!! We played mini-golf and rode the train through the tunnel in the forest. Owen rode the rides and had a blast! If you don't visit places like this, they won't stay open. It's perfect for little ones!!

An oasis of family joy and quiet in the world of noise - while best for younger families, it's a profound experience for every age!

Darlene May

It was a clean little place but not what remembered it when I took my kids there. I thought it was a sad little place. Needs some life put back in it. My granddaughter said she loved it but I wont make that kind of ride again to go there. And the train engineer asked in front of her and another little girl Why God made children so cute. His answer was so we don't kill them. Rather travel a little further and go to Santas Village

jackie smith

We went to this cute park this past Sat. and my three children loved it! If you are expecting a large crowded amusement park, this is not for you. This is a place to spend a relaxing time with family. The staff was very nice, patient with the kids and we loved it. It was clean and friendly, we will be telling our friends and will be coming back around Christmas.

Chris Eno

Michael McGuire

It was closed but looked like a fun place so I will go back later

Ruby Thankyou

I don't often write reviews, but I felt this small and friendly amusement park should get 5 stars for making the effort after being closed. The new management is really tops and the place looks great. A for effort, keep up the good work. Keep family owned parks alive!

Jennifer Sprague

The new owners have done a great job at beginning the restoration this lagacy. My 4 year old and 1 year old loved it! Not too overwhelming and totally magical. The ride attendants were SO friendly!

Christine Simonds

We had fun but it still needs work and more things to do. We will always go back though. We went as kids and I brought my children and now my grandchildren.

April Gilbert

Not worth the price unless they bring in new animals and fix the rest of the park. They opened before they were really ready.

Eric Nelson

It has been decades since l'd been to Santa's Land. Really didn't know what to expect. It was a good experience. Was clean, staff was pleasant, food was good and reasonably priced. Santa really was jolly. And the grandson loved it.

Santa's Land is the perfect place to take a toddler! We took our two and a half year old son this past weekend and he loved it! Everyone was incredibly friendly, there was plenty to keep him occupied, and it was the perfect sized park to keep a toddler entertained for 2-3 hours. The train ride through the park was great, he got to feed deer at the petting zoo, and the rides were perfect for his age, especially the carousel and boat ride. Admission to the park is a little high, but he had a great time and I would definitely recommend taking a child this age to Santa's Land!

I had a excellent time perfect place for little kids.my two year old nephew love it

NEW OWNERSHIP Brought me an my son place had wonderful changes including new rides and animation. Prices were affordable unlike a lot of amusement parks . Santa was there and was overall a great experience. Will be back in the fall or winter

Love the place the new people are great

PEP GANG GANG GANG

There is severe animal abuse the deer have been taken by state police apparently the owner and caretaker brought a pittbull in to the area where the deer are held and allowed a pittbull to tear apart a baby deer so this is not a place anyone should take there children or support in our community

Peggy Mcintosh

The attendantswere attentive and my kids enjoyed the attractions even though they were too old for many of them. They thought the huge slide was amazing. It is truly a place for the young at heart and those who truly believe ..... in Santa Claus that is!

This place is an icon in my childhood. I fell in love with it when i was around 10. Im 50 now and i want to return again. Perhaps find myself as a little girl again roaming the park happy☺

I was so happy Santa's Land has opened back up. I used to go here as a kid. Though there's not as much going on as before, I thought it was absolutlely perfect. My two kids and I (4 and 7) had a total blast. We spent about four hours there. It hard to say our favorite part. Santa and the staff were very friendly, and they've done a wonderful job reviving this treasured park. Can't wait until our next visit!
