The drive was great with amazing views, good road, and proper signage. The visitor center up the road has a nice history regarding the monastery that was established by a French mission. And it talks about the vintage car races that happen on skyline drive. You can drive up here and take a short hike to lookout rock.

Beautiful place to see fall colors. Breathtaking views. We enjoyed our visit here. Drove up to the summit up on the hill. Very peaceful and claming experience. We have one thing to say though. There are no instructions for new drivers about how to drive on the skyline drive. I think they should mention that in the toll house. Just for the information people should drive on the low gear while driving down. Or else, you will burn your break pads off. That's what happened with us. It will take all the fun away when you see smoke coming out your car.

Beautiful scenic drive...make sure you have enough time to spend here. Do not buy ticket to go up this drive towards the closing time. Need time to enjoy nature.

Happy to live so close to such an awesome attraction. Well managed great views to be had if you don't feel like hiking (which I would recommend first, but the auto road is worth your time)

Gorgeous views! A little too religious for my taste (nothing pushy, just everywhere), that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. If you have the time though, you should check it out. It's a nice little hike out to Lookout Rock if you have extra time.

Expansive 360 degree views to mountains in multiple states. $20 per car then another $5 per person ($40 for a car of 4). Be prepared to tap the brakes and smell brake dust while descending.

Beautiful place to take pictures with your family, as it is the highest point, but there are many other beautiful views and waterfalls that can be reached by hiking trails. It was pretty to see at first, but I didn't spend much time there because it got boring quickly.

While the drive itself is scenic, the cost of entering this private area is extremely prohibitive. There are enough free hikes in the area with comparable views.

What a beautiful hidden gem in Vermont!! Great customer service as well. I enter the shop to get the tickets and the lady there warned me that it's very foggy at the summit and even showed me the live cam feed. It was clear that I was not going to view anything from there but I still drove up. I am so glad I did. I didn't go all the way up but parked right before you reach the summit. There is a parking lot there. It was so peaceful. Amazing! Rain or shine, it's worth it. Just be careful driving when the roads are slippery.

Beautiful drive up. When I went, there were quite a few Stratocumulus clouds, so a lot of views were covered in clouds. But great anyway. Be sure your brakes are in good condition before going up though!

The ride to the top seemed really long and the road was rough at times (take care motorcyclists!) but the views along the way and especially at the top are well worth the trip! Lots of educational materials are available once you reach the summit with maps indicating the names of the mountains visible from many miles away.

Great experience driving up and using the trail from the top. There are some amazing vantage points between the hills which provide a great photo opportunity. The trail was beautiful and Rocky with great views of autumn.

We loved the drive. It was on the more pricey side; however, we probably spent about 2.5 hours on the drive and getting out and overlooking the mountains. Very beautiful! I developed a deeper appreciation for the fall season. We went in October and the weather was perfect. Only complaint were the other drivers, some of whom were braking on the whole way down. That was frustrating!

Very kind personal an the entrance and a nice way up. But, when you have driven in/ visited the Alps or other high mountains before, it's not the $$ worth. At least, my expectations where a lot higher as I readed the discriptions before.

The views are worth it though the entry fee is steep. After driving to the top of Mt. Equinox you encounter a modern building where you can take in the sights from or you can roam around the property outside. There is a trail or two at the top which offer the same beauty and less people. Beware of the black flies that swarm you, our family had a few bites and they are not fun.

Pretty cool place. Unfortunately the day we went there was a cloud at the top so we couldn't fully reach. Didn't take a picture at the time but it got to the point where I couldn't see past my good. Definitely an experience. Great place to go to in the fall though because of the color change. We went early October and still saw the change. Will go back again but hopefully no cloud this time. The entrance is a small house with a bathroom and the only one along the whole road but I might be wrong on that.

I was surprised to find that this "drive" is only accessible through a private toll road and it costs $20/car $5/person. I wasn't sure but that seems to mean a car with 4 passengers would pay $40??? To drive a little way on a road? We went next door to the gift shop and then left. We found plenty of free roads to drive on.

Very cool experience. It was $20 for the car plus driver and $5 per passenger. For $25, it was well worth it. We visited on 10/13/18 and the foliage was beautiful. What was even cooler was the snow up top. It's a steep drive up with a couple hair pin turns. Up at the summit there was a little visitors center. It's basically a building with bathrooms and a small prayer room. Beautiful views from the top and on the little scenic areas along the way. When you go back down, stay in low hear and try not to use your break too much. The decline can be very rough on your brakes. It's almost worth it to drive all the way up at first and then make all the stops on the way down. Just like the signs will say, give your brakes a break. I would definitely do it again in the warmer months.

This is a nice 5 mile drive up Equinox Mountain to the St. Bruno Scenic Viewing Center. Pull into the parking lot at the entrance to pay and get some info about the road and Viewing Center at the top. It is an easy ride with plenty of turn outs to stop, take in the view, and let the car cool down a little. We went up in early October, the views were great up to about half way, then the clouds obstructed all views, but it was still worth the drive. (The people in the Toll House did warn us that we would see anything as we got closer to the top, but we wanted to go up anyway.)
