It took us over 2 hours round trip to see the falls and back. But we also stopped to take pictures. The terrain is rocky in several areas and with the recent rain a couple spots were tricky to cross for a newbie hiker. Otherwise this is an easy hike that is well marked and path easy to follow. The falls are worth it. Beautiful area.

It is a 4 hour hike uo the mountain. The terrain is rocky for atleast half the trip. Nice beautiful falls. It was gorgepus during fall season with breath taking vibrant colors. The trail is nicwly marked. Plan properly as there are no rest rooms or place to buy a drink or snack. The neareat town Manchester is beautiful small town with few eateries.

This is a challenging hike. 2.3 miles in, mostly uphill, rocky path, path narrows on hill edge as you get closer to falls. Not recommended for children. Did I mention this is challenging!

The falls were gorgeous and the scenery during the hike was nice. It's a moderately difficult hike with under 1k ft elevation gain. Took about 2.5 hours total with spending time at the falls as well.

Pretty easy hike that is kid friendly. The falls are really pretty, but don't go when it is hot and dried out. Be careful of slippery rocksx but besides that, it is not hard. Also great place to take pictures.

The walk itself was relatively and not too difficult. Can be done by beginner hikers and dogs. The waterfalls are hidden away and amazing to take in. Beautiful spot to hike!

Nice falls, especially in the winter with the ice on both sides of the flowing water. 5 miles round trip from the trailhead parking lot. 800' of elevation change. 4 hours round trip with a half hour at the falls. The trail is well marked - the problem is finding the trailhead parking lot!

It's a pretty hefty hick but the falls are nice. Pick up a walking stick as the path is pretty uneven.

Very beautiful hike up to the even more magnificent falls. If you are scared of maneuvering over some rocks a bit, you might not get the best view of the falls, but the trip itself can still be very nice. I had a lot of fun seeing the falls in particular.

Beautiful falls. Strong flow 10/2018. Fairly difficult walk down to the falls. Hand rails are not available the whole way. There's a stream on the path part of the way. Steady stream of people coming and going, so lingering to enjoy the scenery may be difficult....

Amazing waterfall. The hike is a hike. Might as well be uphill both ways in the snow like your grandparents would say. My feet hurt for days after but it was totally worth it.

Its a pretty nice hike upto the falls. The view is simply superb. We went during the fall season so there wasn't too much water. Total of 4.6 miles to and fro and takes about 3 to 4 hours depending on pace you walk. We stopped several times to take pictures.

Nette Wanderung durch die Green Mountains. Der Weg ist abwechslungsreich, man muss ein wenig klettern und über kleine Bäche rüberkommen. Hat uns gut gefallen. Wir haben ca 2 1/2 Stunden gebraucht. Am Ziel wird man mit einer Aussicht auf einen schönen Wasserfall belohnt.

You can barely see the falls, cannot swim (it would be a good reward for the 1,5-hour-long trail) or even touch the vapor of water drops coming down from the highest rocks! So you enjoy hiking “just because”, this trail is for you. It’s suitable for an average-to-experienced hiker, so if you’re a beginner, you won’t faint before getting to the falls, hahaha, but it’s very tiring. Mostly covered by the trees, you will bump into some small water streams with cold, refreshing water, but I don’t think the water fall is worth the effort to get there. The trail end fits 3-4 people, no more than that. I took a couple of good pictures, but as I said: it’s not worth the hike, except if you looove hiking just for the sake of hiking!! Try Quechee Gorge trail, it is immensely more memorable!!

Moderate hike , 8-12% grade roughly. Very rocky paths, typical mountain hike. Took 3 of us including child 4 hours to do. Very worth the trip to see the falls. The best I've seen!

Moderate hike for families. We were 6 in our party, 2 seniors and 2 kids. The over all hike took us 5.5 hours. It was worth it but it wasn't easy. When I read about the hike people estimated it to the falls and back in 3 hours. A birthday slippery after the rain. A walking stick is a great aid for this trail.

Super hike, but BE PREPARED, particularly if you are not an avid hiker. The trail is primarily uphill and increasingly steep, narrow and rough toward the top. While only 2 miles each way, don't anticipate a steady 20 minutes per mile pace up and back. Also suggest bringing walking sticks, particularly to help with a trip down if you're not used to navigating loose rocks down at least moderately steep terrain. Fall can be a bit trickier as well due to leaves covering the rocks and roots.

A beautiful falls at the end and there's plenty of places to sit to enjoy the falls. The entire trail is essentially covered. Went on a Friday afternoon and encountered like 4 other groups the entire time. We spent about 2.5 hours there (probably faster than average hikers)

Love this hike!! About 2.25 miles from the parking lot to the falls. 975 ft elevation gain (approximately). Some rocky spots and others with exposed tree roots. Wear your sturdy hiking shoes, bring water and a snack to eat by the falls. And, as always, Leave No Trace!!

This is a long hike up to the summit (about 3.4km) and it definitely climbs all the way. That said the trail is very clearly marked and the hike definitely has a reward at the top. The falls are a nice sight. Would recommend taking some water with you. Watch out for the fairly limited parking at the trail head.

Good 2.5 hour hike to a waterfall. Gorgeous trail, well traveled, even during the week. Trail blazes were easy to find. My GPS did find that the trail was a little longer than the signage suggested. Would love to go back.
