Great workout, but walked around in circles for 2 hours and never found the end... make sure to look at the aerial map before you start... or take the Scenic Route! There are emergency exits if you need them. NOT stroller friendly, although there were plenty of them! Wear good footwear and bring water! Pretty location, nice friendly work staff, not too helpful with tips on how to solve it!
Cool, it's true, the maze is very long
Fun place, go at your own place. Lots of things for children. Did the scenic maze, but want to mow do the longer one or night one. Must see!!
Great fun! We go every year
Got to do my first corn maze and had fun. Alittle tricky later on but you do learn more as you go.
It took 3 years to complete the maze! Great place overall!
Owner is not so pleasant
Cool place to visit, nice folks, great family experience.
So much fun. Didnt even get to do the big maze and still a blast. Kids loved it. Lots of things to do for the little guys. Will be back
Great fun
So awesome words can't describe it! Our daughter chose to go here for her birthday and we weren't dissapointed. Took several hours to solve the maze and several hours to see the rest. We all had a blast!
A favorite every year
Thank you for all you do to make this such a great event. We will be back! Loved it.
Was fun!! got a little frustrating at times but with a little help from the staff we were about to make it through in about 2 hours
Fun adventure, nice staff...be prepared to spend a good day here!
Dead North was an amazing time by all in our group. Definitely recommend to those who enjoy a haunted adventure !!
26 acres! The owners are AWESOME! HAD A GREAT TIME! Take water and snacks, it's a HUGE maze
So much fun. Staff are friendly, fun and can even be funny. Always a great time.
I spotted this on Google Earth. I look forward to visiting here!
A lot of fun and well done
Lots of fun
Great family adventure
Awesome, really hard, great staff
Challenge, Nice Pinic Area, Bear Cage, Beautiful Views, Dirt Roads, Everybody Friendly, Walk 5 Miles, Most Folks Do the Scenic Trail, Haunted Forest, Barn Yard Golf, Petting Goats, Great Family Fun
Corn maze was a fun family event that for filled all the needs we enjoy doing
Really hard but fun. Great staff. Maze changes each season.
Great workout and the kids will love it 2!!
Well done!
The Great Vermont Corn Maze gave a very entertaining time as well as a work out. The staff were extremely helpful in giving advice to navigate you in the right direction of the victory bell, but not so much to give away the thrill and challenge of finding it yourself. The drinks and snack were very well priced at only a dollar or two for the majority of what they offered for the long journey ahead. BRING LOTS OF WATER AND A SNACK.
Too expensive but fun. Go once but too much money to go again.
Absolutely fantastic and challenging maze! When they say come early to have plenty of time to finish, they are not kidding! This maze will take you half a day to solve if you don't get hints. Much, much bigger than any other corn maze you've been to. To put things in perspective, the Davis Mega Maze in MA takes up 6 acres; this maze takes up 20! Also, it is located in a breathtakingly beautiful part of Vermont with views of the White Mountains in New Hampshire.
Bring water.
It was a huge maze and definitely a challenge. So much fun! Bring layers and water in case you get lost!
Beautiful views, and challenging hills to climb.
Challenging and fun. Great hosts. Invigorating. We spent 3 hours here.
Dead north is amazing! The corn maze is intense. Bring snacks and water.
So rewarding
My family visited and found the maze very challenging, which we enjoyed. It was a great family outing.
Great maze
A great maze that's actually challenging! Also the goats you get to play with are great
First time at Dead North!! Awesome! Can't wait to do it again
The maze completely beat us this year but it was hands down the best corn maze around. We will certainly be back to win back our pride.
So much fun! We attempt every year with the family and have yet to solve it. A great outdoor activity in the summer/fall. We can't wait to try again next season!
Very difficult maze this year! The gentleman running the place were very helpful and was able to find us and give us hints when we finally wanted them. It was a great experience and I look forward to going back next year!
Fun for all ages
Our youth group had such a wonderful time!!! We brought 20 teens and adults and we had a blast!!! Bring your water bottle. It is not an easy maze.
Frustrating but fun!
This is definitely a great activity in a scenic area (especially if you’re lucky to visit on a mild autumn day). It’ll take quite some time to complete, so those with children may want to reconsider this depending on your respective children’s tolerance levels. The staff members are friendly and helpful. (BTW: A relatively short span of the road(s) leading to the maze is quite rough & bumpy so please drive slowly & carefully.)
Awesome maze, I was pleasantly surprised at how challenging it was! We brought lunch, walked over 7 miles and spent 2-3 hours in here. Worth a drive!
I've done corn mazes before but never anything like this. It is really hard but a ton of fun. It took us 3 hours to complete it so pack a lunch and plenty to drink.
Love it.. love it...love it. And yes, was difficult
I would give them 10 stars if I could. An experience we'll keep coming back for every year. My son and I love coming here and it's one of our favorite activities to do. Definitely something we look forward to all year. Everyone here is so friendly and we always end up meeting all kinds of great people, working together to solve the maze. Can't wait for next year!
It was fun. I suggest getting there first thing just in case you decide to do the whole maze!
You need to go here! Not only was the corn maze amazing, but the things to do afterwards like ice cream sandwiches and a barn with round hay bales to climb and jump on, an underground barn tunnel, petting zoo, and so much more were above and beyond! We're planning to go back again to try the second maze (which is within the first maze) to see if we can do that, too! We finished the first maze in 2.5 hours with three 3rd graders and a toddler in a stroller (don't recommend strollers, get a backpack that carries little ones), and everyone had a great time. 10/10 highly recommend.
24 acres, on a hill with stairs and bridges, takes about 2 hours to go through. Admission is $15. Open 7 days / week. Closes early each day (last admission is at 2pm) and closes early in the season (mid-October).
We've been going to the maze for 17 years - always a good time.
The best corn maze of all time. 24 acres of awesome.
Very good maze there is plenty of things to do. But plan on at 2 to 3 hours walking. Come prepared with hiking gear.
My husband and I try to be annual visitors here and had even more fun this year when we brought our 2 and 9 year old kids for the first time. An all round beautiful, perfect day of fun in the sun. So much to do! We hope to make this an annual tradition in our family.
This was one of the best mazes that we have done. Very well thought out. The price was not very much at all. Took us a little bit to get to the end being are first time here. Don’t give up if you are having a hard time with the maze. The staff is very help full and friendly if you need a little extra help. I will be returning again.
This is the one thing that we always plan to do every year as a family. It never disappoints. Plan on spending the whole day and come prepared with hiking gear and a sense of humor!
It was amazing the staff did such a great job my party had the best time ever
Cute place. Great time for kids. My son had a great time in the barn.
Absolutely fantastic! So much larger and more challenging than any maze I've ever done! Be prepared its not as easy as you think it will be!
Hadn't been here since I was a kid. Went this fall with my family and it's gotten bigger and better. Fun way to spend a day in the sun.
It was a lot of fun, bring water, but don't drink it quickly...you will be in there for awhile and there are no bathrooms in the maze...they should rethink this. If you get annoyed to the point of mental breakdown or violence when going in circles then this isn't for you, but don't worry, if you are still lost when closing time comes around you will be gently coaxed in the right direction. Wear sunscreen unless you want to burn and prepare for an adventure!
Great people, just be ready to get stuck inside!
This is in regards to Dead North - This year was absolutely amazing. Having the extra chainsaw person in the middle of the corn field scared all of us. I am so coming back next year... except I will leave my daughter at home who literally wet her pants she was so scared. It was a really fun night for our family.
Amazing job every year. Be ready to walk
There's an unguided maze if you're adventurous, but with small children I'd recommend the scenic guided maze. You're in the real maze, but are given written clues to help you in your way. Takes 40 minutes or so for the scenic route. Lots of fun stuff for kids when you're done, mini houses, a spaceship, real goats, underground tunnels, etc.
This is truly a corn maze like no other. I didn't even know my husband liked corn mazes until we found this one. It is seriously easy to get lost in and full of fun surprises. I live in South Carolina and we're already planning on coming back and bringing my parents with us. Just be warned you will be in there for a while and bring lots of water, and probably snacks if you have little ones.
AMAZING corn maze. Perfect landscape and the maze is very well kept. We have been coming for several years. Just a wonderful day spent with family and friends!!
Spectacular views and most gracious hosts❤️ Can’t wait for next year’s maze!
2018 was fun. Lots of laughs ( mostly at my wife screaming her head off ). They got me a few times too. Good fun and snacks afterwards as well. I Liked the creativity with the different themes; fun house , slaughter house , the soldiers escorting you from the zombies and of course the corn field. Great job!
So much fun, quite the challenge but an adventure worth taking!
Bigger than you think
Always love going to the Great Vermont Corn Maze. I always have so much fun and sleep well that night!
I love this maze, even when I can't solve it!
This place is amazing. The amount of creativity put into the Dead North haunted cornfield was incredible - they take fun seriously here!
Awesome!
Very challenging and very fun. Be prepared to walk for 3hrs. Don't be ashamed to ask for hints from the folks who work their
Awsome place for adventure.
It's a challenge so set aside a few hours to get through! Worth the trip.
One of the most frustrating yet fun experiences you can have!
Really hard this year (2017)! Huge and tricky, worth the admission for sure!
The maze is really tough, it proved to be a bit to much to bring a small child through. Definitely good for older children and adults who like mazes. There are also plenty of other activities available for younger kids.
It really does take 2 hours. Bring water. It's fun. There are a lot of awesome games after the maze... Especially awesome for children, but fun for adults, too
Amazing maze and staff super friendly and wow be prepared for a hike. Most challenging corn maze I have ever been in. 5 stars!!
Back year after year. Great fun!
A lot of fun you have to like to walk and have to like to use your brain it took about 3 hours to do the maze without cheating to find our way out would highly recommend doing it and I will do it again was $15 a person not sure about children and family packages look online
Really fun maze. We made it in 2 hours (2 mid 20s) with help from the staff. There are a few slopes to walk up and down (even more if you get the wrong way) do it is quite sporty. I recommand!
We go here every year and it's great! New, challenging, inspired, corn maze every year, plus all the other side attractions that our kids love too! Takes hours and hours to get through. I recommend this maze to everyone, is easily worth the (beautiful) drive out there. Plan as if you are going for a long hike, and get there early! We are always pressed for time trying to finish before they close. If you go with more than 3 or 4 people consider splitting into groups so everyone gets to make choices in the maze rather than just following the fastest walker. Seriously. This place is fantastic!
Best corn maze I've visited. legit 2.5hrs to get through it. They have an emergency exit path, and they even have an easier option that was great for the kids! Well done!
wow! a true hidden gem tucked away on a back road. This was super fun and family oriented, the goats were a fun surprise as well and.the kids seemed to really enjoy the play area.
Great for kids. We didn't complete the maze but we had a blast.
Went to the Dead North event and it was awesome. Very scary
This corn maze is so neat. It is perfect for younger kids, because of the different paths you can follow through the maze. Add to that a mini village and a barn of tunnels and hay bales to jump on! A great day out.
This maze is the REAL DEAL
Unbelievable the job these people do!!
Super cool! We go every year it’s a tradition!
Had such a blast today with Joel Cockburn and all the kids!
Its a really good challenge. It's a really great exercise
Great designs, not too hard nor too easy. Friendly staff available to give hints of requested. Also, goats.
It was awesome!!!! Really great place!!!!
Go every year Absolutely amazing!
Great corn maze. By far the biggest Ive been to. Well kept. A little expensive.
A great place so fun if you are ready to laugh at your self
Beautiful location and an absolutely huge maze. Bring plenty of water, it's pretty hilly and after three times (at least) up and down the hill, you'll go through a ton of water. We used 2 liters for three of us on a 78 degree day.
Incredible place. Very nice, competent, hard working staff. My children loved it. Good for all ages. We did the scenic route. Very cheap food available, 1 dollar for ice cream cone
Had the most fun here! Great place for a family fun day!
Crazy maze. Cute goats
It was a great maze this year. Very hard. We love what you do and your creativity on the 24 acre piece of property. We will be back!
Love this place been going every year since 2013
This is my second corn maze and it was a-maze-ing. We, 4 adults (ages 25-55), took about 3 hours and 4 miles of walking effort and luck along with some deduction to complete the maze. Go back again in the future? Yes! If you go, wear shoes that are comfy for uneven ground. Bring liquid. I wore a hydration pack and it was needed. Hit the toilets before starting as there are no toilets in the maze. Snacks are nice too. As fun as the maze is, it is not age-appropriate for everyone. After a while of walking through corn stalks, the youngest get tired of walking and many others get bored. The website hints speak volumes! Enjoy!
Fun bring lots of water and allow plenty of time. This place is huge.
Delightfully challenging. Come prepared to walk for 2+ hours through the maze. The staff stationed inside the maze were friendly and ready with suggestions when we found ourselves making the same circle over and over. When we made it to the end and rang the Bell of Success, we treated ourselves to an ice cream sandwich from the farm stand and visited with the goats onsite.
Always fun, always a challenge, run by a great family in a great setting...we've been going every year and even at 16, 20 and 23 our kids still ask to go back.
Great fun for all ages...
This maze is huge and challenging. It will take you hours to finish. There is also a shorter scenic maze for people who may not enjoy the longer more intense maze. Refreshments pop corn and ice cream are reasonably priced and plentiful. For the younger ones there is also a massive play area with plenty of things to do while the rest of your group is lost in the corn.
Takes a lot of endurance and thought but we had fun solving the maze. It was a little too much for our five year old at times.
Scary as hell
What a fun and challenging experience!!!! We spent three and a half hours in the maze!!! It's beautiful and fascinating at the same time.
Went to the haunted corn maze and it was great. It's incredibly well done and extremely elaborate. It's definitely a long drive from Burlington area but very worth it. We arrived right around the opening hours on the last night and there was a bit of a wait after you get bused down to the start of it. They had a magician and snacks available for purchase while you're waiting which was good. The only downside to this was that you're in an almost entirely enclosed building while waiting in line, and the snack shack was constantly burning something so it was very hard to breath at times due to the smoke. I'd recommend ventilating it more.
Great family time get lost in the maze
Hours of fun for all age levels!
Outstanding. What a great time.
Always a great place, great people, family owned and run. Tons of things for the kids after the maze. The animals are super sweet and love the attention. I'd go ever day if I could! We look forward to it every year!
Place is alot of fun. Kids play area I'd fantastic.
Prepaid for 8:00p tickets, got there at 8:00p, waited in line 2 hours, couldn't stay any later as i had to work in the morning, left without seeing anything haunted or any corn maze, but still spent $60 and waited 2 hours (and drive 3.5 hours round trip!). Very frustrating
Fantastic maze and and farmstand!
Lots of fun and very challenging.
So much fun! We will be back each year.
So much fun
Great place for the whole family!!
A fun, spoopy Halloween time in northern Vermont! I loved the spoopy farm, and look forward to Dead North next year!
Cool place. Not good for handicaped. Very few people in the maze and no way to get help in an emergency. Easy to get lost for a longtime with emergency exits far and few. I was personally stuck in the maze for way longer than I felt comfortable. I came across many unhappy family's and couples who were frustrated that they couldn't get out. Met a few family's with small childern who had quickly run out of water and couldn't find a way out. I won't go again. Im not saying its not cool and that you shouldn't go just that you better be over prepared to be lost for hours.
Awesome! Fun for everyone!
3.5 miles, 2 and 1/2 hours later, we took the escape route. Lots of tiring fun.
Very exciting and challenging. My wife and I love this maze every year! Don't bring your children, please.
We love this family fun place!! We keep going back every year.
Went to DeadNorth the haunted version and it was awesome. My third year and it never disappoints. Be prepared to wait in line but worth it.
Challenging and alot of fun to see what you did at the end!
Had a great time! Staff was friendly and helpful, plenty of parking, just don’t be afraid of driving on town roads that aren’t paved. We spent 3 hours there and gave up on solving the big maze. Perhaps an hour more would have done it. Got plenty of walking in and exercised the brain too!
So much fun! Quite the challenge for my teens. Did as a family and they worked together to solve it in an hour!
2019 is a tough maze but lots of fun!
