Our new favorite NE spot. Beautiful, clear lake. Great for kayaking and swimming. There is a bit of walk from parking lot to the lake, but not something to keep you away. Really nice.

A weird place but the camping sites were good and lots of shade. Probably more of a local day use area than an extended stay. Great place to pitch the tent and rest for a day of passing thru the area.

Beautiful little lake. A few trails running along the lake and into the woods. When we went the paths were extremely icy and treacherous. It was amazing. Throw your boot spikes on for a fun time.

I really enjoyed this place, the lake is at the bottom of the mountain and it lives up to its name- the water is emerald green, really beautiful to kayak around the little island in the middle. The water is not very high and in some places you can see the underwater vegetation with fish and little cray fish. My daughter was delighted to see all that from the kayak. There are facilities on site, right next to the beach/sitting area and it's clean. The campground is pretty awesome with big sites and very inexpensive,each one has a picnic table and a fire pit with grill. Clean restrooms (they clean every day,twice a day). It's a really nice place

I loved this place. The view was beautiful, the water was clean and the bathroom was close. The concession stand only has snacks and drinks so make sure you eat. Already planned another trip!

This camp ground would be my number one state parks to go to. It is very clean, sites are roomy, good fire pits and just a beautiful place to camp. It's also close to places I like visiting. The only problem I had is they do not want you to transport fire wood so your able to buy it there. the wood you buy is wet cedar wood. It does a lot of sparking, lots of smoke then sooner or latter it will burn. the price is not bad,$5 for a arm full, would be a good deal if it was seasoned. Other then that I look forward to going back and relaxing.

First Time camping here. It is a beautiful park and quiet. I like that I can hear the train going by. I would definitely come and camp here again with friends.The beach area was Beautiful and the water was very clean. The road needs to be repaired a little bit. If you camp here I recommend getting firewood from somewhere else other than right outside the grounds because that wood did not burn very well.

The place is beautiful. We love to be able to get away from people. The workers there are so helpful. They helped us set up our big tarp so we could have a dry area incase of rain. We will be back every year.

Along with kids we juz followed the Lake side trail.Enjoyed the picnicking at the beach.There were facilities for paddle boating , canoeing ,kayaks.Swimming is allowed too.Its a good recreation place for spending day with family doing water activities .The longest trail is 1.2 miles.There are tickets for adults-$4 and kids-$2.Restroom areas with changing rooms are located here.The lake showed the reflection of fall colours located around the lake. The scenic beauty was awesum and perfect to click few natural pictures

Quiet and serine family surroundings. They charge a small entrance fee and have canoes, bike peddle boats, stand up paddle board and kayaks that you can rent by the hour. Property is carry in carry out and they try to follow the BSA outdoor code. Staff is polite and accommodating. On site BBQ / picnic tables available. Great time.

Really love the campground. Very large with some nice sites. Biggest complaint would be the speed of the traffic through the park. Need more speed signs and bumps to slow traffic down. Had a difficult time letting my kids bike

My boyfriends family has been coming here for 40+ years. This place is such a little gem, beautiful and in the mountains! It's very peaceful and is good for families. The lake is beautiful and good for fishing, and there are plenty of things in driving distance to do!

Another great VT State Park. The lake is beautiful, great to fish and swim. The campground is also very nicely kept, clean bathrooms and showers. Ice and wood for sale like all VT state parks with campgrounds. My only caution is that its a hell of a hike to the lake area.

I would definitely visit again. Plenty of parking. Somewhat of a long walk to get to the beach area but well worth it. It's a small beach but the view is beautiful. Very clean and well kept. Water was surprisingly clean and clear.

Clean and restful spot. Real sandy beach abutting clear quiet lake. Kayaks and paddle boats for rent. Areas for low stress hiking. Efficient service and clean bathroom facilities. Kid friendly. Super accessible right off route 7. Close to food, housing, and shopping. Manchester or other small towns are easy to reach. A simple, easy to access place for picnic, swimming, hiking etc without having to overthink or overpack.
