This is a delightful museum that makes excellent use out of a building that previously housed a comparatively much grander train station than exists today. The museum is quite small, and the quality of its exhibits is unfortunately rather unpredictable. The museum also makes an effort to show work done by local artists, irregardless of their level of recognition.

We had a hosted meeting here. Really interesting space with some funky art displays. They hosted us on a Tuesday when the museum was closed to the public, so we got to walk around and check everything out in a really quiet setting. Very cool place to check out in downtown Brattleboro!

A small museum with changing exhibits. We come by on an annual visit to the area, and it's entirely different. There have been 4 or 5 exhibits each time and all good to excellent. We'll be back next year.

Brattleboro Museum in located across the street from the Co-op a good place to park. The Museum displays an eclectic mix of local and regional artists. The sculptures out front lawn are usually unrelated to the inside exhibits. As former train station , a piece of history on the East-side of the tracks, now gone, was a wooden shack with a Chome Vending Machine, 5-cents would fill a small bucket or bag of coal. It looked like a bit like an old pay phone.
