You will see the information of real people like you who used the products of Bennington Battle Monument (Tourist Attraction) in Vermont area.
Right now the business has a score of 4.6 out of 5 and this rating is based on 834 reviews.
You must have seen that it reaches an reviews average is almost the top, and it is founded on a high number of reviews, so we may say that the valuation is very accurate. If people have bothered to value when they are happy with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Tourist Attraction corresponds to the category of Monument.
This is the sixth tallist federal monument. Worth the time to stop and take the ride to the top.
Near the base is Frost year round. I challenge you to find them. The hint - is in the challenge.
This place is impressive and easy to find off VT route 9. A must-see!
Excellent attraction. Definitely worth stopping to see it.
Very cool old monolith monument. Didn't go up, wish I had. Great views around from ground. Laid in the grass around monument enjoying the sun and sky.
Very friendly staff and kid friendly!
Very interesting location
Quite tall obelisk seen for miles Quite historic.
Wow it was great piece of history that is still standing the people are knowledgeable about the area it was incredible.
Beautiful views and knowledgable staff
Cool sight, and neat history. Its 5$ a person to take an elevator to the top. Nice giftstore.
Terrific visit and a special thanks to the friendly staff. Well maintained facility.
Stunning views and helpful staff!
Very cool building, little weird to pay to go in but its cool
Nice monument, but no battlefield here
Always a beautiful place to see
A great view of the countryside.
I would have given this monument 5 stars if it hadn't been under construction we didn't get to see a portion of it but what we did see was very nice.
Very cool! Great views and wonderful group of people
For 5 dollars you can go up to the observation deck with wonderful views! Small exhibition upon entering. Great guy welcoming you and explaining a little bit about the monument when you come in. Hidden gem!
Nice place for a quick visit
Nice place take the elevator to the top great views
Closed when I got there, but beautiful site.
An historic monument erected to commemorate an historic event in the founding of the USA. The sense of history is palpable throughout. The tour guides are a wealth of knowledge. The views from the observation deck of the tower are nothing short of breathtaking. Highly recommend as a place not to miss.
Great knowledgeable elevator/guide who shared a lot of information in the ride to the top. Downside was school children who were unsupervised during their class visit there.
Beautiful views.
Freaking awesome love visiting wish I could have gone up in the elevator.
This place is so neat! Pretty reasonably priced as well! We liked being able to browse in the little gift shop they have there. The view is amazing! The employees were kind and personable. Any questions (my son had many) were answered promptly and with no aggravation. They even let us hide some kindness rocks on the grounds. Stop on by and get a good look at some history!
I didn't know this was such an important Battle in our nation's quest for independence.
One of the most unusual places I have ever visited. I mean that in a good way. This special gem is a sight to behold and taking a ride almost to the top of this historic structure really something you must do. It gives you a view from 200 feet above the ground of Vermont and the other surround states. There is a lot of history involved as well.
It was great to honor our war heroes.
Enjoyed this very much. Historically it's a wonderful place to visit but even if you aren't a history fan this is a beautiful place. Ride the elevator up the monument and check out the view!!
I went there and it it very cool! It has a great view when you are up in the moument?
Really like the monument to Col. Seth Warner.
Even though this is not the actual site of the Battle of Bennington, it is one of the nicest War memorials from the revolution. The statues are all outstanding.
Beautiful memorial
Nice place to see.
Great artillery demonstrations
Super cool history and amazing views
Very well done museum with fantastic views from the monument.
So historic 2 words
This place is a must see, from the top of the monument you can see North, South, East and West. Just beautiful with plenty of history.
Beautiful place to visit... Well taken care of. We so enjoyed our visit here. The staff working here were the most helpful and polite! Clean restrooms. Very, very nice gift shop... Excellent selection and something for everyone!
It was cool to look out and see the landscape from up so high. It was appropriately priced. It was a little scary to go up 186 feet but oh well!
It is really fun!
Would have been much more interesting in daylight. Massive obelisk on top of the hill.
An impressive obelisk that played an important role in the Revolutionary War. Go there and find out.
Was a blast going up 208ft and seeing the views of area around Battlefield
If you're in Bennington, Vermont, this is a cool - and significant - thing to go see. Right out of Colonial times, and definitely something you won't learn about unless you're from the region. Might want to keep in mind that the monument and gift shop are seasonal, only open during the warmer months.
Always a Great Stop. Beautiful views from top of Monument. Grounds are also Beautiful. Great place to get out and have a picnic. Gift Store. Parking a bit difficult. You never know, might see a Moose.
It was great to take the elevator up first time we've been able to do that cuz it's always been closed. You get a fantastic view of the countryside at some points going probably about 80 miles. It's just nice to know a little bit about the history of the area and how it relates to the American revolution. People should show a little more interest in the history of their own country.
Very beautiful monument, enjoyed the view from the top.
Really enjoyed our visit
This is a must . You have to go to the top. Beautiful views. Lots of history here.
Great view from top.
Great place to visit if you're in the Bennington area. Easy to find even without directions because of how tall it is! I was informed that this is the 6th tallest monument in the United States -- 306 feet tall and built from Sandy Hill Dolomite out of Hudson Falls, NY. Very friendly and informed staff, nice little gift shop, and just $5 to ride up the elevator to check out the 360 degree view from the 200-foot observatory. There are some exhibits displayed on the ground level of the monument as well as a guest book to sign. Purchase of a ticket grants you a discount to the nearby Bennington Museum, if you're interested in checking out more history.
It's tall and you can't miss it if you are in Bennington. It costs $5 to take the elevator to the top. It was ok. Not great.
Very clean and neatly organized. Friendly staff and the place it self is very pretty. Great view but short. Not a place to spend hours at. Its 10 min at most.
Beautiful..historical..a reminder of those who paved the way for our Freedoms today..
As high as the view is the stone columns kinda block visibility at top of monument. Elevator is really cool
It is history. Beautiful views from the top.
It's impressive !!
Lovely place.. parking is limited
Very interesting. Great place to visit on a clear day. Must be spectacular in the fall.
Very nice but a little pricey for an elevator ride
Great place. The gift shop staff were very polite and the elevator personal were very courteous. You ring the bell when you want to be brought down to the ground, so to speak. You could spend an hour just feeling the breeze and seeing the landscape from the top. There are maps on the walls that help distinguish landmarks while you are at the top. FYI the steps are closed. Also a great place to have a picnic on the grounds.
Nice history gem here on the way you can also go up to the top of tower and see 3 different states.
I've been coming here since I was a child and I'm still amazed by how magnificent this monument is. The entire neighborhood is rich in history and most definitely worth a visit. The view from the top of the monument is great of course, but make sure to also take a walk around old Bennington. The old architecture is beautiful and Robert Frost's grave is a quick walk away in the nearby cemetery.
Beautiful location and views. Monument is truly impressive, especially give it's out-of-the-way location.
We stopped by twice. An impressive monument. Both times we were there it was not open. Great history in the area.
A really cool place to visit, we got a quick tour inside the tower before it was reopened, go in the fall , colors are amazing, as with any small Vermont town, bring a lunch or snacks, most places close in Vermont early- take the scenic route to brattleboro!
Loved looking around the monument. We didn't take the elevator to the top, but learned a lot reading all the plaques.
Nice location and simple to look at but not much else.
Interesting Historic Site with good displays describing the battle in the area, and excellent views from the top of the monument, which is reached with a brief elevator ride.
The Bennington Battle Monument is beautiful. The battle of Bennington was an important battle in the American Revolution that helped lead to the victory of the colonies. An amazing structure nestled in the hills of Bennington. I definitely would recommend visiting.
Not an outrageous price to ride the elevator to the observation level. Great views, and very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Great little historic stop. The view from the tower is magnificent.
History,, alot of information ,well kept staff is great, the senary is amazing. Beautiful
Great autumn views
Great place for historians who love facts on the Revolutionary War and the Battle of Bennington
We traveled up to Bennington during the Fall to leaf peep and the views from the top of the tower did not disappoint. It costs $5 a person to ride the elevator. The elevator may get a tad cramped with larger crowds but the operator was friendly and informative. It is a small little park, but great place to enjoy a sandwich, plus you may hit up the cute little gift shop for your Vermont needs.
Very scenic and historic I would suggest to take the tour up the monument.
American History surrounded by beauty.
Such an amazing view, very nice people, easy area to get too
Touch our history and drink in unparalleled views of the beautiful mountains.
Breath taking and the boy who sells the lemonaide and cookies that was perfect
Who knew this monument is the 6th highest in the US and the tallest structure in Vermont? I didn't until coming across the Bennington Battle Monument almost by accident... You can't miss what looks like a rocket towering above the trees as you drive through Bennington. Well worth a detour for the interesting history and amazing views of three States from the top of the monument
Cool place to discover history. GO GREEN MOUNTAIN BOYS!
Driving past and it was pretty cool to see and learn a bit about history.
The view is breath taking! Is a most!
Take the elevator for $5 to the top for good views
Nice and quiet place
Great foliage in fall season
Ver well kept
Beautiful place and the monument is nice to see. Definitely a piece of history you want to see in your lifetime!
Gorgeous piece of history in a great town.
Awesome and historical experience!!
Worth a visit, great views, friendly staff!
Great part of American history you have to see
Very nice views. Don't forget to get your elevator tickets from the gift shop.
If you like history and looking out over four states you should stop in and say hi. We spent about 20 min here but did not go up in the monument. Tickets are $5
The view from the viewing platform in the Bennington monument is spectacular. You can see for miles.
A beautiful sight to see on a sunny day. Not only is the grass surrounding it always well taken care of, but the town of old Bennington is beautiful! I recommend you take your time going through, go to the top of the tower, and just enjoy the sheer height of the tower. Really a sight to see.
Wonderful history & landmark.
Very nice staff good time
This is a very nice place to visit
You have to go up to the top. 5th tallest US monument
Huge with an Amazing view!
Nice setting, plenty of parking, gift store across from the monument.you can ride up monument, for a small fee ,in the elevator.
Good family spot. They offer an elevator ride to the top with a guided tour. Tour time and visit is about 20 minutes.
Friendly staff, great view. Nice experience.
Nice view of Vermont, New York and Massachusetts
Doesn't open till May I would have liked to go in the monument but the view from the grounds was also nice
It was very nice see something different
Supper affordable trip up to the top of the 6th tallest monument in the United States. Kids thought it was cool. Neat little random piece of history on our new england trip.
Great view from top for only $5
Really nice monument
I always enjoy coming to the Bennington Battle Monument. It is a wonderful way to learn about American history for all children and adults. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of space for kids to run around safely and if you like photography it's perfect. For only $5 you can take an elevator up to the observation deck that has great views of the area perfect to take amazing photographs. I always enjoy stopping in the monuments gift store. They always have unique things to buy. They stock the traditional items like Maple Syrup, books, t-shirt and local art. I especially like the rock/gem collection that are for sale. It is must stop if you are in the area.
Beautiful historical place to visit. Friendly staff. You can always learn something from them.
Love state history great place and view from top crazy
What's to be said about the great Bennington monument that hasn't been said about historians for decades? Well for starters, the view is great. On top of that, the history is greater. See, the battle of Bennington facilitated the turning point of the revolutionary war. As I myself am no history major, I suggest looking up the history of this great monument yourself just to see the impact that this small, friendly town made. Alternatively, anybody who lives in Bennington can tell you the history behind this small battle that changed the world. The monument itself is worth visiting, and the history will leave you hanging on the edge of your seat.
Very impressive structure in a spectacular setting. Great piece of our nation's formative history. This place is obviously very well loved and beautifully cared for.
Worth going to the top as it's a nice vantage point to see the entire Bennington area. Costs $5 per person and can only be done via the elevator (no stairs!)
Very cool monument and a piece of history that is important to the forming of our great country . The entire area of Bennington is gorgeous. We loved the little town with the small shops and natural beauty of the mountains. It is a truly quaint village in a beautiful setting. We absolutely love the kindness of the people and even looked at moving there from Ohio when we didn't know anybody there. It is a must visit if you like small towns. Other than the cold weather, in the fall the views of the fall colors from the monument are breathtaking. Please visit if you get a chance, you will Not be disappointed.
Worth the trip! Go to the top, the view is gorgeous
Great place, nice view and fun people. Thanks, bruce
Road on the motorcycle to the Bennington Battle Monument. Nice view from the top! Beautiful fall foliage.
Saw this very tall monument approaching town and was drawn to check it out.
A wonderful piece of history in Historic Bennington Vermont
Wonderful views, interesting history. I was told this is the tallest building in Vermont. Very interesting visit!
This is a neat place to visit. It only cost $5 per person to ride to the top of the monument and get some amazing views.
Climb stairs - great view
I went in early January it was cold and rainy, but worth it. The monument was impressive. I'll be going back in the summer to see its beauty in better conditions.
Great asset in Bennington. Strange one way roads around the monument, drive with caution. Elevator ride to top cost $5. Great views at top but narrow windows make taking a picture difficult.
My husband and I found this by accident. We came home from Maryland a different way and saw this when we stopped at a VT information site. We found the drive so beautiful and when we got to the monument we were only a handful of people there. It was in the fall so there were barrels of apples for tourists to purchase some. The gift shop is like most, area gifts to buy. Lots of delicious maple products and a small staff we spent a long time talking with.
Lovely site, easy to view and take photos. Nice little shop as well. All in all 45 minutes well spent!
Beautiful place to stop. Really enjoyed the grounds.
Great views and a cool little gift shop. Worth dropping in if you’re in the area, especially if you’re like me and you’re determined to beat some history into your kids’ heads lol. Honestly wish we’d spent more time here, and in Bennington in general.
Beautiful view! The people that work there are very nice and will carry on a conversation with you.
I liked it because I was able to run up the stairs very fine
Nice views from observation deck which is reached by elevator. Admission very reasonable-$10. Less if visiting the Bennington Museum as well. Robert Frost's gravesite is nearby. Guides helpful and well informed.
Amazing views from top of tower. $5 so worth it. Very nice & informative staff. Cute little gift shop, restrooms too. Monument is tallest structure in VT so it's worth going. Museum nearby as well. A must see.
Interesting and somewhat little know but of history. Worth the visit if in the area. Remarkable views in a nice setting.
Loved visiting this historical gem while in Vermont. There is an elevator that takes you to the top of the monument to show you the beautiful surrounding areas. Friendly and knowledgeable staff help make the experience smooth and informative. Long live Colonel Warner the Green Mountain Boys!
While visiting Bennington, visit the monument and the Old First Church.
Loved the view!
Great monument, fantastic view and the history...
