This place has terrible organization. It appears a bunch of teenagers is running the tour system. Most of the "guides" were in their early 20's, with some being more mature. The trams would arrive, people would file onto the seats and then the tram would set/wait for 10-15 minutes before leaving. I suppose they were waiting in order to maintain separation from the previous tram, but their process stinks. Then our guide spent a good portion telling people to "move along" or "be quiet". When I questioned him about being told to move and not being able to take photos, he said, "I have 105 people and we need to keep moving." I told him they should make the groups smaller and he said that wasn't possible. It appears the Center just wants to make money, not provide a successful tour. Most of the "stuff" in the museum is geared toward children, which is ok, but not much for an adult to do. Viewing the shuttle and the 747 was good.

I’m absolutely disappointed. The wait for the tram tour is a hoax, they said 1 hour but it was more than 90 minutes. Wait time estimate was incorrect. There’s nothing provided to do to spare time waiting in line. No set logistics plans: bunch of people in what so ever line but unknown which is what... no staff around to disclose any information. Considering the money they charge and the brand NASA it holds, this is below possible expectation.

What a joke. Visited in December 2016 and again in June 2018. June 2018 experience: TRAM is a JOKE! Long lines, totally not worth it. Reminds me of the McDonald's of hamburgers, exhibits are outdated. Makes one believe that NASA is painfully far behind in technology and innovation when compared to private space enterprise. Nothing but a tourist trap, no not waste your time. Not STEM oriented, more like a poorly planned amusement park atmosphere. Regret the time and effort I spent to visit. As a scientist, I think NASA needs to be realistic and admit they are eons BEHIND! Space Station, why spend more on the floating outdated piece of junk. Reality check, the experiments can now be performed on our Mother Earth under simulation.

Off-site parking, wait 2 hours for 5 minute tram ride. Overall just as disappointing as I found it 10 years ago. Go to Huntsville Alabama if you want to see a nice setup.

Fun, great, and informative place to visit in Houston. We were there on a Monday, not too crowded, 30 minute wait for the tram tours. Food was sad and expensive but I would still recommend this place for some family time or just to learn more about space.

As others have noted it's a 1 hour wait to get on a tram to ride about 200 yards to reach the Saturn 5 exhibit. It took about 20 minutes to walk around the Saturn 5 exhibit. Then we had to get back in the tram line after the Saturn 5 exhibit just to return to the space center! Total time waiting in line was 2 hours. Walking to the Saturn 5 exhibit would be much quicker than the tram. Waste of time. Get rid of the stupid tram ride please.

It’s really beyond me how y’all gon go and let Oppurtunity Rover die like that. Like couldn’t even warn him, wow. Imagine being like “My battery low and it’s getting dark” and then get bamboozled and have no idea what’s going on via violent storm. 0/10, do not recommend ever. Dae dae af. Hands down --this is one of my favorite places I've been to. Always imagined myself to be astronauts and being in the place feels like a kid in a candy store. So many things to see and experience! Very sad that I couldn't get myself booked to one of their lunch with astronaut sessions.

We attended the Saturday celebration, Apollo 11 50th Live. Arrived approx 11am. Lines to get in went smooth and that was the only thing. Once in we headed to the Family Stem pavilion, all of the virtual interactions had LONG lines, hey I expected that, we waited and there was issues with the interactions which made our long wait even longer. We did one. Headed inside walked around, headed to food court to grab a bite to eat. What a mess! You were planning this for how long? Super disorganized! Lines to get something to eat were about an hour long. Ice machines were broken, so they had buckets of ice on a cart which were causing condensation to spill on to the floor in front of the refreshment machines. Yeah you had a caution sign out but that's not going to cause no slip and fall accidents. Matter of fact my foot slipped while walking way. Then watching hundreds of people stick their hands in these buckets and touch the ice with bare hands, so nasty, decided didn't need ice. Finally sat down with my husband and son to enjoy our meal. It was pretty good food! Then we headed outside to do a Tram tour. Big mistake! In line for over an hour to get on the Tram because of some type of delay. Nobody knew what was going on. I was told by a team member, I just work here, sorry for the delay. Got to rocket park and was told we had to be in line for other tours by 5pm it was 445pm. Was directed by a team member to go to a line for the Astronaut training facility. Waited in that line to find out it was the line to return to the main center. Literally ran to the other line but couldn't get out of the building because there was a live interview going on. Made it in line at 459pm. Just in time! Phew! Saw the training facility, pretty awesome stuff! Got back to main facility and had to use the restroom. Yucky, very dirty (again i understand with the amount of people there). My husband decided he wanted a snack but there was only 2 restaurants open, it was only 630pm. Those lines had doubled in wait time. You even had the snack bar closed. The vending machining wait was approx 30 min. You had been planning this event for a while and i know you anticipated thousands of people, I'm so surprised at how disorganized it was. We made our way outside to sit under a tent with fans, it was so much cooler outside. It was very hot inside, too many people to keep it comfortable for all. We were still hungry so we headed outside because we had seen a food truck, we waited in line to be told that they were out of food. My problem is this. You have guest that have medical problems such as hypoglycemia, they will need food or a snack. We made our way to a tent to watch Phillip Phillips, i used the air conditioning portable restrooms, thank you for providing those. They were cool and so much more cleaner than the inside ones. We continued to wait for the countdown suprise. 945pm finally came and my son was so excited. 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1... the celebration was on... we waited all day and spent well over 250 dollars for 20 seconds of fireworks. How disappointing. We left immediately after. While walking to the truck my son started crying from the disappointment and the lack of being able to do things. That broke my heart. Too many tickets were sold in my opinion. I would much rather have been disappointed with not being able to get a ticket than in this manor. Thank you for your time.

There were three tours.I went on the one to the “astronauts training facility”our tour guide was great.Compared to how many people there were the waiting time was not that long because the buses arrive pretty quickly

Do not buy NASA tickets till end of August 2019 to avoid heavy restoration in mission control center. It is absolutely worthless to go there to see mess similar to roadside construction site. Total disappointment and felt cheated!!

Visited here a year ago today and it came up on FB memories, before I began using Google Maps and recording places. Had a lot of fun and it was very educational for all of us. They could make the place more family friendly in terms of cost and it would induce more interest and perhaps repeat visits.

NASA is an amazing experience for tourists and Texas natives alike. If you love space or are even interested in learning new information, NASA is the place to visit. Their is exhibits are fun, interactive, and educational. They offer a tram ride to the old mission control which is a super neat experience about the history of NASA and space exploration. Also, for a little extra money you can meet, take pictures with, and have lunch with an astronaut that has been into space. I would highly reccomend this experience because it was super cool, highly informative and entertaining. The astronaut will answer questions and usually talks about the future of NASA. Overall, NASA is a must do experience if you are in Houston!

This is my first time coming here to Houston, so of course I had to come here. Frankly, I'm glad that I had insisted that my extended family and I come to check this place out. My nieces and nephews took forever leaving the playground area because they loved playing there so much. I've learned a lot of fascinating facts about space and the history of our discoveries. Would highly recommend for anyone of any age

This was a great time, so many cool artifacts, exhibits and if you are visiting Houston and have the city pass its a great value. This hits every kid and adults fantasy of going to space. I highly recommend going!

I really enjoyed our visit to the Johnson Space Center. There is quite a bit to see and do here, so you may want to plane for all day or maybe two days (if you can). On one of the tours, you get to see the actual computers used during the moon landing and how they've grown to what NASA uses today. You can watch a live feed from the International Space Station (ISS) and actually watch the employees monitor it. They teach you about the training and schooling required to work there monitoring the space station (which is a lot more than I ever imagined). They have several exhibits and museums that teach about the history of space travel and see how the Astronauts train for space travel and living on the ISS. There are lots of games for the kids to play, a souvenir shop, and several exhibits other things to see and do. The only real major complaint I have is how an organization that can put a person on the moon cannot figure out how to better handle the crowds of people. We had to spend more money for their version of the "fast pass," just so we could see both tours in one day. We packed our own lunch, got their a few minutes after it opened and left when it was dark...and we still didn't see all of it. On the bright side though, parking is quite plentiful and free to the public. Hope you enjoy your visit!

Amazing place to visit. Will come back someday. Took the tram tour, one suggestion.., educate your tour guides! They seemed like a bunch of college kids who didn’t seem too interested in answering any questions. Or maybe they couldn’t. For example, between most stops people had questions about specific buildings, and nobody seemed to have any answers. Other than that, the facility is great, gift shop had many cool items such as mission patches and the usual items, all were fairly priced. Plenty of parking and cool views of the Independence replica. The 905 craft it sat on was bigger than I expected. The Saturn 5..wow! what a treat. Must visit again.

I was extremely excited to visit, and man were my hopes crushed. The parking was a nightmare, but once you get inside it gets worse. There were so many people that you can barely move inside this place. The tram wait was well over two hours, and the wait to visit the shuttle wasn’t much shorter. The rest of the exhibits on display are outdated and honestly not all that interesting. The moon rock exhibit might have been interesting but the room was so full of people you couldn’t even see the displays. I am disappointed that this is what the public face of NASA is. TLDR Too many people, not worth $35 a head. Buy yourself a nice dinner and watch a space documentary- you’ll get more out of it.

Everyone wants to experience this place in their life and definitely it’s a must visit place where you can learn about plenty of things about the space shuttle’s. They also have the real sample of stones they collected from few planets. People who have kids must visit with them, you have to park your car at one place and then take their red line and blue line free shuttles

As a Houstonian, I've been to NASA many times and every time it just seems to get better. As a little kid I took a lot of interest in space exploration, and my favorite exhibit is the plane which used to carry the spaceships across the country. I first developed an interest in space in kindergarten because I got to meet my kindergarten teacher's husband, who was an astronaut during the '90s. I wanted to know more and visiting NASA filled my thirst.

Just awful. 1-3.5hour wait times on everything & no security to stop people pushing in by using elevators or going in the back entrances .The lines were so long they went into the main hub which made seeing the exhibits and moving anywhere extremely difficult & frustrating. The layout is confusing and the overall functionality is poor. I dont write poor reviews but after spending 6hours and only getting through 2 lines this needed to be said.

The expositions change through the year which is good, the different times that i've gone, they have different expositions and they have presentations and demonstrations of findings they have done through the space history, they provide tours and some movies to show about the history and how is that they have evolved through time

Love Johnson's space center. As a baby Boomer who saw the Apollo missions land on the moon it was very emotional for me to go there. I was 9 and my parents were still alive when Apollo had landed on the Moon. The only reason it did not get a 5 star rating was because of the marketing merchandise. There is no merchandise dealing with the Apollo missions. I wanted to buy an original NASA mug and replicas Of the Apollo Lem and rockets. They were not available at NASA. Fortunately I was able to buy them from Amazon but I would much prefer to buy them from NASA. As baby boomers actually saw the landing on the moon on a black-and-white TV when no one would even leave the room for work that day I would think there would be some merchandise available for us.

Starting with a ticket price, not to expensive for such a amazing place and I will say its is one of the best place to take your kids for a trip. I feel, It is so vey inspirational place for kids. This place is huge and you cannot skip anything so be prepared to spend entire day. This place has places to visit for all age group so you will never feel bored. For me the best place was the control room from where the mission to moon was operated.

The most unorganized event I've ever been to. Over an hour wait to get a bus shuttle to NASA freon the parking lot that you're forced to park at and no it wasn't due to too many people that's actually how long it took for 3 buses to show up. To top it off after spending 200 on tickets we are told after we get in that most of the tours are closed for VIP ticket holders including the shuttle! Not worth going to this weekend, better off skipping this completely disorganized overpriced event.

I went for a field trip here and it was amazing! I would definitely recommend this place. Me and my Best friends are space fanatics and took great interest in the tour. The food is amazing with a variety of foods to eat. The Gift shops have alot of cool and space related products and more. To sum my trip up, It was definitely the best place I have visited and I definitely recommend to people of all ages!

This is a great place for everyone. I took my in-laws here since my they were interested in going. I haven't been here since I was a kid, maybe when I was 10 years old or so. The trip took about 45 minutes to an hour drive from Spring TX/The Woodlands area. Definitely worth the drive. They offer a senior citizen discount as well as military discount. They may have had student discount, but I don't recall. We also paid for the self guided tour headset. Very helpful when looking around with the headset icons. We also took the tram tour, included in admission. I was very intrigued to see how things have improved since I was 10 (about 30 years ago)...aging myself LOL. The tram tour takes your "behind the scenes". You get to see the control center. No longer used, recently retired but cool to see the control center used during the challenger and other missions. Definitely recommended. Depending on how you use your time and if you purchase the self guided headset, you could easily spend an entire day here. We arrived around 11am and left about 4pm.

For all of the Engineering horsepower in these grounds, they need to deploy a team to improve logistics. You spend most of your time waiting in line and an hour waiting for the tram. It ruins the experience. Either quadruple the number of trams or build a monorail system to quickly haul people from place to place. There are many interesting things to see, but for every hour you spend enjoying and learning, you spend 3 hours waiting in line and on trams. Utterly ridiculous.

Whether you are a kid or a kid at heart this place is a must do. They have lots of hands on and interactive exhibits. I really enjoyed Rad Rhonda on the Stellar Science Stage. Watching her interact with the kids in the audience was a joy to behold. The food is overpriced in my opinion. 16 dollars for a chicken sandwich coleslaw and a coke is way to much. They have two shops that I saw. I went to the Space Trader gift shop and was helped by a lovely gentleman named Kennth. Over all I would definitely recommend it

I love the Space Center. it is like walking through the history of our US space program with hands on exhibits. It can be very noisy with lots of kids at times but it still has heart-warming experiences that i don't think you can get elsewhere. I would be lying to say i am not still mad the Space Shuttle didn't come to her real home but there is a tribute to her on the grounds.

WAY TOO MUCH money for this experience. Even the TRAM thing sucked beyond measure!! I'm ashamed of NASA! This was the biggest waste of money I can imagine. I like this place a lot, lots of things to do here, must take experience of Virtual Reality and Morphy Ride, and the movies shows with excellent explanations by Astronaut. This site having real model of Boeing 747 Aircraft with Space Craft on the top. Site also having a big cafeteria and store for shopping. Must keep 12 hrs if you want to visit this site completely.

If you're from Houston, love Texas, and have never visited here, I'm gonna say a prayer for you. Okay, well maybe I won't go to those extremes but you should definitely check it out at least once even if you aren't "into space" stuff. There's just so much to read, learn, and see here. Expect to make the best of it so try to spend at least half of your day here especially if you want to do the tours (they offer 2) which I recommend doing so. What to Expect: - A long drive there if your'e coming from the city. - Lots of walking (yaay to cardio) - Big crowds during peak times (or all the time really) - You'll have to wait sometime for the tour trolley(s) - Spend over an hour on the tour(s) - Climb numerous stairs during one of the tour(s) however, there is an elevator if needed. - Learn lots about space, its history, and see cool giant stuff. Recommend: - Arriving early - Not visiting during Spring Break or Holidays - Wear comfy shoes - Bring your own lunch. Everything is price $$$. (yes, they sell food there but I am a vegetarian so I prefer to bring my own lunch. NO OUTSIDE FOOD is allowed inside however, you are able to re- enter with a stamp so I left my PB&Jelly in my vehicle and came outside to eat it. I had a mini-picnic by a tree and it was peaceful. - Sign up for their newsletter on-line. They sometimes offer a $5 off coupon per person We did not have kids with us but expect majority of patrons to be families with hyper kids and lots of energy. With that said, YES, I would still recommend going.

Outstanding facility that accounts for the historical events of NASA's history(Apollo, Mercury, Gemini and Space Shuttle). If you are in the Houston area this is a must see. A++ and recommend!!!

If you are an adult who wants to peruse the exhibits at a relaxed pace, I recommend visiting at slow times, perhaps weekday mornings. The Space Center was overrun today with large groups of school age children on field trips, and it was distracting. The Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, Kansas is a good choice for those seeking a space museum with more of a museum-like atmosphere.

If you serious about science - do not waste your money on this "Museum" as its completely not worth it. This is just an attraction for the kids with childish exhibits. I would also not recommend to take audio guide as there a tiny amount of information provided. In summary, my family paid for about $80 for frustration, and inside they tried pull more money from us. Trams were closed at 3 PM (we missed it), although museum is closing at 5 PM. Avoid this place and save your time/money if you visit Houston.

In order to just take a picture of something saying NASA or a "fake" rocket you need to pay between 5 and 10 usd. For me this is a robbery and made me really disappointed after driving all across Houston. Not recommended u less you can spend the whole day there

This was our whole reason for our trip to Houston. We visited with kids ages 3, 9, and 14. They all had a blast. We got to see the Mission Control and a special work area from two different tours. Plus the inside was really great to learn and have fun. The staff was very helpful and told us to take the tours first. The food court was a little expensive but we brought our lunch. They let us go back out to the car and get it and eat in the food court.

We had a blast going to NASA this weekend we took family hat came from out of town. We have been here for 3 years and this was our first visit. The tram tour was amazing I was bummed that the elevator for mission control was down so we were not able to visit that area. Also my only complaint was the fact that the family/handicap accessible restroom has a tiny baby changing table that is not suitable to change a child/adult on who is wheelchair bound I would love to see some type of bench or something that would make it safer and easier to change my kids on we ended up placing the garbage can under it to help support my boys to change them. Other than that it was a wonderful place with so much to do ! The boys loved looking around at everything. We loved the different exhibits as well! They have elevators to get to all the sites which was super helpful in getting around !

Tour was incredible. Over 5 hours in a small group, change to see mission control in person (got to chat with flight director and the Adco - how cool is that!!!!). It's amazing to walk around the training facilities, hear and see the history of the space program. It's future and its present. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun and even made a detour for me as I had to leave early for a flight. Seeing what NASA does is making me reconsider my life choices a little!

No trip to Houston is complete without a visit to the Space Center. Very well laid out, informative, exciting and worth the entry ticket price. You can easily spend 6-7 hours here. They have something for everyone, young and senior, fun and engaging. If you have limited time, make it a point to see the Starship Gallery, Discovery Plaza, Rocket Center, Mission Control and Astronauts Training Center. If you’re visiting in December you absolutely must visit the Neutral Bouyancy Lab. The NBL is an enormous underwater training system for astronauts to feel as close to zero gravity as possible.

Plenty to do for the kids. Definitely do the tram tours first before the heat of the day sets in. But the tours are not well marked and confusing. The same line that you queue for does several different tours so you don't know which one you're doing until you at front as the tram pulls up and they announce it doing 'xyz'. They can better plan this for sure!!! By the time your back from the 1st tour the line gets super long. all the tours seem to head off to the same vicinity across the road pass the Longhorns where there's the Space Station bldg, Mission Control and Rocket park (inc. the monster Saturn V inside bldg.). Once you've done the tours then its time to cool off in the main bldg where the mock-up shuttle is. However at this time there's so many people already here that you lose the exploration appeal. there are many to do exhibits for the kids. As we went on memorial w/e this was super busy. Parking is plentiful. FYI you do get a $10 off mil. discount.

I am not up-to-date with what’s going in the Space program. But I found the whole center so interesting, hearing from the first mission, to our failures, to the climate of what was going on in the nation, there were so much to learn and so much to appreciate in our history. The shop was huge and a lot items to buy. The tour was amazing and it gave me appreciation for all those who work there, who are pushing the advancement of the space program. This is amazing to come to you no matter what age you are, and I advise everyone to come visit!

The addition of the shuttle and plane is incredible! The lines for the 90 minute tour were really excessive, we were told it was a 2 to 3 hour wait. We chose use the shorter 60 minute tour of the Buoyancy Lab. It was great, but the bus couldn't get the video to show. Other attractions inside were Great!

Disappointing. When walking through the exhibits, a lot of the simulations did not work at all. You also have to pay extra to go on some of the “rides” that are literally just rocking chairs back and forth. I mean $10 to go on a ride once is excessive when you already have to pay to get into the visitor’s center. The picture they take for you wouldn’t even show up on their system. Long lines to go on the tram tour as well.

NASA is an awesome experience for tourists. If you love space or are even interested in learning some new information, NASA is the place to visit. Their exhibits are fun, interactive, and educational. They offer a tram ride to the old mission control, which is a super neat experience, about the history of NASA and space exploration. Also, for just a little extra money you can meet, and take pictures with, an astronaut that has been into space. I would highly recommend this because it was so neat and highly informative, but entertaining too..:) The astronaut answered questions and talked about the future of NASA. Overall, NASA is a must do experience, if you are in Houston area or traveling through:)

Price of tickets is not too bad for a day out. The exhibits are not that great. The ambiance feels like it is catered to children and it is about the extravagance of NASA as opposed to the historic importance of it. The tour is fantastic and the tour guides are customer oriented and knowledgeable. The cafe staff and gift shop staff are really rude and need retraining. Summer is a busy time and I honestly feel like they had no etiquette.

I was very disappointed with my visit at the Johnson Space Center Museum. We arrived at the opening time and immediately went for the tram tour (as many people on this website and the NASA website recommended). We we got there, we had to wait in line for an hour. The crew was very disorganized and would send out trams (one per fifteen minutes) with empty seats on them. The waiting area was nice, although cramped. When we did get on the tour, we had a nice time seeing Mission Control and the Astronaut Training Facility. However, when we got off at Rocket Park, we had to wait another thirty minutes to get back onto the tram. By the time we got back to the museum, we had to run through the rest of the exhibits due to how much time we spent there. The building is nice, but very unorganized. The staff is friendly, but very frantic. Overall, I would not recommend paying $30 per person to come here. You would be better off spending it somewhere else, or investing in SpaceX.

We just came back from a "Camp-in" experience at the space center. I can't say enough about the experience. That staff was amazing, caring, understanding and hard working. They tried hard to accommodate everyones needs. Carl is wonderful at hos job and should be commended for a great event. We went with our lego group and are foing back with our Trail Life group and can not wait. THANKS from Pop Pop Popcorn!

The attractions I did see were great and informative. I would have liked to see more of the attractions, but...the tram lines were so long- 45 minute wait to go on the first tram leaving the main building, 45 minute wait for the second tram ride, 45 minute wait for the tram to back to the main building! This is space center Houston!!! NASA put a man on the moon and so much more and you don't know how to schedule your trams!! So many school buses and children and so many visitors - you KNOW how many tickets you are selling ... and the person in charge knows that more transportation will be needed. So schedule it! How hard can it be?

Amazing place to visit. If you live close then really good annual memberships and if you are visiting for a little while then great multi attraction tickets available. The best thing is the shuttle. Better to not go on the weekend as the que for the tours was over 1.5 hours for each and a little lucky dip. Well worth the visit.

They periodically have special days that are full of special events. We were there for homeschool day. We also go there when family visits us from out of state. Pick up the schedule of shows for the day when you first arrive. And head to the tram ride first thing. Later in the day there can be long lines. If you can't do the tram ride you can still go to rocket park after playing at the main space center by driving to security, telling them you want to stop at Rocket Park. The security will wave you into the tiny parking lot and then you can walk the rocket park grounds without doing the tram.

We had purchased the Houston city pass and this place was one of the options available in that. For anybody who loves space and rockets, this place is a must visit. The place is maintained ok. There are two tram tours which needs a long wait time. I found the Red tour more fun than the blue. The independent plaza is a must visit in this place. Cafeteria has some decent food with lot of seating space. the children’s play area may need a little more maintenance.

As someone from the other side of the planet who reads and watches space exploration from afar, it was great to see first hand the things I've read about. I especially liked the tram tours and I thought it was worth taking both. The only problem (and it's a problem for the city and not the space center) is a lack of public transport options. As someone visiting on business for a few days I would prefer public transport or a shuttle to the hassle of renting a car.

This place is part of Space Center Houston, don't forget to catch the 90-min tram tour to visit this place and the 'NASA Mission Control Center' only problem is the queue to the trams have long waiting times.

My family took the Level 9 Tour at Johnson Space Center, and we had an amazing time! The tour guide was excellent, and the air conditioned bus was very comfortable. This place used to be Iconic. This place used to be the not only amazing, but it was special to Houston and the world. I remember going as a child and seeing the exhibits and marvel at the amazement. I remember stories that my dad would tell me about his memory of the place. But now, its so much different then it once was. I wouldn't even call it the same thing. The Space Center has turned into a cheap space themed celebration station. The costs are astronomical, it smells like sweat and wet carpet, and there is maybe %15 of the actual space stuff left. It's laughable as long as your not on your way home from an expensive trip there with disappointed kids in the car. If you want a real space center experience, go to Florida. Much, much better.

This is a must see destination if you are in the Houston area. The Shuttle Independence on the back of the 747 transport is an awesome new exhibit. The tour of the old mission control, mock up of the space station/testing facility as well as the Saturn 5 rocket is well worth it. You get to see many one of a kind exhibit in the main building. There are plenty of things for smaller children to see and do here as well.

This place is absolutely must visit place for all lovers of SPACE and NASA. The museum has got main entrance hall with 3-4 rooms to be visited, toilets and food court. Plus additional tram tours are available to visit real NASA working buildings and offices. Gifts and presents are available in the main entrance, so no need to worry you can purhase them at the end. Place is massive as well as crowded, so try to arrive before 9:00 in the morning. Must visit place for all tourists

A traveller's Tale

All my friends raved about the NASA space center at florida but when I visited this it was a great experience for me. I felt like a little child learning about so many new things. I took the space shuttle ride which rotated all about 360 degrees with all twists and turns. It was a lit of fun. I was not able to take the tram tour and wish I could. If you guys do go make sure to do it 1st thing in the morning as later there will be a lot of people and hours of wait.

Spent a lot of time in line for one tram to then wait in line to transfer to another tram, to then drive around the campus and see the outside of a bunch of buildings. Finally got to see a mock up of mission control, which was okay even though not the current control room. And, It was pretty cool seeing the Saturn up close; otherwise not worth the $30 cost of admission. Way too much time wasted in line and getting carted around

It is interesting... see the bus, the airplane, etc... but I have to confess that I thought it would be more organized, or at least have a routine to guide the visit. The place is cool, but the lack of guidance bothers a lot. The staff is gentle, but a lot of people for few employees. The parking lot is very huge, this is not a point of worry.

Also, the gift shop is incredible, a staggering variety of shirts, mugs and more. Cafeteria better than expected!
