This was a great family friendly free thing to do.

Albert F.

Ashutosh Kumar

Good saw birds.. it very lucky and beautiful place

Alexsandra Luster

Great place to watch the bats fly out from under the bridge.

Chris G

Great place to see the bats. Parking fee is reasonable. I think they need to place more trashcans/recycle bins in the area though.

Kelly Honey

Very cool place. We watched bats come out at dusk. Awesome experience. The belt way area is very nice.

Kylee Haslam

One of the coolest experiences I've ever had was watching all those bats fly out from under this bridge, it's so amazing! This is a must do in Austin! The best time to view the bats (in August at least) is 8:00PM.

Azeem Syed

It's a good place to see bats, you won't see them sometimes but most of the time during August to October you can see them around 8.10 to 8.40 pm

Rob S

Great place to watch the bats. Highly recommend the boat tour or under bridge viewing spots, especially on the Southeast side.

Bbalila USA

Had a great time on the bridge. Saw some bats but not a lot. Views are fantastic.

robert demeo

It was pretty great to see the bats take flight from a paddle board try to see it on the water

Chakravarthy RK

Nice view of Lake and has boat ride. Known for the bats that reside beneath the bridge and popularly known as bat bridge.

Sean Devlin

Amazing display with the nighttime departure of thousands of bats!

Mark Wandro

I went there at dusk to see the bats. It was very crowded, but everyone was having a good time and I did see lots of bats.

J Black

South east on the bridge, above the waterline is the best place to view emerging bats. Best time July /August 730pm to 815pm. After the bats emerge, go to the center of the bridge to watch them feed on fireflies. You can also rent kayaks nearby or go on a boat tour and get right up underneath the bridge.

Gena Quarantello

Went here to watch the bats at night but found out it was to early. Best end of July/August. We saw about 6-10 of them but had fun visiting with all the other people there so it was still a great time. Had drinks at the Four Seasons first so that was also nice

Courtney Payne

It was beautiful.. unfortunately, however, we were standing there for 2 hours before the bats finally surfaced.. but they came out after the sun went down and you couldn't see them.. they also didn't come up above the bridge they kind of circled below and flew away. Maybe it was just my bad luck, but I wish I went on a better day.

Elizabeth Richards

Got to see the bats fly out from under and it was a really neat experience! Quite crowded though and there was a silent protest which was annoying because they were taking up valuable space where all the people were trying to watch.

Nicholas Thompson

The bats where an amazing experience and an unexpected aspect of the city

Ryan Muse

Bats were cool and then they peed on me. Just a spritzing.

Lesley Anderson

The nightly emergence of the bats from under the bridge is awesome!

kathryn S

The rating is for bat watching. The bats flew after dark. Way after sunset and past dusk. The city was beautifully lit. I expected bats to fly up from under the bridge as I have seen in posted videos and photos. They did not.

Naked Polygons

This was a super fun experience. I recommend it to anyone visiting the area for sure.

Axel-Dominic Carnicom

Some of the best views of downtown to be taken here!

Nancy Franklin

The view of the bats flying from this bridge at sunset was great! I enjoyed reading about bats on the signs from Bat Conservation International next to the parking lot. Visiting this bridge was one of the highlights of my visit to Austin

Grigoriy Shmigol

Was hoping to see a cloud of bat's leaving the place/cave under a bridge but saw only a few. Locals driving by honk at the tourist crowd, not sure why though. Place gets packed with tourists. Walk around under the bridge and you will find a bat drawing on a bridge pylon. Also could hear bat's squeaks. But that is about it.

Jacqueline Micklos

If you are looking for something different near the downtown corridor, this is it! The bats start coming out shortly after sunset and you can see it from a couple of different spots. Either from the ground level or from the bridge. Super cool and a must see!

Connor Li

Every night, there will be a bunch of bats flying out from under the bridge, very interesting.

Jose Antonio Guerrero Tagliaferro

Awesome experience we went to see the bat's and then walked around for a bit, great experience

Michael Fresneda

Awesome, Awesome place. Got to see Davy Crockett paintings. Almost as if you were actually there.

Kamille Chavez

I have lived in Austin for 27 years and have the best memories by this bridge/hike and bike trail. Beautiful views.

A Edwardo

With the Texas heat the lake helps keep the trail cool. There is also plenty of shade from trees.

Sebastian Valdivieso

Great view of the west side of Austin and the surrounding city. Also this is the location to view the bat colonies from March to October. Great atmosphere.

Timothy Frary

Went to watch bats fly out from under bridge. I believe that there are around a million bats, they fly out every day at sunset. It's an awesome sight, I highly recommend it to people. Free source of entertainment.

Flor Garcia

Awww man. Breath taking. Austin is sooo beautiful

nandini mathur

The bridge is much like any other but if you take a cruise in a boat down the river under it, you can get a spectacular view of the Mexican free tail bats which colonise the bridge’s underside. Also, you get a great view of the Austin skyline. Many people prefer viewing the bats from the top of the bridge or along its side. At times, though, the bats do not come out in hordes. Try your luck!

Brendan Herlihy

By the time the bats came out it was too dark to see anything. I understand it's hit or miss but for us it was a miss. Bummer as we were looking forward to seeing the nightly Exodus.

Sukrit Gupta

There are a lot of people every day to observe the bats. They have a lawn and that's where everyone waits. I'd suggest to look at the "Bats flight time" for the previous day to see when you want to go there, sometimes it's as late as 1 hour after sundown!

hong cc

Has bicycle path for cycling. I have no regrets to take the scooter that far to come here and see the view :)

Arthur Pinzon

Went to watch the fireworks, great place to stand, the show was not the best.

Nori C

We were able to hear the bats at first, then they came flying out in clusters and it was quite beautiful! Only downside was the tour boat flashing the red light at them. Bit distracting, otherwise great time.

John R Sisario

Took my adult children to the Austin Bat Tour and we had a great time cruising Town Lake.

Todd Sobocinski

It's a bridge, often backed up for some reason, especially during rush hour. Good views of the lake from the relatively wide walkways, and the bats are fun to watch in the summer evenings.

Olivier della Valle

Definitely a must-see and one of the best views over Austin!

sherrill white

Watching the bats was amazing. The homeless and trash in Austin are enough to make me not return. The city is really going down.

Fabiana Ferreira

It's a great place to spend the end of afternoon.

Shane Reynolds

This is the spot to watch 1.5 million bats emerge nightly, from under the bridge. There is lots to do in downtown Austin. This is just one. As it turns out, the bats have brains of their own and do not always put on a show. We stood on and around the bridge, with at least 1,000 other people, waiting for 2 hours. We only saw bats swoop in and out from below the bridge. They didn't get started until after dark, the night we were there. I'm told it is spectacular, when they all come out together. Mainly around August.

Nichole Womack

Such an amazing view! The weather was perfect, drivers were aware and careful with everyone around! Enjoyed waiting on the bats! If you listen closely you can even hear them chitter!!! Such an amazing time!

Carley Grimes

Fantastic. Bat bridge! It is one of the most fun touristy attractions I have seen in a while. It is Tuesday and the bridge had folks to see the bats but it wasn't so crowded that it was obnoxious. I love how Austin really celebrates it's natural treasures with this bridge. Whether it is the Colorado River and surrounding trails and parks or the endearment they have for their bat friends who live in the bridge. Totally worth a near sunset stop.

Craig Grady

Great place to watch the bats come out at dusk.

Miriam Mizrahi

Beautiful scenery. We waited for the bats to come out but the rain affected and we did not see any.

Ventilation - Let's vent

All for the bats.....never knew bats could put on such a spectacular performance....seeing this was too cool!!

Anna Ruhlman

One of my favorite Austin attractions! I love seeing the bats fly out at night!

The Branded Bunch

We loved the bats, they are fascinating, and its dumbfounding how there are so many! The atmosphere is pretty awesome, with all the people that come together to witness the bats come out for dinner!

Gaby VanHorn

The view was beautiful! The bat experience was great and very unique! If I had to do this over, I would totally get the paddle board or a kayak and be on the water!

Appraisal Experts

Beautiful location. Kayaks and equipment was well maintained. Reasonable rates. Wish they had some larger kayaks as the standard ones are a bit cramped for a person 6'3" otherwise a top notch place to get your River fix.

Nico Smith

Fantastic spot to watch the colony of bats. Get early to snag a place at the bridge railing. Or show up later when pedestrians depart, the bats will still be there.

Francisco Anchondo

You definitely understand why this is the #1 city in the U.S.

Logan Rutledge

Watch the largest colony of bats in North America erupt from under the bridge during the summer months. The Mexican free-tailed bats head farther south across the border during the winter, but don’t worry this spot is a must all year round. In my opinion, it was the best view of Austin’s skyline - right in the heart of the city. At night when the sun was setting and Frost Bank Tower and the other buildings were turning their lights on, it was the place to be.

Lawrence Tan

Make sure you get there a half an hour before sunset if you want to see the bats fly out for the night. They are difficult to see because they are camouflaged when they fly against the trees. By the time they contrast against the sky, they form a cloud quite a distance away from the bridge. Please like this review if it has been helpful to you.

Joe Roche

Bats millions of them. An amazing experience. A must do.

Amber Gesik

It's a very neat experience! I went early and waited for two hours for the bats to come out. This was also on a Monday so it was not extremely crowded. It's very cool to hear the bats and see them fly out. Family friendly and free. Weekends may be very crowded but if I had did it again I would go right after sun set and not go early and wait. As soon as they started flying people left. After that it was not crowded on the bridge. I'd definitely say to go once and experience it.

Joanna R.

Came here to see the Bats. Enjoyed watching other visitors on their kayaks and canoes while waiting. It's a nice view.

Michael Jansheski

VERY cool... get a spot UNDER the bridge near knoll..... bring a VERY strong flashlight to observe the bats as they exit.....

Sue Sears

This is a must see if you are visiting Austin. Beautiful skyline and water views. Good place to take sunset pictures although it was cloudy when we were there. Millions of bats flying out over the water from under the bridge, and millions of people watching the sight.

DiAYEgo ALT

Overall the sunset is one of the best sunsets I've ever seen. Congress Avenue is such a nice street. And I loved to see the bats at night.

Paulina Fernandez

Beautiful place. Loved walking around and I enjoyed watching the fireworks from here.

Abby Stopka

This was an absolutely amazing experience! You could hear the bats inside the bridge before they even started flying out. Fantastic. My kids were over the moon watching this. We will definitely come see this again!

Chad Beraud

Wonderful experience. I hear some people don't get to see the bats due to it getting dark before they fly out, but it worked out perfectly for us. I'm sure the view from the bridge is awesome but it's much more crowded than the ground area.

Tiffy Fone

Stand on the bridge at dusk to watch the Bats fly, or sitting under the bridge at be very different experiences. You should do both. And then take the Bat Watch Cruise.

Diego Cortez

Nice bridge, but nice sunset with bats. Recommend arriving 30 mins early to make sure you get a good spot.

Topher Sampson

It's a bridge, so not really much to say. If you've seen a bridge in the last twenty years you won't be surprised by the design or capacity, and while nice there isn't anything outstanding about it. The location it encompasses however is where the true beauty lies. Between the nightly flight of bats, the river below, and the city lights it is simply stunning.

Colinda Knight

OMGOSH!!! Getting to watch the bats take off at early dusk was AWESOME! It is so mesmerizing to watch so many bats leave the bridge and head into the sky for the beginning of night! Over 1.5 million bats live under the bridge and it does take quite some time for all of them to come out. You definitely get time to see them and be taken in by them simple amazing little creatures

Zachary Smith

It's a bridge. There is supposed to be a great view of the bats at sunset but not at this time of year. There are however great decks to view the bats when they are there.

fred fulford

Not too much to look at tbh. Came here to see the bats. They are rather small and you have to be on the bridge where it gets very busy to see them. It gets very crowded. They came out around 730 when the sunset. Its ok but not to worry if you miss it.

Gregory Sugalski

Went to see the bats on a guided kayak your. If you're in decent shape and it's not too hot out I highly recommend it. We had a perfect evening.

Mayur Patel

I wouldn't normally even think to rate a bridge but it was a really cool experience to come here at dusk and watch all the bats fly out from ubder the bridge. I didn't really know what to expect but this was definitely something you had to see to believe. Photos don't do it justice, and it is incredible how the bats just swarm out in a band like formation - almost like a school of fish.

Mischa Schlichting

Came to see the bats. I was expecting a much bigger spectacle. Still neat to see, just make sure you have the patience to wait for them to come out.

Kerry Bradley

I am a huge batman fan and learned from my son who goes to college in Austin of the Capital Bridge Bats so we had to check it out. It was amazing to be able to see 750,000 - 1.5 million bats emerge from inside the bridge at sunset IN A MAJOR US CITY! I was amazed at the sight and so was my wife and college-aged son. Be sure to arrive 30-45 minutes before sun set to get a spot under the bridge on the shoreline. Be patient in waiting because it is well worth it.

Richard Osterude

Wow the bats are amazing. I think it might be better to see them from the water otherwise the bridge or South Park are best

FL Smith

This is a peaceful spot in the midst of the city. We didn't get to see the bats, they flew late that night, but the scenery was nice.

Harold Millsap

Good view of bats coming out. Convenient parking but the parking ticket machine really sucked. The LCD was washed out and you just had to guess at what to enter. Must have been 100 people lined up to get parking ticket.....

Chris Neukirch

Beautiful park area. Well maintained paths. We waited for the bats but they came out so sporadically and in few numbers that we didn't see them. But still a beautiful night and worth the trip.

Mihir Yerande

Saw the bats in the evening. There weren't many great spots to view the bats from, either on or off the bridge. But you can see them as they swarm out of the bridge and catch some flashes of them against the dark sky definitely worth seeing

Hamed Samadi

This bridge is known as a colony of over a million bats. That’s enough number to bring people everyday evening to watch them when they come out of their houses to hunt insects. The location also has a great sunset view and you can take tons of nice pictures.

thomas edwardson

Good view of the city and the good news is that the Bats love this bridge.

T Floyd

Took the family to see the bats. We had fun hanging out by the th river and watching them fly out.

Cyrus Baty

We did this last year. I loved it. We did the boat tour and our guide was amazing. He told tales about the city. It was great. Would recommend giving it a shot. Just don’t open your mouth when you are under the bridge. This is my favorite places to relax in Austin. Sit back relaxing and reflect on life and how good God has been to me and what he has brought me from. Take this spot personal. I recommend couples to come up there especially since fall is approaching

Larry Eason

We waited for the bats to come out after 9pm and come they did, but you either need a red light or night vision to get full affect of the viewing. We met several people and had great conversations.

Richard Towers

Loved watching the bats! Our cruise captain was great!

Morgan Philips

Beautiful Austin sunset and watching the bats fly out! Great experience

M Hoffman

So cool to see all the bats flying out from under the bridge at sunset, plus a fantastic view of the city in the evening. Great way to end our first trip to Austin.

Boris Velinov

There are many places on the bridge or beneath the bridge to see the bats. You can also rent a kayak, see them from a boat or just walk on the promenade below the bridge. The bats are located in the slats under the bridge. There are literally thousands of them. Yesterday we saw at least 3,000 of them and they created 3 separate swarms (see the photo). In order to see the bats you usually have to wait until sundown. Right now that’s around 8:10pm, but check Google each night for the exact time of sundown. The bats will leave their “nest” within +/- 10 minutes of sundown. Also, you want to be on the East side of the bridge. When the bats wake-up they fly East (towards the Four Season’s Hotel).

Calista Martin

So glad we were on the path on the South side. Looking up at the bats was amazing.

Ken Czernik

Pretty cool place to go. The bats were cool. We stayed right downtown at the Hilton by the convention center. For the most liberal city in Texas they have the largest number of homeless which is bad. We were accosted on almost every corner downtown by panhandlers or people with some cause or another.

Rusty Shackelford

We went to see the bats... They never came out so we just left... Bet it would have been nice though..

Jerry Mikols

Excellent time went on boat trip to see the bats

Wendy Lishman

We loved seeing the bats come out at night

christy caldwell

It was pretty nice but wish the lights weren’t so bright so you could see the bats better. Maybe turn red during certain hours?! Still a great experience!

Mrew S

A wonderous once in a lifetime sight to behold (if you are visiting) of bats streaming from under the bridge on search of their evening meals. Worth the wait if you visit in the correct seasons. My words and novice photography cannot capture the moment.

Donna Hutchison

Nice bridge great location with plenty of walking space. However it gets more dicey when you have hoards of bat watchers and speeding cars within inches of each other. Add strollers, bird scooters, and bikes to the mix and it gets tricky!

Mark Hutchinson

North side, street level East is not great viewing due to trees. Not good for older crowd who have to sit but it was an overall good experience

Kathy Gerdts Norman

Always great fun to watch the bats. Took the boat tour which I highly recommend. Fun!

Annie Sanchez

Beautiful!!! There are so many activities any family can do right by this bridge.

Prashant Mishra

Beautiful view. Best time to visit us during sun set. Must visit if you're in Austin for the first time. There are boats available for a better view. This place is usually crowded even on weekdays. There's no specific parking but there are hotels nearby.

Bart Fruechte

A fun place to watch the bats each summer night.

Sascha Giese

Okay the bats are there, but my expectations where to high. I expected a massive swarm, and I fact there are loads of them, but as they started it was quite dark already so there wasn't too much to see, even in late July. Definitely go to the side with the car park. Under the bridge is the best view but it comes with the risk of a guano rain.

Rohan Jay

The bridge is one of the viewpoints for the July 4th fireworks. It encompasses the lake and surrounding bars in downtown Austin. You can also get a great view of the sunset here or just bike or jog around the park. There is plenty of car parking nearby and the lake is known for kayaking.

Bob Roberts

Great spot to see tourists and all the new people that are ruining our what used to be Great City. You really have to struggle to remember that we are the Friendly State when you want to punch all of the douchebags that are moving here. I mean, if I see 1 more pair of "Salmon" colored shorts I'm gonna flip out on someone!

Springer Julian

Surprisingly the Congress Ave bridge bats are very well received by all of my out of town guests. It's a simple, pleasant evening out. Park your car nearby, stroll down So Co to grab some of the local trailer foods then hike to the bridge by sunset to see the bats fly out.

Kati Campbell

We waited 2 hours for the bats to come out. It seemed they only swarmed under the bridge. We were very disappointed in this experience, but they views of the city and sunset are very nice.

Meg McCarthy Burmeier

Seeing the bats was the best part about our Austin trip! There's a nice little hill below the bridge that has rocks to sit on while you wait for the tiny wonders to emerge.

michael lawton

What am i rating here. The bats are amazing. The bridge is just a bridge.

Georgina Phelan

Good place to see the bats. Make sure you’re prepared to wait though as they can sometimes take a while to leave.

Audessa Siccardi

Intriguing experience watching all the bats. :-o

Joe Woll

Went one evening and it was quite chilly with a pretty good wind. They didn't come out that night. Went back a few days later, light breeze and 70 degrees. When they came out, it was like someone turned on the spigot. They just kept coming and coming. Great show. Nature is amazing. Definitely a must see when visiting Austin.

Melanie Coon

Only saw a few single bats, but the mood of the crowd was jovial and hopeful. Most people were in town for work amd were simply curious.

Nicole Leonard

Needs some sprucing up I think. For all the people that visit for the bats, it's pretty sad looking. All dirt paths, no where to sit really, and just all around drab.

Arpan Shah

It was great fun seeing the bats fly after sunset. The bats fly East from the bridge. The best place to see is from the south side below the bridge or from the top of the bridge towards the south edge. We waited till like 8:20 to see the bats come out. It's a nice bridge to walk on and see the downtown.

Warren Smyth

Visited to watch the bats, this I assume is a daily occurrence, definitely worth waiting for them to make their appearance, an impressive sight watching them fly over the river to their destination, a very popular attraction, witnessed by thousands on/under the bridge

Your Local Guide :

Let me tell ya what a beautiful place to kayak!

Viola Wright

Loved the calm water, the gentle breeze, the birds chirping, the beautiful Bridge, but what happened to the Bats? We waited along with hundreds of people and they were a no-show. Oh we smelled their excrement, which was nature at its best, but, Where were the Bats!! Now, I must return for I heard that it's so excitiing when they appear like a dark cloud engulfing the night sky.

Tahir Azim

Took a while for the bats to come out but otherwise great experience!

Austin Dollahan

Watching the bats at night fly out is awesome.

Darvin Morgan

Great place to see the Bats fly out in evening. Beautiful View of Town Lake and Downtown Austin from Bridge

Tonya Henry

This is a very nice view. Have you ever seen people line up on a bridge when it's not a parade? People do here just to view the bats and watch those below viewing the bats and tourist boats go by.

Hilla Singh

Went to witness the emergence of the bats at dusk. Interesting sight. Parking is a huge problem

Christina Adames

It was cool watching the bats.. I just wish I had been more prepared.

Juho Lepparanta

Enjoying watching the bats. A true life experience.

Samer Tallauze

Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge/ Thanks for the opportunity to see these amazing creatures

Kristen Szkudlarek

It was so cool to go to the bridge and see the bats come from the bridge. It is an experience you will not regret or forget

Nans V

A great sight - Thousands of bats flying out at sunset!

Dan Leunig

The iconic Bat Bridge. Get there at sunset and witness a natural phenomena.

Anitha Josephine

The bat bridge is one of the popular places in that area. Beautiful park. The bats are usually expected in the month of March through April. They expect about a million bats to visit at this time. We went there late in the February and saw few hundreds. The walk trail will lead to a spot rite near the bridge and we got the perfect view. The sunset, city lights, bats and the river by the side made a wonderful evening.

Jimmy Boggs

One of my favorite rages and Austin! You can do the bats here on the east side of the bridge from March to November of every year. Incredible views of Converse Avenue and the capital building

f f

The bats are under the bridge if you don't get the chills when hearing 20-50 bats in the air at night your good.

Bryce Lutke

It was an awesome place to watch the bats from particularly the south side of the bridge, it also leads you to an awesome park where there are some great walking trails and you can see downtown Austin from across the river, also has great views of the sunset from there.

Mel B

Stayed until 8:15pm to see beta, but, they didnt come out. Probably came out right after. :)

Bart Rogers

Check out the bats! Cool free experience!

Kar Ma

Awesome watching thousands of Bats coming out to dine at sundown. A must see when in Austin.

Al Wyse

We came to see the bats of Austin and we joined the party at the bridge. How many people can stand on and below is a question left to someone more clever than me. It was amazing to see. The bat viewing experience is best if you go to watch the people who watch the bats. From young families to oldsters there are so many stories. The bats on our night did show for some who waited patiently. Only after the crowds thinned did they come out in force in the dark. Without a great camera to capture and slow down their motion it is like watching humming birds in the dark. The experience was great fun.

Amanda Wilson

What a force of nature. For over one half hour straight, one and a half million bats took off at dusk at around 7:45 pm under the Congress Avenue bridge. We stood under the bridge, but you can also stand on the bridge. This display of nature takes place every evening as the bats forage for food for their young. It is amazing to see. Don't miss the experience.

S LOVELL

Beautiful place, second time I've visited and the bats never came out.

Wendy Krout

Went on the Bat cruise. Loved it

Kevin Ball

Some friends suggested that we stop by the bridge at sunset to see all the bats that come out to eat at night. There were so many bats zipping around everywhere looking for dinner. There were people in the lake on kayaks watching them from the water and there were some on top of the bridge and below the bridge. All of the locations were great to see the bats.

Heather Choi

This is the place to be to see the bats fly out every evening in the spring and summer time. Be sure to be there early to get a good spot and be on the left hand side of the bridge. Get there even earlier to grab dinner or a drink in one of the super close by restaurants and bars.

Jennifer Sonora

Loved it! Super AFFORDABLE! Great views, just an all around good time!

Rekoj 58

Beautiful for a walk and breeze. Great view of lake and Capital of Texas. A sight to see.

Tony West

Beautiful view of the Colorado River in Gorgeous AUSTIN, But damnit..no bats once again..Oh well..next time

Ramsay Snow

More than a million bats come out during the span of a few hours. It's amazing to see. They all fly south, creating a huge black line of bats in the sky.

Rachelle Lehan

Absolutely beautiful views. If you are there to see the bats you'll want to get there a little early to snag a spot along the railing, but also have a ton of patience. The bats come out when they are good and ready

Sabrin Rammell

The perfect spot to see the bats come out at night! Make sure you are there about 15 minutes before sundown!

steve jeter

Bats are pretty interesting. Thousands all over. Gets really packed

Vanessa Michelle Shanahan

The views are amazing! The bats were so wonderful to watch, definitely worth the trip and time. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Cédric HAOUY

Very nice play to see 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats that roost under the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge comprise the largest urban bat colony in the world.

Jon Villegas

It's more than a bridge, this is the location where you will find the largest urban bat colony in North America. Between 750,000 and 1.5 million bats fly out near dusk almost every night between April and October. Great place to see some awesome bats do their thing. Had a great time but expect a crowd of you come at night. Also if u have a chair, bring it and set up on the hill below the bridge for the best view!

Tori W.

This area needed some cleaning, but it was cool to hear the bats and watch the birds in the daytime.

Connie Spieker

So cool to see the bats even though they went the other way!
