Lovely place to walk around for a bit. Parking is a little tricky because the only parking lot is 30 minute parking.

It's a great place for people who enjoy trail hiking! There are various short trails that are all interconnected, and all lead to different views of the ocean, beach, and/or chasm! Beginning hikers to Expert hikers will all love this place! For those who enjoy rock climbing there are some good natural rock walls. Also for those brave enough, you can descend the rocks by the ocean, and enter into the chasm to a hidden rock beach area. Also, there's a bridge over the chasm that has a Lover's Lock Gate, so it's a good place for couples looking to do something new and romantic together. If you're bringing small children then watch them at all times, because in order to preserve this natural wonder there are no gates or anything drilled into the rock to prevent them from going over the edge.

Sweeping views, beach, ocean and beyond. Breathtaking. There are no signs warning of uneven terrain, and steep slopes. Tread carefully and take it all in!!

Very fun place. Tons of mosquitos so use lots of repellant. Short hike but rocky so wear appropriate shoes. Has an ice cream truck outside the entrance which is nice, and a playground for kids which is great.

This has stunning views of the ocean along with the chasm itself which is very narrow. The waterfall was dry when we went, but the bridge is cute and I can see this can be dangerous if you get too close to the edge

Beautiful cliffs & views of the beach/ocean. Walkable down to the bridge over the chasm for those less able-bodied explorers. You can, with some caution, easily walk down the cliff to the beach, too. Lots of fun.

Please be careful of the uneven ground. Be very careful where you step. With that said, this place is one of the most beautiful spots see the surf here in Rhode Island. The road curves down suddenly, revealing a cliffside view of the waves sweeping and across the beach. Always a beautiful sight! Quick little hike under an hour if you want to rush it. Don't recommend sneakers they will get dirty and you won't grip some areas of the chasm

Cool place to visit when in Newport, nothing you can really make a day of, but worth a quick visit. The views are quite lovely and the cliffs are actually a perfect place to sit down and enjoy the view, which can certainly extend your stay if you choose to. It can be a dangerous place, so watch yourself and keep an eye on any children, a step off the trail or a slip in the wrong place could result in injury or death.
