One of the best and eclectic car collections I've had the pleasure of viewing. Gunther the owner was gracious and chatted with me for quite a while about his collection. Well worth the $18 to get in. I highly recommend this museum if you are a car enthusiast.

Brought my 1 year old and we cruised the place checking out all the amazing cars from new to old. Great thing to do in the winter. Probably was there for 90min to 2 hrs. For parents of young ones: - Stroller friendly space. Worth bringing in for when your kids start deciding they wanna touch all the cars but can't (inevitable) - No food service (other than a vending machine) - No changing table in the rest rooms - Comfy seating throughout the museum to rest in or to spin your kids in :) - Ample and convenient parking

The most beautiful auto museum I've attended next to the Petersen in L.A.. A great collection of automobiles for every taste (classics, exotics, muscles). The rooms dedicated to Caroll Shelby and the Corvette are beautiful. If you're a car lover it is a must-see.

I thought it would be a little more interactive. Basically you can just look at cars from about 2 feet away (don't touch the stages lol). The cars were pretty cool but it just wasn't worth the price I don't think.

This place is pretty amazing. I'm not a die hard car guy, mainly went for my father in-law, but it was an awesome museum. The organization of the cars was logical. The placards had enough information to give context and scope of the car but didn't require a lot of time spent reading. The staff was super helpful but not overbearing.

I’m going to start this off with, I’m not a car fan. Since my husband and son went on the mansion tours, my daughter and I agreed to go with them to this car museum. I wasn’t expecting much, but I must say, we had a wonderful time. The employees are so nice and helpful. The cars were actually a nice mix of different styles, different years, etc. The simulator is so cool, choose any car, any track. And don’t forget to go to the gift shop. There are some really unique items inside. I would go again, highly recommend for families

The cars on display are, for lack of better terms...awesome! And the museum is fantastic, although the simulator is outdated. Just don’t bring your service animal because, the staff will make you feel unwelcome, debatably breaking the Americans With Disabilities Act.

A MUST ! A MUST ! A MUST MUSEUM ! Forget 5 stars I would give it a 10 !!! The car collection is a jaw dropping, mouth watering, can't believe what I'm seeing collection. It's a collection from one gentleman. The Museum itself is immaculate, very clean, and the layout is perfect. It also has a collection of antique imported , unique chair collection from the collectors wife.I can't say enough about the staff, they were like family, from the gentleman at the front desk to the informative gentleman in the showroom and the very lovely lady in the gift shop. They were all very nice people. We will be back with family and friends. Absolutely beautiful and incredible ! A MUST !

Very Kid's friendly! Amazing place to take your kid who is obsessed with cars especially Lamborghinis...lol! I was worried that my Son would be tempted to touch and trying to get on the cars but the guys over there kindly explained him why he could just seen, answer all his questions that came out of his imagination...lol! I was very pleased by their patience with kids... The price was also right and worth it and cheaper than a fast food meal! I definitely recommend it, I will definitely come back with my other big kid, (my husband) he missed it this time...

This may have been the best collection of cars I have ever seen. There is a huge variety of cars in mint condition. The price is great and you also get to use the simulator they have for free. The collection of furniture is almost as interesting as the cars. If you're a car enthusiast this museum is a must see!

I loved the friendly staff, the collection is wonderful from a 50's caddy to a 2 thousands Hellcat. It is a beautiful collection of mustang's and I loved the foreign car collection including Lamborghini and Jaguar. I will be visiting again next season.

Great car museum to visit. We happened to visit on a rainy day which was nice. Great selection of cars to admire and learn about. They have a variety of cars from domestics to foreign. Nice facility for car enthusiasts. They even have a room where racing simulators are set up. You get 1 race with your paid admission.

Visited for the first time on Father's Day 6/17/18....what an incredible place! Absolutely loved it. Unbelievable selection of cars, clean, organized. Quite apparent that these cars were/are used and enjoyed, but also loved (taken very good care of!!) - plenty of places to sit and relax to just look around and enjoy the view. Informational videos to watch in each section, and signs next to each car that tell you history through current. I would definitely go again!

This is a great place to see amazing cars. I wish this museum existed when I was a kid, but happy it exists now. The price is similar to other car museums I have been to around the country. They have lots of cars and was much more enjoyable then the Audrain Auto Museum down the road. I have been 3 times now and they seem to keep adding to the collection. I also went to a dinner event at this museum and it made a great setting for the gala I attended. The staff are also very friendly and knowledgeable. This is a museum so you do need to be respectful and not touch cars or the staff will be less friendly, but remember its a museum. Would you touch the paintings at the Louvre?

I’m not a car person but my husband is. We both really enjoyed it. The museum is well laid out with six galleries featuring nearly 80 cars. The cars span the decades, some are on turning displays, and all are well lit with key facts and highlights displayed with each vehicle. There’s also a driving simulator which is pretty neat and a gift shop as well. We spent about two hours inside.

This automotive museum is a welcome surprise. The collection may not be as big as some but it contains an extensive collection of some stunning vehicles. The European selection is suburb and Shelby selection is not only extensive but inspiring in its depth. There is so much more but do yourself a favour and pay a visit.

Visited this museum on a recent trip to the area. I was impressed with the large variety of cars and how they were displayed. The museum staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The museum is divided into multiple halls, each with their own theme laid out on a plaque at the entrance to it. Each car has its own plaque explaining some of its statistics and some interesting history. Photography is encouraged, I ate through an entire battery going through the exhibits. According to staff and their website they also have the occasional car show or other event, which would make the cost of entry even more worth it.

An impressive collection of cars of different types and eras: European high level sports cars, Corvettes, Shelby mustangs, and muscle cars of the 60s and 70s up through the present. Each car was a superb example of its type with many being one of only a handful made. The staff are very friendly and willing to talk cars with you. This is a museum I will return to again and again even though I live an hour and a half away.

Car enthusiasts will drool! Awesome collection of cars in categories such as international, Corvettes, Shelby Mustang, fin cars, muscle, and Mopar. There is a room with similators so you can drive the car of your dreams. The staff are very informative and you are free to look up close, take pictures but just don't touch! It was a great way to spend a rainy day. Easy 2-3 hour visit and for all ages.

I was driving around the area and spotted this museum. I must say I wasn't expecting the wonderful cars that I saw. I've been to several car museums and I must say this is, if not the best, one of the top three I've ever been to. Everything is sublime, from the car's selection to the way they are presented, the attention to detail, the cleanliness, the lighting, everything was superb and well worth the $18. My only wonder is why they don't have any classic VW's, Fiats, Alfa Romeos or Minis but I'm sure it's just a matter of time before they add more cars to their collection. I will definitely return with some friends who are also car enthusiasts.

A nice layout this is someone who decided to take his collection of cars and turn it into a museum last at 75 vehicles with 5 more coming in. The years range from the early 50s and up with race simulators and a indoor miniature golf more plans for expansion in the future family oriented.

Very nice collection with a significant focus on American automotive history ranging from the 1950s to contemporary. Each year we do family vacation in different parts of the U.S. and always incorporate at least one car museum into the itinerary. This is now our second favorite car museum, with the Petersen in Los Angeles ranking first. Well worth the cost. The collection is impressive, and the exhibit is quite stylish. Our 3-hour jaunt through the collection was enjoyable for the entire family, including my wife. As a Shelby Mustang owner, I was impressed with the Ford Mustang and Shelby collection.

The Newport Car Museum is absolutely first rate. Fantastic collection of cars in a beautiful facility and presented with great context that outlines the historical significance of each model presented. Especially interesting for those that love exotics from European racing heritage, Big three American racing and muscle, as well as just gorgeous examples from the tail fin era. I was hesitant when I saw the relatively high entrance fee. But the exhibit was so well put together, I’d pay it again.

A real gem. I’m not a complete motor head, but I really enjoyed this distinguished collection of Shelbys, Mustangs, Corvettes, Cadillacs and old Chrysler 300s (dozens of foreign exotics as well), each well selected and presented. This is new facility with friendly staff, convenient parking and plenty of space (not a crowded, claustrophobic showroom). $18 is a bit steep for a car museum, but I suppose it’s not cheap making all these fine acquisitions.

Took my 2 boys here because they love cars, especially the sporty, exotic ones. They had a blast checking out the "Lambos" and Shelbys, especially. You can get up close to the vehicles, just no touching! Afterwards we had fun shopping in the gift shop. I even got an early Father's Day present. Perfect stop for anyone who loves or appreciates vehicles. Don't forget to make a stop to try out the simulators, which put you behind the wheel of many awesome cars. It's included with the price of admission. The event space looked very nice. Chic and modern, but also classic with a digital jukebox in there.

I took my husband here one weekend as a surprise, he likes cars and I like museums, the staff was friendly and helpful. The cars are well maintained although I was surprised to see mud on the inside of the tire well on the one sports car. Other than that it was very tidy, organized and clean.

I was very excited to come visit the car museum but our visit ended right at the door. We have a service dog and we asked if she was okay and we were told rudely "not really" by a older gentleman. No signs were posted saying no dogs allowed. Just wish it wasnt a rude first experience. Hopefully we can make it back.

An incredible experience with some of the nicest cars ever produced from rare to jaw dropping this place had it all and it was a great experience. The vollunteer staff is also extremely helpful and informative. Definitely recommend if you have the time, I would allow at least one and a half to two hours, more if you really want to check it all out in depth.

Swear to God that the cars were smiling, everything was pristine...clean, dust free, polished to perfection. Took a lot of videos but I did snap miss incredible picture. Definitely do not pass up an opportunity to visit the Newport Car Museum. I will be going to the other location in the coming months. ❤️

Dream cars! What an incredible collection! The collection is mostly muscle cars with some 1950s fin cars. Any car lover has dreamed of even owning just one of these gems. It was quite a pleasure to see these cars and dream a little bit. I've been to plenty of car shows and I've never seen such rare and amazing cars as these. The hoods were down when I went, but I was told that they have the hoods up on some weekends, oh, I'll just have to go back. I didn't read too much of the signage so I went through it in two hours. $18 was a fair admission price. A driving simulator was included in the admission fee. It was a nice fun thing to add to the experience. The cars are all part of a private collection by just one owner, Gunther Buerman. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing collection with the public!

I went to the museum on Tuesday, October 2nd and found it to be a truly first class facility. The vehicles are presented in an engaging manner and I appreciated the ability to get very close to some of the finest vehicles in their respective categories. The facility is immaculate and the accompanying art work and video presentations are excellent and augment the pristine vehicles. This is a must visit for any car buff and will also be enjoyed by anyone with even the slightest interest in seeing some of the greatest vehicles made in the USA and the world.

This place is insanity. 15 bucks for students and you get just about the most important car collection on the north east, featuring an insane and REAL Shelby Cobra. And experienced a racing simulator at the end on the house! Definitely a must see for anyone.

You can tell the owner has a genuine passion for not only the vehicles but the way in which you experience them. The staff is super friendly and has knowledge of the vehicles as well. Honestly you feel like some how you got access to something you shouldn't be allowed to see. It is really that nice.

Meh, just go to a cars & coffee near you. Same price and likely more variety. Otherwise it was cool, a birthday or work meeting there would be more fun than average if the entire group appreciates cars

A real treasure, as much a history museum as an auto museum. Ill be going back. A car nut can’t absorb it all in one visist. Staff is temendous to, not watchfull but always at a comfortable distance for questions. Very accomodating, gift shop, driving simulators, and they take your jacket at the door!

Baby and stroller friendly automobile museum with plenty of seating. Clean, well organized and every car had a plaque with information. Can easily spend many hours here. Car simulator is Forza 6 in a simulation setup, which was a welcome break and plenty of fun. Would highly recommend a visit if you're looking to take a break from walking through musty old mansions further south.

This was a great day and money well spent I learned alot like I will never fit in a Lamborghini, there is a ford out there I like (2015 gt 350) and just because the gift shop is in a car museum it doesn't have to sell car related products lol had a great time cant wait for the McLaren to get there I'll go back soon with my grandchildren!

Wow! What a fantastic museum! We were driving by and saw this new museum (opened 2 years ago) and since it was a cold, rainy, April day, we stopped in. Adult admission is $18 and that is a bargain for the stunning display that you will see at the Newport Car Museum. Photography is allowed and the photo ops are amazing with the variety of car colors & lighting. The graphic displays on the walls enhance the experience along with cool mid century furniture throughout the large viewing areas. Multiple rooms group various car types (world cars, MOPAR, Corvette, Shelby/Mustang, Fins) with detailed descriptions for the cars on display. They have a large event space (need to find a reason to have a party there!) and they also have indoor golf (we didn’t check out that area). Staff is great, offering insights on the cars & how the museum was started. Fun for all ages & genders!! #PlumCrazy #MyFavorite

We spent the afternoon here with our 14 year old grandson. The display of old and new cars was impressive. The museum is set up very nicely, clean, pleasant staff. There were some amazing cars here. Definitely geared towards performance vehicles which is what attracted me in the first place. I must say a couple of the vehicles took my breath away. Definitely recommended. They let you use a driving simulator as well.
