Beautiful secluded beach away from the crowds. Water was clear and clean. Lots of area to explore and beautiful views. Free 2 hour parking on the street in watch hill or pay $35-$40 to park in a lot. It's a bit of a walk to get on the beach but worth it. No rest rooms close so be prepared.

Beautiful scenic ocean view hike. THE LOOP around the peninsula is breath taking. the path is both sandy and rocky beach so proper footwear is a must. It can be a little crowded at times so if you like seclusion this might not be the place for you but all the people I came across were very friendly.

It is absolutely gorgeous their! If you are going to go, there is a old abandoned fort at the end of the point. There are tiger and horseshoe crabs and many seagulls. Be careful around them, they will steal untended food.

Beautiful beach and coastal preserve. Great spot for sunsets or a quiet beach experience. Dogs are permitted after 630 pm from May 1 through Labor Day. Dogs are permitted all day during the rest of the year.

Best sunset beach in Rhode Island! You have to walk all the way out to the point and sit on the rocks for the best views. Bring a flashlight because you will be walking back in the dark. But it is totally worth it!

Great place for birding (especially shorebird at the lagoon) and swimming. The harbor side has a very gradual entry and is very calm. The ocean side can be much rougher. You can only park for 2 hours in the free lot.

Be careful as there is no parking facility and local people will charge 40 USD for allowing to park your car. Also there is a fee to enter the beach. The place is beautiful but not having the facilities that other beach has (parking and restrooms) make this spot not worth it.

I was discriminated for having a service dog. He wouldn't even look at my paper work. My dog was doing nothing wrong. We were walking on the beach About a mile down when the same guy walks as the way down there to kick us off the beach. He is blow walking behind us like criminals to make sure we leave. Never again.

Beautiful spot but no maintenance and no trash cans so people can't even clean up after others and trash that washes up. Weirdest of all it the beach next door which charges admission. $9 per person. I always thought that the ocean was public but I guess I was wrong per usual.

Very nice beach. Sand was quite fine. Water was rather warm then again I'm used to the waters off of Maine and NH. Only issue is walking from the public parking area which costs $40 for the day but you don't have much choice as all the other parking is reserved or two hours max.

This place is stupendously spectacular. We went here on President's Day weekend, and it was great. It's about a 1.5 mile walk out to the edge, with great views all around. At the base of the peninsula, there are a couple of small dunes you can climb to get a better view. At the point, you can also get some good views. Overall, a wonderful place to come to and enjoy the beach.

This place is a real treasure. The water on the oceanside is gorgeous, and it's so wonderful that boats can anchor out in the bayside and folks can come right to shore. So many people make beach art there that is absolutely impressive. There's a lot of conservation work going on out there, and it's nice to see.

This is an amazing beach in Rhode Island and outstanding natural area. I only go in the off-season when parking is easier, dogs are allowed on the beach, and when it is less busy. It makes for an awesome winter walk. The beach is super clean and the waves are pretty dramatic. The fort at the end is hard to get to and really not worth looking for it. Watch out for ticks when passing by the dune grass on your way to the beach.

One of the most beautiful places in Rhode island. Almost hidden away in downtown Watch Hill. You are able to walk on the Bayside or the Oceanside. Never as crowded as misquamicut. Occasionally the spot a seal sunning on the beach. At the end of Napatree Point there is Fort Mansfield.

This beach is an enjoyable stroll away from the pier and offers a relatively secluded spot to escape from the main drag with great views of the water and even better waves. And even better, this is a dog friendly beach in the winter and evenings! Definitely worth a trip out, and don't forget to stop to get ice cream before you go!
