There are over 3,000 knives and swords here in excellent condition. The owner has been collecting them since he was a boy around WWII. He is extremely knowledgeable and had a story about every knife I asked about. Highly recommend visiting!

Unbelievable collection of edge weapons! The owner was very informative and seemed to enjoy answering questions. I got some great information on Pikes from the War Between the States.

This little museum packs more amazing exhibits per square foot of floor space than any other military museum I have ever visited. I had the pleasure of spending time with the owner Mr. Larry Thomas. A WWII veteran of the Army Air Forces with time on the B-17 bomber, it was a pleasure getting to know this man who did so much to preserve and share this important part of American martial arms history. If you are a student of American military history from the Civil War to the Middle East, then you need to see this place, it is a real gem.

This museum is very unique and definitely worth the $5 to get in. Although it is a small place, it is packed full of amazing historical items. The gentleman that owns the shop can tell you the history of most all of the things in the museum, and from what I learned most all of it is his personal collection, or gifts from veterans. He talked to us for quite a while and told us many amazing stories about different artifacts he had. As a history nerd and teacher I high recommend a visit when in the area.

Quaint and delightful, this little gem of a museum sits tucked between two major roads, and occupies a building originally used as a bank (original vault door still there) - and the walls are loaded to the ceiling with all kinds of edged weapons -- knives, swords, hatchets, axes, bayonets, etc), as well as several firearms from US military history. There is a small gift shop where you can buy a few small memorabilia items.

This is an amazing display of edged weapons through multiple time periods from the French and Indian war to the Vietnam War. I would definitely recommend anyone in the area interested in the topic to check it out.

Thank you for perserving the history of the military through out the ages! This is a small museum but very educational!

Hours on the door are wrong! I know this is a great place. My brother was here and told me about it. But it was not open. The suggested hours of 1 till 4 are probably better. I guess I'll be back the next time I'm in the area. May be a couple years :(

Mark Watt

Phenomenal experience! Huge collection of, not only swords and knives but, guns and other treasures. The owner and curator is a WE II Veteran with a wealth of knowledge. Visiting with him was worth more than the $5 entrance fee. Great Experience!!!

Thomas Olsen

Very interesting. Many pieces spanning the eras of American Military.

David Calhoun

Entry is only $5 and I was shocked to know that this was once a private collection in the owner's home. Both Mr and Mrs Thomas were knowledgeable and answered all questions. I also discovered that he was originally from NC much like myself. Whether your into knives, swords, or just war artifacts this is a must see! Definitely worth the price, time, and trip. We could've spent hours just talking with the owners!

Basilio Mendoza

Had a lot of military weapons on display, my son loved it so much that even though it isn't a large museum we spent over an hour looking around. The man on staff was very knowledgeable and answered all questions that my son had. Great experience.

Angie Duran

Wished we could’ve entered this museum. But it was closed on a Thursday, loved the outdoors here anyway and had to stop just to check it all out. There seems like lots to see but places are closed or shut down early. Not the best way to attract history buffs like us. Love this community.
