You will see the information of real people who are consuming the services of Willamette National Forest (Tourist Attraction) near to the state of Oregon.
As of day the firm has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 and this score was based on 3964 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is nearly the best one, and it's based on a very large number of scores, so we can conclude that the evaluation is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to give their feddback when they are pleased, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put opinions when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Tourist Attraction is included in the category of National forest.
Its always an enjoyable experience.
Great place to relax, hike and explore trails and experience nature. On this occasion it was a target shooting adventure with my kiddos to try out my son's new rifle at an old abandoned rock quarry.
This is one of the best places to go hiking in the northwest of Oregon. There are several good trails which have either a water feature or a vista. Some of the gated logging roads can be good hikes because they a seldom used.
Works better than any anti depressants!
Great location for tourists and locals alike. Plenty of hiking trails and clean rivers/lakes that make for a great photo op.
It is a really nice area this time of year hiking the PCT
Love the riparian path and the old trails!!
Beautiful, hot Springs were a bit crowded.
Absolutely beautiful, I will be there next spring for sure
Gorgeous sites! Had a great time hiking with friends. Would love to go back.
Breathtaking. A ton of locations to see & explore
Beautiful scenery. Many trails. Gorgeous lake.
Well maintained trails. The bathroom needs to be pumped out. Most of the signage and maps were rapped in plastic.
Great place to explore FS roads, sno-parks, and OHV trails for a dualsport
Beautiful! Don't forget to get your pass before you go.
This place is awesome and beautiful. My family went here to get a Christmas tree. It's amazing. You just pay like $5 for a permit and then you get to go out to the woods and pick out your own tree and cut it down. It's an awesome experience and way more fun than just picking one out at a tree farm.
Never gonna say something bad about a forest.
Nice place... I was went there for very few time...
Always enjoy hiking here.
So much hiking. The nature is unreal. Camping can be tough to find, so plan ahead.
Breath taking, and what a fun race. From Salem to Sisters over two passes. There are passing lanes, but you should have fun passing as many as you can.
Great place to visit. Waldo lake amazing
Great place been going there since I was a little girl 34 years now love everything about it the beauty the serenity and a great place to chillax thank you Detroit Oregon your free off-road camping is absolutely wonderful clean and beautiful sights Detroit rocks
Had the greatest camping trip with my kids. So much to see and do in the woods.
This was amazing trip on Waldo lookout mountain had a run in with two black bears but we let them do what they wanted an we went on our way went to the peak and had the best view in the state loved it will return.
Road Amtrak through there , very nice trip during spring . Would have been better if I would have had a little extra cash to enjoy dinner in the dining car.
I have been in several of their locations. They are all kept very clean and have nice amenities. I have been in national parks in other parts of the country where you were afraid to use the outhouse not here. However we all have to do our part.
Fantastically well maintained and very informative signage and staff.
Superbly kept natural beauty and excellent views. Lots of places to pull off and get a few pictures. There is only a teo lane highway so plan on going the speed limit with only a few opportunities to pass slower vehicles on the way.
Just driving through but a really beautiful place with lots of recreational areas.
Beautiful trails great exercise
What is there not to love about national forests? I stayed here on the way to California from Washington, nice shady place.
This place is amazing but dangerous. Steep mountain canyon. Spotty service. 20ish dry camping spots around road 2118.
It's really hard to say anything negative about this place. It's the quintessential Oregon experience.
Gorgeous trails, waterfalls, dogs allowed on leashes.
Old country setting with a lot of history. Had that old musty smell. Not from being dirty. Just that old smell.
Maxwell Butte snowshoeing was a great trek in a loop that included a stop at a shelter where folks had formed snow castles and snowmen. With no new snow, we didn't have to blaze trails, and most of the people we saw were just going in, so we didn't feel crowded. It was wonderful sunshine that showed off the mountains in their snow blankets. Loved it!
I went up fall creek today and what a beautiful drive! The leaves have fallen and it exposes the true contour of the country side! Very quiet and peaceful out there and with the rain finally coming down just about every corner has a stream or waterfall coming off the hill side! Get out and enjoy this land we are so fortunate to have right out our back door!
Park at the summit on 58 at night. The stars are amazing!
The most amazing first I've ever seen.
Haven't seen any deer but the scenery is fantastic.
Drive thru here on my way to bend Oregon to my companys hq, (flatbed trucker) and wow... spectacular and amazing. Yall have some amazing views out here.
Some of the best Oregon has to offer...
Great camping. When you can find a spot. Shooting and fishing its amazing place to be at.
Beautiful drive, lots of lovely camping sites.
Beautiful, gentle hike snuggled along a scenic drive.
I love being out in nature.
This is the worst forest you will find anywhere. We had a run-in with some hillbilly locals that held us captive and did stuff to us for days. Also the wasps and mosquitoes are fierce. Our son contracted malaria and my daughter was rushed to the ICU from an allergic reaction to the stings causing respiratory distress. While hiking back from our hellish week in the Willamette Forest we encountered large boulders being hurled at us from an unknown source. I can only guess that it was from the illusive Bigfoot that so many people see while visiting this horrible place. My recommendation is to save yourself some time and spare the lives of your loved ones and never visit this awful place. You'll thank me.
McKenzie River is very beautiful.. The rapids are glacier blue.
Wonderful camping spots! Detroit lake for beach time in close vicinity and lots of awesome river and creek spots! Even a hidden hole with a rope swing into the river if ya can find it!(its upstream from the lake!) :)
Beautiful and not too many people! Go early in the session but prepare for snow. There was about 10 feet of snow closer to opal pool
This section of the PCT, is absolutely amazing and relatively uncrowded
As a national parks photographer, this is a stop that never fails to impress.
Went hunting in the Sisters area, Potato Hill and Big Lake areas. Beautiful, and it snowed overnight.
It's going to go down it's beautiful
Awesome day out exploring!
Great place to check out if you're in the area
Quick stopover on I-5 with a restroom and visitors center. One of the women's restrooms was specifically for handicapped people. Typical rest area facilities. Small metal toilets that auto flush. There are no towels, only hand dryers. It's an easy off & back on to the highway. There is parking for cars, and trucks.
Plz take care of the Earth that's all we have left. Without it we are now Homeless.
Walking around was amazing. Had some hilly areas and flat marsh lands to enjoy. The stump house was epic too!
Very friendly rangers, great place for pets and kids. We loved it
Beautiful country especially this time of year with all the colors, but you have to be prepared for all types of emergencies when going.
Hot spring. It was quiet until the afternoon. Did see some clothing deficient folks in the spring. I wouldn't take my kids there but someone brought their five year old. People we're respectful tho.
This has to be one of my favorite places to camp! I wish I still lived in Oregon because this place is so beautiful! Fresh air trees and the sound of wildlife! Couldn't ask for a better place to sit back and enjoy nature! God how I miss oregon!! Definitely going to have to take a vacation and revisit this place to reminisce all the great memories!
Great place Catch and Release only trout fishing on dry fly or lower no bait
The forest es wonderfull looking ground
Black canyon is beautiful. Campground is well run. It's really to bad they lost so many trees in the storm last winter.
So many magical outdoor things to do. Sight seeing, hiking, picnicking, camping, exploring, water play, fishing, educational, and beautiful
It is so peaceful and tranquil up there. Its a nice escape close to home.
Didnt visit the park road work was going on.
Quiet. Compared to other cascade hikes, there isn't much views, but felt far more private.
I moved away from Oregon. Most of my family still resides there though. When I go to visit though. I prefer the forest to their company. I always make it a point to come out here and see all the cool trails and waterfalls. If the forest ever made me choose between my family and itself. Forest wins hands down! So many super cool things to see out here. Come explore it!
It is named a forest. Has lots of trees, water, critters. Pretty much have to go 5 here.
This area is so peaceful. You can go anywhere and have solitude. Great camping spots and clean.
Rode through on Amtrak, very scenic park!
Google maps ruined it took us to nowhere! And said we were at Phantom bridge, worst part was we knew better!
Great place to take your whole family
Would go again. It's beautiful
Beautiful nature, get out into it as often as you can.
Great trails for hiking and running.
Its beautiful, Quite, and peaceful.
Beautiful area. Sadly ALL camp sites were taken. We ended up camping in the Sno Park just south of the Koosah Falls/Ice Cap campground. Turns out there are a lot of relatively accessible roads leading back into the lava flow area. The camping was true camping. No services of any kind but we did stock up on water at Ice Cap campground before we arrived.
Very nice place to take in the vibrant landscape.
I love camping up there mostly to see trains
Iron mountain 34 miles east of Sweet Home, Or is one of our favorite hikes. The wild flowers and the amazing views from up on high is so worth the effort. I think mid-July is ideal time to hike Iron Mountain
Beautiful views of the south sister and Green lake, and it's even better from the top.
Love love love this forest! Take a day in at direction for explore somewhere incredible.
Beautiful area, great views, very good roads.
Public land please treat it like it's yours.
Best place to hang out! But if you’re there to commit a crime go somewhere else!
This place is amazing great prices, great communication and Good vibe. Would recament for all your exhaust break or even oil needs,
Love this place. Beautiful in every way.
Willamette National Forest is an incredible place to visit for rustic camping. It's "off the beaten path" while still being close enough for a long weekend. There are plenty of driveable roads leading to high, mountain vistas, lakes and crystal-clear rivers. I go back over and over to experience what camping used to be. If you want to get away from crowded, noisy, developed campgrounds (which are NOT real camping), this place will never disappoint. I am able to pull into many dispersed sites with a medium-sized trailer or motorhome and stay for several days at a time without being disturbed. It's a great way to escape city living and just recharge. (What can beat falling asleep to the sound of a river, instead of traffic or noisy people in the next campsite?) Be prepared to go without cell service. That's a plus for me, but not as positive for some folks. Also plan ahead for meals since town may be many miles away AND very expensive.
The Mountain Rain running off a beautiful waterfall
Great time hiking through and picking Huckleberry's! Found frogs, lava rock, Huckleberry's, thimble berries, wild strawberries, and much more. Suggest wearing boots and pants to protect from the brush. Made memories and will go back again.
Beautiful hard to beat scenery. Went several places while here. Always enjoy this type of country.
Peaceful, powerful, and absolutely a place that makes you at ease and breathless.
Lovely piece of land healing to thee soul
This was a great hike with amazing views!!
There is nowhere as beautiful as this forest. Grew up here and sharing its beauty with my kids.
Beautiful here. Very tall trees covered with moss and ferns. Thick forest, rivers and lakes throughout the canyons and over the pass. Lots of campgrounds and trails.
Great little walk with a beautiful destination
Better than I imagined
Great area for mountain biking, hiking, and camping. Beautiful, stunning mountains covered in thick pines and criss-crossed by crystal clear rivers.
No matter what the weather is like it is a fun hike with beautiful scenery. My two dog's love the trails and the fresh water.
Two falls on McKenzie River within a short hike along the river.
Very popular rest stop ! Great for dogs to run around! Has nice greenery .
This picture was taken 6 miles North of Detroit, OR. Next to the Breitenbush River. There are many free, primitive sites in the forest. Be safe. Don't litter.
Like fishing the mini lakes. Can be fun when the water is colder, about 64 and 10' right now.
Beautiful and majestic!! Great trails for hiking trails along the McKenzie river! The water falls are all amazing!
Beautiful. A nice drive for sure and be sure to bring cash for day use areas.
Great fishing lots of fun for kids and the dog
If you love the outdoors then you can't go wrong here. I'm a outdoors person so of course I guess my opinion is bias lol but I love the beauty of this forest. Thick with trees and views of mountains are very relaxing to me. And of course Detroit Lake is always a great water recreation stop.
Willamette National Forest = Magic! I recommend visiting! It'll improve your life. But don't take my word for it, go try for yourself!! Just please, PLEASE, take whatever you bring back home with you!!
Leg room, consession , bathrooms, shade available all over
We only saw the view from the road but it was still beautiful.
We always love it here.
Absolutely beautiful and worth the drive from any direction!
Absolutely a beautiful National Forest to visit. Great day trails to hike, trails are well maintained and range from short trails to hike to the more challenging trails. Views are beautiful along hikes, highly recommend.
Beautiful place to stop along and get pictures. Have used it for photoshoots a handful of times and it has never disappointed. Nice to get out into the wild and enjoy nature, and the river is a great place to do so.
Such an a amazing place to visit, play, hike, ski, snowboard and drive a quad. I've spent several days and nights here and just love the scenery. Some amazing quad trails that are extremely unique. Maybe I shouldn't post this so the secret isn't out. Hoodoo offers some great trails which doesn't kill a family with the cost like other ski resorts. Now they offer night skiing which encompasses almost the whole mountain. That's unheard of.
Great for getting away from it all. Beauty and wildnerness... love it
Fun place to stop by and rest
The blue green water is amazing. Don't expect to catch many fish. There are a few small stocked rainbows downstream - nothing up near Opal Creek (at least that we could find)
The park was beautiful! The rangers came by on our second day camping and asked if everything was going well or if we had any questions for them. They were out picking up garbage from other campsites that had been used by inconsiderate guests. It was just gorgeous and quiet and the camping was free.
Great place not far from the coty either. Easy drive. AND THERE ARE BLACKBERRIES EVERYWHERE.
beautiful, always green every season. great paths and waterfalls.
We hiked the Triangulation Peak trail. If your looking for a trail with incredible vistas and a small natural cave this is the one for you.
Just a beautiful area no matter where you go. I've been to many area of the forest so this review is, in a way, kind of pointless. One area is different from another yet still beautiful. There are forest service roads everywhere to explore. You don't necessarily have to go one to see the beauty though. If you do just be sure you have your basic emergency items and a vehicle that can handle it. Pay attention to your driving. I've seen cars being towed back onto the road because of carelessness when driving. Some of the roads are very steep and you will not be able to climb them without 4wheel drive. There are also rock slides that will leave fairly large rocks in the road so watch out for those. PLEASE do not leave your trash there and police your shotgun shells and casings if you are shooting. Also pay attention to the fire dangers levels and bans. There is a *lot* of hogsweed so be careful not to touch it.
beutiful lakes and watet ways
This place is beautiful, it has many water falls and lots to hike oh and you can get lost there if you'd like lol
Beautiful. I always love driving up the McKenzie. Seeing the Salmon spawning was a treat!
Awesome park! Real busy but worth it! Walk ways that go behind the waterfalls. Great hike!
This place is amazing, breathtaking scenery, everywhere you looked look like a picture taken out of a book it was absolutely gorgeous
This forest is home to some BEAUTIFUL Oregon landmarks. Speed limit 65. Check out the sisters, Mt.Jefferson, Diamond peak, the Coffin Mountain lookout, Gold butte lookout, Salt creek Falls, Diamond Creek Falls, etc. You can spend weeks here and not cover everything!
There is nothing more peaceful than taking a drive out into our beautiful forests! Seriously if you are having a bad day just get in your vehicle and take a drive through the beautiful woods its amazing!
Great area for mountain biking, hiking, and camping. Beautiful, stunning mountains covered in thick pines and criss-crossed by crystal clear rivers. Gets a bit warm in the summer in the valleys but you can escape the heat in the hills.
Its mine! Stay away! We've trained wolves to eat litterbugs!
The hike to proxy waterfalls was great. The lower falls was beautiful than the upper. The upper is a easy hike and you can get near the falls.
Beautiful and well cared-for. Enjoyable just by driving through it.
Really nice forest, if you're into that sort of thing
Don't go. More room for me!
Great place to pull over get reality check
Too many awesome places to mention here...
We love hiking and exploring nature's beautiful trails.. Peaceful and rejuvenating for the soul....
peaceful and beautiful, bring bug spray though.
I love this forest! The mix of old growth and new growth, and all the different types of forests are amazing! An abundant amount of trails allows you to really explore it all!
Great spot. Beautiful place
The forest was awesome, the mud slides wiped out a lot of the trees by the roots but they did clean up as well as could be expected... Camped for a week at black canyon campground loved the trains that went by throughout the night, will totally be back there next year..!!
Incredible! Recommend horse creek road area.
Hard to rate this place so well knowing it will make it more popular but lets hear it nature! You stoked us out here. BTW down the road 20 miles yoi can even find Jojos!
Nature and the best of you refreshing your soul. Love it.
LOVE!!! One of my favorite places.
Elk Lake Resport is great! The restaurant is a bit expensive. although portions are very generous! Teeny tiny campsites for PCT hikers, but let you put as many tents as you like for only $10 a site, so you cant beat that!
Beautiful place to spend the day
Dirt worshiping, tree highers paradise.
Made me feel at ease away from the concrete jungle. Whoo
Beautiful area. Waldo Lake is pristine!
