Great views just from the parking lot. viewing platforms you can see the dunes and ocean, even with a wheelchair if you happen to need one to get around (not me, just seemed well designed for that).

Really interesting area. There's a parking lot and easy access to get to the dunes. The dunes themselves are fun to walk around on, so long as you don't trample on the plant life. It's really cool to see how sand dunes and temperate coniferous forests interact in the way they do here.

This was a really cool stop!! The boardwalks/platforms (which I apparently forgot to photograph) are amazing and a gorgeous place to look over the sand and ocean and think about life. We didn't do the hike since dogs aren't allowed on it (I think because of the snowy plover birds?).

It is a very nice area where you can loosen your feet and enjoy a very pretty view. They host a restroom not that equipped but it is surprisingly clean and well maintained. Stop here and enjoy the view! Be nice and kind, don’t litter and help keep the environment as it is! Good for kids and old people. Generous parking lot.
