You have to go to really get the scope of it. The guide was awesome, Ranger K you a boss. Even with my sprained knee I was able to get through.

Had a great tour with Ranger Niel. The perfect mix of goofy, funny and knowledge. He was great with the kids and took plenty of time to explain everything. We were greatly impressed. Everyone else we encountered were very nice and professional as well. Thank you for the great trip inside the cave! Wear a jacket and decent shoes.

John Saddler

Great guide, very informative and funny!

john wimer

This was fantastic! First time I had been there since I went at approx 8 years old. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. If I had a complaint, it would be that the over-emphasized how long and low the area were that you had to duck walk through. I don't think they were near as low or as long as staff made those parts of the cave to be. Great experience for the whole family (I took a Boy Scout Troop)

Sam Hisel

The tours are informative and give you a great cave experience. It's also not that expensive

Cesar Corsich

This is an adventure every one should try at least once. Everyone in my party was 59 to 71. It is strenuous and requires lots of bending but we all made it with only one short stop to catch our breath. The many twists and turns reveal much about the formation of our world. The guides are wonderful with tons of information to share. It may be a bit out of the way but this is the perfect family adventure. There were many children having lots of fun.

Sky Tate

Darin Cook

Cynde Tucker

Pretty neat formations. Jaguar story has to be fake LoL

Emily Ledford

It was fun. It had a spot were you can see what the cave would be like and the different species there are in the cave and learn about them too.

bill Bevan

Off-season nice and quiet

Sharon Spagel

Been 3 times and it always amazes me. The tour guides and history that each has shared made it a new experience every time. Young and old engage with questions, answers, during the tour and add humor, education, wonder, and fascination throughout the tour. It truly an amazing place to explore. It's also affordable. Dress warm and be ready for lots of stairs. It's 40 degrees in the caves and takes a good hour to get through. Maybe longer depending on group and guide. ✌

Being my first time at the Oregon Caves it was an AMAZING experience and I would defiantly go again!! Our guide was so educated and funny, she made it so much FUN for everyone!! Defiantly bring a light jacket and nothing but your phone is allowed during the tour of the caves.

Walter Saravia

Very friendly guys.

Dennis Dorsey

Cave tour was interesting. Walk was more challenging than I thought.

Frayed Hat Dog Training

Wow, what an under-rated park. I highly recommend any cave tour, but particularly the 6pm candlelit tour, to see what it was like for the first several decades of explorers to enter this elaborate cave system, armed with candle lanterns. Ranger Jackie does a great job.

Very cool cave in every sense of the word, our guide Brent told us a good amount of its history while we made our way through, watch your head though!

This was very cool, well worth the small entry fee..

Sheryl bowie

Educated staff. Very knowledgeable and attentive to keeping the spread of disease from one cave to another. Our guide was Brent..who has a doctorate in microbiology..very impressive. Our family had a blast and I was happy to show my family one of the wonders of this Earth the planet provides

Rajendra Momaya

Great tour,

Melissa Morton

Everyone was so friendly and very accommodating to our sons. Loved our experience!

Nitrous Beast

The caves are very cool, just know when you come to the visitor center to reserve a tour that you need all members of your party with you to reserve your tour, they need to measure the kids and make sure they are at least 42" tall to safely navigate all the stairs throughout the tour. Definitely worth checking out at least once in your life.

Robert Carney

We enjoyed the trip through the cave. Our guide was very good and well informed. We were in a small group so that made it better.

Tonna Brotton

Genevieve Golden

Great place to visit for family and friends. I love our time here with my daughter.

Brent Wood

It's a very unique experience. There are 500 steps inside. It takes about an hour and a half. It cost $10. You can take flash photography inside the caves. It closes the second week in November.

A ways out but so worth the drive. The drive up from Cave Junction is scenice Allow yourself about 45 minutes to an hour to drive from Cave Junction up to the Park. The road has many twist and turns as you ascend the mountain. We did advance reservations for the Discovery Tour, which is a 90-minute tour that takes you through almost 1 mile of the cave. The cave is cold and wet, so wear pants and shoes with traction and bring a sweatshirt or jacket. The tour requires some ducking and avoiding of obstructions which you aren't supposed to touch. There is a fair amount of stair climbing. We also took a hike on the No Name Trail, which is approximately 1.3 miles and covers an elevation change of 290 feet. Depending on where you start the trail, you could end up going up a steep climb or going down a steep descent. My kids did the Jr. Ranger Program and earned a Oregon Caves Jr. Ranger badge. We enjoyed our time here. During our visit the cafe was closed for renovations, so bring food and water.

Prashant Gadagi

Frances Boersma

It's really remote and the tour is very good. The hiking is steep so for good legs, this is a gorgeous forest as well.

Beautiful

Cynthia Velasquez

Beautiful ! Be ready for the long winding road with fast switchbacks and blind corners. There are spots along the road where I white knuckled because hey you are climbing 4,000 ft above sea level, worth it. Drive slow and safe.

Edward Cotton

Loved the gift shop, great staff and great cave experience for the little ones. Beautiful views. Restrooms. Great place to pinick and enjoy the trails even if you don't pay for the cave tour. You can park by the lodge if it's not open. Save you that short walk.

Purported as MODERATELY strenuous but if you have back or knee problems it is EXTREMELY strenuous. ..beware. I feel they do not stress this enough.
