Ski Bowl riles Mt Hood. Best steeps, best staff and best place to get a beer - The Stube.
Fun summer Adventure Park but wish they improved the downhill tube slide and included the zipline in the pass
Excellent customer service with fast replies and up to date information. Even in the off season! Looking forward to seeing you this winter!
We only did the Alpine slide when we were there. But that was quite awesome. Only thing, if you want to go fast you want to wait at the top for any little people that left before you. As you may catch up to them really quic
Good place to tubing and for children to have fun inside and outside. The parking was expensive so we parked 500 meters away. Place is well run by the people and totally safe. I would really recommend to visit if you are local or a tourist. We were here during Christmas season and all was good.
Highly suggest! Wonderful place to have some outdoor fun! Wasn't too busy, nice staff. Went for our 5th wedding anniversary!
Awesome attractions and the alpine slide is so much fun. Very fun place to take your family or just another friend.
Can't really add much more to what's already been said. It's awesome and fun for the whole family. My only beef is that the kid snowmobiles cost extra. Really? After that hefty admission? Not cool. Other than that, it's a fun place.
The text now facility is very quick and easy to use. They were able to inform me of the correct party to contact for my needs
It was fine not the funnest summer establishment but it wasn’t the worst
We had an awesome time! Kids are already asking when we can go back. The adventure park has activities/rides that other places don't....all while enjoying the beautiful mountain view. A definite plus, the ENTIRE staff was friendly and helpful. (We even locked keys in the car. They had resources to quickly help. They turned a stressful situation into a fantastic day).
Had some questions about the Snowtube park. Customer rep was very quick to respond with answers.
Spent a wonderful day on the mountain. So many activities to choose from. Coming back as soon as possible.
First stop on the mountain! Great place to ski if snow permits it. Not too bad of parking great little old school ski facility with plenty of exploration terrain. It's been my go to place for many a trips. Great summer picnic location also with great wide range of activities downhills for bikes and the Alpine sleds during summer's escape from the city days with cool altitude air when the flatlands are burning up in the 90's. Great stop to make when returning from Eastern Oregon trips.
Had some questions answered from guess services they did great!
It's an amazing place to come visit and spend the day with your family. Working here is even better the perks are just some of the things that makes this place amazing. Everyone here is family and the atmosphere is amazing. Food is great specially the pizza at the rat! The view of hood is amazing
Had I not been confined to a wheelchair, I would have found this place a lot more entertaining. From what I can see with everybody else, they were having a great time with all the different rides that are available in off-winter times. Looking forward to coming back when I'm able to walk again
I've loved coming here to do the night time tubing. It's a fun spot with friends and there's often Groupons available so you save on the cost a bit. Right nearby are some great trails and pull off areas to just play in the snow or take photos also. We've brought our own sled and hung out in the snow right outside of the Skibowl entrance sometimes when they weren't open or was too expensive to go frequently.
Great place for a family day. Price seems fair. Especially wkly rates for all of the amenities. Unfortunately I was on crutches and unable to do much and although it is not a handicap accessible place Julie the HR director and the rest of the staff helped me get around on golf cart up and down the hill so I was able to watch my children enjoy all the things up the hill. Teens loved everything especially the Alpine slide. Whet up and down 4 times in a row only stopped because it was closing. Recommended for all ages.
Great place for kids and grandkids over 48" tall(minimum height for Alpine Slide). I am in my 70's and still enjoy the slides.
We only did the Alpine Slide but man was it fun! I thought originally that it would be a fun stop for my son but we all ended up having a great time. And he LOVED it! I will say that my son is 9 and he was nervous at first but ended up doing great on the slide. We were earlier than originally planned so we also stopped by Trillium Lake to see the view of Mt Hood. If you have the time I would recommend both!
The text support for buying my ski pass was great at answering my questions and getting me to the right conclusion. Thank you.
September 2019 As winter approaches we are in the planning stages for ski season, 19/20, and particularly, where we can go in mid December that has snow. The staff a Ski Bowl have been super helpful in helping me make a decision, by sending me links & graphs to historical snow fall both at, ski bowl and Timberline, they also shared personal experience information which is “priceless” knowledge when planning. I highly recommend this resort, they have a very help professional staff and a great place to ski, tube and have fun. !! Stewart
By far the worst ski resort ever! The lack of maintenance makes it very dangerous.
I haven't been able to physically go enjoy the activities at Mt Hood yet (my timing is not fitting in with the seasons); however, the staff has been very helpful in answering questions via the chat/text format. I usually have the information I need within a few minutes.
We did the horse back riding. We had so much fun and the ladies that ran the show were absolutely awesome! 100% recommended. Wife and I have been talking it up and trying to get people to come up there. Very affordable. It was freakin fun!
Super funny! My 8yr old had a blast, and weather was good. The price of $100 for 3 after parking and a couple of cocoa's is not great considering you will only get maybe 15 to 20 trips in your 2hr ticket. But staff was really friendly and patient with my little guy on his first trip, would go again!
Quick and friendly response. Thanks a bunch!
They have a bunch of activities to do and i plan to come back to try them all. I think this would be a great place for a family with multiple age groups as there is something for every one.
Pretty bad (or unreachable, rather) customer service. I bought tickets online, and failed to receive any email (though my credit card was charged). Good luck trying to get someone over the phone. I tried calling 10 times without any luck. I guess we'll go anyway and take a chance.
Quick response to my question. Great service
Great fun, roads can be sketchy but fun way to spend an evening.
They need to somehow simplify the ticket situation when you get your band on your hand that should work having to go get tickets for everything after you've already been waiting in line wasn't too neat you also should know that when you get that harness on do the rides with the harness then go to the other stuff or vice versa it waste too much time having to wait in line to get the harness on and then taking it off and having to put it back on.really My biggest complaint was the ticket thing when I had a band that should take care of it.the bridge walk. I went thru the whole information talk 'll then went over to do it and I didn't have a ticket.that was it I called it a day three rides adrenaline pass doesn't make it easier.i guess you need to go thru it once.the second time would be a lot better.also they tell everyone it's across the street, wrong how about down the street and over the overpass.its diffently not across the street and you don't walk to it.thankyou I will be back someday with a little more knowledge on how things work, also more patience.
First time to Mt. Hood ski bowl summer events. I went with my mom who is 66 years old. We enjoyed our selves except for the teenagers/ young adults who are running the sky lifts. I know it's a busy place but we have seen them slow down the sky lifts for others who are getting on or coming off but not for my mother who they yelled get off get off as she was trying to and getting out of the way. I believe it's BS they treat people that way. I know we signed a consent but for good Lord be kind and keep things safe to others also. We may come back but we will will also watch out and speak our concerns before getting on the sky lifts again.
I brought my four year old son here for a ski lesson. I like that they do an all day group thing for kids, so they have the chance to settle into the environment with peers. He loved taking the moving walkway up the hill to check in! The ski school had a yurt for lunch and storage which was a nice bonus. Everyone was really friendly. Of course there is timing and grown up skiing there, but I can't really comment on those. The lodge was chill, with lots of room to hang out and play card games or read while the class was going. and the fries were good.
Great place for kids to enjoy park and rides all around government camp
When I want winter, I go there. Great ski resort. Always beautiful snow for selfies and family photos. There are places for skiing, snowboarding, and even a slide for children and adults with tubs. There is a restaurant with delicious dishes and quick snacks. There are also hotels. Parking places. Great place for a family holiday or a holiday with friends. In the evenings it is possible to have fireworks, beautiful lights, music. The ticket price is too high, but it is worth it.
Great help confirming that my online purchase of season fusion pass went through prior to the deadline and the price increase. Correspondent did a great job but just as an FYI, the pop up in the screen from skibowl shows “Hi there, have a question? Text us here!” Perhaps it might be wise to indicate the hours that is available or something like “We will reply during business hours.” Some other (non related) sites are 24 hour service and people get used to that. Especially when they are silly (like I was) and waiting till the last minute to make an online purchase before the deadline and price change. Otherwise thanks much.
My cousin married his love, and the only thing that would have made it better is if the mountain had been out.
Hiked the Mirror Lake trail here and it was wonderful. A not-to-strenuous 2 mile walk (each way,) with some incredible views including Mt. Hood, weather permitting.
Awesome place to see and ride. This was my first-time ever
We're so lucky to have this beautiful and friendly place in our backyard. Great value, helpful staff, I love it. Took up skiing last year. Night skiing has really help m e best the winter blues.
We had a wonderful time at Skibowl. We had three kids tubing and found the time slots really helped ensure the lines did not get to long. There is also and upper hill to tube on. We had a peppermint hit chocolate in the cafe and it was awesome. Can’t wait to go again!
We had a blast. Honestly buying the adventure day pass, was worth it, just to spend a couple hours racing your kids down the the Alpine slide. There were quite a few other activies, included in the passes as well. But the slide was a favorite The bungie jump, was definitely a winner with my kids as well. (Bungie is a premium activity and is not included in the passes, although more expensive pass does give you 5 credits, which you can use on the premium activities, like this)
I doubt these reviews are from real people . Our experience was horrible.. no customer service, no one to help us or explain to us..then sell us $200 worth of passes we couldn't use because some in our party was too large too ride..yet she still sold us the tickets..
Ski Bowl is a super fun, easy way to get on the mountain without paying extravagant resort prices. It's the best place for night skiing and there are usually never any lift lines. The terrain is great, with a decent mix of easy and difficult runs and they have two smaller terrain parks. Definitely recommend skiing here!
Nice hike starts here..they have a luge that looks like a blast for a fun family trip and mountain biking trails. Great air on top of the world!
We did some night tubing at Ski Bowl and had a fun time. It's relatively well organized. At night they play music (pretty loud music for my kids taste) and have fun lights on the slopes. It was a good time.
Summer park at Skibowl is pretty awesome & can likely be done in a day if you're not doing the mountain bike trails. A few items not covered on the site: the food on the east side is bar food, burgers, corn dogs, etc. A decent drink selection with juices, sodas & an assortment of beers. On the West side there is the outback grill which is a little better & has a decent brisket, but it stops serving well before the park closes. Keep in mind the mid week prices Mon-Thu are lower. Watch the weather because some stuff closes with rain, or more likely will cause a later opening for overnight rains. Hope this helps.
Beautiful scenery in summer. Lots of fun activities for the entire family.
Awesome..i had the best time I've had in the longest time...the staff were kind and curteouse and they all had really great happy attitudes. I recommend bunjee jump zip line and the luge board..it was also really beautiful and really fun to bro out in the open air...go on a clear day even if it's to just walk around or hike through the woods you will love it and enjoy the he'll out of it.
Haven’t visited yet but the customer service that was provided prior to my visit has been amazing!
Great place to go for a private event! Easy to work with.. Staff is great :)
Ski bowl is one of my favourites around Mt. Hood. It's significantly cheaper than Mt. Hood. Meadows and Timberline. Plus the night skiing is what makes this place great. It always tends to draw more of a snowboarding crowd if your into that, but skiers feel right at home on the lit moguls of the upper bowl. The lifts are a little aged being kind of slow and only carrying 2 people per chair.
Ms. Wilson was very helpful and patient answering my questions. I received all the info i need to have a fun trip to the adventure park soon. Thank you.
Summer hiking was nice lots of photo opportunities.
We visited the tubing Hill at Ski Bowl East. We printed our tickets online, and that made checking in for our session much easier. I loved having a 4 person tube. Our group also enjoyed the extreme hill. I wish the sessions were a little longer but we had a blast.
Summer Adventure Zone Beware of ripoff with kids under 48 inches and the Action Pass or Adrenaline Pass that includes unlimited Alpine Slide because kids under 48 inches cant ride without an adult. You will need to purchase a $15 one time or $30 two time pass.
Amazing place to ride mtn bikes!! Great venue, super amazing staff, great times
Nice walkways. Bathrooms needed cleaned an tp.
Take the ski lift to the very top :) so cool
Great place! Good prices! Check out the family that owns the horses on East side. They have a great trail to ride and they were awesome!
My son and I had a great time tubing and he really enjoyed the kiddie snowmobiles. The staff at Skibowl are excellent and very accommodating. Amanda was great helping my son learn the ropes in the kiddie snowmobile area and she went above and beyond to make sure his experience and my experience at Skibowl was awesome. She was very patient and welcoming and made my son feel comfortable and safe during his snowmobile ride. My son got several high fives from the tubing hill staff and lots of smiles. Thanks for making this a great, kid friendly place.
I go for the Malibu raceway on the east side it is the most fun in oregon. The guys that run the race track are the best guys out there. See you next weekend!
Very meant for children and teens very up and fun to be at, good food and everything it super nice. Going for parties and big events are really worth it
Guest representatives were very friendly and replies promptly when using the convenient text to help feature.
It's great that the ski resort has so much going on in the summer! We just rode the Alpine slides a couple of times but there was so much more to do! The slides were great and the employees were very friendly and efficient. We wanted to go as fast as we could coming down so the employees let us wait for the people in front of us to get far enough away so we wouldn't be stuck behind them. The slides were just long enough and the backdrop was gorgeous! It's always fun to ride the lift in the summer!
I had never been here in the summer and was up for a wedding. They have a bunch of activities to do and i plan to come back to try them all. I think this would be a great place for a family with multiple age groups as there is something for every one.
Amazing summer getaway. Lots to do with the family. Love the Alpine Slide, Ski lift, mini golf, water sports, race carts, zip-line, tubing, maze to name a few.
Not worth the expense in the summertime. There's only a couple of actual attractions worth paying for--the rest are lame. Perhaps downhill biking makes it worth the green but not for the rolling slides. It is a beautiful place to visit and the staff is very friendly.
We had so much fun doing the alpine slide here. It was well worth it the price.
Clean summer fun in fresh mountain air.
Alpine slides are best but so many fun things to do.
It was our first time at Ski Bowl but not the first time skiing. Got lucky as it was nice sunny day and the snow was good. We started on the west parking lot and checked out the conveyor lift. It is very easy slope and quite short - great for beginners. Did multiple runs on Lower Bowl lift and we also rode across to Multorpor lift. Both are old fashioned two seaters but not too glacial. We really enjoyed the green runs as they are pretty wide and varied. There is great warming hut mid mountain and restrooms as well. Very convenient instead of trying to get back to the lodge area which is up and down hill schlep. The hut had some food, beer and wine, nice fireplace. Not very big but cozy. All the staff at the lifts and the hut was very helpful, especially getting little ones on the lift. We will definitely be back!
Fast response and found the answer I was looking for.
Beautiful place to play around, and the horseback riding people are awesome.
I had a great time lots to do and see
Love the pop up text a question option, had an answer quickly. Thank you for the great customer service!
Great experience. Very helpful!
Great for families looking for an all day adventure experience. Expensive, but I would do it again. My 3.5 yr old son had a difficult time with all the rejection from the really awesome stuff (zip-line, rock wall, bungee-trampoline) he saw others doing. Aside from all the meltdowns it was a lot of fun. UPDATE: We were planning a day trip but we experienced some unexpected weather. I thought I'd take my chances at sending a text message through their website to find out if they were even going to be open and heard back within 1 hr! They planned a delayed opening due to weather but recommended that I we maybe wait a day. I love it when online communication systems work and are timely. Thank you Ski Bowl!
Overall the experience was great. We went to have my daughter get her first snow boarding lesson. Her instructor, Zach, was amazing and I would recommend him to anyone wanting a private lesson for their 7 year old. What brings the experience down a star was the food service. I waited 35 minutes for a braut and fries. Others were waiting an hour for a burger. They need to find a better system.
Great place to bring kids ,hike, mountain bike, ski durning winter but summer has alot to offer bungee jumping go carts horseback rides a must see attraction
Mountain bike race coming up Sunday September 22nd 2019 great trails
Attended a wedding in the lodge area. Beautiful location. The bathrooms are a mess, but everything else was wonderful.
We only had time to ride the slides but they were really awesome! Don't just buy 1 ride for $15 when you can get 2 rides for $20.
Best place to ski on Hood, shhhh (dependent on snow)
The best night skiing in the country. Tear up the upper bowl and then drop in to the warming hut for a delicious German beer. We skip the day skiing with the crowds and hit Ski Bowl up for the night skiing all winter long.
Mt. Hood is a perfect place to be at during the lovely winter months to enjoy the snow tubing experience. We went to Oregon to enjoy our vacation and made it a point to drive up to Ski bowl and then spent the day doing snow tubing. The experience and staff that one finds out there is excellent. You won't regret coming there, enjoying the nature, doing skiing or snow tubing and wrap it up with a beer or hot chocolate. Definitely recommend going there once.
for just a few $ you can take the ski lift which is beautiful and last 10 or 12 minutes up and down as well as getting off halfway on and slide down these really cool go-kart type of things on it curvy track all the way down the mountain. Super cool.
What a fantastic place to spend a day. Set among the gorgeous scenic Cascade Mountains with sliding, zipping, jumping, riding, rolling, climbing, - it was the best adventure park we've been to. They have great park employees, and the scenery can't be beat! Loved it!
Very confusing where things were in the beginning but I have alot of fun going on all the things. I got the adrenaline pass and it was a good decision because I could do all the fun things. The zipline had a long line but was fun. Bungee jumping was amazing the staff were very nice to everyone there and it was a good day.
Went cosmic tubing for the first time, kids and adults all had fun, staff was professional and friendly. We were initially concerned that a 2 hour session would not be long enough time, but it ended up being perfect. Despite warmer temperatures there was tons of snow thanks to the snow making machine, and conditions couldn't have been better. Fun for everyone, we will definitely be back!
Always have a great time at ski bowl, a must go if you’re looking for fun anytime of the year! Cheers!
Love it! Summertime action park is fantastic!! Absolutely take the chairlifts all the way up to the top of upper bowl.
I received answers to my questions about the adventure park in a timely fashion. The person was very courteous.
We went for the preview weekend. With it being their first weekend open they did a really good job on their first day. There is a fee for parking but you can pay for that when you purchase your tickets. There is a conveyor that takes you up the hill to the lodge. It's a little tricky getting into it so I suggest walking the short distance instead. Once up there, there are plenty of space to play, and make snowman and snow angels if you're not interested in tubing or skiing. Now that you are all cold and wet it's time to head inside the lodge to warm up. There is more than one level. The first one is perfect for getting out of your wet outerwear. Warm yourself by the fire, order a referring beverage or snacks. While our kids played we went upstairs to the bar area and enjoyed the view while sipping warm alcoholic drinks. There is also a cozy fireplace upstairs and all the staff were extremely friendly. I highly recommend visiting.
I took my family here for the first time today. Most of our children were born around the same time, so we were celebrating their birthdays. There are various activities in two locations with free shuttle service between locations (the distance between both sites is only a couple of driving minutes). I recommend taking the shuttle over driving your vehicle as the wait is very minimal. Our children had a great time (and I did too). The Alpine slide and the bungee jumping were the favorites, but they also have a good zip line, maze, aqua rollers, batting cages and go-karts. The only drawback for us is their limit on accessing the "top" activities such as the bungee jump and go-karts. They give you five points to use at your discretion. When you access the zip cord, bungee jump, etc., they take a point away. When you're out of points, you have to pay extra to access them. At $79 per person for the top-tier ticket, patrons should have unlimited access to all activities. That's how other places operate, so it's very puzzling why they do that. Overall, however, it was a very positive experience. We would definitely go back.
Super fast and friendly response. Pleasure doing business with an organization like this. G-Cav
Had such a fun day at Skibowl yesterday Spring skiing. There's still plenty of snow left in mid-April without the crowds. Brought a first-time skier with me and the conditions were perfect for learning. Can't wait to go back again!
What a great experience! The rides are fun. The view is amazing. A definite must when in the Portland metro area.
Love the text service. I work in a call center so i can text while working.. shhhh dont tell my boss
We had our company picnic up at ski Bowl. I had the pleasure of jumping off the bungee jump, and taking a zipline run. I have also snowboarded at this Resort which is excellent for downhill Black Diamond runs.
Great place wish I had more time to spend next visit.
We had so much fun here! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The guys running the chair lift were working SO HARD to get everyone on smoothly and were doing great customer service all at the same time. I was super impressed. Parking was a breeze. It is a little spendy but we knew ahead of time what we wanted to do and since the website was a little tough to understand I called ahead about pricing and they were very nice about explaining it to me. Good family fun. Will be going again. Thanks Skibowl :)
Before going, I had questions about what the passes included regarding Premium rides and they took the time to answer all my questions completely, they were very helpful.
Lots of fun terrain! Loved night skiing. It would be nice if the chairs could be updated to three person or quads... I'm in a family of three so I pretty much always ride solo
GREATLY appreciate the texting option and timely response - last year I spend several hours either on hold or calling back over and over trying to reach someone for assistance, and my issue was almost never resolved as a result - wasn't sure I was going to come back this year, but my faith has been restored! See you this winter!
Not good. We hiked up from Mirror Lake to Tom, Dick and Harry Mt. My friend developed severe leg cramps and could hardly walk. We were close to the top of the chair lift but the operator would not let us pay to ride the lift down or to walk the mile down to Government Camp. So we haf to limp 6 miles back to the Mirror Lake trail. I wasn't sure we could make it and almost had to try to call rescue. Not a good experience.
Pricy but fun for a quick visit
Absolutely a blast!! My 4 & 5yr olds loved it & so did us adults. The freefall bungee jump is a must try! I was deathly afraid of heights (still am) but without a doubt will jump again!
Rode up on the lift. Great views. Played a number of the disc course holes. Could have used a map, not intuitive layout. Lost some discs in natural growth (my bad). Best to have multiple spotters w/ u. Sort of expensive ($15.00) for just a ride up.
Katie, Amy, and Francis were so amazing on a day when there was bad weather and jumped through hoops to make sure we still had a great time! Excellent Customer Service! Thanks again Francis!!
This place was a blast, we went with a work party of 7, did some package where we did a slide, zip lines, bungie jump, go carts, all of the staff was nice and friendly. We've never been up here in the summer, it was awesome and we'll definitely come again, plenty we didnt have time for like the bike trails and the disc golf.
Great ski area with views of Mt. Hood. The Alpine slide is excellent
Fun winter summer activitys for the entire family and friends love this place I work as a housekeeper at Collins lake resort and Grand Lodge as well as ski bowl I support these places
To be honest, I liked the mini golf course better than even the alpine slide. I might be an oddity in that regard, though. I'd highly recommend coming to skibowl whether you're an adrenaline junkie or looking for a more tame variety of fun.
Nice place to x country ski when they get enough snow. Great place to mt bike ride in the summer.
Fun 79 dollars especially if you don't ski you got to try the summer park experiences your kids will absolutely love it
What can I say.. this is easily the BEST value for skiing on the ‘hood. Lots to go over so I’ll make it quick: Cosmic tubing: this is the perfect thing for a family to do one the weekends or people my age to do before they hit the bars. The lighting is incredible (can you say LED much?), the music is loud and fun, and people are generally in great moods. Loved the EXTREME hill. Runs: The runs are split 20% beginner, 40% intermediate, and 40% expert. If the upper bowl is open, and you know what the heck you are doing you gotta try it out. I think I makes for the best skiing on the mountain. Food: Ratskeller in government camp has the biggest pizzas and best tap rotation HANDS DOWN. Tried an infusion or two (or 5) and loved the infused bloody Mary’s. 5 dollar slices were bigger than my head. Beer stube has great bartenders and is the perfect spot to hit after a few runs. STAND OUTS: The night skiing, cosmic tubing, and food at the rat! :)
A little expensive for what it is. Beautiful views, decently fun attractions. Highlight was the go-cart racing, low was the poorly maintained attractions (e.g., batting cages, mini golf)
Customer service through on line question submission (they text back) was super quick and helpful!
Prompt and great. Love the service!
It was nice being out in Nature and the ride up was lovely. I enjoyed the scenery from the lift. The buildings could use a little maintenance. They seem a little run down. Their staff seemed quite small and overextended with events (there were other companies having events as well).
I work there and its pretty fun meeting new people and seeing them have fun
Had a blast here for new years 2019!!! We will definitely be going back, BUT DO NOT GO TO COMIC TUBING, they were over crowded, you could only ride the tube on your belly and each person had to have their own hole to sit in. Even my 3 y/o daughter biggest waste of money on the tubing... But Ski Bowl Snowboarding was AWESOME!
We attended a wedding on 8/3. The ceremony, the catering (food), and service were all fantastic. Whomever is running this portion of your business is executing it perfectly! An amazing experience.
This is a yearly trip for us and a great place to go to celebrate someone's birthday. Our favorite is the alpine slide, which includes a lovely ski lift to the top. But there's all kinds of other activities here, if you have the money for them. There's downhill bike runs, disc golf and more on this side, and even more at the sister-complex not far away, including zip lines, car racing tracks, more biking and disc golf, a bungee jump, and more. If you get hungry, I wouldn't bother eating here (we recommend El Buro Loco down the highway), but everything else is fun. Expect to sign a waiver, since part of the fun is how real the gravity is here.
