Beautiful location with well marked trails.

Robbers Cave State park was awesome as always. Peaceful outdoor setting not far from a large lake. Friendly rangers. Have been several times, and will most likely go again.

Well Illbe

Beautiful area and nice hiking trails. Stayed in a cabin, very clean, quiet and many furnished needs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A must see when in Oklahoma. Fire pit with chairs included, park office had cheap wood for campfire. Park store has ice, many things if you forget something or run out.

Jami Skimbo

My favorite state park! It is not overcrowded and some some of the states most beautiful scenery.

Allison Smith

The service here is excellent! The people that work here are wonderful and friendly and will go the extra mile. The scenery is beautiful. The cabins they have are great for a quick get away. Take a hike in the morning, or make a fire in the fireplace and just relax. Bring your own food and make it in the kitchen of the cabins that have pans and dishes and eat by the fire.

Alisha Angermayer

Jay T. Robinson

Amazing state park nestled in the pine and post oak-covered hills. All the amenities city folks could ask for in a setting more befitting of backcountry camping. Geological, historical, and natural wonders coalesce in one magical, well-maintained park. A must visit for anyone within driving distance with even a passing interest in nature, wild-west history, or rock formations.

Mr. Molecular Biology

One of the best state parks in Oklahoma. There are lots Wonderful hiking and running area around that

raymond cooper

We stayed here two days, Saturday and Sunday. We visited the caves, plan at least 2hr to walk around and explore. The park has playgrounds for kids. We did the paddle boats witch was fun and relaxing. We noticed a flyer that had a list of events the park was doing through the weekend, we saw a hay ride witch was supposed to take place in half an hour but the employees obviously had forgotten about, but the staff was friendly and helpful and did it last minute even though we were the only three to sign up for it! We camped in site 19, it has full hookups and the concrete pad was level enough to not have to use any leveling aids. Overall great experience and will definitely be staying again.

Aaron Ogg

Went to have a cookout with clients. After cooking food got clients settled to eat we were told to leave . sign said may 26 was reserved but we were there on 27. Mad not the words I would use. I see what the almighty dollar has to do with it .I remember when it was first come first served.for free.

Jeremy C

Incredible place. Great place to bring your family!

Neil *

Beautiful, well-maintaned state park. Great hiking, camping, rock climbing, horseback riding, kayaking. Will definitely be back!

Vincent Lee

Though it's almost a 3-hour drive from Oklahoma City, this State Park is worth a day or an overnight visit. As a group of avid campers / hikers, we took the opportunity of the cool Fall weather to spend a weekend at the Lake Wayne Wallace Campground. This site is a primitive campsite off Ash Creek Road with a ramp to lower your boat or kayak into the lake. We love the proximity to the water, which provided a beautiful view of the mountain as a backdrop and especially with it painted in Autumn colors. Creature comforts like the bathroom and shower is about a 5-min drive. Robbers Cave Stables is also a stone's throw away, offering guided trail rides on horses. A trail head leading to the Robbers Cave is within walking distance of the campsite as long as you are comfortable with a 2+ mile hike to and from the cave. It is an easy hike that's kid friendly, with sufficient directional signs to make sure you don't get lost. Make a point to visit the Nature Center to learn about the history and ecosystem of the park when you are there. You might even see (and hear) a rattle snake in close proximity! If you are not up for camping, air-conditioned and furnished yurts and covered wagons are available for rental. We enjoy being outdoors and eating food cooked over campfire is always a treat!

Mohammad Alkrad

Amazing hikes. Amazing climbs.

Jody Northrup

Great place for family fun and the restrooms and showers are well kept

Wendy Richardson

We unexpectedly had one of our best days here. Great weather, last minute plans. Host and guide were very nice and educational. Great horses. I wasn't even nervous. The horses were relaxed

Delbert Hollan

Big mountain lion

Steven Acuff

It's an awesome place very beautiful if you like nature

Natasha Terrell

I went expecting the worse of this park regarding other reviews on the parks cleanliness, we experienced the complete opposite. We camped (tented) at the equestrian (RV) camp ground. It's a nice place to camp with water and electricity but bad smell if your not use to horses. The area was nice and decently clean including the comfort station. (Note: there is no fee at this camp ground to use the showers.) The showers however did need some detail cleaning. The Robbers Cave trail was very nice, has beautiful views and just an awesome time spent with the family. Being out of shape, the trail was a bit strenuous but definatly worth it! Carlton lake was a nice experience with beautiful views of the bluffs but very muddy (brown) looking water. Thankfully their is a pool on site for $5 a person. Traveling the area we saw another camp ground Deep Ford (or fork?), that had tent camping by the water of Carlton lake (terrible restrooms though???). I pack my own porta potty but not a shower. A couple of those sites did offer water and electricity, a utility I do not mind paying for when camping, and probably the camp ground we will stay next time for sure...I may purchase my own porta shower! At the equestrian, you have to drive to the water to swim but a very short drive. The staff at the gift shop was very friendly and informative of the trails in the area. About ten minutes from the park is Wilburton, OK with a decent priced grocery store and the Choctaw Travel Plaza and Casino that sells 25lb bags of ice for $4.20 and bundles of wood roughly $4 bucks. We stayed two nights and 2.5 days, this was not enough time to visit other trails, next time we will plan for a longer stay. Robbers Cave offers a unique outdoor experience that is worth the drive from OKC. I had a great time with the family and discovered it may be time to get in the routine of going to the gym.

Dena Ware

It's such a nice park to visit. The day we were there it rain over 1.5 inches. The dam was overflowing, but it was a nice sight. It has nice pavilions that we got to hide under to keep us dry. Didnt get to fish much because of it.

Dow Hughes

Great place to be outdoors and have fun with your family. I would recommend this for anyone trying to get away from the house and who wants to see some great views. The camping fee was $14 so it's not to bad. Thanks for reading my review and I hope it helps!

Paul Nowlin

Great place to do fun outdoors activities. Cave exploring, rock climbing, swimming, playground equipment, and so much more.

Cabin are close to dilapidation. Sofa bed mattress was filthy and not usable. Would not recommend and will I not return to stay.

Cynthia Medlock

Great family place. Find more thi GSM everytime we go. Vant wait ti go back again

Jackie Branscum

Mason and oaklee had a blast at the fall festival and car show

Amanda R

Scenery is beautiful. Amenities are awesome. Guided tour was nice. The only reason I dont give 5 stars is the fact that the campground was infested by ticks. I completely understand its nature but there's no way the office isn't aware of this. A heads up would have been appreciated.

Marie Shelton

Lots to do. They have paddleboat and kayak rentals. Swimming in the lake or the pool for $5 a person. There's also bike rentals, mini golf, disc golf, horseback riding and lots of hiking trails. The cave itself is a good hike and fun to see.

It's beautiful and a great place to relax. We used to go feed the catfish and paddleboat. They also have a pool and food, lots of play areas for kids. Good place to see all kinds of wildlife.

Lisa Cole

nice.. serene, rustic. swimming in lake, paddle boat and kayak, canoes to rent.cheap. also a pool area and souvenier shop. Several events held there throughout the year. camp grounds. tents and rv's, cabins and i think horse stables, hiking. great for families , outdoor fun.

Lois Jean Chavez

It's a very nice place to camp and spend time with family! Places to fish and swim. Nice camp grounds lots to offer and had a blast!

Denise Marts

Loved it. We didn't have a very good RV spot, tho. RIGHT next to the bath house. Everyone kept pulling in behind our RV & parking (with their lights on) to use the restroom. Very annoying. The rest of the park is very natural. You felt very back country with some amenities. Virtually, NO cell service, so know that before you go - it's was ok with us. The roads were well kept. Kids enjoyed climbing, repelling, & swimming in the lake. It was pretty hot! Too bad that you have to pay extra to swim if you camping there.

Linda Stephens

This place is so neat and cool. Becoming here for years

Donnie Smith, Jr.

Loved it when I attended EOSC from 83 to 85 loved it in 2019.

Jennifer Miller

Miniature golf, snow cones, paddle boats, swimming, nature center, and a gift shop. What is not to love?

Jacob Tenney

We camped at this park and we're very pleased with the facilities. There are a large number of campgrounds to choose from. The cave was a really fun hike. It's not a long hike buts it's packed with great views and a somewhat challenge to climb. My 3 year nephew did just fine however--holding on to my hand. The lake provided fishing AND paddle boats. We will be coming back!

Michael Velazquez

The weekend was amazing in this gorgeous park. We stayed at the RV campground, and found it clean and family friendly.

Andrew Billy

We decided to go south today to robber's cave state park instead of our normal trip normal. It'd been over a decade since it's last been. It's still very well maintained and beautiful. We'll definitely be making more trips there this year.

Lonnie Wright

Fun for swimming. If you want to ride your utv, go somewhere else. The trails are horrible.

Priscilla Phillips

Jerry Lucas

Great place to hike people who work there are rude. Beautiful scenery

Doc Robertson

Awesome. Beautiful. Overnight campgrounds were clean and well kept. Day use area restrooms were clean but could definitely use an update to match the surrounding beauty. People need to appreciate the beauty of the park and LEAVE NO TRACE! Fire rings were full of trash at two areas we visited with dumpsters 75 ft away. Wife and I picked up two Walmart sacks + an empty charcoal sack full of trash just to clean up the area we used. PEOPLE, PLEASE! The robbers cave area was surprisingly free of trash and litter and the hiking trails were superb. Highly recommend that anyone traveling nearby for any reason stop and enjoy this unique area of Oklahoma.

Pete Moyer

Great place. There is much more to do than just look at the cave. Camping, hiking, picnicking are also great options!

Nani Merck

CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK! My boyfriend, and our friends hiked here and it was an experience! Lots of little adventures to go on, and we saw so many odd animals! Snakes, big lizards, frogs, etc! Love it!

Frank Gant

Lots of rocks to climb and crawl through. The cave is more of a hole in the rocks, but we didn't expect a full blown cavern. Trails here are great too. Some easy ones and some advanced. Lots of great camping areas as well. Just beautiful all around

Linda Russell

So beautiful!! Went to fall festival craft/car show ..it was all amzing..we will be coming back next year camped a Sardis lake wonderful place as well

Greg Grant

This is a great place to do all sorts of fun outdoor activities. From horseback riding, fishing or boating there is something for everyone. Take a hike, swim at the beach or pool or just have a family and friends cookout. It is the best place to enjoy your off time.

Annette McCall

Nice place food is good great company

Mandy Coplen

Always have fun when we go there

Lindsey A

Our first time visiting Robbers Cave SP and we will definitely be back! This place is absolute gorgeous in the fall (all the leaves) and we are interested to come back in the summer months. We stayed in an RV site in old circle loop in sure 29, which has really great privacy ( for a camp site) but if it rains, there is a bit of drainage that runs along the side of the site. We had family that rented cabins which are basic but have everything you need. If you have small children the cabins back up to a cliff face which was scary from a parent perspective. Cabin #101 has a breathtaking view but note: it is NOT for small kids, it’s a major cliff drop off. The cave hike is totally doable with kids as small a as 5 and is super cool! There are playgrounds everywhere, rent a golf cart for $25, nice camp store and kind people.

dustin McC

Not a secret place in Oklahoma, Very Well Maintained with awesome views. Trails are easy and Primative camping sites abound.

Kaylene Hooper

Whether you're having a family get together, or just taking a scenic drive, Robber's Cave has unlimited possibilities for great family fun and adventure.

Charlotte Crum

Took my son & grandson to Robbers Cave to enjoy the beauty & peacefulness as it wasn't yet warm enough to go out on the water so we had bought different discovery items to explore new things together in the picnic area, played in swing area, then went to explore caves together. Can't wait till summer they have outdoor music stage area, swimming pool, camp areas, and paddle boats, big trikes to go out on the water, horse riding stable will enjoy those things soon.

Kevin Wherry

Great place for a getaway with your wife or the family. Campgrounds are designed for all types from cabins, overnight, pop up tents too a small hotel on site. Trails, horses back riding, swimming etc.

Ashley Nickell

We had the chance to visit robbers cave it was very beautiful very well kept up the bathrooms were really clean and the staff was extremely friendly one in particular we had the chance to meet was a lady named Renee who was kind enough to assist in our family photo by taking the picture so we could get everyone in it as well as sharing knowledge about the park with my children ...the pool was clean it was an all around great experience so once again thank you Mrs. Renee

Sara Edmundson

We had an amazing time. I hadn't been there since I was a kid but my memories of the place held true. My kids were exhausted at the end of the day. We honestly didn't even make it to the cave. We went on the medium length hike which goes way around behind the cave and took us approximately 3 hours or so (it has been a few months so the hike could have been longer). If you are able I definetly recommend going on this trail as it is very scenic. It is worth the hike. The facilities were very well kept and clean. We drove back up to the lake to have lunch. The small play area was nice for younger children and the park as a whole is picturesque. We Will be heading back soon in the fall I am sure.

Kay Clowney

Cabin was perfect—beautiful view from the bluff—clean and functional.

Raven Lightstar

It's a very good park. By the cabin office, they have these fossils of ancient plants and there's a small shop inside too. Lake Carlton is a beautiful place to swim in the summer and the 4th of July fireworks are just spectacular every year. There are 2 group camps for organizations who want a place to hang out for a fun weekend and an equestrian camp too. On the north end of the park, the actual caves are deceptively large. While there's not much of a way inside the deepest parts and it's actually quite dangerous in certain parts, it's still a very fun time if you enjoy nature. Also, the view from the top is very nice. Some of my best and a bad memory or two exist here.

Kevin Lovejoy

Beautiful place, nice clean cabins, can't wait to go back.

Billy Kauffman

Love to go camping with the wife.

Tony

Great to visit again. Been a long time. What a wonderful beautiful place to visit.

Jon Chrestman

Beautiful park. Loved vacations with my family here.

Chuck P

Fun place for camping with the family. Absolutely beautiful part of the state.

Pierce McCallum

I loved the scenery and I loved the camping. But if you're going to call it a park, then you need to be able to navigate it. Not only was it hard to find the camping site but the signs in the dark arent easy to see at all. It had restrooms that were subpar, not regularly cleaned. And the stalls had no locks, not a good experience in that department either. Overall the only experience that made the camp there fun was because I was with family, without that the camp would have really freakin' sucked. Don't go here for a camping trip for your family or yourself.

Amber Mack

This place is beautiful... Definitely one of my go to spots to enjoy nature.

ThePurpleFox37

I can always count on Robbers Cave to help me get some awesome pictures, I also love the nature exhibit and gift shop

JJ Lambert

So beautiful here, a piece of history
