What a cool place to see items and history from the past. They had a display where you could guess what the items were used for and find our what they actually were. It was so fun because we had no idea on some items. They had a lot of information in a film presentation of woman that had changed history. The employees were friendly and helpful. Fun place to visit.

Pioneer exhibit was small, nothing there I hadn't seen before. Interesting information on women in the wild west shows. Also exhibit on women in the news media.

Ohnnyja Oremanfa

This museum had no real clear focus. The focus should be on pioneer women who settled the West in the late 19th century, but this museum and its exhibits were more focused on pioneering women and their achievements in the 20th and 21st centuries. Also a large portions of the museum was dedicated to Oklahoma female journalist, which is a worthwhile topic but one out of place in this type of museum. Over all it tried to be too much of too many things, which made it not much of anything.

The Pioneer Woman is a favorite landmark and museum. I grew up in Ponca City and returned there to visit after 45 years. The Pioneer Woman is beautiful, so photogenic and still in great condition. The museum is on of the greatest women's museum in the United States as well as Oklahoma. There is so much to see there. These folks do a great job protecting our heritage, beautiful exhibits and gift shop. What a jewel of this little city!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Pioneer Woman Museum. The exhibits are well thought out and informative. The facility is beautiful and inviting. I found the staff to be very welcoming, and eager to answer any questions you may have. Keith, the resident historical interpretor was especially helpful and taught me more then I ever could have expected from a single visit! A great stop for anyone interested to learn more about the local history. They focus most of their exhibits through the lens of women who have helped to shape the local, state, and federal social and political landscape. Very informative and absolutely worth the money!
