Don't let the building fool you, it was like Mary Poppin's magic bag, way more than I expected inside. Price seemed fair, gift shop was nifty

Matthew Jones

This place was really amazing. So many items to look at and explore. Scavenger hunt for kids of all ages (including adults). Displays are very informative and done in a manner you can really take your time or even get through fairly quickly. Awesome place to visit.

Erika Miller

Awesome place! Very educational and hands on you are allowed to touch the skeletons except the Grizzle bear. They even have owl pellets that u can purchase for $4 and your kids can break it down and find the skeleton remains of a very small owl. We had a blast and my boys loved it very much!

Amanda McStay

This place is AMAZING! So much to see and the gift shop is alot of fun too. You have got to see it for yourself.

A Childers

Amazing museum! I've been in more than a few museums, and I really appreciate a museum-quality experience. Well worth the admission price. There are scavenger hunt sheets for younger kids, grade school kids, teens and even for over-18 museum adventurers! This was definitely my favorite part of the experience. My kids learned many new things about animals and bones. Also, don't forget the GIFT SHOP! Lots of fabulous and quirky gift ideas. Even if you aren't very interested in going to the museum, you can stop by the gift shop and find plenty of exciting and unique items. Buy that special someone a real butterfly encased in clear plastic, or a fun toy chicken that comes apart - skin, bones and organs. You can finish the whole museum in around two hours, so it's a great date night idea. Going to the movies is pretty lame compared to the wonderful treasures you can see up close at the Osteology Museum!

Holly Osborne

It's a small museum but everything is so interesting. I'm from out of town but the next time I visit I will be going again! Theres also a great selection in the gift shop for everyone.

Chris Hukill

Awesome! All the bones here are of current extant animals of all kinds. We went for the forensic dinner they do and it was really neat. If you like the criminal forensic shows, you will enjoy this.

Kevin Knight

Very interesting to learn what all the animals bones look like.

Sydney Kerby

This was SO worth the trip. What a cool exhibit. Highly highly recommend going.

Cecy M

Fun place for people of all ages. My toddler loved it especially since you can actually touch the bones!

The museum is awesome. So many skulls and information. They have a huge whale skull in the lobby, and an AMAZING gift shop. Sometimss I just go to the gift shop to buy room decorations.

Pranav Gupta

Great place to learn and fun. Hunt was very interesting for kids.

Alex Padilla

Melanie Perkins

Loved it! Learned ALOT.

Robert Booth

This was one of our favorite places. All the friendly staff to greet you as you come through the door. They had 2 skulls being naturally cleaned by bugs. This place is so cool.

J R

Full of amazing skeletons, scavenger hunts for kids of all ages are available as well! A lot of information and fun facts on each exhibit as well

Stephanie LaRue

My family loved this museum!! Kids even enjoyed themselves! I had to keep running after my youngest son but for the most part there is nothing super breakable here! Definately take your fam and enjoy the day!!!

Norah Houser

This place is so friendly and interesting. Plan on an hour and take a couple of selfies

jesse serrano III

Very good experience. The museum has mostly real skeletons with explanations and plenty of examples! Great gift shop too, able to purchase skulls of many different animals.

Dennis Bart

Neat place, lots to look at. Not a big facility, but very well laid out. Some stuff in there you might not expect in the middle of Oklahoma (items from all over the world)! Scientifically geared, so a great source for someone doing research for school projects! Staff are friendly, and given that Skulls Unlimited is right next door (same owners), I imagine if you needed in-depth info, they could help you find it!

kris gr

Fascinating small museum. Beautifully arranged, well lit & clearly labeled skeletons. Great for artists and anyone interested in structural anatomy! Only wish they had a lower rate for later in the day and student discount. Very interesting place,!

Breana Behnsch

This place was AWESOME! I loved seeing just what makes up all of the things that we share our planet with!

Mike Evans

Great museum. I don't know how they're able to piece together so many bones on the little animals. There's so many to see and you can even touch some. The giraffe and the whale are pretty neat. I've been a couple of times and they seem to keep adding more.

Pablo Ramirez

Excellent Exhibits and fair prices. Friendly staff and excellent information. Kid friendly and adolescent engaging. Great Museum.

Ardi Kalter

Both this one and the one in Orlando are well worth a visit! Fascinating environment to learn about the diversity of life on our planet.

Christopher Plount

Amazing collection. Tastefully displayed and tons of info on the specimens. You will learn something no matter your background. Price wise, the best deal for a family in Oklahoma!

Kelsey Dipman

Fun, interesting, but the staff were kind of rude. When I say that I mean that when we were lead to the classroom, another employee came in on her phone and sat down a cup on the desk and walked right back out still on her phone. I don't know if this is common, but I have always been lead to believe that being on the phone at work in the presence of customers is extremely unprofessional and rude. And the girl teaching our group went on to very obviously choose a favorite group(we were split in 4) and was not very friendly to the rest of us. She helped the other groups during activities, but when my group and I asked for help she wasn't nice, she didn't clarify points we were asking about and disregarded us, swiftly moving on to the other groups and help them where she wouldn't us. Then she had us present our findings and made my group look extremely stupid. We could never be right. It was publically humiliating.

Terry Pillars

Excellent place to take your grandkids.

hailey v

Super nice staff!! They have serval different hands on activities!

Victoria Andrews

This place is a must see if you are ever in the area. The exhibits are amazing and well displayed. My husband and I had a great time looking at all the many skeletons

Ray Denton

Really cool but overpriced for the size. Look for a coupon or special

Alonzo Healy

We had planned to take our teenagers (13 & 19, plus a 17 & 18 year-old exchange students) to the Oklahoma City Zoo, but storms prevented that. We took them to this Museum of Osteology instead (aka "Skeleton Museum") and were NOT disappointed! Took about an hour to go through, and we loved that you could actually TOUCH any of the skeletons on display.

Horatio Hewat

A colleague dragged me to the "bone museum;" had had a lot of trouble dragging me out. I left understanding so much more about what bones are, he roles they play, how they differ among all the various animals. The exhibit is thoughtfully laid out, so that it's easy to compare different apes and hominids, see evolution "in action", I'm eager to return. I took a number of photos for further study of what I learned this morning.

Celeste Ramirez

This place was amazing. It looks so much smaller than it actually is on the inside and what a surprise that really was. The museum of Osteology was the highlight of my trip to Oklahoma. I took so many pictures so I could use them in the future for my art. I'll definitely be visiting again.

Michael Wegman

This place is amazing! I highly recommend taking an hour or two and walking around in here. There is so much to learn. Science is cool!

Athena LeonGuerrero

Great learning opportunity, fun activities, Kool gift shop, and friendly staff.

Deborah Billingsley

I adore this place! I’ve been twice now and am fascinated with their displays. The museum seems deceptively snail, but I actually had a hard time getting through it in one day as each exhibit had so much to look at. They added a new display between my visits that had the skull of the first monkey in space and information on how time in space affects the skeleton. I couldn’t stop taking about it to my friends for about a month. Of particular note, there were a few skeletons on the ground floor of the museum with signs saying you could touch them, which was a very cool experience. I took my boyfriend (who is an armature art student) on my last trip, and he spent most of it sketching the skeletons. He found a lot of inspiration in everything he saw. I highly recommend this place, especially for anyone who likes science shows!

Margaret Va'aulu

I was a little surprised since it's not a well known tourist spot in OKC, but my 3 year old son loved it! There are 2 levels full of all different kinds of skeletons with facts etc. There is scavenger hunts for different ages of kids and a gift shop with science themed toys.

Vernuxius

Took the gf here because she likes spooky e-girl stuff. Was actually really cool.

Karen Becker

Unique, interesting, definitely worth a visit!

Tyler Murphy

This is a really cool place. I've never seen nearly so many skeletons in one place. A big natural history museum doesn't come close. The price was low and the staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. The human skeletons are a little spooky. The skeletons are supplemented by lots of interesting placards to read. Apparently turkeys fly pretty well, and most birds have bones in their eyes.

Garett Tarpenning

Took my son and wife here in our latest trip to Oklahoma and when we come in about 10 days we'll be back. My son was fascinated by all there was to see here and the gift shop was awesome too. It was a little out of the way but definitely worth the drive.

David Shuffield

Grandkids loved it. A lot to see.

D chap

This place was very interesting enjoyed it alot.

Tang Stang

Place was cool and lots of interesting information and skeletons, however it was overpriced and the rude annoying little girls working there ruined the time spent there by constantly counting down the time until they close basically pushing us out. Not exaggerating, one of them even said "1 minute and 10 seconds until we close." Also 15 min before 5:00 one said "they were closing at 5 and we have 10 minutes left, so if we could make it to the gift shop that would be great" which is where they continued to count down the minutes and SECONDS until they closed. Seriously? Your job isn't hard at all little girls, get a grip. Sit there and do your job and let people enjoy looking at what they just paid over $40 to look at. They definitely made the visit unenjoyable. I'd highly recommend the owner hire new employees or teach them to do their job and keep their mouths shut. Will not return to see the rest of the bones due to the rude annoying employees.

Chris Inman

This was a pleasant little surprise. A small drive out (45 min), but worth going to once in a blue moon. Almost drove right part it because of how small it was. Honestly, half expected myself to be a little disappointed when I saw the size. That went out the window after we walked in. For as small a place as this is, there was a ton of stuff to see. An awesome learning experience, and even hands on (although most is in cases, you are allowed to touch some). Almost 90% or better are all authentic, most exting species are of course replicas. A lot to learn and fun for all ages. Although I wouldn't make a trip there very often, it is definitely a must see museum, that I will feel the desire to visit once a year or so.

The_Alpaca_over_ yander

Amazing and interesting. Wish there was more

Sandy_ Nile

The museum was very informative, educational, and had quite a large quantity of specimens. The bones are well preserved and well taken care of. There are two floors worth of displays, but have a lot of information on each display. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I would love to go back. The staff was also very kind and stayed open a few minutes past closing time in order for us to look through the gift shop as well.

Tina Nieves

It was amazing! Lady at the check in was very nice! Lot's of cool stuff to see! I'll be back.

JM Jensen

Totally enjoyed this place. I was extremely impressed with the number of artifacts that small building held. I will recommend this place to all my friends & family visiting the area.

Trebor Brown

What a great place to visit. Lots of awesomeness with bones and some history.

Hiram Roulston

Nice little weekend family trip. They have a lot more than you'd expect.

Samantha Love

This was awesome. My son is a very hands on kid so this was definitely kid friendly.

Joe Richmond

Fantastic place to go! Take your family and enjoy!

Brandy Bundy

This place is amazing!! We had so much fun looking at all the Skeletons! They seem to have a little bit of everything. It's not a huge place. It's perfect for killing a couple of hours with the family. We only spent about two hours and that was with us looking at everything and going to the gift shop.

Kit Doe

REALLY great museum! It is a little building but it has such amazing skeleton specimens inside!

Rob Scholl

Very interesting place, especially it's history. We attended one of their forensics nights, and it was an enjoyable date night. Will definitely go back for additional special events. Bring your camera, there is much to see and photograph here!

Michael Fry

Really fun experience for our family of four. Make sure and give yourself plenty of time. We showed up with a little less than 2 hours to closing time and we had to rush through some of it. Very educational.

Kathy Shannon

We didn't go to the museum but used Harvest Host parking. Nice spot to rest!

Jordan Simons

Really interesting displays. It had a good variety of every type of skeleton you could imagine with I think the large whales being the highlight

sandeep bhat

Small museum, but found it very interesting.. The way they have organised the exhibits, classification of animals families etc. Loved it

Jeff Chaiken

I took my daughter and her 2 sons to this museum. This was our first visit to Oklahoma and we were intrigued by the reviews that we read about this location. We spent 1.5 hours here and we enjoyed our time. If the subject matter interests you then I suggest a visit.

Joseph Dobias

Great experience. Would visit it again.

j w

It was ok, just a little upset that the price was different than what it showed online. Not happy about that.

Dr.Debasree Biswas

Cool! Cool place! Skeletons, all around you, of almost all known animals, also copies of fossils, real stuff. Plus there is kids' corner! And a ton of stuff for kids and adults to do!!

Rosemarie Brown

We were looking for something to do today for our Sunday afternoon and always see this place recommended on here in the OKC area. We gave it a chance and we were blown away by the amount of detail and information! It looks small from the outside and we weren’t sure going forward, however as soon as you step in, you see that this place is full of all the bones you’d like to see and more! We spent about an hour and half and enjoyed every moment. We will certainly be taking our 8 years old as there were activities a child would enjoy, plus it was very inexpensive at $10/adult and $8/child. It’s worth checking out!

Phil Conte

Genius. A really good idea for a Museam and the best bone collection I've seen outside the Chicago Field Museam.

MiMi

Way smaller than expected but it is nice. It was about a 35 min drive for me and if I hadn't tried to read a lot of the information, I would've been done looking at everything in about 30 minutes (give or take). Wish there were more interactive things rather than just touching the few displays.

Mallory Fleming

Over 350 real animal skeletons! It was pretty cool to see for sure. It's the largest privately held collection of osteological specimens in the world! And it's the first of it's kind in America!

Avery Porter

This is a small museum with plenty of things to see. It takes less than an hour to go through the entire display, but everything that is there is interesting and informative. My family and I usually stop here during our ten hour drive to see family and always feel satisfied with what we saw in the small amount of time that we spend there. I would recommend this as a place to go to and see a part of anatomy that is often not displayed and is very interesting. It is entirely skeletons, in case that was not clear, so be prepared. Overall, I have enjoyed every visit here and will continue to go as long as I can.

Jose Maestre

Good place to go with kids, hopping to find a t-Rex but there wasn’t.

Amanda Thomas

We love this place! My son is 6 years old. We have attended the Halloween Party here for the last 2 years. They have such an incredible collection of skeletons, and the displays are stunning. We will return again and again, and we look forward to attending more educational programs here! If you get the chance to do something hands on, like dissecting an owl pellet, take it! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Seth Leach

Pretty cool collection of bones. It's not very big but definitely worth checking out.

Eunhye Grace Bae

Great place but very small.

Timothy Frazier

Wow! What a great place to go and ponder the world through bones. Definitely recommend.

Cody Eldridge

Really really awesome!! The museum was one of the best ten bucks ever spent! Super cool to see so many types of animals on display. The information with them was also very well put together. All of the displays were really well crafted and you can tell love and detail was put into each one. This place is truly awesome and should not be misssed by anyone. Sweet bonus! I picked up a "D" grade coyote skull in the gift shop for 24 bucks!!

Killjoys Tears

I only rated it 4 stars because this just isn't my thing. Even taxidermy freaks me out so I didn't enjoy this at all, but I know most people do so I still gave it 4/5. This is all just my opinion, it just freaks me out that's just it. The building is clean, nice staff, great gift shop.

Reyna Williams

So much to see and learn!

Steven Duncan

This museum has a great selection of a variety of artistic items. There are many events to enjoy and there is always a special exhibition. There is something for everyone to enjoy. It is one of the best places for family outings as well as to take kids along. The place in itself is a knowledge hub. Last week , I went here with my family and the kids in the family had a lot of fun along with learning.

J. C.

The pricing is a little high to me. I wasn't sure what to expect when I visited but it wasn't amazing but not bad either. It was "eh". The wife and kids enjoyed it more so that made it worthwhile. I doubt I'll ever go again. It was just small and you can look through everything in about 20 minutes, probably less.

Justine DeClerck

Interesting place! Larger than it looks. A second level that IS handicap accessible. There are forensic classes that are informative and fun. Gift shop has an array of goods for the science minded as well as some normal kitschy knickknacks. There are plenty of little extras that can keep a person coming back every few months to see what they've changed out.

Richard Gulley

Super cool grandkids loved it so much

Zack Klyne

Very educational! If you have kids, bring them

Linda Smith

This place is awesome for adults and children old enough to know what they are looking at. 4 year olds, not so much. We expected to be there around an hour and were there for almost three. So much to look at! Fascinating trying to guess what it is before looking! Who knew deer skulls were so terrifying! One of my favorite places and well worth the trip! Don't miss it!

Morgan Cusack

My daughter and had a blast!! If you're looking for a cool adventure.. go! Just go here!!

The Deadman

Pretty awesome, not a bad price either. Can be easily a full day if you are super into bones. Can also be done within an hour if your just looking for something to take the kids to. Worth the drive and time either way.

Barb O

So many bones...loved it.

Patty Capella

Nice and helpful staff. Plenty of bones to enjoy your learning skills with. Perfect for PreMed,Veterinary or Anatomy studies or just for your own curiousity. Nice layout. Bigger than you first think.

Ærin Lund

Very educational. Great for kids and adults. For the most part it's even toddler-proofed, but right now they have an exhibit in the front I think is for Halloween with nothing but one of those rope barriers. Plenty of places to sit, too.

D. Butler

World class! This off the beaten path museum is an internationally recognized treasure making it a destination unto itself. This is no "roadside curiosity" but a full museum full of rare specimens impeccably displayed and curated. Delightfully modern and professionally staffed, this is worth the drive, and a minimum of half a day to enjoy. You will be amazed from the moment you step in. Check it out!

Chrissa Hartle

The entire family had a great time here. We spent about an hour and a half and got to see everything. The museum is setup well and everything is showcased nicely. They even had activities like coloring, scavenger hunts and touch tables to aid in the overall experience.

Robert Conway

Large display of skeletons, great place to take the kids and teach.

Rachel Mortensen

This museum is smaller than I expected, but my boyfriend and I loved it! Truly fascinating that almost every skeleton in the place is real, and it was definitely interesting to see the skeletal structures of so many different animals, as well as the skulls of different human races! Some of the animal skeletons on display include various felines, dogs, birds, monkeys, and there are even a couple whale skeletons suspended in the air! Go check this museum out for yourself; you will not be let down!

Ryan Traffanstedt

At first I was surprised by how small the museum was. But don't let that fool you. So many different animal bones to see & you can easily spend awhile going thru the museum. The setup is nice & organized. There is a little area for the kids to be able to play & learn. They have a scavenger hunt list that is neat to do. They have a cool gift shop as well with souvenirs you won't see anywhere else.

Kellie Buckner

Awesome place! It looks small on the outside, but inside doesn’t feel small at all, even with the massive skeletons. Our kids love going here, especially when they have special events happening. We’ve done trick or treating here, too and that was a blast

Kera Morton

My kid loved it! He even wants to go back. I WANT to go back. My favorite was the human skeleton

Rick Anderson

Cool place and if you need a skull mount they can do that too!

Samuel Clemens IV

Must see! Very cool museum. We'll definitely tell the homies about this place.

Nagavishnu Nagaraj

Unique museum, a must visit place in OKC. There is a large collection of bone structures, giving you literally a whole new insight into the living beings. A detailed viewing will at least need 1.5 hours of time. Great place for kids and adults, with some practical exercises as well.

Jeff Martin

I enjoyed myself in this small but dense museum. It was very interesting and I learned many things about animals. There are activity sheets for kids thru adults that can make it even more fun

Faybian Acosta

Really good museum for the little space it is. I not really into museums but this one did keep me intrigued because of how you are allowed to touch some of the bones and everything there you can kinda relate and understand. There is also a puzzle for all ages to do when you walk in to the actual exhibit. Would recommend giving it a try if you want to do something different.

Rob

Don't blink or you might pass this one up just like we did. It's small relative to most other museums, but this two-story building packs Mini interesting skeletal remains. The kids especially enjoyed the scavenger hunt. This is a do not miss for home schoolers or field trips.

Maksim Smelchak

Absolutely fascinating. Really well done. Totally worth the trip. They filmed a Dirty Jobs episode here with Mike Rowe.

Gideon Keith-Stanley

This is a really great museum and is curated by a staff that are highly knowledgeable and committed. The exhibits cover the bulk of the vertebrates and makes understanding comparative vertebrate anatomy quick, easy, and enjoyable. The care taken in preserving the specimens is impossible to understate. Almost all of the exhibits are real skeletons, but there are a few replicas and these are clearly marked as such. The gift shop has a lot of typical zoo/museum offerings, but also has some unique items from their collection. The price of admission is also very good, with coupons and deals frequently available. The place is very wheelchair accessible, with a load bearing elevator they probably use for moving giant skeletons that the staff are happy to assist with.

Arica Demme

Excellent museum of skeletons, skulls, and other bones. I noticed the adults were just as engaged as the kids!

Vincent Alexander

Really cool place to go and see skulls and info on all kinds of reptiles and dinosaurs and stuff

D Manley

This is one of the more interesting museums I've visited. It's hard to put into words how good the skeletons are displayed considering the space in which conservators have to work. The detail and creativity shown in the poses is impressive plus a few comical touches in the right places makes this museum a gem. This collection shows a level of care, reverence and professionalism that is rarely seen in private collections. If you're a curious individual be ready to spend a couple of hours there and be entranced by skeletons from every continent.

Thomas Hunt

There are a bunch of really cool skeletons for all kinds of animals, ranging from whales to shrews. It's a great way to spend an hour or two with the kids.

Andrea Jewett

It's small place but huge adventure! Lots of things to see and interesting facts to read. They have scavenger hunts for all ages and a gift shop that you have buy actual skeletons.

Bonnie House

What a fun place to visit! If I lived in OKC I would take the grandkids at least once a month. I was fascinated by the display of beetles cleaning a couple of skulls. There are hundreds of bones and skeletons arranged by type as well as area of origin. Most are the real thing, with well-identified reproductions of ancient relics. From bats to hippos to whales and turtles, you can find finely articulated specimens here. There is a senior discount so be sure to ask for it if you are 62+

Matt DeDonder

Very fun place!! My young children loved it! Reasonable price and very interesting! Make sure the kids do the scavenger hunt.

Amber Johnson

So cool. I went here alone a couple hours before closing and wish I had given myself more time. Entrance price is perfect.

J Bryson Baker

LAME & BORING! ...is what I was thinking when my wife wanted to take a trip with my son and I to the MOO as I affectionately call it. I was blown away. It’s a definite small footprint. However, what it likes in square footage it more than makes up for in content. The museum is expertly curated and attentively run by a small group of engaged staff. The arrangement of the exhibits is thoughtful, artistic, and visually appealing. The content provided within each display is just plain interesting. I found myself actually, like, reading the content. It is SUPER INTERESTING. I honestly didn’t want to leave. If you have kids this museum does a focused job of engaging their young minds. We took our 5 year old and he was excited throughout. They offer age appropriate, self guided, scavenger hunts. We had a blast finding all the different animals. They also sell owl pellets for a very small fee and provide space, on the museum floor, to dissect. The museum has a gift shop with a wide variety of options. Many options sub $10 so your kiddo can take home a little something. We just took home the bones he found in his owl pellet in the provided bag. I can’t believe I’m saying this. I’ll be back to the MOO for sure.

casey phillips

The staff was excellent and the young lady who took my reservation was the best. She stayed with my students and was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Jacquelyn Holmes

This is our second trip here. It is really cool, if you like bones. If you don't like bones, don't go because that is literally all there is

Bryan Clardy

Really amazing curated displays. 800 specimens. Bring your biology geek hat and wear it proudly while visiting

Jessica Brody

Very educational and fun to walk around learning about different animal species. The staff was spectacular!

Jj Laws

So informative. We were there for a field trip for our kids. They had a blast and there was so many hands on activities for the kids to do including a scavenger hunt. There are so many cool things in the gift shop as well. We know where we are going for Xmas shopping!

Cynthia Maddox

It was great fun for the whole family. Lots of cool exhibits, I especially liked watching the beetles clean the fresh skulls.

Jan Allan

My two little scientists loved this museum! And I liked the gift shop because it was easy to find something small as a souvenir.

Shannon Ross

Went as a field trip with the summer program at Gateway Learning Center they had the best time!

RaeOfSunshine F

Very neat! Informative and playful cards with a wide gift shop!

Becky B

Museum was really cool, definitely worth ten bucks. It was moderately crowded so I didn't get to see everything I was hoping to. Gift shop attached has mostly the usual museum stuff for little kids plus some skulls and skeletons, cool but very pricey.

Grace O'Brien

This was a blast! I visited SKELETONS as a gift from my mother for my birthday, and as a person who is super interested in bones, I found it highly entertaining and educational.

Dan Barry

Amazing. Simultaneously clean, professional, but also full of childlike glee & wonder at the subject. The place is a labor of love and it shows. They show off their dermestid beetle colony right up front. They've even got a little case where the owner shows the first dog skull he ever cleaned as a kid, and his grade school science fair award for showing off his young bone collection. Geeky selfies on display w/ Mythbusters, Mike Rowe, etc. A heads up if you're sensitive to loud ambient noise, or if you dislike kids: bring earplugs

Ellie S

Fantastic museum. Very interesting, very well done. The exhibits were fascinating.

Callie Besties with B

It was very interesting. We're going cross country and I am very happy we stopped there. They had bones of all sorts some you could even touch. The gift shop was amazing it had all sorts of stuff. My personal favorite we're the socks I got they had all different sorts of socks. I got monkey ones. I also got my best friend who loves turtles and turtle charm. Plus I got a bookmark. I read a whole lot and I don't get sick from reading in the car and I didn't have very many bookmarks so I got a 3D wolf bookmark.

Kevin Girouex

When you first walk in you’re greeted by a nice lady with a smile. She take your admission ($10) and goes over real quick about the museum. Upon entering you’ll see tons of skulls and skeletons. The museum is super clean and doesn’t have a smell at all. There are tons of facts with all the skeletons which I found very nice. Could spend a long time inside reading and looking at things. They encourage touching of the bones you can reach. When you exit they have a nice gift shop with reasonably priced items. I would recommend this as a nice visit when you’re in town.

Darrick Mcdaniel

Great day seeing the superb selection of bones and super friendly staff so worth a visit

Josephine Leader

Going here when we visit Oklahoma is always an absolute joy. This is a great place to see some unique skeletons and is very educational. Plus, you can buy human bones in the giftshop!

Sandra Jones

Loved it! My kind of place. I'd go back everyday if I could. Out of the way, little hard to find, but if you like bones, you'll love this place.

Ira

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I decided to visit a museum of osteology. The place was fascinating and the displays were well-organized. I spent more time here than I expected. If you're in the area and you have the opportunity I would highly recommend that you come visit this place.

Jim & Micki Dion

This museum was one of our favorite stops on our 93-day road trip. Very well done museum of skeletons of current-day animals. It also seemed to be a big hit with the kids and young people that were visiting at the same time we did. Very glad we made time for this stop.

Ying Tso Kuo

There are awesome. Many different species's bones are there.

Chrissie Ward

So much fun❤ lots to see

My wife collects and decorates bones as a hobby, and she really wanted to visit The Museum on our recent ramble through Oklahoma. I was a bit skeptical that I would find it boring, but wanted to give her a chance to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised, and she was ecstatic, over our visit. When I drove up to the Museum, my first thought was, “This place is pretty small for a museum, but it will not take long to go through it”. I was wrong. The inside is quite a bit larger than it appears from the outside. And, we both spent two hours inside, engrossed with the bones. I should say “skeletons” and not “bones”. They had skeletons of animals (and people) both common and rare, including the complete skeleton of a humpback whale, suspended in the atrium. Wow! We both really enjoyed the way that the Museum grouped skeletons to tell a story. Predators are confronting prey. Bats are on the wing. Primate skulls are grouped to show family resemblances. I would recommend a visit to the Museum for folks ages mainly 12 and up. Many of the display cases are raised 18”-24” from the floor, so that smaller children would need to be held up by adults to see those displays. The Museum does have “season passes” for educators (biology, anatomy, etc.), so that the teachers can bring multiple classes for a reasonable price.
