Its cool because half of it is in Texass and the other half in Oklahomer! Get it? Texoma? Texas and Oklahoma? Put the them together you get.... Other than that, not too exciting!

There are a lot of great camping spots and areas to just gather by the lake for an outing or picnic.

This place is very nice. The park ranger is great. He showed us around and helped us find a great spot. We look forward to spending more time here. It has boat ramps and lots of room for the kids to run.

We went camping for 3 days at spring break. The place is ok but t in need of much updating. Cannot fish at docks. Boat area place. Not much for camping. Load boats and train all day long. Bathrooms old. Need tare down.rebuild. Old little cavins rotting.

I’m sure this is a busy fun place during peak season...but off season it’s wonderfully quiet and beautiful! Stayed an extra night just because it was so nice and quiet! Didn’t use any facilities but the ladies that work in office were very nice! Watch out for the geese that actually run the place!

Will always love Lake Texoma, just not the same, since some of family have passed. Have wonderful memories from Johnson Creek camping days of past relatives. Still enjoy Willow Springs- miss the store. Still visit Sand Point & of course Circle Beach. Just different.

If you're going swimming, Lake Murray is a little cleaner and you don't smell like a fish as much. Lake Texoma is large, good fishing, good for water sports, lots of sandy beaches and lots of good campsites.

Spent the weekend at this park. We had a great, relaxing time. Sites are nice, small compared to other places but you don't feel crowded. The park host were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed at the lake Texoma state park ,its a beautiful park with nice water access, the park staff and hosts were very friendly and helpful, the bathrooms and showers were clean. Overall it was a lovely experience, its a great place to camp.

The lake was beautiful, but deserted. Of course summer is the time to go. A few cabins were abandoned and run down. Would like to have seen them in conditions that were livable and used.:( just so that I can rent one myself. Even though it there was no one there, I still enjoyed the quietness it gave. I'll change my review after winter and let you know how much of a better time i had.

We love Lake Texoma but this park needs so much attention. It has set in disrepair for years. They are just starting to clean some stuff up and tear down some old cabins so I hope it is soon back to it's former lovely self.

Great trip. We fed the geese honestly before we saw any signs requesting that you not, but it was fun. We saw deer running through the park. We enjoyed the scenic views of the lake, nearly surrounding our entire campsite. The weather was almost perfect. There are hiking trails and places to ride your bike. We also took the kayak and explored the lake. We will come back again.

This is a really sad thing that has happened here . The motel has been demolished. The golf course is all over grown with grass and shrubs. The marina is still there and some of the cabins but they look to be needing some huge repairs . The air plane strip is still there . All the amusement park is closed and overgrown with weeds .

This park is kind of run down. Was really nice back in the day, but the lodge is torn down, and the cabins are still standing but look to be condemned.

Lake Texoma state park isn't the gem it used to be, but it's a gem nonetheless! My family has camped here for 5 years or so and had great experiences every single time.

Amazed that this place has changed so much in the last 20 years. Campground is ok. Good for RVs. Lots of noisy boat traffic at all hours. Restrooms function but not in good shape and full of bugs. One hiking trail. Lots of downed trees.
